Indie Hostel - Koh Tao

El personal fue muy atento tanto al recibirnos, como en la predisposición de hacer la habitación cada día, como cuando tuvimos un problema con el AC y nos ofrecieron directamente cambiar de habitación por una nueva.

La habitación privada era muy justita de tamaño, pero aun así pudimos apñarnos bien. Renovaría la grifería de los baños, puesto que pese a cambiar de habitación (por unn problema con el AC) en ambas el grifo estaba roto y perdía agua.

Das Indie Hostel liegt perfekt direkt am Sairee Beach. Die Dorms sind sauber und bieten viel Privatsphäre. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr cool.

Die Badezimmer sind nicht so sauber.

Le lit était confortable, on est au centre de sairee beach, mais cependant on est dans la rue principale ou il y a toutes les boites, du coup il y a du bruit le soir

El format de la llitera

L'ambient adolescent, el soroll que se sent des de el carrer i dentrar i sortir gent de l"habitació a mitja nit, el fred de l'habitació.

Das Personal schien bemüht und der Standort direkt an der Partystrasse und nahe vom Strand ist definitiv ein Vorteil.

Das gebuchte 2er Zimmer war so klein, dass kaum zwei Gepäckstücke darin Platz hatten. Im Badezimmer roch es stechend nach Schimmel, der Ventilator im Badezimmer war kaputt, es gab also keine Lüftungsmöglichleiten. Auch das Fenster im Zimmer war nicht zu öffnen, laut dem Personal war es kaputt (war jedoch in mehreren Zimmern der Fall). Ich konnte keine Nacht dort verbringen, weil mich der Geruch und die fehlenden Lüftungsmöglichkeiten so belasteten.

Sheets had what seemed to be small browny red spots on them. Not much space to sort your bags out in communal area. Showers quite old and most didn’t work properly / cold water. Also very loud from music at night. Thought it was quite overpriced for what we got.

Die Lage ist wirklich super und das Zimmer war auch völlig in Ordnung und sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder sind auch gut und die Dachterrasse super zum zusammenkommen.

Reservamos una habitación para dos noches mi pareja y yo y nada más llegar, la habitación que teníamos no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Se lo comentamos al personal y vinieron a mirarlo y no tenían otra habitación para cambiarnos y la chica gritándonos y con bastante mal humor nos decía que nos fuéramos y buscásemos otra cosa. Eran las 23 de la noche y era inviable coger otra cosa, así que nos dieron como opción cambiarnos a una habitación compartida con 4 personas más, 6 en total. Nuestra habitación con baño privado costó 1300 baths y como la compartida costaba 200 baths menos, nos devolvieron 200 baths, ni si quiera una compensación por la noche ni nada. Un desastre. Además la habitación privada con baño es bastante pequeña y el baño huele mucho a humedad. La última noche nos cambiaron a una habitación con baño privado y aire, pero da justo a la calle de bares y se escucha toda la música hasta altas horas de la noche. No volvería a alojarme aquí

Très bon hostel proche du petit centre ville et de beaucoup de restaurant. Il proposent de grands rangement cadenassés ce qui est parfait pour ceux qui voyage lourd.

Das Zimmer war anders bzw ungepflegter als auf den Bildern, es war kein Fernsehen da und es war alles sehr dreckig und klein. Man musste viele Treppen mit dem Koffer laufen und hat keine Hilfe bekommen. Das Geld war es nicht wert.

In the middle of party street, close to everything. Private room was small but comfortable. Friendly staff.

La limpieza y el sector común en la terraza.

La ubicación es horrible, por el ruido de los bares de la calle. Tienes ruido toda la noche hasta las 5 am. La ropa de cama se podría actualizar, es una manta de años para cubrirte. La zona de lockers no tiene aire y está en un pasillo pequeño que hace muy incómodo el cambiar ropa.

Very good location and nice staff! Walkable to all the main spots in Sairee :) you also get a discount on the food place which is a nice touch!

