Everything, stunning throughout and the staff were extremely accommodating
Having to leave
Fantastic hotel . Superb friendly staff . Great city center location
Prices a bit steep , but it is a city center hotel so it is what it is
Brilliant location with lovely rooms and facilities

The breakfast was nice and hot and every ingredient was tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient. The tables were a little close together so as a larger person I found it difficult to navigate the breakfast room without bumping into other tables.
Low light levels. There was a bit of a delay with lights switching on in the corridors.
Everything, rooms was amazing, staff incredibly polite and helpful. Cannot fault it.
Nothing.
Cozy hotel room and bed. Good location. Nice staff
The hotel is modern and clean and a great location

I have stayed at Dakota three times, and the service has always been amazing. I stayed in different types of rooms and you don’t get treated any differently regardless. Exceptional staff! Not to mention the decor is amazing, I always sleep well there! Food is a must try and the cocktails in the bar if you get the chance (Summer breeze has been a favourite of ours)! Housekeeping are also excellent, never noticed a fault!
Beautiful hotel staff were amazing.
Beautiful hotel, great location. Perfect for business travel and personal / social travel.

nice and cosy
there were a few marks and some spaces quite dusty
The hotel has a low light, goth type of aesthetic with the low moody light. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this hotel as it's different to the others. The pillows were really nice and comfortable, wasn't flat at all and this was appreciated. I stayed for one night but honestly I could have stayed for a few more nights. The bed was incredibly comfortable and all the essentials were provided. You could turn on the shower and adjust the temperature as you are out of the shower which is a nice touch so you aren't blasted with cold water when you turn it on like the traditional showers. Walking distance from the city, around 2-5 minutes walk and everything is there. This was mainly the reason why I booked this hotel, as it was in the city centre.
The only things I didn't like was the dust in the room I was allocated and the duvet. My room allocation seemed like it hadn't been used for a while so the bed was incredibly dusty for a short while. I looked under the duvet with the light on and you can see that there are yellow patches / stains all over the duvet. It may be time for new duvets.
The location is excellent. The hotel vibe is relaxing. The room was quiet and well equipped. The bed was comfortable.

Basic
Bed was comfy and staff seemed friendly. Size of the room was also reasonable.
Discovered once in the shower that the toiletries were half empty and had already been used which made me uncomfortable about the cleanliness. Slippers and robes were only available on request. Hotel was extremely dark and there was no option for room service breakfast.
Location and room
Air conditioning was noisy, balcony door did not lock, staff were overly talkative to a point of rudeness where we wanted to tell them to leave us alone. We are not Americans, we don’t want to tell you all our plans and life story. Having to pay a £50 deposit after already spending £250 on the room.
Location the rooms was lovely and cosy well decorated. Felt relaxed the minute you walked back into the room.
Nothing
good ambience, clean and decent location although parking is a bit of an issue.
double beds felt a little too small. no dental packs in the rooms. some lights weren't working in the corridor. Breakfast was nice but a little slow and service was average.
Close proximity to the railway station. Very helpful staff.
My evening meal was not as good as I had hoped but breakfast was fine.
Property very well kept and clean
The parking needs to be a lot better and it is annoying that once they have taken your car you can’t have car back to go anywhere.
Service great. Decor and comfort levels fantastic
Didn’t get to stay longer
I always stay at the Dakota Leeds when i have buisness appointments and travel as a solo female it has everything i need and staff are great nothing is to much trouble 5 star and highly recommend will see you soon Dakota Leeds
Nothing it has everything you need and city is right there
nice location and very friendly team
no fridge in the room
Ideal location, excellent staff
Lack of useful parking made it tricky within one-way system
Overall, it was a good hotel with a luxurious feel and solid customer service.
The bed comfort were quite average. I was also surprised that there was no fridge in the room, which I would expect from a hotel of this standard.
Tutto, dall’accoglienza alla struttura alla stanza

Lovely hotel in a great location
Breakfast was poor lacked choice
The location and the aesthetics The chap front of house was the best l
The customer service was poor, food was expensive but tasted bland. Our key card didn’t work, room service was terrible and the tv didn’t work It was just a poor experience due to lack of customer service
Amazing hotel and location. Staff were very helpful

Had to leave early to catch a flight from Leeds Bradford airport so missed breakfast and more time to spend in a luxury room
Just Excellent
The room was fantastic with enormous, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great quality and brilliant service.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The valet service was excellent, and the valet attendant was very professional, respectful and helpful throughout my stay.
The cleanliness of the room was disappointing, especially considering the price I paid. There was mould around the bathroom tap, the tables were dusty, and the hairdryer had someone’s fake eyelashes left on it. I have photographs of these issues. As it was my anniversary, I also paid an additional £25 for roses to be placed on the bed. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the amount of roses provided and the way they were presented. I did not feel that this was worth the extra £25 and, honestly, felt ripped off. I paid almost £300 for one night, so I expected a much higher standard, particularly from a hotel of this level. Overall, the cleanliness and anniversary arrangement were not acceptable for the price I paid.
Generous room size, decor and location. Great bar. Valet parking.

