Per la nostra esperienza l'albergo si è dimostrato perfetto: posizione incredibile molto vicino a Times Square e praticamente a 50 metri da Bryant Park, vicinissimo a diverse fermate della metropolitana, pulitissimo, abbastanza moderno e recente, molto ben organizzato, staff eccezionale. Staff molto gentile. Il bar/ristorante al piano terra è davvero molto buono, consigliato. Credo sia difficile trovare un albergo migliore per visitare NY.

La temperatura dell'aria condizionata per noi italiani era troppo bassa: anche regolando la temperatura al massimo (più calda) era comunque troppo fredda per noi. Abbiamo risolto spegnendo per tutto il soggiorno l'aria condizionata, anche se da una bocchetta in prossimità dell'ingresso della camera, arrivava lo stesso aria fredda e non era possibile gestirla dal termostato della camera.

Fantastic location right next to Bryant Park, with clean rooms and a solid breakfast. Most of the staff were friendly and pleasant, although the lady who checked us in was unnecessarily rude.

Our room had no view and very little natural light, which made it feel quite dark. No stable WiFi. Overall, a convenient stay with a great location, but the room and check-in experience could have been better.

Cleanliness & beds: The hotel was very clean, and the beds were excellent and very comfortable. Elevators: The elevators were impressively fast, which was very convenient. Breakfast: Although the breakfast was fairly simple, the manager was extremely hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. Adonis was also great and provided excellent service. Location: The location was excellent and very convenient.

The lobby: The lobby felt quite small, especially for a hotel of this size. A more spacious and welcoming lobby would improve the overall first impression. Reception: Unfortunately, the reception staff did not always seem very warm or welcoming. At times, their manner felt more like that of a strict school principal than a hotel reception team. When we entered the hotel, we often did not receive a smile, eye contact, or even a simple greeting such as “Hello.” A friendlier and more welcoming attitude at reception would make a significant difference to the guest experience.

La ubicación, las vistas, la limpieza y las instalaciones. Cama muy cómoda, el baño perfecto. Silencioso, con suficientes enchufes y la posibilidad de cargar directamente el movil en varios de ellos. Disponibilidad de cafetera Nespresso, tabla (grande) y plancha, secador Dyson (muy top), albornoz... Todo lo deseable para hacer la estancia muy cómoda. El personal muy amable pero es cierto que no necesitamos nada y únicamente los vimos cuando salíamos y entrábamos cada día (pero siempre amables y con una sonrisa)

Algo confuso el sistema de pago. Un par de días antes cargaron en la tarjeta el precio de una noche y nos llegó un mail indicando que era un depósito de garantía y que si todo iba bien se descontaría del precio final. Al llegar al hotel nos cobraron la totalidad de la reserva con tarjeta más otro depósito de otra noche extra como garantía. Es decir, toda la reserva más dos depósitos (dos noches extra). Al darnos cuenta lo comentamos con el personal de recepción que nos indicó que era todo correcto. Enviamos un nuevo mail y rápidamente nos indicaron que había sido un error y que era solamente el equivalente a una noche lo que se hace como depósito, reintegrándonos en ese momento el exceso de depósito (en concepto de garantía, cosa lógica). En cuanto hicimos el check out se nos devolvió a la tarjeta el mismo. Es esperable y lógico que se cobre un depósito y además la devolución de todo ha sido rapidísima. Únicamente creemos que el sistema es algo confuso (aunque la atención vía mail fue un 10 y el personal fue todo todo el tiempo muy amable)

The room was what I'd hoped for - modernly stylish, updated, and high quality furnishings and details (e.g. the cool coat rack) and delightful touches such as boutique toiletries, slippers, water bottles, electrically controlled blinds... and even a sound machine (these all conveyed 'thoughtfulness' which is what I truly appreciate). Very clean and comfortable. The two King beds is what sold me; my family members are tall so we do not fit into 'double' beds, and even the typical Queen beds are too short and crowded for us. Thank you for offering double Kings - that's so rare, and appreciated! Also, we ate dinner in the lovely hotel restaurant, which was delicious, well-timed, and pleasantly served. Overall, as an experience analyst who takes note of experience design, I was absolutely delighted and would highly recommend Luma to others.

The only thing that wasn't fabulous was the view from the room, which was into an interior courtyard, but I knew that up front and it's common in Manhattan, so in all fairness it's not a negative. The overall experience was so positive, I'm a bit flabbergasted that I honestly have nothing bad to report. Well done, hotel management and staff.

