The location was great

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and way too high. It should have been replaced. The bathroom walls have holes in them and should be fixed. The carpet in the passage are not attached to the floor. It looks very scruffy. Although the room is small there should be two foldable chairs so guests can sit. There is no general area with a couch. The bed is too uncomfortable to sit on. The windows can only open a few centimeters. Can't get any fresh air in room

Quiet street but a bit of noise from other rooms

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and tidy.

There's an unsitely, massive gap above the door to the room which I think should be covered up. I'm not sure what its original purpose was but it detracts from the overall view of the room. I think the bed should be repositioned, as it's right next to the window and you have to climb over the bed to get to it. If you have mobility issues, this would be a problem. Also net curtains on the window would be a nice touch, so you can have natural daylight when changing in the morning rather than having to have the light on and the curtains closed for privacy.

Really good price and great location. Often stay here when visiting my daughter at uni.

This is very much you get what you pay for. It was a late booking, but the process was OK and more understandable once I arrived. The place was easy to find - across the river from the stadium so good for that and shopping. There is free parking 6pm - 8am opposite if you can find a space (which thankfully I did, twice). The room was not huge and TV signal a bit patchy for some channels, but it was clean and had the basic facilities, and I had a good nights sleep.

No staff after 5pm (bad traffic) though there is an emergency phone line. However - once I got the text with the codes it was fine. I was a little concerned about parking - though I managed to park twice, Good for town, not for the docks (1 hr walk or 10 mins drive), but there is a lot of free parking after 6pm near the docks so that was fine.

Great location, clean room, good accommodations. I didn’t really interact with the staff very much, but when I did, they were polite and helpful. Appreciated having a kettle, a fan, and an easy check in and check out process. Close to the train station and Cardiff City stadium.

Not much to not like - beds were not super comfy, but weren’t bad.

Walls were very thin. The room next door had a shower at 2am and it was so loud it woke me.

Very good location, right next to Bute Park entrance, Principality Stadium and just a short walk from Cardiff train station. It was easy to find as the house is brightly painted and has signage accordingly. You got everything you need in the room, it was clean and cosy. Perfect for short stays and quick trips!

The only downside it being that upper floors are accesible only by stairs and it's a bit of a climb if you're on the top floor rooms

Расположение отеля ,все очень близко к центру ,Кардиффский костел в 5 минутах ходьбы .Сама улица ,где расположен отель, очень тихая .Близко к автовокзалу и ЖД вокзалу.Все в пешей доступности .Сам номер достаточно маленький ,но в нем есть все .Они даже вместили туда утюг ,гладильную доску ,и вентилятор ) Кровать была удобной ,а самое главное ,это чистое постельное белье ,и свежие полотенца (для меня это самое важное).Также чистота душевой ,и туалета .Были отполированы краны ,и все блестело .В шкафчике был запас туалетной бумаги ,был йорш для унитаза ,и косметические средства в полном количестве (шампунь ,жидкое мыло ).Также был фен ,чайник ,набор кофе ,сахара и чай .По мимо номера,в холле была микроволновая печь,и аппарат с фильтрованной холодной и горячей водой ,и все тот же кофе ,сахар ,и чай.(что я считаю очень удобно ).Была ниша ,где спокойно можно было разместить свои вещи .Собственно нам понравилось все .Спасибо огромное за чистоту .Мы хорошо и спокойно провели 2 ночи в этом отеле ,и если бы нам нужно было посетить Кардифф ещё раз ,я бы бронировала этот отель однозначно .Цена -качество отличное .

Была ситуация с онлайн регистрацией .Я сильно перенервничала,так как уже оплатила номер на 2ночи через букинг .Да ,онлайн регистрация это очень удобно ,большой+ так как тебе дают код по которому ты заходишь в отель и в сам номер ,и собственно тебе не нужно стоять на рецепции и тратить время ,которого иногда и так бывает не много .Но для меня был не приятный минус ,что при онлайн регистрации ,по мимо своих данных ,ты должен указать детали своей банковской карты ,включая дату и CVV код .Я не где не указываю все данные своей банковской карты .Я написала в отель ,со мной очень быстро связались ,и с пониманием объяснили ,что могут зарегистрировать на месте .Спасибо большое за быструю обратную связь .Я решила эту проблему ,но считаю недопустимым сайт регистрации в отель запрашивать все данные по банковской карте . Встречаю это впервые .

Das Personal war täglich vor Ort und ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist toll, ruhig am Fluss und dennoch sind das Stadtzentrum und der Bahnhof fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben sogar einen kostenlosen Parkplatz in der Straße gefunden. Cardiff ist eine tolle spannende Stadt!

