No, microwave or ice bucket in the room. When I found ice bucket the location was mess and ice buckets were dirty.

Very friendly service. Big, clean room with wonderful view of downtown Denver and in walking distance of most major attractions in the city. Just one block away from 16th Street Mall, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Only think I didn’t like was the bathroom privacy. For a couple it was ok but for a mother and son trip we found it difficult to get any privacy getting in and out of shower as their is no wall just a mirror

The upstairs bar was really cool

My room was expensive and wasn’t even cleaned properly. I had hand prints on the head board, stains on the floor and shower floor, No trash bags in any trash cans. $62 a night for parking after I already paid about $600 for a 2 night stay is insane.

Rates were different over night for the same room and I was told at check in that it would be the same. I requested a low floor room and they told me they’d secure one after the first night and they never reached out and never followed through. Front desk staff was pointing and laughing at guests at the check in desk, very inappropriate

At the center of downtown Denver everything was within a short walk. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Would highly recommend and will plan to stay again if back in Denver

The lobby bar and gathering area was reserved for business events nearly every evening making it inaccessible. The roof top bar was packed and had no seating available while we were there.

Recently concluded a 3 night stay at the AC Hotel Downtown Denver for a show at Red Rocks and had a solid experience overall. What's interesting about this property is that it's shared by two Marriott brands in one building. One side is Le Meridien, and the other is AC Hotels and Resorts. We stayed at the AC Hotel. AC and Le Meridien have separate entrances, lobbies and front desks, but they are connected inside and the ample lobbies are accessible to guests of both brands. I believe the staff alternates between both brands as I saw some of the same people working the AC side one day and Le Meridien the other. Speaking of which, all staff we interacted with were very courteous and professional and went out of their way to help guests. Even more impressive, both front desks had 2 or 3 staffers on duty at all times, which was great! One of my biggest hotel pet-peeves in the post covid era has been the significant staffing shortages in the hospitality industry, even at higher end properties, but that was a non issue here so hats off to the management for that. I didn't realize before booking that AC Hotels is really more of a 3.5 star brand, which is fine, but I feel like the way Marriott markets the AC Hotels brand is misleading. Everything on the Le Meridien side was a tad nicer. Nicer hallway carpets and I'm assuming more spacious rooms. Our standard King was small but very comfortable. The only issue was the lack of storage space for anything. Just a small rod with some hangers but no shelves or any other place to store anything so you need to keep your stuff in suitcases which was annoying. Equally annoying is the awful trend of non-fully enclosed bathrooms with sinks in the common area, but that's hardly unique to this property and unfortunately all too common these days even at very high end properties. Hotel owners are well aware most guests loathe this trend but I get they need to keep costs in-line so hard to ding the AC for this as they are in good company. The rooftop bar is fantastic and accessible to guests of both brands. Overall we had a good experience and expectations were met, but if I need to stay in Denver again, I'll pay the premium for the Le Meridien side next time.

It was good as expected.

Booking sent an invalid card to this hotel were staying, and the staff was asking me to pay again. now I explained that Ive already paid with booking, and after a while they did see that I did. so they told me I was only going to get charged the deposit of 100$ for incidentals, but then the next day I got charged 400$ without my consent for the hotel. I had to uber back to the hotel from the mall and ask them again why, and we had to wait for the manager to reverse it which took almost a whole week for that charge to get removed from my bank account.

I was worried that our arrangements (one room for one person and one room for two people in two beds) would cause the receptionists some confusion. I had reserved both rooms, but was only paying for one. Nonetheless, the staff handled everything with ease and good humor. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooftop bar was thankfully cool on an otherwise hot Denver summer day. And valet parking was efficient and fit our mildly hectic schedule. Also, the hotel's walkability to the 16th Mall and the light rail line (once construction is finished) is a big plus.

Was a terrible stay unfortunately wasn’t one good moment from the moment I stepped in there.

For starters the ammount of downtown homeless near by as well as just the workers treating us wrong for absolutely no reason. Seemed like a terrible day to go.

We only stayed one night in a corner room, 701, in town at the end of May for the Morgan Wallen concert. Being only one night, I don't have much to add about the hotel's amenities. The lobby was very nice. Staff was great! We liked having a corner room because we didn't hear other guests or foot traffic passing our room which was on the border between the two hotels. When exiting our room, going left was the elevator for Le Meridien lobby and heading straight were the elevators for the AC. Views of office buildings with one of them going through a renovation. We kept the sheer curtain down. At night, we used the black out curtain but there was still a lot of light in the morning where the two windows meet. We couldn't overlap the curtain. Both bead chains for sheer and blackout curtains were a little difficult to use. It took a little force to open/close. Bathroom was a separate room with sliding door. (Other reviewers said their rooms had an open concept bathroom.) Shower was great. Rain shower and hand held combination. Toiletries are the large refillable bottles which I am not a fan. There is a soap bar at the sink. Two body towels hang opposite the shower head. Extra towels are on a cart next to the sink. Least liked thing about the room is the square toilet. It's new to me. Felt like I'd fall in. My husband wasn't a fan either. 2 Complimentary water bottles were on the counter which we put immediately in the refrigerator when we arrived. Not one of those cheap fridges. I had a partially frozen water bottle that still had ice in it the next day. The comp water bottles were also very cold. Other reviews said it would be better to stay at the Le Meridien. Though it was a brief trip, we enjoyed staying in this hotel and would definitely stay here again due to it's convenient location. It's our first AC. We didn't have a car so we used the 16th Street Free Ride to/from Union Station. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. FYI AC's entrance is on 15th St and the entrance for Le Meridien is on California St. I didn't really pay attention until I went through the Le Meridien entrance needing to turn in hotel keys and to put our baggage in storage. I asked the front desk if I needed to walk over to the AC to take care of it. Without hesitation they accepted the keys and stored our items. :)

Fantastic location. Easy to walk to 16th Street and get to other areas of downtown Denver. Nice, modern, and comfortable rooms that were cleaned every day. We always had fresh towels! Friendly staff and excellent valet parking service.

The valet parking driveway was a little confusing to find the first time I drove to the building. It’s hard to notice without obvious signage.

It was a lovely modern hotel. Our room was great - 15th floor with ceiling to floor windows. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room service team were very helpful and kept our room spotlessly clean. The reception team also answered all of our queries and were friendly and welcoming.

It’s a city centre hotel so I suppose it’s to be expected but it’s tricky to get stopped outside for checkin and dropping off bags. However the valet team are very helpful.

Room was small. My husband and I were in this room for 5 days. There was 1 small drawer under the safe other than that no drawers. Room for 1 suitcase. Other suitcase had to go on the floor. These rooms were made for someone with a carry on suitcase and single.

Staff wasn’t supportive enough

The hotel itself is very nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful. So why 2 stars? Because the bathroom is open to the room. It seems like this layout would work great for a single business traveler, but I can’t imagine any other instance where this bathroom layout would work. If you have to turn on the toilet or sink light, it will wake up everyone else in the room. It was not fun having my son wake up multiple times in the middle of the night when my husband and I had to use the toilet or shower. And I loved the fact that in order to change in private, I had to stand in the wet shower, or on top of the toilet. The layout is just not functional, and I will be avoiding rooms like this in favor of privacy and peaceful sleep.

Very modern and comfortable decor. Great location downtown with nice city views. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The attached restaurant, Corinne, had great food. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Valet was also very friendly. All around, a great experience!

The adjacencies of shower, WC and hand sink is weird-difficult to use and not private.

The hotel was fine, but when we went to check in, our reservation didn't show up. And the very next day, they simply canceled our reservation as if nothing had happened. It was a disaster.