Ons verblijf in hotel Luma was fantastisch. Het personeel van het hotel is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn perfect ingedeeld. Mooie en ruime en vooral schone badkamer. Heerlijke bedden en een mooie praktische ruimte. De ligging van het hotel is uniek. Om de hoek van Times Square en Bryant Park met 2 metrostations die de belangrijkste metro lijnen van New York aanbieden. Wij waren op zoek naar een plek in de buurt van Times square maar niet OP times square. Je kunt makkelijk de gekte ontsnappen als je dat wilt. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Onbeperkt kunnen pakken van bagels, brood, beleg, wat warme gerechte gerechten, yoghurt, fruit en beleg. Een meer dan perfecte basis om de dag goed te beginnen. Het personeel van het ontbijt was zo lief en vriendelijk. Vooral de Indonesische dame was zo lief, gastvrij en behulpzaam. kortom: Zoek je een hotel dichtbij metrostations, dichtbij times square met heerlijke bedden, fantastisch personeel en een goed ontbijt. Zoek dan niet verder.

Wat ik tegen vond vallen is kastruimte en dan vooral planken. Als je met 4 personen in de kamer verblijft is er weinig plek om je kleding neer te leggen. Daarnaast kregen we in de avond een chocolaatje op het nachtkastje. Maar hier zat weinig structuur in. De ene dag kregen we er 4 (verbleven met 4 personen), soms 2 en soms helemaal niets. Dat zorgde voor wat onduidelijkheid.

The deposit has not yet been refunded (more than a month after we left the hotel), although we were promised it would be refunded within 7 business days after checkout.

O serviço no cafe da manha deixou a desejar no atendimento. Os atendentes estavam mais preocupados em imprimir a nota para o recebimento da gorjeta, do que limpar as mesas, repor os itens faltantes do cafe e organizar o local. Extremamente desorganizados e confusos. Ficamos algumas vezes esperando pra assentar, sendo que o local do cafe estava vazio, mas as mesas estavam sujas e não estavam organizadas para nossa utilização.

Everyone was so nice. Housekeepers were so attentive. I especially liked Sandra from the 7th floor. The doormen and greeters were so helpful and nice. Loved all the room amenities. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and it was so quiet at night. The location was so convenient! Will definitely be back!

We have now stayed at this hotel twice now most recently for 8 nights, the rooms are really well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff are always very friendly, welcoming and helpful including in the restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast as part of our stay which was also good value. The location for us was great as we love Bryant Park which is just next to the hotel, there is also a number of subway stations to use nearby on different lines for easy access around the city, it is also close to Times Square so plenty going on close by but not too close either.

The service from the entire staff was excellent, and the room was clean and cozy. Special thanks to Adonis for all his help. He is professional and kind.

This was our second stay at the LUMA Hotel and we were not disappointed, the rooms are very clean and very well equipped, the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was great and nice and handy. We love the location right next to Bryant Park which we love and a couple of alternative subway stations making it really easy to get around the city.

The only thing we can think of is the pillows are really soft so some firmer pillows would be a great option.

Great location as located slightly away from very busy and noisy Times Square, yet close enough. Good service. Small but modern rooms. Clean bathroom. Very clean. Small hotel but good atmosphere. Close to shopping, food, theater, subway etc. overall can recommend.

Stayed at LUMA Hotel Times Square with the family and it exceeded expectations in every way. The suite was spacious and modern, with a proper kitchenette that made life easier having two kids with us, and the location right by Times Square meant everything was within walking distance. The standout moment of the whole trip, though, was ALINA, the hotel's robot butler, who arrived at our door completely unannounced with an activity pack for the children. They were absolutely fascinated and we found ourselves calling down for small requests just for the excuse to see her deliver them. On top of that, dinner at the in-house restaurant AperiBar was genuinely one of the best meals of our entire New York trip, every dish we ordered was excellent. Staff throughout the stay were friendly and attentive too. A brilliant, memorable hotel for anyone travelling with kids, ours are still talking about that robot.

Die Zimmer sind nicht die Größten, aber es ist ausreichend und dafür hat man eine top Lage direkt am Times Square. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern waren die Queen-Size völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut und mit Kids für uns sehr angehem. Wer alleine reist, nutzt natürlich lieber die vielen Breakfast-Angebote in der Stadt ;-).

Es hat uns alles gefallen und auf unserer Rundreise von NewYork über Wildwood nach Washington war das wirklich das beste Hotel.

