Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Regal inn Umhlanga is clean, close to shopping mall and park, their staff members are super friendly. The room are neat and tidy, air conditioner is working properly. Is affordable with a city view.
The Shower 🚿 are very small, no microwave no bar fridge, their wardrobe have no safe for jewellery and Guns.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026It was my wife's birthday I requested champaign flute glass they didn't have it I had to go buy one from gateway I was so disaponted as I was expecting a proper hotel services, since you located at Mhlanga we expecting a high class, we booked at the same hotel bt in Ballito there far better than there they have pool, bar of which those are things we were hoping to find at Mhlanga unfortunately we didn't get what we were expecting

No fridge, 1 bottled water provided, no telephone I had to use my mobile phone to get hold of reception, 1 toilet roll provided, bed not comfortable, exit to balcony was not easy accessible as the blinder was not working one had to flip the whole blinder in order to exit to the balcony door. No wine or champagne glasses available on request.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026They are not comfortable, it was very cold and there were no blankets the aircon was only pumping cold air tv had horrible channels its was just a horrible stay the money was properly because it was in umhlanga definitely not going there corridors are noisey and it really didnt feel any sense of wamrth 100 questions as if everything is not there online i do not recommend it at all.
I didnt like a single think the only thing i did like was the location but i literally had the worst stay it was like a cold room some people are sensetive to temperature so having no blankets 50 locations for things that could be in one place i aint going back there god it was a relief leaving there as early as we could small showers,

Guests in Room 212 were fighting. The woman was screaming in the corridors, my husband as a Police officer asked what was happening, he started swearing at him. We were so disappointed as we have used this hotel before and we have had no issues at all. Besides these unruly guests, I will always recommend Regal Inn Umhlanga.
