Walking distance from the train station and the town centre. Easy to find. The man on reception was polite and helpful. Good breakfast. Good value for money.

Soundproofing not very good. I could hear neighbours having conversations and going to the toilet. I could hear someone in another room snoring. The carpet was also not clean.

Ganz wichtig: für 4 bis 5 Zimmer gibt es ein (1) gemeinsames Badezimmer. Noch nicht Mal ein Waschbecken im Zimmer, auch kein separates WC. Wenn man außerdem noch Zimmer 10 hat, dann schläft man genau neben dem Bad, dass alle nutzen. Viel Ruhe gibt es da nicht. Dafür ist der Preis dann zu teuer.

Check-in was friendly and efficient, with helpful information willingly shared about local facilities and dining/drinking options - much appreciated. The room was compact but clean and comfortable.

An ensued shower would've been preferable but sharing wasn't a hassle. I needed an early departure, so regretted not pre-ordering my breakfast choice (it may not be possible) as the (wonderful) food is clearly cooked to order and took about 25 minutes; ready to eat as soon as the service began would've been helpful.

There is free parking right in front of the place, huge benefit for Stonehaven. Location is great (close to everything important). Place was clean and friendly, all good.

The breakfast was tasty but a bit too heavy (if you are sensitive to heavy/oily food, do not opt for the Scottish breakfast... it's lovely but you'll feel funny afterwards).

Im used to en suite rooms. The communal shower room was very clean. The shower doors dont open very wide so it was a bit of a squeeze to get in and out.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful little harbour town. :) The breakfasts were nice, and the room had everything I needed. The accommodation was close to the beach, the promenade and the shops, and about a 15-minute walk from the train station. It also has its own parking space if you’re travelling by car.

Excellent little Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Stonehaven. Parking in the yard for guests, breakfast included to order from menu. Staff very friendly too. Room was comfortable.

The water pressure in the shower is weak, but this seems to be a common issue in Scotland hotels, had the same problem elsewhere too. Would be great to have water provided for breakfast - there were juices and coffee, maybe add a bottle of water as well? The shower in my room had several hair upon arrival, wasn’t cleaned well. Rest of the room was nice and clean though.

Lovely location, staff were really friendly and breakfast was nice. Only stayed for one night but slept really well. Breakfast room was open for the evening and they were totally fine with you brining outside food in. Lady behind the counter gave me a knife and fork which was lovely and it’s a comfy enough room that I spent the evening drawing and writing in my travel journal rather than sitting up in my room. Really small but as it was a shared bathroom (not my issue as this was advertised) so I had to go in and out of my room to use it and the door was on a latch that banged horribly when i closed the door. the other doors must have been the same as I kept hearing it. Not loud enough to wake me from a deep sleep but was enough to wake me when i was just snoozing. That being said I did sleep well overall though so it’s not a huge issue.

Très propre et très accueillant. La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée et les hôtes des plus accueillants. Très bien située on est à proximité du centre-ville et des commerces et du bord de mer. Le déjeuner est fabuleux on peut y déguster un full scotish breakfast. Stationnement à même l’hôtel . Bref on a adoré l’endroit.

Een bijzonder oud pand en dito kamer. Alles schoon en netjes. Zeer aardige uitbater die ondanks de drukte tijdens het ontbijt even de tijd nam om iets voor ons uit te zoeken. Een fantastisch en uitgebreid ontbijt overigens.

The staff was very welcoming. It's walking distance to Stonehaven harbour and also easily reached by car. The property has its own small car park. We loved the breakfast, you can choose from several different options (including full Scottish breakfast) and they'll cook it for you fresh. There are good restaurant and pubs nearby. Room was spotless, the shared bathroom as well.

Nice couple, no issues at all. For the money good value. Excellent breakfast and daily housekeeping. Car park at front of property. I would stay again as Stonehaven is a great little escape for me.

The location of the property aas close to the town and a short walk to the shore. There was parking on site. My bedroom was bright, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a very good sleep. At breakfast there was a good variety to choose from. Service was quick.

After an active day, climbing up to the upper floor, my knees did protest a bit! 😂 However, the room was worth the climb.

The couple running it was lovely and have us great recommendations. It was so convenient too!

Would have loved a lift! But the stairs were part of the charm!

La struttura molto carina e vicina a tutto. Colazione ottima e personale gentilissimo.

Ottima posizione e stanza di buone dimensioni. Buona la pulizia e davvero ottima anche la colazione. Nel complesso, un soggiorno molto piacevole.