La colazione è molto buona e non abbiamo mai atteso più di qualche minuto per sederci. Ottimo il servizio a colazione e lo staff sempre disponibile e gentile.

La camera non ha vista sulla città (era scritto in descrizione). La colazione risulta un po ripetitiva per soggiorni lunghi.

We ( A family of 3 ) Stayed here at this hotel for 2 nights after my wife recommended this hotel after staying there in September of 2025 for 2 weeks , This hotel may be one of the best hotels we've been to , So clean so hospitable , The staff are so so Amazing , patient and Helpful , I would also like to mention someone Amazing by Name .... Ron the supervisor at the Hotel Restaurant , Ron makes you feel so special and right at home 🏡 , When we come back to New York we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

ניקיון- היו שאריות חטיפים בחדר כשהגענו לחדר הספה לא הייתה פתוחה אחרי כמה שעות הגיעו לסדר בלי כריות אמרו עוד שעתיים יגיעו הכריות כי הם בכביסה. בתיאור החדר כתוב נוף פנורמי של ניו יורק מהסויוה זה בטוח לא הנוף הפנורמי של ניו יורק! כשניגשתי לצוות אמרו שהמנהלים יגיעו ביום שני והם יעבירו לו את פנייתי- לא קרה עד היום! אין תחושה של אדיבות בקרב הצוות.

My sister and I visited New York for the first time in 8 years. We can’t praise the hotel staff enough, they are very polite and nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in New York. The best hotel I’ve stayed in, in New York. The staff are lovely so helpful and happy and willing to help anyway they can. The location is excellent near to everything and yet still remaining peaceful. The rooms are a good size by New York standards and good value for money. The hotel has a great vibe and friendly feel. When I return to New York, I won’t be staying anywhere else than at the Luma Thank you for making our trip to NY extra special.

This is by far the best place I stayed near Time Square. Not only the location is great, the rooms are uptodate and impeccable, the food was great and the staff is so extraordinary. They will go to great lenghts to make sure you have the best stay available. I will recommend this place to anybody I know. If I don't know you' don't go because I want a room available when I go! My family of 4 had a great stay at Luma. The hotel was clean, quiet, and our two king beds were very comfortable (pillows too!) The location was fantastic - close to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Broadway. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

From start to finish, LUMA Hotel exceeded every expectation. The location is unbeatable — right by Times Square and within easy walking distance of everything you'd want to see in the city. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, and feel brand new, exactly the kind of comfort you hope for after a long trip. But what truly set this place apart was the staff. We arrived off an overnight flight completely exhausted, and they checked us in as early as 9am — that single act of kindness essentially saved our entire first day, letting us rest and actually enjoy New York instead of waiting around. On top of that, they surprised my wife with a wonderful birthday gift delivered by their charming little robot, a lovely touch that made her day and something we'll remember for a long time. And to cap it all off, they let us check out as late as 1pm, which made our departure completely stress-free. Excellent location, immaculate rooms, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. This is hospitality done right. We couldn't recommend LUMA Hotel more highly and can't wait to come back.

Location was perfect for families and all the staff were so friendly and made our stay so special.

Emplacement au Top, Bryan Park, Times Square , Roof top, union station bref tout a porter de 'pieds'. Chambre 4 personnes au 7ième, Salle de bain Nickel, Literie superbe, aucun bruit de la ville, Pas de vue, mais c'était un choix.

Great location, near to Bryant Park, trains and many restaurants and cafes. Great service and hospitality from all the staff.

The day our stay ended!

Het hotel was erg schoon en het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en professioneel. We hadden per ongeluk een queensize bed gekregen terwijl we een kingsize hadden geboekt. Wij hadden dat zelf niet opgemerkt, maar het hotel kwam na twee dagen uit eigen initiatief met een prijsverlaging. Dat vonden wij zeer eerlijk en getuigt van uitstekende service.

Eigenlijk niets. Alleen jammer dat we in eerste instantie een queensize bed kregen in plaats van een kingsize.

I liked the room, and the staff and the location is excellent.

The wifi kept dropping off which was disappointing. The link with the gym nearby didn't really work and could do with simplifying.

Everything was absolutely amazing from the room and comfortable the staff did extremely everything to satisfy us and solve issues quick the location is perfect not on time square itself but few block away next to bryant park so you had 5 minutes walk to the center but still enjoys a quiet hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal with the management of wonderful Ron who fulfilled every request as daughter needs gluten free meals so she got specials treat.

