The horible smell in the hall way by the room entrance The bed was sinking in the middle mad for bad sleep

Love how it kept some of the history sentimental things of the property, since it use to be a railway station and how close it is to the Spark Arena - the room was cosy loved the bed was comfortable and modern bathroom and how I could sync my apps eg: Netflix YouTube and Spotify to the tv - I was never bored - loved how it had a mini fridge freezer - I would definitely book here again

Didn’t like that I couldn’t open the windows due to my height but did get one of the cleaning staff to open my bedroom one I couldn’t open the bathroom one it felt stuck when trying to pull the string I was not shown how to open it when I arrived when I was shown to my room - cleaning staff may need to brush up on English - I’m not trying to be nasty she was lovely the female cleaning staff but she barely knew any English as I tried to ask her so had to use use one English word at a time to make her understand what I was wanting

It's an easy walk to downtown or to the university.

The noise from renovation work was extreme for an hour or so.

Water temp in shower exceedingly hot. Might need to reduce the temperature. The dishwashing soap did not soap to clean the dishes and the dispenser in the shower did not work. Just an observation not a criticism

The room is spacious with ever thing you need for living. The bathroom is modern with a great shower and the beds are pretty Comfey

In the evening in particular there is the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. It can be quite strong at times even with the fan on

A little out of the CBD. Lots of banging in the room next door to me at 1130pm on the 2nd and 3rd last night of my stay

The bed was comfortable and appeared clean It has a heat pump and electric blankets which was a welcome touch The staff at front desk were helpful So so close to Spark Arena gutted the concert was cancelled Close parking Friendly housekeeping lady refreshing towels etc around lunchtime

The curtains are dirty The windows are dirty The carpet has stains We got locked out of the bathroom and had to get the staff member to unlock it somehow The tv only had Freeview It mentioned a minibar but the fridge was empty The lamps were dirty and had seen better days The paint in the room was rough The inner courtyard view we had to block with the curtains as it was really sad The room was quite far away from lobby had to walk through a huge communal space that had a heavy curry smell and past a room that smelt and had the door open The place had a strange unsafe feel to it Had prepaid room and still had to pay another fee just incase of damage but the room was fairly low budget and run down anyway

Literally right next to Spark Arena 😊 and our room was very spacious and tidy. The lady (I think Ivy) was very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Our room was next to the railway and you can here it at night and so sleeping was a struggle. One night, There was a kid too running back and forth at 10:30pm and it echoes in the hallway and building.

It was the perfect location to spark arena and I had parking right outside the door, the lady on reception was super nice. My room was very clean and it had tea/coffee and good basic amenities.

Don't go in expecting it to be like a nice hotel and you won't be disappointed.

Great service and comfort as always, even when the Indian prime minister was holding a massive gathering at Spark Arena next door! Thanks manager Ivy for giving up her parking space for me. Much appreciated.

TV reception was terrible. Only one channel ok and even that kept cutting out. Noisy with train line across the road.

Great location. Literally next door to Spark Arena. Great carparking out the front. Spacious room. Comfy large bed. Nice toiletries. Spacious bathroom. Ample tea, coffee etc sachets. The reception lady was pleasant & helpful.

The walls could do with a good wipe & vacuum under the beds.

Beautiful old building (ex Auckland Railway Station) converted to accommodation. Room was pleasant enough, decent size with small table and little kitchenette with microwave etc. Host was lovely and showed us personally to our room. Right next door to Spark Arena and 10 min walk to Britomart. Very handy with easy parking onsite.

Clean and tidy , bathroom modern clean great water pressure and temperature, friendly staff, great sized room close location for the lower city. Great use of beautiful old building only stayed the one night so was unable to check out the whole place lol forward to another staycation.

For me the bed was bit lumpy but the other half said it was good. Storage of trains means you will hear shunting at times,

They were so accomodating! Our flight was in the afternoon and they worked with us and gave us a later check out. Staff were super friendly. Location was super convenient to spark arena and the inner city bus stop. The showers are really high pressure. Electric blankets were such a good touch and the room had plenty of power points. The building itself is really cool. Will stay again!

No cooking amenities in the room we stayed in but there was a communal kitchen. The peep hole had no cover on it but we easily covered it up.

Room was clean, spacious and warm. Good WiFi connection. Able to open windows for fresh air. Nights are quiet.

My bed needs an update. It was comfortable enough but would have been awful to sleep in as a couple (severe dip in centre). Did not realise that trains would go past right outside every 5min. Might want to use earplugs if light sleeper.

Comfortable bed with bathroom. Tiled floor going through to the bathroom with a slight elevation between the tiled room and the bathroom but a "watch your step" warning has been put in place which is good for safety so no trip hazard. Good location not too far from the main areas in the CBD. Fairly quiet area overall compared to staying closer to a noisier Queen Street. Stayed here before and would again.

The room/bathroom needs a bit of love due to wear and tear. Behind the shower between the shower and the wall was a big gap which definitely needed a clean/wipe. Skirting boards also need updating in the room/s as were pretty rough

Everything was spotless. The bedding, carpets, towels, bathroom sinks, shower, and toilets were all immaculate. Your cleaners did an outstanding job. The location and parking near Spark Arena were perfect. I’ll definitely be back when there are more concerts I want to attend.

The pillows are okay, but the mattress is just average. I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. The late check-out time of 12 PM is too short.

It was quite a spacious room, with a comfortable bed and the basic kitchen supplies. The bathroom was also nice, small but decent and the water pressure from the shower is amazing. I didn’t realise but they also have little body wash and face wash bottles for the guests which comes in handy if you don’t bring any yourself. The hotel is also a few steps from the nearby Spark Arena venue which was amazing to discover, we were expecting to walk a lot further than we did but it’s only a few steps away!

My only concern I’d say was that our room was a little of a longer walk from the lobby, and us being two paranoid girls at night, it was kinda scary getting to the room late at night. However nothing happened, which is good. It was also a little noisy because of the nearby trains starting up in the morning, but not too much of a problem.

Was heavily stained carpets room and found a cockroach jump out from bed side table right as was packing to leave

I loved the free room upgrade from double to king studio. The staff was nice on check in. Fast and easy check in. The room size was amazing. The bathroom Bed was clean. Everything was spot on! Location was spot on. Pillows so comfy. So spacious. Absolutely amazing! Would stay here again. Its worth every cent. It's affordable but luxury above and beyond what I paid.
