Pur avendo fatto il check in on line (inclusa la scansione del documento), che mi avrebbe dovuto permettere di ritirare solo la chiave all'arrivo, ho dovuto rifare tutta la trafila comunque. Al momento del check out sono stata bellamente ignorata dai tre receptionist, uno dei quali ha fatto passare avanti due persone.

Right next to Aldgate and City, the location is ideal, the staff were friendly and the hotel had plenty to do inside, such as a rooftop and a restaurant downstairs.

Bathrooms did not had anything separating shower from toilet, which means it gets quite wet in there. The room is a tad small.

Location was perfect. And the staff on the checkout was super helpful.

When we arrived, even though we booked a normal room, we were asked if it would be OK that they give us a room for people who have special needs (disability with walking). We had no previous experience with such accommodation and asked what was the difference. The lady at the checkin said that the bed is lower, and nothing else is different. She added that she was placed in one such room upon arrival and was very satisfied. So, we took it. Unfirtunately, the bed is not the only difference. In the shower, there are no doors and no shower tub, one stands on the floor directly, and the floor is not tilted at all. As a consequence, the floor of the bathroom is completely flooded after the shower. You literaly cannot enter it in shoes or slippers or socks, only barefeet. So we had to use all towels to dry the floor to be able to walk on it. I would have liked not to be forced to wipe the bathroom floors each day on my vacation. And it would have been nice of the lady at the checkin to be more honest. I don't understand what was her thought process. Did she think we won't notice the flooded tiles? Likewise, overbooking the rooms should really not be pushed onto the customers, especially without any compensation. I will not be staying here again.

The second room we had was excellent in terms of size and facilities. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were helpful as could be.

Unhappy that having paid back in March, the equivalent rate for the room booked was now way lower. We originally booked a suite but were provided with a lower category room. We only realised this once we asked for a statement as we thought the breakfast was to be included. One of the managers was very helpful and moved us to the correct room for the second night and provided a complimentary breakfast and a £50 credit. The breakfast was not very pleasant. The worst element was the aircon in both rooms which was permanently set to a freezing temperature. We literally had to sleep with extra clothes on as nobody could resolve the problem.

The staff at the reception is welcoming and very helpful. Dovile welcomed me, gave me a complimentary room upgrade. I had forgotten my UK plug adapter, but I could borrow one from her. The room was comfortable, with a very comfy bed, and a nice view. The location is very well served by public transport, and there are plenty of shops near the hotel. I wish I had spent another couple of nights there.

Our suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were consistently courteous and helpful throughout our stay. We also highly appreciated the excellent location and breakfast. When we raised a concern regarding noise issues, the hotel manager was incredibly attentive, listened to our feedback, and kindly offered a discount to make things right. Outstanding service recovery!

Unfortunately, we experienced noticeable noise coming from below the suite between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Because of this early morning disruption, the hotel might want to consider repurposing this specific space into a gym, staff meeting room, or break room instead of using it as a guest suite.

Wir kamen in der Unterkunft an und erhielten ein kleines Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Uns wurde jedoch im Voraus per E-Mail ausdrücklich bestätigt, dass wir ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und Aussicht erhalten würden. Dabei wurde uns sogar mitgeteilt, dass dies kein Problem sei. Aufgrund dieser schriftlichen Bestätigung haben wir darauf vertraut und keine andere Zimmeroption gebucht. Wenn uns etwas bereits per E-Mail bestätigt wird, gehen wir selbstverständlich davon aus, dass diese Vereinbarung auch eingehalten wird. Leider war dies nicht das einzige Problem. Als wir am ersten Tag duschten, kam es zu einer starken Wasserüberflutung im Badezimmer. Wir konnten die Dusche nicht sofort verlassen, da sonst noch mehr Wasser auf den Boden gelaufen wäre. Trotz längeren Wartens trat weiterhin Wasser aus, sodass schließlich das gesamte Badezimmer bzw. WC nass war. Daraufhin musste ein Sanitärtechniker kommen. Dieser stellte fest, dass die Toilette bzw. die Abwasserleitung stark verstopft war. Für uns ist es unverständlich, dass dies vor der Übergabe des Zimmers nicht kontrolliert wurde. Gerade bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten wir, dass sowohl die Hygiene als auch der einwandfreie Zustand des Badezimmers vor der Ankunft der Gäste überprüft werden. Durch dieses Problem haben wir fast zwei Stunden verloren. Da wir nur drei Tage in London waren und unseren Aufenthalt entsprechend geplant hatten, war dieser Zeitverlust für uns besonders ärgerlich und hat unsere Tagesplanung erheblich beeinträchtigt. Zusätzlich fehlten grundlegende Pflege- und Hygieneartikel wie Zahnbürsten sowie Hausschuhe. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hätten wir einen entsprechenden Service und eine angemessene Ausstattung erwartet. Stattdessen mussten wir verschiedene Dinge einzeln anfragen. Insgesamt haben wir für diesen Aufenthalt einen sehr hohen Preis bezahlt. Leider entsprach die erhaltene Leistung weder unseren Erwartungen noch dem Preis oder dem Standard, den wir von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten.

