Waking up so close to the sea was simply magical. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and throughout our entire stay, everything felt effortless, comfortable and beautifully maintained. What made our experience truly exceptional, however, was the outstanding staff. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming, attentive and genuinely kind. The level of hospitality was remarkable – professional yet personal, making us feel not simply like hotel guests, but truly cared for. This kind of service is rare and deserves special recognition. And then there is the restaurant – an experience in itself. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour and prepared with exceptional attention to quality. Dining here became one of the highlights of our stay. The combination of wonderful cuisine, beautiful surroundings and impeccable service made every meal feel special. There are many beautiful hotels, but very few places have that unique ability to make you genuinely sad to leave. This is one of them. A spectacular seaside location, exceptional food, wonderful atmosphere and, above all, extraordinary people who clearly put their heart into what they do. We left with beautiful memories and one certainty: we will absolutely return. Overall, we had a nice experience. First of all, almost all of the staff members were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating whenever communication allowed (more on this in the negative points below). We really liked the location of the hotel. It is not particularly close to Heraklion city centre, which was actually what we wanted, but the city is still easily reachable by taxi at a reasonable price. There are also city buses available within about a 7–8 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has its own beachfront area with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. One thing worth mentioning—although I would not consider this a negative point about the hotel itself—is that the beach and sea were quite windy during most of our stay, with fairly large waves. If you are not a confident swimmer, you may not always feel comfortable swimming there. On the positive side, the breeze made the heat much more pleasant while relaxing on the beach. We were given a corner room with a sea view, and the view was terrific. Being on the corner also meant that we got plenty of wind, which we personally really enjoyed. The room was comfortable overall, although it was showing some signs of wear and tear in places (more on this below). Housekeeping was good and reliable. Our toiletries were replenished every day, and the bins were emptied daily, so we had no issues in that regard. The balcony doors and windows also provided surprisingly good sound insulation. There was a restaurant directly in front of our room, but once the doors were closed, we could barely hear the music from outside. The air conditioning worked reliably throughout our stay and was not excessively loud. Finally, their homemade lemonades and a soft drink called Cicada were highlights of our dinners. Some of the dinner dishes were also very tasty, although unfortunately our overall experience with the food was more mixed, as explained below.

As someone with dietary restrictions, I found the food difficult to navigate. Neither the breakfast buffet nor the half-board menu listed ingredients or dietary labels (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher, alcohol-free, etc.), so we regularly had to ask the staff what we could eat. They were generally very helpful and accommodating, but having to clarify or negotiate alternatives at almost every meal added unnecessary effort to a relaxing holiday. The half-board menu was also quite repetitive and became unexciting after about three days. Vegetarian main dish options were sometimes missing altogether and required modifications. For longer stays, I would recommend the à la carte menu or trying restaurants nearby or in Heraklion instead. Communication occasionally made this more difficult. While some waiters spoke very good English, others struggled with questions or requests beyond what was directly written on the menu. The dinner music was also not to our taste. We actually normally like many of the songs played there, but the electronic/techno-style remixes were distracting and sometimes made us leave dinner earlier. The room was comfortable but showed signs of wear and could use some maintenance. The curtains were sun-discoloured at places, some furniture was dented, and the refrigerator door did not close properly. The bathroom needed particular attention: the shower head was rusty, the toilet seat would not stay in place properly, and water from the walk-in shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Overall, we still had a pleasant stay thanks to the location, sea view, beachfront, housekeeping, and friendly staff. However, the food experience—particularly for guests with dietary restrictions—and the room maintenance could be improved.

Sehr leckeres und vielfältiges Frühstück. Halbpension mit sehr gutem 4-Gänge-Menü, auch abwechslungsreich und sehr schmackhaft. Sushi und Hummer a la carte sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Strand und Strandliegen sehr angenehm, jedoch in unserer Zeit viel Wind und Steine am Einstieg ins Wasser.

Τα δωμάτια θέλουν ανανέωση. Το πρόγευμα πολύ καλό αλλά το φαγητό στο εστιατόριο ιδικά το ψήσιμο δεν ήτανε ωραίο. Over cooked.

El restaurante en la playa y las hamacas y sombrillas. Teníamos MP y tanto el desayuno con zumos naturales y bastante variedad como la cena muy bien el personal del desayuno muy amable .

