My partner and I had such a lovely time at Mezzo Hotel Cebu. The location was perfect for getting around, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff’s warmth made our stay extra special. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel cared for, and we genuinely recommend Mezzo Hotel to anyone visiting Cebu.
The pool area was a great place to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, and the staff were friendly and attentive and they gave me a nice quality service.I couldn't have asked for a better pool experience. It was a highlight of my stay!
I visited Cafe Mezzo with my friends, and I was amazed by how hospitable the staffs.Their cake was so yummy perfect for those people who loves sweets. The ambiance was so peaceful. In addition they offer accomodations, catering services and many more. I'd loved to visit again. Overall, I am satisfied with my visit here.
Cordial and very helpful staff. Keep up the good work.
Got able to try their breakfast buffet that is included in our room rate. When i first enter their restaurant they greet me with warm welcome and offer me a water when i found a sit. The place is cozy and comfortable. I Love the food! it is still warm and they have lots of options. overall i had experience a luxury stay and dine in.
Indeed, a wonderful experience not just for me but also to my daughter who joined the Artful summer party at Mezzo Hotel, my heart is so happy seeing her enjoying the event. She also meets new friends with the other kids. As for me, I also enjoy the merienda buffet in cafe mezzo! Thank you so much Mezzo Hotel for organizing this kind of events for kids!
Well spacious room
Mezzo is one of the hotels that i like to stay whitin Cebu City . I think I've been in mezzo for multiple times that's when I attended a wedding , when we have our seminar held there and when me and my partner avail their buffet promo. Very Nice Hotel
One of the things I love most about my stay at Mezzo Hotel is its swimming pool. The ambiance feels so homie because the pool is not too big. Plus, it’s not too deep, so the kids can still enjoy swimming. Another thing I appreciate is how attentive the staff are, making my experience even better. I will surely come back ! Thank you Mezzo 🫶 4o
Very good with everything
Overall, I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The wifi in the room was not the best, but that is understandable since the access points are in the halls. It is hard to penetrate the walls when the access point is more than 30 meters away. Luckily, the room had an ethernet port for my laptop to plug in and the internet was top notch. I really loved the waterfall shower head.
It’s convenient and close to restaurants, laundry shops, banks and easy to public transportation.
Very friendly staff
We got to stay at Mezzo Hotel for a night and fully charged ourselves. The room was small but it was comfy enough for two people. Though the vibes were masculine because of the navy blue furnishings, I felt relaxed and at home. The room interior was tasteful snd classic. The beds were just right and kept me and my husband well rested. The aircon kept the room cool. Tje hotel is located in a quiet street so noise is not an issue. Our room came with free breakfast and it was one of the high lights of our stay. Everything on the buffet tasted yummy! It was such a delectable spread of Filipino and Asian cuisine. Hotel and resto staff were all helpful and friendly. It was indeed a short but memorable stay at the Mezzo!
Very comfortable stay! The room was very spacious. The locations is pretty great too, very central and close to many restaurants, cafes, and malls. Loved the breakfast in particular! Was different each time and had a great selection that caters to both the Asian and Western palate. Pool area and gym were nice too
My whole stay at Mezzo Hotel was very pleasant, the staffs are very accommodating. The front desk staffs are very helpful with our questions with regards to nice destinations around cebu ang gave us recommendations. Rooms are clean and the food at the restaurant taste great.
Kudos to the staff of Mezzo Hotel as they were very accommodating and friendly. The foods are great. location is very convenient if you want to go to malls. The rooms are clean and spacious feels like home!!! I will surely recommend this hotel!
Booked for 4 nights, room was like a 2 star at best. No hot water, no bedside light, no bath mat. Fridge didn’t work. Bathroom dirty. Window looked onto a concrete wall approx 6 inch away. Spoke to man on reception who shrugged and said that was a superior (basic) room and that’s what we had booked. Reception area was ok, pool strange as next to conference room and there was a conference on with all doors open to pool area.Rather than spoil the trip we checked out and just paid to go else where. Definately would not recommend. Filled feedback form in on departure but heard nothing.