Location , staff and all round excellence.
We chose to pass on breakfast at £24 per head
Friendly staff, and overall just a very nice hotel and room.

3am food deliveries. Our room was on the first floor the van parked directly outside and we was woken and kept awake until 4 with the delivery guys off loading etc. sound proof windows are definitely needed. It’s the worst night sleep I had for a while
every detail was perfection
i loved it all
Room was superb and the staff really couldn’t do enough for us The bar area was very comfortable The location was fantastic

Great location, very close to railway station and town centre but in a vey quiet location down a side street
Absolutely everything from start to finish. Stunning hotel and staff.
Great location, hotel immaculate
Not sure a £50 deposit is necessary
La ubicación, el hotel perfectamente decorado y confortable de no muchas habitaciones
La habitación un poco pequeña
We always love what the Dakota has to offer. It's comfort, friendly staffs location to all amenities, the food, the decor, to name but a few.
Met my needs as a lone traveller
Like many new hotels felt a bit characterless
قربه من جميع الأماكن
الغرف مظلمه جدا
Location perfect, great staff, most comfortable room for a goodnight sleep & breakfast superb.
Bed was a bit soft for my liking
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, everything good, cooked breakfast i thought personally was a disappointment, when you have a tomato and black pudding you struggle to even cut through and the sausage has never seen a butchers..! Call me picky but for the cost should be better. Great service though from the really nice staff. Thank you.
Lovely rooms, very luxurious, Loved the gym reductions!
A little bit dark!
Friendly staff, immaculate hotel in all areas.
Nothing.
Couldn't fault apart from a fingernail laid in the middle of the freshly made bed. Apart from that room was lovely Service was brilliant Breakfast was superb And valet service was 2nd to none
Apart from the fingernail on the bed no issues
Location is amazing, staff were so attentive
Recently visited Leeds at then end of July and spent one night in the Dakota. From the moment we walked into the foyer we could feel the warm atmosphere and welcome. The team working in the restaurant and during breakfast the next morning, were second to none. Our every request was treated with efficiency and the food was delicious. A special thanks to the following, Carla - Reception, Adelaide - Grill, Will & Dexter - Bar. I would highly recommend staying in the Dakota and looking forward to our next visit.
An exceptionally luxurious stay in the heart of Leeds, just a short walk from the train station. The hotel combines elegance and comfort beautifully, with impeccable cleanliness throughout. The staff were excellent — professional, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was outstanding, and we also really enjoyed the bar service. Everything contributed to a very comfortable and refined experience. A wonderful hotel and an excellent choice for anyone looking for luxury, comfort and a very convenient location in central Leeds.
Really friendly receptionist Andrew who made check-in easy and took the time to tell me about everything the hotel has to offer. They recommended the Grill restaurant, showed me where the bar and lounge area was, and mentioned the terrace too which was a nice touch. I also asked about a gym and even though the hotel doesn't have one on-site, they explained the partnership with Nuffield Health and pointed me in the right direction, which was really helpful. Overall, they were welcoming, easy to chat to, and made a great first impression. Little things like that definitely make a difference.
Very nice location, quality of room and public spaces plus friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely choose again next time I’m in Leed
We have just returned from a three night stay in a garden room well worth the upgrade! We were so looked after it was my birthday and I was made to feel so special! Huge thank you to David and Alistair for the unique experience! We will be back x
Very pleasurable experience, staff friendly and attentive, close to station so ideal as a base for further exploration
Myself and my husband stayed at the Dakota hotel in Leeds for a special birthday celebration. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We really liked the decor and the sophisticated environment of the bar/foyer areas as well as the rooms. Kyha and Lewis looked after us at the bar. Thank you to Kiran for arranging gifts for us once aware of the birthday celebration and to Alistair for presenting the gifts so well. Great experience!
The location The first impression How friendly and helpful all the staff were The size of the room The food in the restaurant
Great location, facilities were good and standard of the rooms very good too.
Towels were a bit rough to use(I’d have brought my own if I knew they would be), and expected the showers to have more pressure but other than that very good experience and would stay again.
It was so so nice, we barely wanted to leave the room! But for that we would have loved some robes to lounge about in. The staff were amazing, we got to check in early and everything went very smoothly. Our bags got taken to our room and the room itself was fab. Felt like a suite to us even though we 'just' booked the Classic Double 😊
Sultry moody and luxurious in a quiet location that's in the heart of the city. Moody lighting and dark sultry decor makes this hotel feel warm and comfortable. Look forward to our next visit.
Central location, quiet, good choice of English breakfast.
No city view as booked, but our room faced directly the windows of the neighbouring building. Lighting throughout the hotel is so very low, particularly the corridors and felt uncomfortable and difficult to see properly. Room wasn't very clean or cleaned during our stay (I've noticed on arriving into the room on the first day a pile of what looked like bread crumbs on the floor and they were still there when we were living on our last day). One day we came back to our room in the afternoon and the room hasn't been done. On several occasions the drinking water hasn't been replenished, so we had to ask for it. At breakfast there wasn't any cheese, flavoured yogurt, selection of nuts and raisins.
everything
nothing at all perfect
Excellently located hotel - exceptional service from the staff and rooms are so quite! perfect. Only had breakfast in the restaurant and that was really good, cold buffet with hot food all made to order
Modern, clean, really friendly and helpful staff
Loved the location The staff were fantastic Nice bar
The parking is a pain Double bed should, be king size as standard at this quality of hotel
Great location, bar, beautiful comfy bed and room. Lovely staff