Es gab kein Trinkwasser auf dem Zimmer, das konnte man sich im Erdgeschoss aus einem Wasserbereiter zapfen.

The room was large, clean and bright. There was a desk for work, applying makeup and making coffee!! The bed was a double. A really decent sized TV. The staff were friendly and helpful. Really close to the city centre and Cardiff central train station.

Could have done with a second bedside table. The bed mattress kept slipping meaning the pillows kept sliding between the bed and the wall at night.

Tea and coffee in the room and in a communal area. Communal area also had a microwave and cold filtered drinking water. My room was at the back so I had a quiet night. Front was much noisier. Clean room, sheets and towels. Appreciated the fan in the room.

Very tired, looks a bit like student accommodation. Stained carpet in room. On a road that also looks tired/full of houses that look like hostels etc. Hard mattress with a big dip in it.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber, zentral aber dennoch ruhig gelegen, schnell und einfach zu finden. Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt und würden gerne wieder kommen.

The location was excellent, room as expected for the price, happy there was a fan as the room was hot due to the hot weather.

Head banging hazard while using small sink. Where you added a wooden support post to the bed, stuck out. In a tiny space was a hazard. Kicked post numerous times, leading to a injured little toe which has bruised and swelled a considerably. This caused pain and discomfort for someone who is walking for most the day.

La stanza singola era un buco e caldissima. Ho dormito tutta la notte con il ventilatore puntato addosso dal muro. State in bagno per più di un minuto era impossibile per il caldo. Una persona di grade stazza farebbe fatica a muoversi.

Estábamos en la planta más alta y el calor fue horrible. La habitación de dos que tuvimos era muy pequeña, para meterte en la cama de matrimonio uno de los dos tiene que saltar prácticamente… Además el colchón era muy malo.

So central. Got a late flight into Cardiff but could just hop on the bus to the central station which was a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Easy to get in, nothing too complicated and the room was spacious, had everything you'd expect. I had to book this as my other hotel was noisy and couldn't get much sleep. Where as this was very quiet at night. Would recommend if you want some peace and quiet to sleep peacefully away from the busy loud night life from city centre. It's only a 10 minute walk to the city centre so that's great too. Fantastic view of the stadium.

Lovely and cosy place. The room was small but nicely decorated. Good spot near the town centre and the concert stadium. It was really hot during my stay and despite the airfan it was difficult to sleep. Perfect for a short stay.

Location was top notch , parking was ok near by , couldn,t rate the staff as didn,t see any would stay again as it was comfy clean and good views

De locatie was goed om een bezoek te brengen aan Cardiff. De kamer was heel net. Ontbijt was niet aanwezig. Je kon vlot in- en uitchecken. Prijs/kwaliteit is correct.

Camera ampia con letto comodo. Macchina del caffè e dispenser per l'acqua potabile fresca o calda disponibile nella hall. Self check-in. A pochi passi dal Castello in zona tranquilla con parcheggio su strada ( a pagamento dalle 8 alle 18)

Bagno un pochino piccolo (la porta sbatte sulla doccia) e con un solo gancio per asciugamani e senza piani di appoggio. Le tende, sebbene oscuranti, sono un po' corte per cui entra luce la mattina.

Very clean good size room, really comfy bed plenty of tea coffee milk etc Wall fan was fab as it was very warm in Cardiff during my visit, the shower was new and worked well, I found the location really convenient 6 min walk to Cardiff central train station 10/12min walk into the city cente, the check in process is simple, a text to your phone with your door code arrives before 3pm, also there is a small office downstairs that's open 7 days until 5pm, this gives you peace of mind, any issue or help, Kenan and Shola are always fantastically helpful, and courteous. I will stay here again when visiting Cardiff next, i would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff.

Great stay in Cardiff! Excellent location right next to the train station. The room was very clean, stylish, and equipped with new amenities. Thank you so much for the convenient digital check-in via access code — it was the perfect solution for our late arrival! A special mention goes to the incredibly comfortable and large bed. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay (including tea, coffee, an iron, and a hairdryer). Highly recommended!

La cama no era muy cómoda. Entendimos que había cocina y no había cocina, solamente un microondas abajo. También entendimos que había aparcamiento privado y no era así.

Room was small. Bed had been fixed in a way that ment feet kept hitting the sticking out wooden repairs. Was hot room with a fan but no air conditioning so uncomfortable in room during night.

Tudo entregue conforme o anunciado, funcionários atenciosos, água e café disponível o tempo todo, tudo limpo e novo.