En la cena a pesar de ser buena y bastante cantidad,si estás varios dias falta variedad. La música durante la cena está muy alta, cuesta mantener una conversación. Cuando te duchas se sale toda el agua.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren 7 Tage im Yianna Caravel und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Schon der Check-in verlief hervorragend. Obwohl wir deutlich früher angekommen sind, wurden unsere Koffer sicher an der Rezeption aufbewahrt. So konnten wir die Zeit bis zur Zimmerfreigabe entspannt am Strand verbringen. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders die Terrasse mit dem direkten Blick aufs Meer war ein Traum. Jeden Morgen mit dem Rauschen der Wellen aufzuwachen, war einfach unvergesslich. Außerdem gab es einen Kühlschrank, Fernseher, einen großen Kleiderschrank sowie sogar ein Bügeleisen und ein Bügelbrett. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und bot eine große Auswahl an frischem Obst, Gemüse, Brot, Müsli, Tee und Kaffee. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre laktosefreie Milch. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, mit mehreren Gerichten zur Auswahl. Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Strand und bietet eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Besonders praktisch fanden wir, dass man an der Rezeption Strandhandtücher gegen eine kleine Leihgebühr ausleihen konnte. Die Sonnenliegen am Strand waren für Hotelgäste kostenlos. Die Zimmerreinigung war jeden Tag hervorragend. Es gab täglich frische Handtücher und das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant. Als schöner Abschluss wurde uns am Abreisetag beim frühen Check-out sogar noch ein Frühstück zum Mitnehmen vorbereitet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Excellent hôtel, plage et restaurant. Le personnel est professionnel et agréable.

Nous vous déconseillons la chambre 306 car nous avions un hôtel d'en face avec son tuyau d'évacuation de cuisine et toutes ses odeurs et graisses finissent dans la chambre. Nous avons dû laisser les fenêtres fermées afin de ne pas imprégner nos vêtements d'odeur de cuisine. Sauf dès 1 h du matin ou on pouvait enfin avoir de l'air frais jusqu'à l'ouverture des cuisines.

Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Strandbereich ist auch sehr schön.

Es ist etwas seltsam das es zum Schlafen nur ein Laken mit einer unbezogenen Decke gibt. Außerdem könnte es ein bisschen sauberer sein aber im großen und ganzen ist die Sauberkeit in Ordnung

Ein sehr schöner Strand mit guten Liegen und nettem Restaurant. Das Zimmer das wir hatten war ok mit etwas kleinem Bad. Die freistehende Wanne im Zimmer könnte man für ein größeres Bad oder getrenntes WC opfern. Das Frühstück war ausreichend mit der Möglichkeit Eierspeisen zu bestellen. Bei Brot und Brötchen gäbe es die Möglichkeit das Angebot auszuweiten.

Wenig. Am Strand wäre eine gute Dusche und Umkleidekabine sinnvoll.

avevo prenotate una junior suite, ma il gabinetto era molto stretto, non capisco come una persona "forte" l'ha fatto! Rapporto con staff era un po' freddo, ma non era mai colpo di me, ho provato per cambiare ogni giorno in 10 giorni. Non so cos'è capitato nel rapporto con staff e clientela primo di me??? Force ci sono troppo turisti nella Greggia.

Direkt am Strand, sehr freundliches und unkompliziertes Personal. Der Chef war jeden Tag dort und legte selber Hand an beim Aufbau der Strandbar.

Das sie es in der ältesten Zivilisation Europas nicht schaffen ein Leistungsfähiges Abwassersystem zu installieren finde ich etwas peinlich. Das Hotel ist relativ neu, die Fäkalien werden regelmässig abgepumpt. Es gäbe also durchaus technische Möglichkeiten, dass man benutztes WC-Papier nicht separat im Abfalleimer entsorgen müsste. Ich empfand das als eklig.

Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. La chambre était propre et l'intérieur de l'hôtel est propre et bien décoré. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié.

Il n'y a pas de parking. Il faut se garer dans la rue, où on peut et les abords ne sont pas propres. Une des vues de l'hôtel donne sur un terrain vague abandonné avec une caravane. On voit également la centrale électrique. Dommage car la plage est belle sinon.

Door een vlucht vertraging hadden wij dit snel gevonden op booking.com om 22:00 s'nachts. Super ontvangen, het restaurant was nog open tot middenacht. Heerlijk plek met privé strand en zeer lekker en uitgebreid menu. Prijs was super en de porties waren zeer grote en echt top kwaliteit. Het Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, over alles is nagedacht verse eieren , pannenkoeken etc kon je bestellen. prosecco, special koffie, Griekse koffie en verse jus ook. Alle personeel waren geweldig, vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gewoon aardig. Onze nieuwe vlucht ging pas om 20:00 s'avonds maar Wij konden onze baggage laten, de hele dag op strand liggen ( bedden waren volledig matrassen) en zelfs mogen wij douchen. ( handdoeken te huur voor 2,50) en daarna hebben ze een taxi voor ons besteld. Zo ontzettend verast bij alles hier dat wij zeker willen terug komen naar Crete en autohuren en hier logeren voor een week. Oh en het is Adults only !

NIKS. perfecte plek hier. Ik kan alleen zeggen dat het was een nacht en wij heb de omgeving niet ontdekt, dus dat kunnen wij niet boordelen. maar het hotel is boutique en prachtig

Krásné ubytování přímo na pláži. Srdečný personál s typickou řeckou otevřeností. Čisté pokoje, každý s velkou terasou, v termínu ke konci sezóny jen pár hostů. Fantastické bohatá snídaně: slaná i sladká varianta s místními dobrotami (nakládané pomeranče, 2 druhy řeckého jogurtu, med přímo z pláství, ovoce, zelenina, nakládané sýry v olivovém oleji, spinakopita, pečivo, sýry, uzeniny, vejce,...). Stejně jako večeře z místních kvalitních surovin servírované přímo u moře.