We had a business conference here for 15 days. I noticed that all of their staff were very accommodating and respectful as well. The facilities were excellent, and the services provided made event run smoothly. Overall, it was a productive experience, and I appreciated the professionalism of everyone involved. 🥳🤝💯
As part of the organizing team for our event, I was very impressed with Mezzo Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, showing a high level of professionalism while being friendly and approachable. They even provided basic medicine when needed, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The rooms were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was also fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options that everyone enjoyed. Overall, our experience at Mezzo Hotel exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend it for events or stays.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. The place is clean and nice. The staff are very friendly, sensitive to our needs, and very accommodating. I will surely recommend this hotel for events and other important occasions. An experience of a luxurious stay at a very affordable price.
My best cebu experience so far. The staff are warm and approachable. The rooms are clean and welcoming... definitely feels like home. Facilities are corporate and engaging... Mezzo Hotel is like your hometown in a few walks around...comfortable, business, HOME
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they provided excellent service. The hotel had a great location, close to many restaurants, shops, and attractions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. And also food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. And all staff was incredibly friendly . They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect.
It has a great ambiance especially in the pool area. I am satisfied with their service, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and approachable. It was a good decision that we choose Mezzo Hotel because it is centered of 2 malls and bars. I would recommend this Hotel to my friends and relatives. Looking forward to stay again here at Mezzo. Overall, I love it.
Held my daughter's debut here last July. The venue was fabulous and elegant. Food was great and staff were very pleasing and friendly. For those who are planning to hold parties and event, Mezzo Hotel is definitely a good choice. It is highly recommended!
We booked the barkada room. We saw several cockroaches. When we went into the bathroom, they started scurrying as soon as we turned on the lights. There were baby cockroaches everywhere, including on the bed and pillow. At first, we thought they were bed bugs so we started inspecting the mattresses. We pulled 1 bed away from the wall to take a closer look. We had to step out for a bit. We notified the front desk of the situation. They said that they would report it and provide us feedback. (?) We had no idea what that was supposed to mean. When we returned to our room, we noticed that someone had been in there without our prior knowledge or approval. The bed we had pulled out had been pushed back against the wall. There were even more cockroaches this time. We saw over 20 in a short span. We took several pictures and videos. We spent a lot of time trying to kill all of them. They had gotten into our bags. My sister had a transparent make-up case that was left open on a table and it had a few cockroaches in there. There were cockroaches in a hand-carry that had a zipper slightly open. There was even a dead cockroach in the fridge. Who knows if there were more in there? We spent 3 hours going through our bags and at the same time, looking for another hotel. There was no way that we were going to stay there. A cockroach even fell from the ceiling and landed on my nephew's face while we were going through our things. In addition to the cockroach problem, the bathroom was not clean and the throw pillows and throw blankets had stains on them. We checked out as soon as we could. Stay away!
It could be better hotel around here.

This is our 6th or more times we've stayed at this hotel. We've noticed that the room has gotten smaller & tightier. We used to have robes, slippers, combs, shampoos & conditioners. But we've noticed some of those items were missing.
Security staff friendly but not as helpful as in times past. Desk and service staff helpful and friendly; but sheets are not always changed unless you insist. Power was out once.
Good hotel 9 out of 10. Highly recommend the staff was wonderful and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Need more toilet paper in the bathroom.
Pillows are old and flat, bath towels are old and so thin. No hand towels no face cloth no bath mat. Breakfast is gross, always the exact same food everyday. Staff are very nice. Location sucks
I had hangers and no towels
They made us to wait for check in 1hour coz they are not ready for our room even check in time passed
The staff were friendly, courteous, & always helpful
The staff was so-so, some were very kind and others weren't right person on the job. The beds were good but keep in mind that they charge you for stains without ever warning us at check-in about this. The room was in okay shape BUT the bathroom was not. There was so much limestone on the faucet it was thick layer on it. And the shower had plenty of limestone and was very rusty. The location was good, restaurants, small shops and easy to get transportation.
Staff entered room at all times of day and night without announcing themselves or knocking . Things in the room was altered or moved, and no service provided at that time.
