Reviewed Sep 10, 2026A acomodação é como nas fotos. O jardim é maravilhoso, o quarto é grande, piso aquecido, café da manhã bom. A roupa de cama bem cheirosa. Localizado num bairro de mansões, seguro e perto do shopping. No verão acredito que se queira passar o dia todo.
Não tem blackout e a descarga não funciona muito bem.

No food. Breakfast was really poor, no dinner and not even fruits or snacks offered, told to order using Uber Eats- which is really not a good look for a place of such class.

De não ter funcionário a noite toda , eles chegam a 7 :00da manhã, eu eu precisei de assistência as 6:20, por meu passaporte estar no cofre, e houve um problema de eu n conseguir abrir, e precisava estar com tudo organizado para ir para o aeroporto às 7:00

You need to book your dinner in advance, else your only option is to order takeout through a delivery app. There was a large spider in my room, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast offering and setup needs improvement. The isolation and the door for our room was not good, we were in room 3 and could hear every conversation in the corridor and people walking around on the ground floor. Cleanliness needs to improve, especially the corners and most of the furniture has had better days.

From the moment you arrive and ascend the elegant marble stair, you are welcomed into a world of timeless beauty and understated luxury. The interiors are absolutely stunning, the rooms are spacious and impeccably appointed, and every comfort has been thoughtfully considered. One particularly delightful touch was the underfloor heating in the bathroom—a small luxury that made a memorable difference. The true highlight, however, is the breathtaking garden. Beautifully maintained and utterly tranquil, it is a place that genuinely stirs the soul and invites you to slow down and savour the surroundings. Every aspect of our stay was a delight. Hoëveld House is a hidden gem that we would recommend without hesitation and look forward to visiting again. :::

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026The dinner was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The property's gardens are gorgeous and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Bathrooms are spotless and there is plenty of hot water.
There aren't many staff and for long periods, nobody was around. This led us to feeling that the property is not quite a hotel and not quite a private house ... it was a little odd.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026We have spent two wonderful nights at the Hoeveled House. It is a beautiful property with a huge garden and pool. The rooms are spacious beautifully decorated! We booked it with the breakfast which was 10/10. All the people were very friendly and forthcoming. On the day of departure we were granted a late check-out which we highly appreciate! We will definitely be back and can fully recommend to stay here!

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Very nice hotel/guest house with a huge garden and pool. They didn’t have many rooms, so everything was calm and tranquil. We loved the style of the hotel and the garden especially. You hear the birds sing and can just enjoy and relax. The location is approximately 10 min by Uber from Sandton mall/Nelson Mandela square and Rosebank. You will get an Uber in minutes, very easy. Breakfast menu was not big, but good. And if you have special request they will try to help you. We didn’t. We stayed in a room next to the pool. The room was big and had everything we needed. But it would have been nice with two chairs and a coffee table on the terrace outside the room. We would also like to have a trash can in the room. There is only a small one in the toilet. The water pressure in the shower was also not very good, but not a big problem. My husband had birthday while we were there. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, which they didn’t charge us for. The day we left we checked out in the morning, but the hotel let us shower in an available room in the evening before we left for our late flight home. We appreciated the extra service a lot and were very pleased with our stay. The staff was generally very lovely. Especially the guards at the entrance. We would absolutely recommend this place!
Didn’t dislike anything, but chairs and table outside the room, trash can in the room and better water pressure would improve the impression.

Only improvement could have been a little better designed wardrobe storage and the room safe could have been a little higher. As you get older it is a little difficult to use a low lying safe.