Der Blick aus dem Zimmer direkt aufs Meer war wunderschön. Das Frühstück war super. Sehr lecker, für jeden was dabei und kann täglich auch direkt am Strand genossen werden. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich. Eine Kaffeevariante pro P. aus der Siebträgermaschine ist inklusive. Das Restaurant an sich ist auch sehr gut. Speisen sind preiswert und auf einem hohen Niveau. Geld wird hier offensichtlich mit den Getränken gemacht, gilt aber für die ganze Gegend. Die Liegen sind sehr bequem ( sehr dicke Auflagen). Wir haben diverse Strände besucht, aber die Liegen waren nirgends so gut wie hier. Parken kann man direkt auf einem Parkplatz gegenüber, falls man mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Die vielen guten Bewertungen haben meiner Meinung nach ihre Berechtigung.

Didn’t expect this hotel to be this good! Beautiful, cozy, clean, modern and every single person was so welcoming. Also the beach area and service there is great. The sea is amazing - beautiful colour, refreshing, sand beach, mountain views. Food at the dinner (half board) is exceptional. Thank you for the amazing holiday!

Everything is great about the hotel. Be careful if you like to pet cats, some of them are not so friendly.

Small I’m a good way. Right on a great beach. Excellent good and the staff was first rate.

The exceptional service. You are never refused, they will constantly do their best to meet your needs and requests, and it's done with love and genuine care. Other great perks: private beach, awesome dining room, lovely design, private hot tub, good food. Worth mentioning is the great restaurant of the hotel - great food and cocktails for reasonable prices.

The coffee wasn't to our taste but others seemed to enjoy it. Also, the toilet door has a gap so just be ready to know your partner on a new level :p

Always friendly and courteous staff. Large and delicious breakfast (pan cakes, fried eggs...). Good cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice to make yourself.

A szálloda közel volt a tengerhez. Nagyon hangulatos hely, kedves kiszolgálás, isteni finom vacsorák.

La colazione è ottima, scelta molto vasta, prodotti tipici e di qualità, personale sempre molto disponibile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Sicuramente un modo perfetto per iniziare la giornata. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa con splendida vista mare e montagna, un grande terrazzo sui due lati con balcone in vetro per ammirare il paesaggio anche al risveglio o prima di addormentarsi. La spiaggia con lettini in legno di ottima fattura e un materasso altissimo per un relax totale ti invitava a rimanere fino a tardi. Molto apprezzati anche i cadeaux di benvenuto, un graditissimo massaggio relax ed un birillo di champagne. L'angolo Zen all'ingresso con l'acqua che scroscia in una piccola piscina e l'arredamento etnico locale oltre ad essere molto ricercato dà un tocco di eleganza e di pace ai nuovi arrivati. Hotel ideale per chi ricerca classe e relax.

Quarto limpo e com varanda. Staff atencioso. Tem espreguiçadeiras do hotel junto ao mar. Mas o melhor foi o menu Half Aboard com seleção pelo chefe Christos Lapas que todas as noites ao jantar nos surpreendia com óptimas iguarias, muitas tradicionais da Grécia.

O mar junto ao hotel não era o mais convidativo

Suite 203 mit grossem Balkon und wunderbarem Meerblick . Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, mit lokalen und internationalen Speisen. Strand direkt vor dem Hotel mit eigenen Hotelliegen und Service (Essen und Trinken) direkt am Strand. Stadtmitte ist mit Linienbus oder Taxi schnell zu erreichen.

Es fehlte eine Dusche am Strand, um nach dem Baden im Meer zu duschen. Es war nur eine öffentliche Dusche in der Nähe, die allerdings am Nachmittag nur noch ein paar Wassertropfen hergab, aber es gab ja die Dusche auf dem Zimmer.

Don’t let initial lack of kerb appeal when arriving put you off. This is a fantastic place to stay. Staff who love their jobs, a chef whose menu draws locals to eat in the evenings, super comfy beds in rooms and on the beach which is also on your doorstep. Highly recommend!

Beautiful resort on a lovely beach. Had an amazing sea view from my room. Breakfast was included and decent. Complimentary massage included but we didn’t manage to check it out. Free parking across from the resort. About a 15-20min drive from Heraklion city. Highly recommend.

La musique permanente et un peu trop forte partout : dans la salle du petit-déjeuner, au restaurant et même sur la plage. Dommage aussi que la plage ne soit pas non-fumeurs .

Etablissement très propre, bonne literie, beau buffet pour le petit déjeuner continental avec une proposition d'oeufs variés et de pancakes. Transats confortables directement sur la plage et restaurant de très bonne qualité, nous nous sommes régalés !

Pas de parking privatif en fonction des horaires il faut tourner pour trouver une place ou aller sur un parking privé d'un autre hôtel ce qui n'est pas confortable

Friendly staff and exceptional breakfasts. We loved the loungers on the beach where we spent most of our time and could order food and cocktails. Our room was very clean with a stunning view.

They didn't have a great parking situation during our stay which was a bit irritating but that's not something that would prevent us from going back.
