The style they serve at the table for room guests is cool,respectful and posh. Can't find any words to complain about the view. Excellent scenery and sea view from your own room and breakfast room. The rooms are unique and the beds are comfortable,clean and quiet. The stay made me feel like I was living in my own house. Only one bad thing about the room, no hair dryer provided.

1. Provide hair dryers for guests. 2. Extend restaurant opening hours.

Une excellente adresse : calme et vue ! Sur un trip d’une vingtaine d’hôtels en Galles et Cornouailles en 5 semaines en Angleterre, un de nos meilleurs logements ! Ambiance cosy, familiale et de très bonne tenue. Grande vue dégagée sur la Falmouth baie. Le chemin étriqué pour y parvenir se mérite certes. Chambres propres et spacieuses. Service aimable et efficace, avec le sourire de la famille propriétaire et surtout du personnel aux repas. Petits déjeuners soignés ‘aux petits oignons’ et à la demande. Repas du soir possibles de jolie qualité épargnant les kilomètres vers un autre établissement. Que demander de mieux dans une concurrence souvent très basique sur cette côte hyper-touristique ? On recommande cet endroit à 100 % pour la qualité générale de ses prestations avec son excellent rapport qualité-prix. Précisons qu’en général, nous sommes très exigeants tant sur l’ensemble d’un service acheté que sur tous les détails

The hotel is very comfortable, with friendly staff, a nice room, and good food.

This hotel is located a few miles outside Falmouth, near the village of Mawnan Smith, and public transportation is difficult, so I had to take a taxi a few times. Walking to the village center at night is too scary due to the narrow road and traffic. Yet this hotel is much, much more pleasant than Falmouth's Merchants Manor House Hotel, where I had a terrible experience.

There was a problem with the room we booked, so we were immediately upgraded to another one with the most amazing sea views, which was appreciated. The hotel is in a great position, a short walk from a fabulous beach. It is well-appointed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable but still retains a family-run vibe, that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive. All staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, and they were more than happy to cater for my wife's dietary requirements. The fact that it is also dog-friendly was good for us (as we had our little dog in tow), but having a separate area for those dining with dogs is a great idea. We may have a dog but certainly don't expect those who don't to spend any time with it - especially when eating! We were unable to use the hotel restaurant in the evening as the chef was indisposed, so booked into "The Cove" restaurant down on the beach, which was a great experience. Overall, I can easily see why Trelawne gets such excellent reviews. We (sadly) only stayed one night, but would definitely stay again.

Lovely breakfast in a very nice breakfast room. Nice to have some communication with the lovely breakfast serving team after initially arriving to pre-ordered food laid out ready.

I understand how it helps the hotel to have pre-ordered breakfasts, but I, personally, don't like this. I feel it does not give a personal touch, to fill in a paper form the night before. You don't always know what you feel like eating until the morning, and it feels more personal to be greeted warmly when arriving down for breakfast. I have no problem with choosing a time slot for breakfast. I very recently stayed at Haytor Hotel, Torquay - they have a similar number of rooms, I believe. They serve an outstanding breakfast every day without pre-ordering. It is one of the features that draws me to them. There is immediate human contact when arriving in the breakfast room, rather than arriving to food already laid out and looking for your own table. It feels a little more personal, and slightly less institutional.

Very friendly hotel all the staff were lovely as was the co owner we met. Lovely room overlooking the garden and sea, well decorated and comfortable large bed. Good breakfast order submitted the day b4. Dog friendly with separate dining in the lounge bar.

Lovely room with splendid sea view. Good choice for breakfast but food was not always piping hot as we prefer it to be. The lounge was comfortable for pre dinner drinks and after meal relaxation.

This is a small family run hotel, very friendly, very comfortable, the staff are brilliant and the food is fantastic. It is like staying with your best friends but without the hassle! The sea view room has a great view, and the breakfast is cooked fresh for you. Only had one evening meal this stay, but have eaten here before, always a good choice on the menu, and a good variety of drinks and wines in the restaurant and the bar.

There is nothing not to like!

The food was outstanding. Menu quite limited though. Views incredible from the back of the hotel. Rooms were modern and freshly renovated. Small but I everything I needed.

The communal areas were very old fashioned in their decor. There were signs all over the place with far too aggressive instructions for guests. It felt like I was being told off all the time. The staff were mixed but tried their best I think. WiFi had been broken for a few days but I had not been informed ahead of my stay. Had I been, I would have booked elsewhere. This is a basic now, guests should have been told. I was annoyed by this, but the person who checked me in didn’t seem bothered. They also complained about a sore knee while carrying my luggage upstairs - made me feel very awkward. Shower was terrible - flipping between very hot and ice cold.

It was everything we hoped. Beautiful position with sea views very quiet. Made the dogs very welcome. Food was delicious.

The value for money was poor as the facilties were much less than expected and for the price paid, in addition to the far distance to centre also the Internet was not working for the first day and a half.

Sehr komfortables und ungewöhnlich sauberes und professionell geführtes Hotel mit stets extrem freundlichem Personal. Beim Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen und das Abendessen, sofern man einen Tisch reserviert hat, hat Sterne-Niveau. Auf dem ganzen Costal Path habe ich keine vergleichbar gute Unterkunft gefunden. Vielen Dank!

Alles Bestens. Very British. Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Eignet sich für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge / Wanderungen ab der Haustüre, oder für "Car-Crossing" in die Umgebung. Nichts für laute Party's.

Great location. Our room was compact, pristine, and well-designed with a view of the sea. Breakfast was delicious, including plant-based items to accommodate our vegan preferences. We loved sitting outdoors on the lawn in the late afternoon with beverages from the bar. Staff shared tips on historical tin mines to explore nearby.

Toilet not quite clean, empty biscuit packet in mug on tray. Toiletries lovely touch but my personal preference would be for local products rather than scottish however none of this affected my stay.

View was amazing. Lovely breakfast with a good range of options. Really friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are comfortable and the whole place is very keen. We did not eat dinner there, but apparently from other guests its brillinat. Nice and quite hotel. Great little breach only 5min drive away.

Süßes kleines typisch englisches Hotelchen. Die Lage war wundervoll - man kann direkt vom Hotel am idyllischen Coast Path wandern und der nächste Strand ist nicht weit entfernt. Die Zimmer waren putzig gestaltet und das Frühstück war toll (man kann am Abend vorher auswählen was man möchte) Die Hoteliers sind sehr nett und geben gute Tipps was man unternehmen kann.

Trelawne Hotel is a high quality establishment with a very gracious atmosphere, yet most welcoming and friendly. The location is peaceful with pleasant views, yet convenient for beaches and Falmouth. The staff were most obliging and thoughtful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Zimmer mit seaview war toll, ebenso der Garten Räumlichkeiten eher konservativ eingerichtet..

Zimmer, Bad war sauber, jedoch bei offenem Fenster sah man die stark verschmutzten Fensterrahmen... Parkplatz nicht immer frei... Frühstückssituation war etwas kompliziert-man musste jeweils am Vorabend einen Zettel ausfüllen und an der Rezeption ablegen -Buffetform wäre viel einfacher und besser...

Lovely hotel, friendly professional staff. Excellent breakfast and like pre order of breakfast for next day. Dog friendly rooms available as well as dog friendly dining. Room was well equipped as well as offering dog towels. Great location and views were superb. On site parking was excellent.

Toilet flush was very challenging in Room 4. Not easy to work and someone older may have had difficulty in getting the toilet to flush.