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place. It was quite dirty and some of the facilities in our room were broken. It was also advertised when choosing the private room that there would be a television included in the room and there was not. The bedsheets had clearly not been cleaned from the previous guests and if you wanted to have them cleaned you had to pay an extra fee that was mentioned on a poster in the room. The air con also gave us a bad cough for a few days after staying in this room. From the reviews it appears that the dorms are a lot better so if you do visit this hotel I would recommend opting for them instead :)

Era muy sucio, también incomodo, tanto las habitaciones como las instalaciones, ya que contaban con escaleras. Además te toca dejar una garantía en efectivo, que no lo mencionan anteriormente para tomar las precauciones.

this is my first time to koh tao. indie was recommend fr my friend its neasy n comfortable for shopping find something to eat . good location. near 7-Eleven. easy to find taxi boat and taxi car. love it and will come back to indie hostel again for sure. next time may be try bunk bed. coz indie made I felt very safe staying here.😁🥰

Guys from the mixed dorm were smoking weed so made me very uncomfortable. Woke up on the 2nd day with a bed bug crawling on my pillow so decided to cut short my stay. Kudos to the staff for helping me.

It was a good location, privacy was good and good shelf area. Nice roof terrace with a view. Big bathroom and drying area, also good lockers close to room.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty sometimes but nothing crazy. And sandy rooms and bed sheets a bit old and stained. Toilets and showers on different floors.

Que o quarto ficou do lado da escada. E por pagar caro, acho que esse quarto precisa ser mais reservado.

Tinha muito cheiro a comida e aspecto a sujo nas instalações.

Die Lage ist recht zentral. Aber Koh Tao ist grundsätzlich klein, wodurch das jetzt nicht sehr schwer ist.

Hatte ein Privatzimmer. Das Zimmer war extremst klein. Es war sehr laut. Zum einen durch die Bars von draußen, zum anderen durch Gäste die ohne Rücksicht durch Treppenhaus gelaufen sind, oder durch Kinder von Angestellten, die laut im Treppenhaus waren. Zum Check-Out war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Musste mehrere Minuten auf den Mitarbeiter warten und hätte so beinahe meine Fähre verpasst.

Einmal ging das Wasser für 20 min nicht, aber dann ging alles wieder :)

It was a good location. A bit far from the pier however it was an easy walk and we were around most of the main spots.

We had an issue with the facilities, no one could come to the room the day the issue occurred so we weren’t able to use the bathroom at all that night. We were told that it would be fixed the next morning. We left our hostel for a snorkelling trip and came back and no one had fixed it “because the sign wasn’t flipped to the house keeping side”, despite all the staff knowing what the problem was. We couldn’t use the bathroom for the rest of the stay and were told to use the communal bathrooms upstairs, despite paying for a room with a bathroom. Besides this issue it was extremely loud at night as it is right across from a night club. The bathroom also wasn’t clean when we first arrived.

Great staff, we’re so accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious and the location was great. They also had a rooftop chill area where they had a fridge and free teas and coffees. Inside the dorms were not loud like all the other reviews claim so ignore them.

Uno de los mejores hostel en los que estuve en koh tao, independiente del ruido nocturno solo usas tapones de oídos y esta perfecto, por lo demas las camas muy cómodas, espacio con número para secar tu toalla y el personal amable

Organizacja na miejscu ok, wszystko jest czego potrzebujesz...prysznic toaleta, prosta kuchnia, zaskakująco cicha kabina w nocy. Ja po prostu nie lubie takich miejsc, tlocznych, halasliwych, odbierajacych prywatność.

L'hôtel n'est pas du tout comme sur les photos. Il a été racheté. C'est mal entretenu, sale, humide au point de faire des crises d'asthme la nuit, et extrêmement bruyant. Cet hôtel a ruiné notre séjour à Koh Tao

Die Lage war super. Richtig zentral in der partymeile. Sehr nah am Strand.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und sehr hellhörig. Direkt gegenüber waren Clubs und Bars, die bis in die Nacht party gemacht haben. Man konnte nur sehr schlecht schlafen.

I think the only good thing about this hostel is the privacy you get in each bed, since it is not a hostel with normal bunk beds.

I think it was completely disrespectful the way the staff, and specially the cleaning ladies, treat the guests. They come in the rooms very early and start making a lot of noise and they act like we are just intruders or random people that dont matter -- which would be fair if not for the high price of the hostel compared to others in the area. Also, since the cleaning ladies are around so much, you would think everything would be very clean, but its not really - onlythe private rooms. I also found it very bad that they will not clean your bunk or change the sheets if you dont ask for it, and if you do they will only do it after 4 or 5 days of your stay.

Se escucha muchisimo el ruido de la calle, es justo la calle con mas marcha de koh tao, si quieres dormir ni los tapones tapan el ruido. La habitación doble es muy justa, no caben casi las mochilas ni hay mucho espacio, la cama es comoda almenos.