Na minha opinião, pra ficar perfeito, faltou uma cadeira ou banco no quarto, apenas para poder se sentar e tomar um café ou comer algo (visto que tem uma garrafa térmica, uma pequena bancada e etc…).

Very small room and bathroom (and shower) but this is fine when considering price, location, cleanliness and convenience. Check in requires a mobile phone number which could have been a problem (and might be a problem for some)

Une unique chaise alors que ce n'est pas un hôtel. Devoir descendre 2 étages pour aller chercher de l eau filtrée car eau déclarée non potable sauf qu'aucune indication si ok pour la bouillir.

Nice size room. Was adequate for what we wanted Everything was very clean. Really liked how you could get in and out without having a key.

Shower power could be better. Found mattress to hard, so didn’t sleep well.

La ubicación. Justo al lado del rio, con vistas al estadio y muy cerca del centro. Y después, el personal del alojamiento. Viaje por trabajo, tuve un problema con la factura cuando volví y lo resolvieron rápido y estupendamente.

Lo que voy a apuntar es relativo a que Reino Unido, en general, no esta preparado para el calor. Estábamos en medio de una ola de calor y el alojamiento era muy caluroso. Es la única pega que le pongo.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Which made our stay. They were very helpful and kind. The location was ideal. The rooms were basic but just what we needed. We also had a fan in our room which we needed as the weather was very hot. Would recommend as a base for weekend for people wanting to enjoy the nightlife of Cardiff

Good location, quiet for being in the city, free cold bottled water in heat wave, all functional, easy access. All worked fine for a short stay.

Only one chair in room but there were two of us on booking, bathroom was cramped with shower behind door esp as a taller couple, check in codes bit confusing as sent multiple numbers, no towel rail to hang damp towels, decor bit dated but not terrible. 10am check out could be extended to 11am to allow for more relaxing check out.

The location is excellent for a city visit. Or a game at The Principality.

For us with our age and my cold the stairs were a struggle. Our fault for choosing a river view.

In a very convenient place

The room was really modern and fresh looking. Immaculately clean. Quiet.

Pas mon 1er passage ici et sans doute pas le dernier.... Amplement suffisant, confortable, propre et très bon rapport qualité/prix. Proche de Cardiff Central Station et à quelques minutes de marche du centre-ville ou du Castle en fonction de la direction qu'on prend dans la rue. L'absence de petit-déjeuner ne se fait pas sentir, il y a plein d'endroit où en prendre dans le centre-ville.

Quartier reste "un peu glauque", surtout en soirée, mais ne me suis pas senti mal à l'aise pour autant.

Sehr gute Lage. Sehr gute und vor allem immer rechtzeitige Kommunikation mit den Betreibern (ohne jeglichen menschlichen Kontakt, alles per Mail/SMS).

Es war verhältnismäßig teuer, aber das lag an drei großen Konzerten in Cardiff (gibt wohl einige Konzertwochen im Sommer, aber ich musste geschäftlich dorthin!)

The parking was difficult because o n one side of the street was residential and the other half was only free between 6pm. And 6am which was difficult

We were given a top floor tiny room, measuring 3.5m x 2.0 which meant you could not even walk around the bed, you had to climb over it to get in. The en suite had numerous holes in the wall which are not consistent with previous brackets etc being fixed to them. They were damage holes. The other rooms in the other levels were much bigger than ours ( not at all hard to beat) and for the money we paid, it was a completer rip off

Maybe could have a mini fridge in the room? We were the top floor and there is a sign saying the water was not for drinking so had to keep going up and down to get water from the machine. We bought a big bottle but had no where to put it.

The location is good for where we needed to be, the staff was very helpful and communication was good via emails

Some area outdated like carpet, the pillow was not comfortable and there was a concert on so parking near hotel was hard, maybe let people aware when event on at the stadium that can't use certain parking and only direct them to Sophia gardens parking straight away

Handy for everything in the City

Was a bit small, but I can’t complain, it did what it said on the tin.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. Quite enjoyed working out how to change the menus on the TV from Spanish to English and retuning it so it could receive normal UK TV channels(!). Tea and coffee facilities were fine. It was VERY cheap.

Didn't receive the txt with the entry code, but fortunately there was a member of staff on hand so I could get in. Slightly disturbed by the sign above the wash basin to say that the water wasn't drinkable - why not?! But there was a dispenser downstairs, so not a major problem. Also a microwave which was useful.

Really good value for money and perfect place to stay - have recommended it to my colleagues. Clean, comfortable and homely. Nice to have the extras such as a communal filtered water machine and items to make tea and coffee on the go. Bed was comfy and shower was nice. Everything thoughtful and ncely done.