I love the suite room it was very good and huge … just don’t like the shower area…
I booked this for my parents to attend an event held in same Hotel. Per family experience, Hotel is good and staff were nice as well as accomodating. The only issue i got with this booking was paying extra for breakfast and not getting what you paid. So, I would say posted option for breakfast in expedia when booking this Hotel is not reliable. I would suggest paying the breakfast directly to the Hotel during your stay.
quite a good deal. i happened to stay at the room near a wedding party group, which has more than 5 people chatting at night, a little bit noisy, otherwise, it is perfect
設備が古く、清潔でない
The doorman and reception staff and every staff member i interacted with during my stay were polite and helpful. Prior to arrival contacting the hotel was very difficult and took 3 days of phone calls to eventually speak with someone.....very frustrating waste of time. The room was clean and comfortable. However nearly every day the room was serviced some things were replaced but others werent.....very confusing. on two occassions the bathmat was taken but know clean bathmat was left??.....as i kept explaining to housekeeping this was dangerous as the floor was slippery when wet. On one occassion the towels were taken but no fresh ones left?? Both these situations were able to be rectifiied by contacting the staff .....but was just strange situation On several occassions the coffee sachets that i used werent replaced the next day......and when i contacted the staff and advised i only needed coffee (no sugar no creamer no tea) ......i got tea and sugar left in my room but no coffee?? overall stay was good and all staff i spoke to were polite and helpful......just some strange things with the room
Worst service i have meet in a hotel. They didn't even show way to elevator. Gave us wrong room, 40min for check in (no other coustomer), smells bad and no service mind at all. Did check out after 3hours and book another hotel
Very disappointing experience! Hotel is showing images not related to the room you'll get!! Hotel management is not decent in giving you what you paid for and what you expected.
had a relaxing stay with my family
The hotel is tucked away down a back street in an old district of Cebu city called Mabolo. Upon arriving there was no doorman to greet us or carry our suitcase up the steps in front of the hotel. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem however i had an accident 2 weeks prior and had injured my back so it was a real struggle to get into the lobby. The Lobby itself is quite pleasant with lots of marble and an open fish pond although strangely no seating unless you sit on the ponds edge. Checking in was straight forward as i had prepaid through hotels.com and only needed a signature a copy of my passport and a 1000 peso deposit. The receptionist gave us our room card and wifi logins and then left us to it. Upon entering the room it was already air conditioned which was a pleasant surprise in the Philippines as you usually have to activate it once you enter. The room which was a junior suite was of a reasonable size and very clean. The reason for going for it was that it had a full size bath which i wanted for my aforementioned bad back and i had three long baths over the 2 days we stayed which set me up for the long haul flight back to the UK. The bathroom also had a double size shower which worked well for the wife and overall i would say it was one of the best i have experienced in the Philippines over the 25 years I have been going there. Overall a good stay which could be enhanced by having a full time doorman (i did spot one on the middle day when i didn't need him).
Management intervention to assist in caring for customer needs. I was not sure that front desk cared if I stayed at the hotel or not. Front desk fumbled with paperwork, and getting me checked in properly, and the same with my guest. It took several attempts to program the room keys.
Alto a nice hotel, staff where vary rude, spoke to my pa
Clean , nice very quiet and very good wifi.
booked a Suite with a King-sized bed and a bathtub. was "upgraded" to a smaller room, with a smaller bad, with NO bathtub. I asked to be moved to what i booked, i was made to wait 2 hours. But was made to stay in the same room. disappointing.
For my Aug23-26 stay, i booked a suite with a king-sized bed & bathtub. I was told i was “upgraded” but when i got in, it was a smaller room, with a queen-sized bed, and no bathtub. I asked to be moved. Then I was made to wait 2 hours. And in the end, i still had to stay in the same room. Disappointing.
The staff was very friendly and courteous. The amenities are seriously lacking. The pool is very small amd and partially indoors. No seating around the pool. The pool bar is just a small counter in the corner that wasn't staffed when I went. The convenience shop wasn't open much during the day. The "restaurant" breakfast isnt anything great. Lots of breads and meats. The staff gets 5 stars. The hotel gets 2.
