Best Western Plus Vauxhall Hotel

Staff was extremely helpful, polite and professional. East access to two different tube stations (Victoria Line and Northern line) were less than 10mins walk away, so very practical.

The room was way too small for two adults. The bed, although comfortable, was too small for us. The overall space was very confining. We did request a larger room. Although the staff was very understanding, it wasn’t possible to change rooms.

The sound of the AC unit/fan. Very loud made it hard to sleep so decided to turn it off luckily it wasn't too hot that night.

Hotel welcome was good, as was breakfast. Room was disappointingly small and dark. Location was fine, easy to find. Being a weekend we could have actually parked on the street, as there were spaces, but instead had pre-paid for parking at the nearby Holiday Inn Express.

Friendly, smiley and helpful team. 24 hour reception. Lift. Clean & comfortable rooms with quiet aircon and great showers. Clean towels and linen and relaxing beds. Tasty breakfasts. Only ten minutes walk to Nine Elms tube station for easy direct train into London in a few minutes.

The receptionist was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. The hotel was comfortable, clean and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Thank you Pavan for giving me a great room for my 1-night stay. I really liked my room. • Room: Spacious, clean with a comfortable bed with great pillows and blanket. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, hair dryer, slippers. So many different light options in the room! My room even had a skylight and AC which was awesome in the heatwave and at night to watch planes pass-by. • Bathroom: The bathroom had complimentary soap and shower gel/shampoo, bath and face towels. • Staff: The staff were lovely. I left my luggage in the morning. • Transport: About 10-12 mins by foot is the Vauxhall station with underground, buses (also across the street), and trains. • Shops: There aren't shops (like Tesco) that are close by, maybe 10-15ish minutes, but there are some restaurants and Gails bakery within 1-5 mins by foot. • Location/safety: At night, it's quiet but a tiny bit more sketchy - alright. There isn't much to do, besides maybe go to the Vauxhall park nearby. I spent all my time in city centre, which cost a lot to go back and forth, but because I had to travel so much by underground and buses, the total fare was capped at ~9GBP daily.

I was so sad to leave the room in the morning. Really wish I had paid more and spent my entire stay in this room rather than in another accommodation I chose which was cheaper in a residential house a few mins away.

Great area very clean reception guys was everything a checkin desk person should be. I stayed in many London properties in my lifetime and paid some I water prices and not received anything like the service I got here.

Il est abordable en terme de prix, à proximité des bus et métro. Le personnel est très accueillant. Notre chambre au 2eme étage était petite, simple, propre et le lit était confortable.

Le quartier autour de la gare est un peu spécial, notamment le soir il y a une boite de nuit avec des tenues très excentriques. Cependant nous n'avons eu aucun incident ni même de fort sentiment d'insécurité.

The rooms are a little smaller than I thought they would be, but that's personal preference.

Staff were very good: changed our room for a better room available at no extra fee, and did everything to help us in our short stay (where we had an appointment with the U.S. embassy).

This was a lovely hotel for a short break and I would also consider staying at the hotel for a longer holiday. It was easy to find and from 6:30pm on Friday to 8:30am on Monday, we were able to park for free immediately outside the hotel (NOTE : I was not given this information when I rang the hotel to reserve a parking spot as advised on the booking confirmation). The room we had was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was powerful and, for those with mobility problems, the toilet was a high-riser, and there was also a toilet for guests with disabilities. The aircon was brilliant and very welcome on a scorching hot June day. Vauxhall Bridge was very close by, meaning that there was easy access to all the main tourist attractions which were approx 2-3 miles away. It was perfect for The Oval Cricket Ground (our destination) which was only about half a mile away. There were a couple of small cafes and pubs nearby which weren't expensive and Sainsburys was just down the road. For EV drivers, there is a charging station in the Sainsburys car park, although we didn't need to use it so I can't comment on how good it was. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and reception was available at all times.

Although there were coathangers in the room, there were no wardrobes or cupboards. Not a problem for us, but may be for some - we stayed for two nights and our room was not serviced whilst we were there although we were given fresh towels.

The price. £191 for a 12sqm room is a bit much.

The reception staff were amazing. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It's not often you find this. The location is ideal for the US embassy. Within walking distance. Walking distance to tube station and food. So the location is good.

The room is small which is to be expected in London.

Το δωμάτιο,executive, ήταν σχετικά μικρό, χωρις πολυ χώρο ιδιαίτερα αν έχεις μεγάλες αποσκευες.στο μπάνιο δεν υπήρχαν τα αντικείμενα μιας χρήσης(σκουφάκια μπάνιου, κλπ)) θα ήθελα πιο λογική τιμη

The staff have been very friendly and helpful, particularly the manager Mariana and Rahul whom I saw regularly on the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made my stay extremely easy.

The junior suite with only a window in the ceiling took some getting used to. It felt a bit subterranean. But the location and the excellence of the staff made up for it.

Someone came into my room at around 2am! Not sure why or how they got access. Also, the room was clean on the surface, but looking closer, there was a lot of dust on the phone and even walls.

The staff were marvellous. Three different reception staff went over and above to be helpful and kind.

It was a little airless but lowering the temperature helped on arrival.

Location is great! Its a 20 min walk to Buckingham Palace and to the Big Ben. The rooms are clean and the house keeping is great. Furthermore, I would like to express a big thank you to Ali, the receptionist who gave us great recommendations about things to do nearby.

I booked the room with no window and the ventilation was still very good and made the room quiet. I didn’t have the breakfasts as I was meeting with a local friend, but it looked very good and comprehensive.