How were your Hosts? 9.5/10 Hosts were impeccable on arrival. They offered prosecco for our anniversary and left a celebration plate of chocolates in our room. Our bags were taken to our room on check in. They were polite and friendly. On checkout, I mentioned we would be returning as our stay was perfect, one woman behind the desksaid they would love to welcome us back and maybe we could book directly with them next time. We booked this night as a cheeky stay as on our way to Carlisle the following day and this was half way and as it was out anniversary we wanted somewhere nice. We used our Tesco Clubcard points to cover majority of the price. Which we often do. This comment I felt was unnecessary and made me feel like I was cheap and had the appearance I couldn'tpay full price. untill this comment it was a 10/10. How clean was the Dakota hotel? 10/10 The room and the whole hotel was spotless How were the facilities and amenities? 9.5/10 The room was perfect. They had a coffee machine and selection of drinks. Every fixture and fitted mirrored the quality shown throughout the hotel. Especially pleased with the curling tongs plate on the dressing table. The hotel food and drinks were in the higher price range and the service price and Vat were added after. How did you sleep? 10/10 The Aircon really helped How was breakfast? - We didn't stay for the breakfast as it was £49 for 2. We checked out and went to Bills round the corner Would you stay again ? YES We would definitely stay again.
We stayed for one night in a Signature Suite and, unfortunately, our stay got off to a disappointing start. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit by a very strong smell that reminded us of a wet dog. After moving rooms, we think it may have been the overpowering bleach or cleaning products used in the bathrooms, but the smell in the first room was so strong it made the room unpleasant to stay in. We also found several long black hairs in the bed covers (we are both men with short hair) and noticed stains on one of the lampshades, which didn't give the impression that the room had been checked thoroughly before our arrival. Later, when we went to make a cup of tea, we also found there was no sugar or sweetener provided. As we hadn't eaten all day, we ordered room service, but the online ordering portal wouldn't submit our order, so we had to ring reception instead. The receptionist was helpful, and while on the phone I mentioned the smell. Nathan from the housekeeping/handyman team came to inspect the room, agreed the smell was overpowering and arranged for us to be moved. A concierge also kindly helped us carry our luggage to the new room. The cocktails arrived quickly and were excellent. The food took a little longer than expected, and we were conscious of the time as we had a dinner reservation, but when it arrived, both the food and drinks were very good. The second room still had a similar smell, although it was much less noticeable than the first. One thing I didn't understand was the £5 room service tray charge. I don't mind paying extra where it's justified, but no tray was actually left with our order, so the charge felt a little stingy. Breakfast the following morning was very nice, and both of the ladies with long dark hair working at breakfast were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. They really made us feel looked after and are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, I was also woken at around 6am by a reversing lorry outside. I appreciate that's beyond the hotel's control, but it meant I didn't have the best night's sleep. The biggest positive from our stay was the staff. Nathan from the housekeeping/handyman team, the concierge, the reception team and the breakfast staff all provided excellent customer service and genuinely tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, for a Signature Suite at a luxury hotel, the cleanliness issues, overpowering smell, missing refreshments in the room and room service problems meant the stay fell below our expectations. The excellent staff, along with the quality of the food, cocktails and breakfast, stopped it from being a poor experience, but I do hope these issues are addressed.
Lovely building, well decorated and inviting foyer. Super friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous room, great size with extra large bed and sofa yet still plenty room for cases and getting ready. Bathroom good size too with everything you need for an overnight stay. The sound proofing is on point, quietest hotel I've ever stayed in couldn't hear any other guests inside or any street noise down below. 10/10
Recently, I stayed with my wife and daughter in Dakota Leeds Hotel We had good experience, our rooms were large, clean & comfortable. The hotel is centrally located still not noisy, as a visitor, we could walk to most of the places of interest. The staff is well trained, polite and helpful.