Unica nota negativa, la vista dalla stanza, che dava sul retro della struttura e non era particolarmente piacevole.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist sofort am Strand, beim Supermarkt, bei der Bushaltestelle. Der Host war sehr nett und hat das Frühstück frisch gemacht, - es gibt auch etwas bei Unverträglichkeiten. Sehr lecker. Es wurde jeden Tag das Zimmer und Bad gereinigt und die Tee-Station neu gefüllt. USB-Lade-Dosen, - super! Mein Gepäck durfte ich auch Gang easy früher abstellen.

Das Bett war recht weich.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable, helpful hosts who stored my bicycle overnight and helped me with information about onward travel. A superb breakfast - it felt like a home away from home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and quite calming. He reminds me of a Butler who was put in charge of you. The rooms where small but extremely cozy. It is an old building but in the good way. It is beautiful. My room was in perfect condition. The breakfast was very delicious and the customer service was great too. The location couldn't be better. It is close to the sea and pretty central. You can reach most things in 5-10 minutes by foot.

I got a lovely warm welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. They also were happy to accommodate my request for a breakfast to go in the morning.

Alles wie man es von einem Guesthouse erwartet. Guter Parkplatz, nahe ins Zentrum und zum Hafen. Eine wunderschöne Wanderung am Meer entlang zu der wirklich schönen Ruine. Alles Gut.

There just wasn’t anything I could fault! The warm welcome, the location and the comfortable room and facilities were excellent. And the breakfast the next morning was very tasty.

I don’t have an en-suite but that’s because I skimped on cost whilst booking, next time I go and I will certainly go again I’ll book an en-suite room.

Das Bel ederw Guest House liegt sehr günstig. Nicht weit zum Hafen. Sehr Nette Besitzer, super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir hatten zwei Einzelzimmer, das Om 2.Stock war sehr klein und es war sehr warm, da gerade 26 Grad in Stonehaven waren.

Lovely, friendly host. Room was clean and comfortable. The guesthouse was in the township but still quiet, and an easy walk to the beach, harbour and a couple of pubs for an evening meal. Breakfast was delicious with several choices of cooked food and I appreciated that he had gluten free options.

Fijn dat we onze auto konden parkeren op hun eigen terrein (maar let op, er zijn wel echt een beperkt aantal plekken, dus zorg dat je op tijd bent!). Bed lag prima. Verder weinig op de kamer geweest, dus kan over de rest niet al te veel zeggen. Ontbijt werd vers voor je bereid. Wat wel echt top was, dat het heel stil was. We hoorden andere gasten niet, ondanks dat we vlak bij de trap lagen waar alle gasten langs moesten lopen.

Er was niets wat écht tegenviel. Ontbijt was misschien wat langer wachten, maar dat is ook afhankelijk van hoe druk het is, omdat het op bestelling wordt klaargemaakt.

Staff -only saw one member of staff during my stay, he was very friendly and helpful Room - fine, reasonable size for one person although it was a single bed room. Window opened properly and I could have sat outside if I had wanted ( handy as the weather was pretty hot during my stay. Good location - 5 minute walk to town centre and beach/harbour Very good shower ***I left behind glasses and medication and gentleman at the hotel called me to advise and posted these on to me - arrived in a couple of days -excellent service**

My room was on top floor so lots of stairs, not great if you have mobility issues. I had requested a quiet room and this is possibly why I was on top floor. Could still hear noise from room next door and out on the street at night (in fairness, this was at the start of world cup fever when anything was possible so why not celebrate :) Breakfast -Vegan breakfast a bit lack lustre and not many healthy options on the menu

Helaas viel het ontbijt me erg tegen. Het was niet erg smakelijk, wel fijn dat er een vegan optie überhaupt was, toch had ik er iets meer van verwacht. Daarnaast was mijn kamer heel erg warm.

Sehr unfreundlicher Empfang und Umgang schlechthin. Ein dunkles Loch (Zimmer 7) mit einer Dachluke unter dem Dach im 2.OG und kaltem Wasser ist unzumutbar und zudem zum gleichen Preis wie z.B. Zimmer 2 im 1.OG ist eine Frechheit. Zunächst keine Händehandtücher. Antwort: "Wir sind ein B&B und kein Hotel!" Ein Riesenunterschied zu allen anderen Unterkünften während einer 3-Wochen Reise durch Irland, Schottland und England.
