Poor WiFi especially on TV Not able to have a movie night !

Excellent furniture, The location, The facilities.

The only thing I can mention is the late check in @16:00. But it is was not a big deal anyway.

We only stayed one night, as such the requirements as t how to leave the property seemed a little excessive (we were there for less than 18 hours) and the additional fee for the dog seemed a bit excessive

It was way better than photos suggested, so spacious and an excellent location.

Bathrooms could do with some tlc but it wasn't an issue.

The complex is really pretty and well cared for. The staff are so helpful too.

It was a really warm weekend and I'm glad we brought our fans from home as there weren't any fans we could borrow and the apartment was really warm.

Veel ruimte, alles schoon en van alles aanwezig. Genoeg bedden en twee badkamers. Een balkon en een terras. Heerlijk uitbouwhoekje met 2 heerlijke fauteuils. Grote eettafel met fijne comfortabele eetstoelen. 2 fijne banken, alles was fijn. Goed ingericht!

Het was wat warm in het appartement boven en wat lastig om af te koelen. Een ventilator was fijn geweest, airco nog heerlijker.

Clean and close to centre of Bowness

We arrived earlier then expected, however our apartment was ready so we were given the keys earlier which was great as it was a very hot day and we had taken our family dog Daisy with us and it was a long journey. The area was lovely and clean and our apartment was easy to find with our own designated parking space.

The only thing that we found annoying was the extractor fan in the upstairs bathroom was very loud.

Amazing apartment and superb location. Great friendly helpful staff and very responsive to messages. Each apartment has its own parking space which is great.

It’s not really the fault of the property but depending on your vehicle some parking spots can be tight - say a mini van depending on your apartment could be tight but as I saw that’s not their issue. Also, 10am check out seems a bit early but I get that’s to allow cleaning

Amazing views in an incredible location, easy to walk to local shops, pubs and restaurants. Peaceful location with easy parking and a great accommodation. plenty of space and well equipped property

External windows need a clean , outside patio areas on both floors full of cobwebs and felt a little neglected . Wouldn’t stop me coming back again though and didn’t effect the stay.

We had no hot water, arrived Sunday morning 11am , lady on reception was very helpful, we knew we wouldn’t be able to get in but we were going on a walk. Arrived back around 6 unpacked the car and just wanted a hot bath. Frustrating and disappointing that only had freezing cold water, left a message with reception , no call back or no one came over check , we were right across the drive , walking again Monday so wasn’t around but we got back and nothing had been done , wasn’t happy about having to mess around with it ourselves. This happened to friends of ours another time when we stayed here.

Staff very welcoming & helpful. Accommodation very spacious & well set out for our family group, comfortable hideaway sofa bed. Quiet, well-kept grounds. Quiet location, but only a short walk from the lake/pier,/shops/restaurants etc.

The cottage was clean, the location was easy to find and close to the town. The instructions for arrival after reception closed were really easy to follow.

There was no fan for the unusually hot weather, and limited outside space for children and dog. It would have been helpful to have a fenced off area outside for our dog. There was also no washing machine or dish washer in the property and the fridge / freezer was small for a family of 4.

The shop didn't sell swimming accessories. It does say in the booklet hat it sells swimming costumes but all there is is snacks and drinks. The parking situation because the spaces outside of the apartments dont have numbers on so you don't know which space to park in and people kept swapping parking spaces.

Great location and very short walk into Bowness. Designated parking space so you could go further afield if wanted and come back knowing you could park. Staff are lovely, kids play area was great and would stay again.

The overall locality. It was spacious and dog friendly.

The additional £50 that we had to pay for our dog. We didn’t see this at the time of booking. Also, we were not able to use the facilities(spa/pool) etc. at the Lakeside hotel. They offered an alternative, but it was a short drive away and it was very busy.

Good location just a few minutes walk from the centre and the apartments had a nice community feel.

Few marks on carpets but overall was clean and nice accommodation.

Thought able to use indoor pool facility at Lakes Hotel few yards from accommodation Now have to drive to Health Centre where pool and changing facilities disappointing .

Excellent location, it was absolutely spotless clean with everything you needed utensils wise, and then tea coffee milk etc, all cleaning products were provided, brilliant that you can take pets, however i would say £50 is steep for one dog to stop. The two ladies on reception were fantastic went above and beyond to help us with parking as we were in a motorhome which was big they went out their way to try and get us a spot to park near the apartment which they managed to sort for us they were so helpful! Thank you would definitely stay again

They charge £50 for up-to 2 pets if there is only one pet then i think £25 is ample so we had one dog and got charged £50

Clean room and all the amenities you could require including good WIFI a good bath/shower and a smart TV. We really enjoyed how accessible everything was with easy parking. Also the booze from the reception was chilled and was really well priced.

There was a service charge for taking my dog with me of £50. I did take my own crate and was in the property for less than 24 hours, so a bit of a kick on what would have been a really good stay. I understand some pets can cause issues, however, I really don't see how the £50 was justified. I think a deposit system would suffice with you possibly paying a portion of the £50 rather than the whole thing.

Excellent property, walking distance from town and fully equipped kitchen. Had an amazing 4 nights stay with family. EV charger was very handy and helpful.

Some important items were missing such as a frying pan and salt and pepper were out. This sounds trivial but is actually something to add to the rooms that would make a difference. I also found a lot of information missing from the description. If you have a bath then it takes 2 hrs before there is enough hot water for anyone to then have a shower. I also hated that every message I received from the company told me how much I would be fined if I did not comply with their instructions around tidiness, bin procedures etc. it even stressed it in the in house paperwork. It was way over the top and was not appreciated! Also I recommend not to buy from the shop as I got charged almost £6 for a carton of orange juice!! The company have a nice product but much to learn about customer service

Location was great, staff friendly, clean apartment and plenty of room.

Sounds silly but the bannister hand rail sticks out and me and the other guests kept banging our arms on it. I have a huge bruise on my arm now. Also the parking is a bit small and tight.

The property didn’t smell very fresh when we entered and there was staining to the fabric of some of the furniture . Bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned by side of toilet.

Being threatened with £75 fines for not emptying the bin on a placard in the kitchen area didn't sit well with me at all. I have ADHD & I am naturally clean anyway so I would have left the place clean and tidy regardless, but I believe it's not up to the hosts to invoke such a fine for not taking out a bin containing 3 tea bags - seems too controlling. Also the £50 added costs for having a dog, overnight, unless our animal shit everywhere / rubbing it in to the curtains etc or pissed on the floor (which is what the deposit is supposed to cover) how the heck would it cost £50 to clean what! This isn't a reflection on the stay as there are no issues I just don't agree with these policies.

Kitchen was great, and liked the layout of the apartment, close to centre and lake,

The sheets on the bed had stains , looked like make up possibly something else on the bottom sheet and pillow, the coffee table leg was wobbly. Advertises Advertised a swimming pool but is not on the site. Make this clearer