Maybe next time I prefer higher floor with view to the street which we didn't get since we booked it late.

Great experience and hospitality! My wife and I were guests of the hotel for a week in July. This was an example of hospitality at the highest level, from front desk to house keeping and guest services. Left my wallet in a taxi from JFK, management found the taxi via video, contacted the driver who returned my wallet. A very stressful event that was managed with absolute professionalism. Fantastic!

Wonerful stay at a beautiful hotel in midtown. I was very impressed with the hotel staff from the very friendly doormen to the Concierge and Desk. They were always friendly and helpful. We booked a room on the Plaza, and it was very comfortable and quiet. The room was well-stocked with towels and toiletries every day and the housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the pizza and breakfasts in the Aperi Bar.

Everything went perfectly during my visit. Check-in was quick, the room was spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The service was consistently excellent.

We had a very good experience overall during our 15‑day stay at LUMA Hotel Times Square. - Central location: The hotel is right in the heart of Manhattan, making it easy to get around and explore the city. - Friendly staff: From the front desk to the door staff and service team, everyone was extremely supportive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Their attitude made the stay feel welcoming. - Daily housekeeping: Rooms were serviced every day, and the washrooms were kept clean throughout. - Comfortable stay: Although the room was a bit small for our family, it worked well since we spent most of the day out and only came back to sleep at night. Beds were comfortable, and everything functioned smoothly. - Kids’ delight: The hotel’s robot that delivered amenities to the room was a highlight — our kids enjoyed it a lot. Overall, it was a comfortable, hassle‑free stay with no issues at all. The combination of location, cleanliness, and exceptionally friendly staff made it a memorable experience. Tout était parfait, plein centre de manhattan et dans une rue peu fréquentée près de Bryant Park et de tout, la chambre spacieuse avec petit canapé et une vue agréable, le petit déjeuner complet servi dans de la vraie vaisselle de qualité (rare à new york) et enfin pas d'attente pour les ascenseurs ni pour le petit déjeuner. L’équipe est parfaite. Pro et très sympathique. L’emplacement est parfait : à côté de Times square et de plusieurs lignes de métro et en face d Bryant Park. Les chambres sont confortables et tout est très propre. Seul petit bémol, le petit déjeuner manque de variété mais le responsable de la salle fait oublier ce petit moins tellement il est sympathique et chaleureux. C’est vraiment un super hôtel. Merci à tous.

My stay at Lumas Hotel NYC was excellent, thanks in large part to Alyssa at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she was more than wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She handled everything with such grace and professionalism that it immediately set the tone for a great visit. It’s rare to find someone who elevates the entire experience, but Alyssa absolutely did. Their attitude made the stay feel welcoming. - Daily housekeeping: Rooms were serviced every day, and the washrooms were kept clean throughout. - Comfortable stay: Although the room was a bit small for our family, it worked well since we spent most of the day out and only came back to sleep at night. Beds were comfortable, and everything functioned smoothly. - Kids’ delight: The hotel’s robot that delivered amenities to the room was a highlight — our kids enjoyed it a lot. Overall, it was a comfortable, hassle‑free stay with no issues at all. The combination of location, cleanliness, and exceptionally friendly staff made it a memorable experience. I was in New York City celebrating the publication of my book, Don’t Throw in the Towel Yet!, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay than LUMA Hotel Times Square. From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed us with such genuine warmth and hospitality. Every interaction felt personal, and that kindness continued throughout our stay. If you’re considering it, I highly recommend booking the breakfast package. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and became one of the highlights of our mornings. We also loved that our three-night stay included a $75 hotel credit, which we happily used at the AperiBar. It was outstanding, and a perfect way to unwind after exploring the city. One fun detail: I actually found LUMA through ChatGPT. I took the recommendation on faith, and I’m so glad I did. The hotel is beautiful without feeling pretentious, thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It managed to feel both sophisticated and welcoming, which isn’t always easy to find. If I return to New York, I won’t even look for another hotel. LUMA has earned my loyalty. Just had four awesome days in NYC LUMA with my husband. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived! The concierge, doorman, housekeeping and restaurant team made us feel comfortable and gave us great tips about navigating NYC. The Bryant Park location was perfect - with easy walking distance to so many sites and central for subway lines. The breakfasts made things simple for us and dinner there was delicious. It was our first time in NYC together and we loved it. Can’t wait to get back to LUMA NYC again :)