Room was lovely, staff amazing, however I think the price of £234 for 1 night without breakfast was excessive. No USB plugs for charging phone and watch.

Clean and centrally located

The attendant who worked over night on 9/7/2026 would not help me warm my food up. I got in late from the airport because my flight had been delayed and I had food that I would’ve loved to have warmed up and eaten. However, the attended at the front desk when I went down, said that the kitchen was closed and he couldn’t let me use the microwave. I have stated various hotels that let me use the microwave at any time of the night. I feel as though to make my stay more comfortable to accommodate me, he could’ve so easily opened the kitchen. Let me warm my food up for two minutes. Not going this extra mile affects how I feel about this hotel and how I feel about the hotel staff and it just didn’t make my experience one that I had helped for.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel offered excellent value for money, and the location close to the train station was a major advantage. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated being able to check in a little earlier than expected.

The room service was top notch The rooms were cleaned everyday They gave us water bottles all day The location is nice, it has the metro 1 min walk But the metro isnt really THAT central but it is very nice! The neighborhood was pretty quiet especially when talking about london. 10 min walk to the tower bridge (amazing) I felt super safe to be in this hotel and it was very luxurious hotel! Had a blast!

The location isnt that good but its 30 min ride in metro to most of the locations, its fine and goes by quickly but atleast the metro station is 1 min walk.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick und das Hotel liegt sehr gut. Die Betten waren super bequem.

Leider war ein früher Check in nicht möglich, obwohl es kostenpflichtig angeboten wird. Die Ausstattung ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Und es gibt nur eine Schiebetür zum Bad, die sich nicht richtig schließen lässt und zudem noch leicht durchsichtig ist. Man hat also Null Privatsphäre.

Nice view from the room, got upgraded for free to an executive room, superb view from the rooftop bar. Hotel is outside Aldgate tube station so very convenient.

Check out is at 11 am instead of the usual 12.

Hello! I stayed at this hotel for four days in August 2026, and first of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to a receptionist named Dovile. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. Dovile took my request into consideration and gave me a room on the eighth floor with a beautiful view of the London skyline and a church. The view from the window was truly magnificent! She also explained in detail where the nearby shops were, how to use public transport, and how to reach all the tourist attractions I wanted to visit. In addition, Dovile helped me print some documents that I urgently needed in paper form. She is a true professional and has all the qualities required to work at a hotel reception. Many thanks to her for her attention, kindness, and assistance! As a frequent traveller, I would also like to highlight the quality of the hotel itself. The shower maintained a stable water temperature and consistent pressure, which, unfortunately, is quite rare in such large hotels. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The bed linen was clean, and the towels were fresh and not worn out. The mattress was medium-firm—neither too soft nor too hard—and was very comfortable to sleep on. I believe it would suit most guests. Overall, this is a very good and comfortable hotel. As a traveller who has stayed in hotels in almost every European capital, I confidently give this hotel a rating of 9 out of 10! Special thanks to all the reception staff for their assistance, and especially to the wonderful Dovile!

Excellent location!

There was a lot wrong during this stay which wasn’t our experience before. The aircon didn’t work in our room and the toilet didn’t flush at first. We were then moved to a different room but there the only way to turn the light on in the bathroom was to turn all the lights on. The staff tried to help but given we’d been travelling all day it was really stressful and the compensation was a bit half-hearted. We were told someone would be in touch about a voucher or something but that didn’t happen.

This was the third time I’d booked a stay at this hotel. Fortunately, I wasn’t disappointed this time either: the hotel really values its returning guests and treats them to special surprises. I’d like to thank the management once again for this gesture! The Leonardo Hotel will definitely be my first choice next time too – that’s for sure. The rooms on the upper floors are lovely, clean and very well-equipped. The Junior Suite is a particularly good option and we were very pleased with it. The accommodation is easy and quick to get to and is just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge, so the location is excellent; it’s also very easy to reach by Underground.