Excellent Hotel with extremely good and helpful staff. The food in the hotels restaurants is to a high standard and value for money. We will be back.
It was senior friendly, though house keeping was a bit short in cleaning the floor, TV/cable has some issues, buffet have very poor healthy or senior friendly options. The fruits we're limited to recurring pineapple that had no flavor and water melon. The cafe service is agonizing and the food was too expensive, a melon salad took about 50 mins. Otherwise, it was okay. The front desk was efficient.
Very happy with the hotel overall.
While the hotel itself was nice enough I found the staff to be quite rude, unfriendly and uncaring. I could've overlooked the utter lack of WiFi, lack of toilet paper, broken room safe, and lack of robes but the two men working at the front desk (one at check in and one at check out) were total imbeciles and made the whole experience one I will never repeat and so I encourage others to avoid this hotel as well. I could give more details and examples but this place just isn't worth any more of my time.
We arrived at the hotel and was told to sign off some house rules including not to bring any drinks or food from outside ( and they even have fines on the paper if doing so) but the shop inside the hotel was closed during our stay. At the middle of the night we go waken up by some very loud screams and seems like someone was fighting on the hallway. Called the reception and they said they’ll check. Then heard the phone calling in the room next door lol probably their way of checking. In 10 min time somebody from the hotel showed up and heard them mentioning that the room next door ( that was us) complained about the noise. Hell of a privacy and security!! And they did let the people stay in the room after that! They didn’t even apologise at all, not even a single sorry!! Disappointing and def won’t stay there again!
The Hotel is new. Bathroom is wonderful. Room is clean.
It was a brand new building. All very clean and new. Location is not the best for a tourist. In the middle of the busy city.
Great service. They immediately fix our internet problem when we got into our room. One of the fastest bandwidth connection I experienced so far in Cebu.
breakfast is fine but Noodle soup is too Salty., Waitress service so poor
I like everything about how the staff and crew handled our stay in the hotel (friendly, professional & hospitable), clean facilities & very up to date (contactless card) but: * not a smooth check in process, I made 2 separate reservations & been told that our check in should be the following day, had to collate all the necessary infos & explain what happened. We still managed to go in in the end. * no toilet rolls on our 2nd day and rusty & faulty toilet roll holder * not accommodated in the resto as it shuts at 10pm, not allowed to get food delivered so had to go to the nearest eating place On the lighter note: We would like to thank Eve from the frontdesk as despite being hectic in the day of our check in she still managed to accommodate all our queries and questions.
Hotel feels unfinished although clean there was no ambiance at all and staff unhelpful and uninterested.
Mezzo gets the job done, but really that's about it. It certainly does not have the feel of a 4-star place. The bed was very hard and the bathroom could have been cleaner. I would say only book if the value is great.
Not so good experienced of service with some of the hotel staff. Quite surprising for a Filipino service and it’s unusual. When we checked-out the hotel in the morning the lady in front desk is quite rude the way she speaks to the guests. We asked for change room due to aircon not working and the bed offered in new room was 2 single bed, we requested to combined together but the guy in room service said they cannot combined the 2 beds. But I called and checked with the front desk and they combined the bed together. Very disappointing. The food in the restaurant is not good and need a lot of improvement on the quality of taste The coffee is not good and we requested for instant coffee (3in1) and surprisingly answered they don’t have but they are offering for free in the room. Overall not recommended to stay!
superb stay at the hotel. staff exceptional. definitely staying here again on my next visit.
First time staying in this hotel and loving it. Experience is great and will stay here once again when coming back to Cebu.
Amazing room! Went for the Premier Suite and was not disappointed! Room wa avert spacious, WiFi is great, staff friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Would definitely recommend this!
Nice hotel, great staff , bed was comfortable, only downside to the hotel was the pool is consistently closed for conferences. The pool bar was poor although the Batman tried his best. Try putting up a divide so both can remain open and encourage guests to the pool area. Location is good also and taxi availability is excellent.
Nice hotel, close to most of the places i need to go to, bathroom smelled like smoke when someone was smoking near the fire exit.
