Booking.com and The Belmont Hotel have totally ignored my emails regarding my room and a refund so please view photos of the state of the chairs we were expected to sit in and make your own mind up. We left after ten minutes after a conversion with a very unhelpful staff member and checked into somewhere cleaner.

Location was good. View was brilliant. I suppose that is what you pay for.

But think the hotel needs to look at the small details. Carpet in room was dirty and the room was very small, the bed was very uncomfortable both woke up with bad backs, to expensive for what you get not good value for the money.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful to my family and I throughout our stay. . Especially a particular young lady who was fabulous. She came to my room 204 to sort my heating out. She made me feel extremely comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble 100%.

The stylish appearance of the property was great, the freshness and cleanliness upon entering and the warm welcome and helpfulness of the reception. Tidy rooms, great selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolate and water in the rooms. Access to usb ports and the Breakfast was amazing and tasty.

Difficulties getting channels on TV in bedroom, but no biggie. Also again no biggie but no snack or food options available other than Breakfast in the mornings. That's all.

Friendlies of all the staff ,nothing was to much trouble . Location and hotel was lovely, decorated nice and very clean . It's also a dog friendly hotel which is awesome, and they have their own little breakfast room , thought that was a lovely touch .

A few things , but things that can be rectified, like ventilation in bathroom wasn't good , beautiful sash window but no way of keeping open to get rid of condensation, only a small fan, so there was damp on window and ceiling , paint work needs attention on window. Also not a problem but didn't look to good was bottom of the inside of the bathroom door .

The windows needed cleaning

The hotel is in a fantastic location, opposite the pier and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were friendly, especially the barman in the evening who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, great quality food and plenty to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable with great facilities. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all and will definitely be back!

The only thing we liked was the location

Rooms were very small. No form of ventilation, windows would not open. Very stuffy, night staff said they would sort but did nothing regarding ventilation. Windows were also filthy from outside.

Staff very friendly can't fault them. Breakfast was very nice my boy enjoyed it. 2nd night woke up 4am to family taking an laughing, not sound proofed , floor boards all creak along the landings passing everyone's door

It's in a great location which made our annual trip to Llandudno even more enjoyable. We'll be booking this hotel again next year.

One of the three rooms we had was much smaller than the others which made it more cramped/less value for money considering they all cost the same. We didn't ask for sea views so the windows faced onto a derelict building which was not very appealing, but since we spent most of our time away from the hotel it didn't bother us. Staying a week there you'd be better off to book a sea view room.

Modern and contemporary

Absolutely beautiful hotel, lovely room with fabulous view. Our grandson loved the binoculars and the bag of 2p for the pier machine. Perfect location.

Stayed here before especially to the room 204 will be booking it again next year lovely place to relax brecfast is lovely everything catered for and you couldn’t ask for a better location.

No reception staff - first point of contact with staff was at breakfast next morning. We paid for a superior king room which proved to be a very ordinary room with a king size bed in it. The decoration in the room was tired.

The location was terrific, the room was clean and there some nice touches like binoculars in the room as well as a small bag of 2p to spend at the pier if you wanted.

The £10 charge for ‘breakfast’ for the dog which, when offered a sausage to give to the dog, was not made clear it was to be paid for, and was certainly not £10 worth! We had already paid the expected £15 extra for the dog to stay. Also, one of the group lost an item and the way the staff handled this was appalling; the manager did not even come to speak with the group, there was a cursory look for the item, we had to push for a review of CCTV and they made us feel bad as if we were putting them out; they did not prioritise out issue at all, instead preferring to check out other guests; it ruined the vacation. Fortunately, the item was returned as it had been put away by the night porter, but not handed over to the day shift. If the incident had been handled properly, an hour of distress and a ruined vacation could have been avoided.

A lovely friendly hotel. Breakfast was lovely, you could choose from a vast selection. Location is perfect right by the pier and bars. My parents had a lovely spacious superior sea front room. There is a lift which was perfect for my parents.

We had a standard room, that was little tired and needed a few diy jobs doing during our stay, but once pointed out these were rectified.

The hotel was in a good location to explore. The facilities seemed nice overall. The room was decent sized and had just about everything we needed. The bed was cozy, and we appreciated that there was both a desk and a sitting area. The coins for the arcade were a nice touch.

The bathroom wasn't clean and had mold and gunk in several places, both inside the shower and out. The bathroom floor was not clean in the corners, and the soap containers were covered in dust that I wiped off myself. The shower is very small - about the size of a cruise ship shower. The shower soap container was almost empty when we got there, and the toilet paper roll was more than halfway used, so the bathroom seemed like an afterthought. Our room was in the back of the hotel, so it was quiet, but seemed a bit forgotten back there.

Rooms not soundproofed - people upstairs moving around was very noisy be disturbed us a lot. No amenities such as robes, slippers, toothbrush etc. Did not have disabled aids ready when we arrived, despite us emailing in advance and the hotel confirming they were available.

Staff were incredibly helpful throughout the whole booking and stay. I took my elderly mum and they were so accommodating and supportive. Location was ideal and parking proved easier than I expected at the peak of the high season.

Room was a little small...but modern, clean and had everything needed and at the price point still far better than expected.

