Its central location and nearby subway access meant I was never far from what I wanted to see and do. A high end hotel with boutique feel

The lobby is tiny, so if you want to read for example, look for a caffe

The room was clean and spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Bathroom having a shower not within the bathtub was a bonus. Loved the block out blinds and minimal to no outside noise heard. Location was easy to get to and within walking distance to the main shopping district.

The position is really good.

The rooms were really small. Perhaps whoever awarded the hotel its 5-star rating is a friend of the owner! Jokes aside, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean. However, when the room was serviced, they made the bed nicely but didn’t really tidy up the other things in the room.

This is a beautiful hotel - well appointed , stylish and well located. The staff are very pleasant - professional and attentive. The breakfast is magnificent! Highly recommend.

No view but the room was so lovely it did not matter. The view from the restaurant is great tho.

The room smells bad, it's body odor, not that nice essential oil scent. And the staff were not friendly and helpful, yuck.

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable rooms. Lovely, helpful staff. Handy area to local trains and high end stores and malls. Surprisingly quiet in the rooms.

Everything. The staff (two girls) was so nice, location was perfect, the room size for Tokyo was very good, You can shower without having to step into the bathtub; the shower is wonderful, and the enclosure separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom goes from floor to ceiling. They use Byredo products, and the skincare set was excellent too. We loved the comfort of the bed, pillows, and linens. And finally, the blackout curtains in the room really kept the light out. We felt right at home and even watched a movie in the room at night. Also, check-out was before 12:00 rather than the usual 11:00 found at most hotels; we loved it and will be back.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Ginza in unmittelbarer Nähe zahlreicher Geschäfte und U-Bahn Stationen. Es eignet sich daher bestens dazu, das Zentrum von Tokio zu erkunden und auch der Weg nach Shibuya ist mit der Bahn nicht weit. Sehr gelungene Zimmerkonstruktion, so dass man den Schlafbereich vom Wohnbereich mit einer Tür abtrennen konnte und noch eine kleine Arbeitsecke hatte. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war im Sommer gut, da Nebensaison und durch Yen-Kurs begünstigt

Als Detail könnte man anmerken, dass die Lobby im Vergleich zu Hotels in dieser Kategorie eher klein ist mit überschaubaren Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Für mich aber kein wesentlicher Punkt, da es ja Mitten in Ginza ist und es mehr als ausreichend Möglichkeiten zum Aufhalten und Ausgehen gibt.

The location was okay for us. I will mention it is not family friendly considering there is a prostitution ring and construction all around the hotel.

The hotel had the worst smell imaginable. Instantly smelled sweat when we walking into our room. I had to call the front desk to bring us different pillows in the middle of the night because the smell was unbearable. Also there are smoking rooms on the same floor as non smoking rooms so you can smell it in the hallways. There were nasty things stuck to the floor of the shower. Definitely was not cleaned well.

Chambre un peu petite mais c’est d’usage à Tokyo Petit déjeuner peu approprié aux goûts français malgré un large choix (asiatique/anglo-saxon/japonais/brunch) : si vous aimez le sucré et les viennoiseries vous allez être très limité

Location is perfect

No gym inside the hotel but I guess that happens to most of boutique hotels in Japan. But they do offer a discount coupon to be used at a near by gym

Restaurant staff slightly rushed me and I had difficulty explaining why my main course not edible. My fault I ordered lemon chicken to get a break from sodium/starchy food. View was excellent.

The hotel staff were amazing with their customer service, politeness and courtesy. Unfortunately, this was the only thing I liked about the hotel.

I did not feel as if this hotel merits five stars, when compared to others in this category in Japan. The room I had (901) was a bit tired, with marked walls, torn chair upholstery. It lacked features, fittings and overall elegance commensurate with a five star standard. The breakfast, albeit for the ¥4,000 paid, was poor value compared to the wide-ranging buffet present at other hotels, albeit for a cheaper price.

Zentrale Lage nahe U-Bahn und Restaurants, dennoch ruhig und komplett abzudunkeln. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Zimmer relativ klein, für ein paar Tage ok, aber mit viel Gepäck wird es eng.

Große Empfehlung! Super Lage, nah an der Bahn und Ginza City. Zu Fuß kann man sehr viel erreichen. Schöne Einrichtung und extrem sauber. Personal sehr freundlich - Sie haben uns immer helfen. Die Bar im obersten Stock mit einem wirklich schönem Blick, nettem Personal & sehr gutem Essen.

