A lovely room with well thought-out décor and a DAB radio - essential for Heart Dance!! The hostess was so polite and welcoming including at breakfast time. The breakfast was very nice and, like the rooms, the décor in the eating area was excellent.

There's only a vanity sink in the bathroom not a full size one which was a problem as I like to wet-shave and the mixer tap got in the way of me getting my face close to the bowl.

Amazing room, owners so friendly and engaging. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

We booked the Driftwood for a wedding that we were attending. Superb property, rooms were fantastic. Decor was on point! Very comfortable stay. Everything was pristine. When booking the property, I’d messaged in advance to see if we could check in early. They said they could get one room ready early( we had three rooms) On arrival which was three hours before check in, they had got all three rooms ready for us. Which was fantastic. Superb hosts, we were really looked after. Breakfast was a solid 10

Only negative if I really had to find something, was parking was a slight issue. We were lucky enough to get parked right outside, but spots filled up pretty quickly. Plus the hotel gave us a free parking permit for our stay. Which was a bonus.

The room was excellent, very comfortable and well appointed, although a chair would have been nice to sit, rather than just the bed There was a fantastic selection of possible breakfasts and excellently cooked The B&B was really central for restaurants, local amenities, buses and station - we did not have to move the car once parked The landlord provided parking permits for the local roads which was a real benefit

The greeting here is perfect, family run business that really puts guests at the heart of their business, the rooms are amazing, everything is catered for, clean, so well dressed, comfort at its best, gorgeous bathrooms with equally gorgeous toiletries, then after sleeping on your personal cloud you are lucky enough to be served a perfect breakfast, this place is a gem, I’ve stayed here a few times now and it gets better and better

We really enjoyed our stay at the driftwood I was impressed how clean it was great decor. The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly I would recommended and stay at the driftwood..I hope to return soon.

Could park outside for a few hours to check in then needed to find a space which was further way . But we were given a permit by the hotel so it was free and want a problem for us as the rest of our stay was so very good

It was a little oasis, beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and the location meant it was a short walk to the Del A Warr Pavilion for us.

This was our first time in Bexhill and the Driftwood hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Lee and Greg are fantastic hosts, very friendly and their breakfasts are amazing. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Thank you very much to both of them.

Lovely hosts and exceptional room (number 2) with great facilities. The breakfast was of a high standard. The location is near the sea front and just a 5 - 10 mins walk from / to the station and local shops. Great base from where to explore other coastal places and historic locations.

The window blinds did not work or were set to limit use.

Everything - exceptional quality throughout. Fixtures, fittings, accessories, food, linen. Couldn’t find a speck of dust or cobweb anywhere. I am very well travel but this is the best hotel I have stayed in.

Stairs. I am wearing a leg brace and there is no lift.

The room we stayed in was beautiful. Lots of lovely touches, including 3 fans, which was brilliant, given the heatwave. The room overlooked the garden, which was very pretty at night. Windows so sound proof the seagulls didn’t wake us, and the blind so blackout we didn’t know it was morning. Bathroom newly furnished. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious. Even cold beers in the fridge on our arrival.

Fantastic little hotel. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient, the room was beautiful and had everything in there that we could have wanted. The breakfast was amazing as was the location. We would definitely stay there again.

Our room was at the back and it was quite noisy in the mornings. Not much to do around, high street like many others seems struggling.

As a single occupant I felt very secure. The whole place is gorgeous and very welcoming. The staff couldn't help enough. I really enjoyed my stay, bedroom was beautifully decorated with lovely touches from toiletries to refreshments.

Check in was simple, easy and meet with a smile. The rooms are well equipped with everything needed for a stay and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was top quality with a nice selection for every taste. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and easy going. Well done and we will definitely return to The Driftwood.

Bexhill itself has seen better days but we would highly recommend the Driftwood.

The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained to a high standard, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant visit. It’s clear that great care is taken to ensure guests feel valued and looked after, and Greg & Lee could not have been more welcoming from the moment we arrived.

Bed was a bit too firm for us but that's our personal taste.

The location was fantastic less than a minute’s walk from the seafront. The room decor was elegant and cosy and kept in immaculate condition. Owners very friendly and the full English breakfast in the morning very nicely done. Highly recommended.

The view was not that good but didn’t matter as so close to the sea

The interiors were beautiful and it was so clean! And the welcome was so lovely. The breakfast was fantastic. It honestly was a perfect stay! The added bonus is that it is a stroll away from the sea front, what more can you need?

Although it looks a little lost on the high street the interiors instantly take you away from the noise and you feel transported. It’s a perfect little address if you’re visiting the area or down for a Wedding/event.

Incredibly comfortable room- quiet warm and great location. Really comfy big bed. A very short walk to the seafront and to a local pub and supermarket. The breakfast options were great- really high quality ingredients and a delicious start to the day. The owners were incredibly accommodating and kind.

Everything! The location for The De la Warr Pavilion was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and Greg and his wife friendly. Breakfast was superb and even gave my husband a lesson on how to poach the perfect egg😂

A very clean, comfortable, well equipped room and very nice staff. The shower is amazing, the bed warm and comfortable and breakfast was good. (I prefer less crispy bacon)

Lovely hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. The room was decorated beautifully, and absolutely immaculate. Tea and coffee supplies ready in the room and mini fridge which was great. Bathroom was extremely clean and a lovely good size shower. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and checkout at 11am is great so there is no rush to pack and leave as soon as you get up. Would definitely stay again if I was coming to the area, and can recommend to others. Great location for seeing a show at the DeLaWarr as only a few minutes walk away and plenty of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

The feel of Driftwood, very friendly owners and quiet at breakfast, no music!

Having to park on the road is always a bit of a worry but it could'nt be avoided.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accomodated all our demands with no fuss. The rooms were recently refurbished, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent with a wide choice of options available. The location was very central, near the seafront parade and the excellent de la Warr pavillion.

An exceptionally clean room with a well appointed shower room and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was also extremely good with a good choice on the menu.

Nothing to dislike, in my view.