I booked two rooms to take my elderly mum on holiday for 3 days. At every step the hotel were superb. They sorted an accessible room for mum, the rooms were clean, modern and had everything needed. The staff were brilliant in their helpfulness (Paul was on duty most of the time and could not have been more helpful). The hotel is right next to the pier, beach and town so access was great. I also found parking was less of a problem than I expected. The whole stay was really good value for money (sunshine and an eclipse helped too).

The staff were wonderful, the room was very nice, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was unbeatable, excellent buffet and also a cooked breakfast made fresh. And the property is fully accessible, there's a ramp up to the front, full marks for bothering. There's a kettle in the room, the bathroom was good, and even though it was a small single room it didn't feel cramped, it had a good desk, and actual sockets (including USB) by the bed.

The wifi just flat out didn't reach the third floor. When I complained, they gave me access to the staff wifi, which just barely reached sometimes. If you can manage on your phone, fine, but that's not enough for me, and this just didn't work. The other downside is that the Belmont, while charming in itself, is at the tacky end of Llandudno beach, near the pier.

While admitting that the location is among the best in Llaundudno, the rooms and cleanliness are impossible. We stayed 2 nights and they never cleaned the bathroom, the bed they only lifted the blankets. The rooms are not soundproofed, so at night you hear the television in the next room. Terrible experience.

some lovely little touches like the eye mask, ear plugs, shower cap, bath safety mat, elemis products, coppers for slot machines, binoculars. suggest that as there is a mini fridge in the room that a small carton of milk could be provided instead of the sachets which are never enough.

unfortunately there was a layer of dust on the coffee machine, kettle and phone which was very noticable. this lead to us looking closer and top of the tv and top of headboard plus bin in bathroom also covered in dust. the carpets in the two rooms we had 303 and 305 were very worn and shoddy.

Beautiful location and hotel. Perfectly located over the road from the pier. The entrance to the hotel is very nice too. Booked in on tablet and staff behind bar if you need anything.

The cleanliness of the shower room wasn't great. The shower could of done with a good scrub. The bed was very uncomfortable too. I didn't sleep very well. Very lumpy and you could see the dips in the sheets where the mattress sunk.

A great location and lovely hotel with some nice touches which were very welcome. Terrace was a bonus with views over the bay. Close to town and easy walk to pier and promenade. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Really excellent location at the pier end of the promenade. My friend and I both got single rooms and we appreciated that the Belmont had smaller room available as we were only going to be there for a short time. Staff were friendly and the bathrooms/showers were really well laid out. The complimentary elemis shower products were also very nice. The proximity to Great Orme was great and there were a number of nice pubs and restaurants nearby.

My single room was extremely small and warm and had I been staying for more than a single night, I think this would have been an issue. My friend's single was a much more reasonable size so it may be that I just got unlucky. Still, you get what you pay for and the price overall was quiet reasonable so I can't complain!

The location is great - really central to everything, and gorgeous sea views.

It was unclean in places, and there was visible dust around the door frames and bedside tables. The bar drinks were quite expensive. Cocktails came from a can - could’ve got the same thing from supermarket. We’ve stayed here a couple of times, but this place has gone down since our last stay despite the price increase. Unfortunately, the staff were not as friendly as our previous visit.

Fantastic location. Exceptionally friendly staff. A special shout out to Paul, on the afternoon/ evening shift. He simply went above and beyond , was always very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us.

The rear view rooms desperately need air conditioning as were stifling and unbearable at night. You cannot open the window more than the health and safety 2 inches. Even with a fan it was suffocating at night. The grouting in the shower was full of black grime and it was all a bit crammed despite being called and paying more for a superior rear room.

Perfect location overlooking the pier and sea and on the sunny side of the street. Very clean room with modern styling artfully decorated , Lovely staff and very pleasant owner/manager, excellent breakfast with opportunity to sit on seafront facing outside terrace and enjoy the sun Mr Seagull gave us a visit on his favourite perch outside our window. ( he's a regular apparently )

Just returned from this lovely hotel. We had 2 rooms 1 x single and 1 x double, the only down size of the standard double is that the bed looks like it could be a 3/4 bed but it was very comfortable and clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly. On street parking with a blue badge is free and I managed to find a place very close to hotel for the full stay of 2 days. We didnt have breakfast but people were saying that the food is lovely. Excellent location stunning views, would definitely go back

We recently enjoyed a weekend stay at The Belmont Llandudno, and it was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is immaculate throughout, beautifully maintained, and in a perfect position right on the seafront. Our front-facing bedrooms offered stunning views — a real highlight each morning. Breakfast was excellent, with high‑quality food and attentive service. However, what truly set The Belmont apart was the outstanding staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely professional. Their kindness made a huge difference to our stay. We travelled with our 81‑year‑old mum, who uses a wheelchair, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They were thoughtful, patient, and proactive in making sure she was comfortable and able to enjoy her stay fully. The hotel does not have any parking but we didn't have any problem finding a parking space in a side street. The lift is very small so we were able to leave my Moms wheelchair downstairs, this was not a problem for us as we had brought my Moms walker. The Belmont Llandudno is an exceptional hotel, and we would highly recommend it. We look forward to returning.