Front desk could not find my reservation, i wait for 30 min, and Restroom was used when I open door, and Mineral water was opened and someone drank, feel bad... and there is no curtain in the shower room.. water came out every where to be wet
Not good location but Hotel is nice and Delicious breakfast
Oh my, the receptionists, Ms Jill and Reyna, were super duper fantastic on every level, I had so many personal issues with the kids and bad luck! But these ladies accommodate me above expectations, they are SECOND to NONE!
Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet selection, nice pool, okay location. The hotel is quiet because it is not directly on the main street. Walking to restaurants and shops is possible, but the sidewalks on the main street are not the best. The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We were a family of 9, we had the 10 beds room and it was perfect everything was good comfortable beds clean sheets....
What a lovely experience This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my whole life Having travelled the world The polite service and professional manner, from all members of staff Truly exceptional Hotel is smart and up to date Well worth a stay
This Hotel was really good value for money, our stay included breakfast, breakfast was simple and enough to kill any hunger pains. We also had a meal one evening in their restaurant food was really great including the Hamburger they made for me...( Thank You ) Rooms were of a good size, with carpet by the bed area. Towels were a little small, but otherwise ok. There is a nice little swimming pool and also a small shop which carries most of your basic needs, saves you from having to go out from the hotel.Clean and tidy and the staff were all very helpful and polite. A good place to stay.
Staff very helpful and room very clean..downside was wifi not working properly and buffet breakfast not much variety to choose from...overall very nice hotel
Stuff is awesome. They do everything they can to accomodate your stay. Really friendly and even went out of the way to accomodate us on a more conveninte room in the second nigh at not extra charge to accomodate out baby needs. They gave us tour tips and traditional ideas. Facilities are good. Area is not so good but there is a conveninte store a block away and Ayala mall 1 kil away, aprox.
The checkin process was a bit slow, towels need improvement they were rough and didn’t seem all that clean. Internet is slow and weak. All that said it’s very reasonably priced. So for a low budget hotel I would stay there again.
Hotel room not worth the Hotel price paid
Great location and clean comfortable room. It’s close to the big malls, bus terminal and the airport. Around the hotel, there’re some good Japanese restaurants. I gave 4/5 for facility because the toilet seat was wobbly in my bathroom.
OK hotel and room, except the bed mattress was way too hard for me. The pool is small and mostly covered, so not for sun lovers.
I cannot really recommend this hotel, as the service lacks in several ways. Some people are really nice and friendly there, but others are not very outgoing at all. Laundry was supposed to be delivered in the morning around 9 AM, that's what I was told and then after 3 calls (they never had the idea to call me back by themselves) I received my laundry around 1 or 2 PM. Check-In was also very, very long and unprofessional, they mixed up 2 bookings and it took them about 20 minutes to sort it out. Also when I wanted to change something on my reservation, they were not flexible at all. Hotel rooms are VERY noisy (you can hear your neighbours all the time). Internet was working maybe 50% of the time. Wouldn't go here again, sorry.
I paid for a premier suite. I checked in they down graded me to a smaller room . Not as nice . Then tried to charge me for breakfast which was included. They made up excuses why they gave my room to another couple. Bait and switch. Worst part is they continue to lie and make up excuses . But did or offered nothing to fix the problem
The hotel is not located in the cleanest area of town, however it is situated in a good location. It was only 15-20 min taxi drive to and from Airport with mild traffic. The hotel looked clean until i pulled the sheets back. Sheets had stains and didn't look washed very well. House cleaning was terrible! They did not get to my room until 3pm, actually had to find them and ask them to service my room. When the room was finally cleaned, they only made the bed and refilled the toilet paper. They did not empty any of the trash cans or replace towels on the floor. I found 2 roaches in the room during my stay.
Worst experience by far in a hotel, the room was unclean with pieces of hair on the floor, the glass that held shampoos in the shower was missing. After checking out I was charged for a "missing glass" in the bathroom that was never there.