We came on a Saturday night for our first ever visit for drinks and a meal in the restaurant. The venue itself is very nice and luxurious as you would expect. The staff were very professional, friendly and courteous which stood out to us. The free glass of prosecco each for a birthday celebration was a lovely touch along with the complimentary appetiser. The food was very nice and well presented. My only negative is that I thought that the drinks prices were a little steep in some cases, particularly with the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that we had, at £49 per bottle it felt a step too far for a middle of the road quality bottle. For a bottle that probably cost about £13 to buy I thought that charging £39 would be about right (using the rule of 3 with wine prices) and that would have probably been a fair reflection on the bottle for the venue, this is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Overall I would definitely return again as even on a Saturday night it was a nice calm, luxurious and relaxing atmosphere which was the total opposite to what hit you when you stepped outside to Greek street when leaving.
Young lady in reception dark hair - bloody awesome and wish I had remembered her name Great rooms Great bar Great location
Central and beautiful
The property was very well designed and we had everything we could’ve asked for.
There were no faults at all! Perfect property
Absolutely stunning hotel, 3 minute walk from the train station and it is located minutes away from the main Trinity shopping centre, hotel was fabulous, staff are very lovely and nothing is too much trouble, breakfast was absolutely banging !! I am fussy and the accommodated me having certain items on a breakfast and the cappuccinos are fabulous, I would recommend this hotel to anyone x
We stayed at The Dakota Hotel during our recent trip to Leeds to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We arrived a little bit early but our room was ready and we were offered some fizz to begin our celebrations. This was a fantastic gesture along with the treats within the room. The room itself was clean and modern. The hotel is close to a couple of Q car parks for which they offer a discount code in order to assist with the costs. The Dakota Hotel is a short walk to the cities bars, restaurants and shops and we’d definitely look to stay here again if visiting Leeds again in the future. Guests should be mindful that 12.5% is added to drinks, whether you order directly at the bar or receive table service.
We always love staying, and thank you for the upgrade!
The space and location
It wasnt cleaned, found rose petals on the carpet and no tea or coffee, seemed very rushed and not thoughtful
Alistair is truly wonderful. He has made each experience at the Dakota a memorable and personal one. He is an asset to the team and is always a delight to deal with.
Great City Centre location if you're not driving. It is a very easy walk from the railway station. The decor and lighting creates a lovely ambience throughout the hotel. It has an outside terrace to the bar and restaurant/grill in the same area. The rooms are a good size, even the standard ones, and some are available with a very pleasant balcony area. The staff on Reception were well trained and presented a friendly face on arrival.
Check-out is 11.00am on the dot. In fact our room keys stopped working at 10.50am. My view is that for one of the higher priced hotels in the City this seems so inappropriate, like they can't wait to get you out.....another hang-over from covid that needs to be addressed. So don't put your bags outside at 10.55 and let the bedroom door close. You'll be heading to Reception to get your key reactivated. I suggested to the hotel that 11.00am is too early for the quality and price of the offering and that if they are going to automatically enforce this key cut-off then they needed make it a reasonable time like 11.15. Just FYI, the hotel has a policy of taking a deposit for each room in addition to the room rate. They insist. Breakfast is menu style which I like, with great coffee and staff, but bear in mind you are paying £25 per head. The bar closes at 11.30, whether you are hotel guests or not.
Very clean, well organised, friendly staff. We like it a lot.
Average
Dining was poor. Menu and quality of diner wasn’t good. This was the view of all our party of 7

Cannot fault our recent 2 night stay at the Dakota, Leeds. Room was spotless, breakfast is plentiful and staff are really welcoming. Birthday treats were left in our room for my husband which was such a kind gesture and not expected at all together with a handwritten card. The Dakota is always our first choice when taking a break in Leeds. 5 star.
The room was beautiful.