An excellent hotel located in Ginza - a great area to be in - full of shops, bars, restaurants and the like. If staying in Ginza you don’t really need to leave the area for great food, great cocktails, and amazing shopping. Coming to the hotel itself, a small(ish) reception which is a little underwhelming, but overall it really is excellent and extremely functional (like everything in Japan). The rooms, we booked the Deluxe rooms which are slightly larger and I would highly recommend paying the extra for this category. Room was very well equipped with everything you need including various charging sockets which is a huge boon for foreign tourists. Very comfortable bed, linen, excellent bathroom, spectacular toiletries, overall perfect for business or holidays. Excellent WiFi as well. I would like to point out the rooftop bar - has amazing views, great snacks, and amazing cocktails - would highly recommend a visit. The only cons of this hotel - no gym, no pool, views from the room are…well nothing to view just another building. To sum up, a lovely quaint hotel which I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when coming to Tokyo.

When we were looking to book a Tokyo hotel, we debated about the Celestine due to a couple of negative reviews on here, and after staying here, we simply cannot understand them. The hotel is in a fantastic location in Ginza, close to a number of underground/subway/train stations. The room was a very good size by Tokyo standards, incredibly clean and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. We couldn't fault this hotel for anything (especially compared to other places we stayed when we couldn't book in here on the way back). Truly a little gem in Ginza which we would highly recommend to anyone.

The staff at the casitas (bar/restaurant) are very friendly, polite and competent On our last day, they gave us coffee with edible print of our picture. Very warm surprise!

The food served came with disgusting hair. They took it out of our tab. It lacks facilities especially gym. Small lobby, We were expecting 5-star hotel as was advertised, but it lacked amenities. They also had no english chanels to watch on TV-- not even news

Tolle Lage und sehr bequemes Zimmer allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber alles funktioniert und ist sauber.

Éjjel 11 után az épület melletti ház építkezésére építőanyagot kezdtek feldaruzni, ami eltartott egy darabig, erős zajjal járt. Erről jó lett volna előre tájékoztatást kapni. A reggeli nem volt túl jó ár-érték arányban.

This hotel is incredible, I absolutely loved it. All the super fancy bells and whistles, like tablet-controlled lighting, window shades, aircon etc. Delicious (and unexpected) gift of chocolates on arrival. The staff member who checked me in Sakura-san was delightful and accompanied me all way to my room to help me with my luggage since I had my hands full, which was so kind. Excellent bathroom with lots of space, beautifully appointed and dual shower heads (a rare sight in my experience!). I also ate at the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic. Very tasty and large portions, great wine list and fully appointed bar. The view at night from the hotel restaurant was also pretty magical!

They said no to nothing. Service with a smile. Need stuff in the room. U get it in literally a few minutes. Need resturant reservations. They helped. Very modern rooms. I took the larger deluxe twin. Around 32 sq m. Quite spacious. Finishing modern. Nespresso machine in room. Loved it. Went back a second time on my return leg.

لم يكن الحجز واضح بالنسبه لي بأن الغرفة للمدخنين. لم يكن هناك اي غرفة متاحة لغير المدخنين ولا حتى ترقية للغرفة. أخذنا الغرفة وكانت الرائحه مزعجه . رائحة الدور كله كريهة جداً والمكان والأثاث والسجاد والستائر كله متشرب لتلك الرائحة المقززه والمقرفة. حاولنا إلغاء الحجز ولم يتم التعاون من قبلهم ولا من بوكنق. في النهايه ولان الحجز غير قابل للإلغاء حجزت في مكان آخر . لا أنصح بهذا الفندق

Everything about this hotel is excellent: location, attention, service, lovely clean room with a view and excellent facilities, and delicious Japanese breakfast (with optional western style). In the restaurant, Natsuko outdid herself. Alert, attentive, proactive, and warm, she never missed an opportunity to look after us. She went out of her way to take the initiative, time after time delighting and surprising us with how she looked after us. With this attitude, and her artistic bent, she is a wonderful asset for the hotel.

Close to train station and walking around Tokyo

The location is the best, everything is within walkable distance. The staff is lovely and give great recommendations where to eat. The room is big for 3 luggages, which is a big positive note.