We booked a room good for 3 pax but the bed is only for 2 pax and asked us to pay php1,500 for extra bed. They should offer a room good for 3 pax if the client put 3 guests in the booking
Not really a four stay hotel but a decent, recently built, 3 (or let's say a two and a half) star. The only four star part is the awesome buffet breakfast definitely awesome by Filipino standards). There is a decent size pool but somewhat dull. Actually the entire hotel is a bit dull with very little vibe. Rooms are adequate, nothing to write home about (and in my view, inner soundproofing is lacking). I cold book this hotel again if the price is advantageous.
This hotel has a wonderful facade. The lobby, restaurant, elevators, hallways , and room all appear very clean modern and tasteful. I was very excited for our stay here. Unfortunately the staff needs a lift more training and the facade is in need of maintenance. Upon arrival the front desk gave us two coupons for free breakfast (which we did not pay for). So the following morning we were shocked when half way through our breakfast the server change and told us that we owe 800 pesos each for the meal! Im amazed that they would do this. In particular waiting until we were already eating to inform us that the person that checked is in was mistaken to give us coupons for breakfast and that we must now pay for the meal. I would not have eaten at the hotel because the options were mostly steamed cabbage etc... So the only reason we went there was because the hotel gave it to us for free (turns out that was a scam). When we went to leave ther dining area the server held the door closed until we provided our room number (which was on the coupon...) then walked then walked away audio girlfriend had to open the door for herself. The staff here had very poor manners. We also ordered a 2 hour in room couples massage. The therapists did not have massage tables and so had us lie on the bed. Not the best way to get massaged. But worst was that they were talking and laughing with each other the entire time. The room looks nice but had several loose fixtures and water stains on ceiling.
Good value - basic room, clean, decent breakfast options. Not much near hotel but location is a convenient taxi ride (~150-200 pesos) away from main tourists attractions.
It was overall a nice stay. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming. Food selection for breakfast was quite nice.
The hotel is modern and somewhat clinical looking and located down a side street which taxis struggle to find. We booked the room for two adults and one child sharing one bed. We found the bed to be rather small for 3 compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast was rather limited with unusual flavour juices which my daughter refused to drink. Had there been mango or orange juice then there would be no problem. Although we booked the room for 3 people, we were only given breakfast for 2 so I went without. We had a dip in the pool but it was cold. Is it asking too much for it to be warm? The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Ayala Mall so quite convenient for a bit of shopping or for restaurants.
We stayed her for $55 a night. went to another place for $5 a night cheaper because Mezzo was booked out. We then came straight back here and stayed for three more bookings than we expected. The hotel is like brand new. So clean and the staff are fantastic. And Mezzo hotel is in Mabello which is a really good area. Fantasic night club 100m away. #4 blocks walking is one of the best shopping and dining areas in town. Seriously, for the price, this has to be one of the best hotels in Cebu. The rooms are fantastic. We have travelled all over Thailand and now in the Philipeens and this is the niceest hotel on our trip so far and its only like USD$55 a night. I give a huge recommendation to anyone looking or a nice place to stay in a good part of town in CEBU. Excellent. 5 Stars.
Clean rooms and complete toiletries! Appreciate availability of sleepers!
Nice, clean, comfortable hotel, and the eatery place has great display. It's a beautiful hotel, but just needs improvement on the seasoning of the hot food entrees which all had sweetness to their seasoning.
Room was nice, comfy, and clean. More importantly it was priced very well. The eatery was set up beautifully, but we weren't too fond of the hot food selection and especially the seasoning which were all the same sweetness taste to them. So both days I ended up eating French toast which was not stocked up the first day and the second day it was like a regular toast. We'd probably stay here again only because it was a nice and clean hotel and priced right. Hopefully they would take surveys on what the customer expect or want in the future for their breakfast food selection.
The hotel is new and looks modern and clean. There were few minor issues here and there (probably because they are still new), but they were promptly addressed. The personnel was helpful and eager to assist us and make things right. We stayed there with the family and re-booked few times. It was a good deal with the breakfast included. Though I wouldn't pay the walk-in price (400 pesos) for it. The pool is small but was good enough for the kids. Pool towels are available but you have to ask. The gym was OK but not great.