What I need to mention relates mainly to the receptionists and is not a general staff issue. I don’t really understand why, but based on my third stay here (and numerous interactions, or times spent in the lobby), they are, without exception, always bored and carry out their work without a single friendly smile. In fact, they barely bother to look up from the desk, and you almost feel as though you’re an unwelcome guest there. It’s all the more strange because, given the standard of a hotel like this and the fact that it’s the first point of contact for guests, I’d think it would be the exact opposite. Regardless of all this, I’d recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to explore London’s sights whilst staying in a pleasant place that’s still easily accessible.

Locatie fabuloasa, imediat langa metrou si autobuz, la distanta foarte mica de Tower Bridge si Tower of London. Acces facil la punctele de interes din zona. Hotelul este linistit, accesul cu liftul a fost foarte permanent asigurat, nu au existat incidente (alti turisti au mentionat un bar la ultimul etaj, dar nu am resimtit niciun disconfort in legatura cu acesta). Camera curata si dotata conform celor 4 stele, izolare fonica buna. Nu am luat micul dejun la hotel, deci nu putem evalua acest aspect. Am ajuns inainte de intervalul de check in dar au fost facute imediat formalitatile de pre-check-in, am fost anuntati prin mesaj cand a fost gata camera (cu 2 ore mai repede decat credeam) si totul a mers foarte repede desi in zona receptiei parea sa fie mai multi turisti inaintea noastra. Staff foarte prietenos! Raport pret-calitate excelent!

Nu avem observatii negative. Poate unii turisti nu sunt multumiti daca geamul de la camera nu se deschide, dar noi am preferat fereastra mare cu lumina naturala mai multa, iar sistemul de AC/ventilatie a fost in regula. Mentionez ca am stat in camera King, fara balcon.

The staff were lovely & Very welcoming. The whole hotel was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. The champagne on arrival was such a lovely touch.

The pillows were very firm which resulted in a stiff neck & The doors slam so that’s what would wake us up in the morning with other visitors not holding the door to close it softly. Maybe some soft closing latches would help. The cleaners hanging around on our floor level felt a little intimidating. my husband said we didn’t need the room cleaned when they asked him but as soon as we left the room they have went in and cleaned it after being told no. Not so much as a dislike but it would be lovely for visitors who have paid for breakfast with the stay to have the option to have it in bed.

When we did our pre check in the person clearly wasn’t in a good mood. He wasn’t friendly and inviting. But the rest of the staff was friendly when we did the check in and when we did the check out.

La posizione comodissima per raggiungere a piedi London Bridge, tower of London, the Monument, Horizont 22, Sky garden e poi la alla stazione metro Aldgate che collega le più importanti linee di Londra.

Che per due volte le cameriere non hanno fatto le pulizie in camera. Lo abbiamo segnalata in struttura e lo Staff è stato gentile.

Location on the doorstep of Aldgate station was perfect, we left our bags early in the day, staff attentive, kind and efficient . Check in ...one of our rooms wasn't quite ready, we were taken into the restaurant a glass of Prosecco offered and within minutes the room was ready! Rooms perfect , clean and a great view of the skyline including the iconic Gherkin. A great experience from reception to security staff only to be expected as I usually choose Leonardo all over the Uk . Only negative stay wasn't longer !!

Kedves személyzet, Donile a recepción nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Előbb érkeztünk a szállásra csak a táskáinkat szerettük volna letenni de el is foglalhattuk a szobánkat ami nagy könnyebbséget jelentett. A kilátásunk a szobából tökéletes volt. A hotel a központban volt, tower bridge 10 perc séta, metrómegálló közvetlen a hotel mellett. Mindennel megvagyunk elégedve, legközelebb ezt a hotelt fogjuk választani.

Perfect location next to Aldgate tube station. Staff were unbelievably attentive, polite and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything in it that I needed. Breakfast was superb, self service cereal and pastries and table service for the cooked section. I ordered a full English, I had a beautiful plate of food with perfect poached eggs.

There is nothing to not like. Trying to think of something to be a fault with and I really can’t.

We were upgraded to a suite, however it was right below the DJ on the 14th floor and we could hear this on the Saturday night until 2pm.
