The staff at Lantana were very friendly and helpful .Continuously asking if everything was ok.There were free bicycles for use which we used alot as we could just ride along the river front into the main town and The old town .They arranged a cycle tour for us also With Duc which I would have to say is one of the best tours we have done. Breakfast was a good variety as well and plenty of it .Thankyou to the wonderfull staff .Would diffenetly book again .It was great value for money

The room was not clean enough. And we saw a rat running in the lobby…. The location is far from the old city so you can only go by bike or taxi. The breakfast is basic.

Ma famille et moi avons passé un séjour merveilleux au Lantana. Nous y sommes déjà allés il y a 3 ans, et nous avions tellement aimé que nous sommes revenus. La vue de la rivière est tout simplement superbe, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Nous avons particulièrement aimé toute l’équipe du personnel qui est très chaleureuse, souriante et qui a été aux petits soins avec nous tout au long du voyage. Si nous avons la chance de revenir à Hoi An, nous reviendrons au Lantana sans hésiter.

Room was kind of small not much shelves space to stuff out. Streets were really tiny to get in if your driving a car, taxi drivers have to drive careful on the one way street

Lovely location, far enough from the hubbub of tourist ground zero but a pleasant walk along the river into town. Very close to many excellent cafes, restaurants, lanterns-making workshops, the central market, and the heritage houses of old town, but extremely quiet and peaceful. The resources on site were exceptional— a lovely pool and pool deck, largely shaded; an in house gym and very reasonably priced spa; a lovely front patio and entry hall; and a fantastic breakfast with a wide range of Vietnamese and western options everyday. Also, in house laundry for a very reasonable price, bikes free for use for cycling to the beach; and a supremely helpful staff. Also, most comfortable bed I have slept in in all of Vietnam!

Everything it’s definitely a boutique hotel. The staff are amazing. The Facilities and the property is very nice.

I wish it were a little bit closer to the center of the city, but that’s a small thing you do have to catch a shuttle back-and-forth

Lovely location with the most amazing staff. Lisa organised a cake and decorated our room for my husband’s birthday as a surprise. Clean hotel with good facilities. Reception very helpful in booking tours and travel information. Would definitely stay again .

Minor thing but we found the bed too hard, but we are used to a memory foam mattress. The manager told us to mention the mattress and told us we could have called the reception for a “topper”.

The room was beautifully decorated with a comfy bed. We had a connecting room with our kids which was perfect. The view on the river was fantastic. The staff were all so lovely. They helped us get a bike for our son who needed a kids bike.

Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us. So friendly and welcoming. Hotel style was old style and renovated in keeping with this. Very comfortable and clean.

Probably just a little too far to walk regularly into the old town but it was extremely hot when we were there. About 25 mins. Grabs were always readily available for a lift and very cheap. Bikes were available for free as an alternative

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk along the river to the old city or you can use the shuttle provided. There are many restaurants & cafes close by. The rooms are clean& comfortable and good breakfast is provided. The staff are welcoming, friendly & extremely helpful. Thank you to Lisa, Alice,Hanna, Daisy, Min & John & the housekeeping staff

Tout, déjà l'accueil était personnalisé et très complet. Nous avons été très bien reçues. L'établissement est très beau, le lobby, la salle de restaurant, la piscine, le tout, à taille humaine. Le personnel est extraordinaire, toujours à notre écoute et facilitant toutes nos demandes. Les chambres sont juste magnifiques, confortables et très propres. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hôtel et le recommandons.

La habitación con terraza al río es muy amplia y agradable, las fotos hacen justicia. Camas cómodas. La distancia al centro a pie está a unos 25min, en bici a 10min.

El hotel cuenta con bicis gratis, cogimos 2 días y están algo descuidadas. La piscina tiene buen tamaño pero las zonas de alrededor para hamacas es limitada, no da para mucha gente a la vez, si bien es cierto que de 3 días solo uno no había sitio donde sentarse al salir porque 2 familias grandes ocupaban todo.

Quiet, nice rooms, away from super busy old town but an easy bike ride/shuttle bus away (both provided by the hotel). Great breakfast. Excellent service, especially Lisa from reception went over and beyond helping me with everything I needed or wished for during my stay.

The location is great. The atmosphere is so good (Vietnamese are so accommodating and Lisa so good in English). The room is so clean and smells fresh.

Aan de waterkant is het lekker rustig met voorbij tuffende bootjes, uit de drukte van de stad. Op de leenfiets of betaalde scooters van het hotel ben je zo in het oude centrum. Het vriendelijke personeel, zwembad, spa, fijne kamers met goed bed en douche maken het erg comfortabel. Het uitgebreide ontbijt en mooie afwerking maken het een luxe geheel.

Er is niet voor al de gasten plek aan het zwembad, als ze volgeboekt zijn. Daarentegen hebben wij hebben er echter geen last van ondervonden.

Location was good as easy to access other places including Hoi An old town. The pool was great to cool down. The staff were super helpful sorting tickets for the Memories show that we could easily walk to as well as a taxi to the airport and checking we were OK with everything. A really great stay at a super price.

I'd like a cup of tea in a mug that was stronger with semi skimmed milk.

The hotel is located on the river a little over 1 km from the east side of the Old Town. I appreciated the location, which permits one to walk to and from the Old Town along the river bank, which is a picturesque walk. One can also catch a Grab. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful, including in providing information about activities and services in Hoi An. The hotel had a restaurant which provided a satisfactory breakfast and was available for other meals during the day. The hotel was designed and fitted out in an attractive style. The hotel rooms were a comfortable size and clean. While the hotel did not have some features of larger and fancier 5 star hotels, the hotel was comfortable, conveniently located and offered value for money.

There is nothing that I did not like. While the swimming pool was not as visually appealing as swimming pools at fancier hotels, I appreciated that the hotel had a decent-sized swimming pool that was popular among hotel guests to relax during the hot days.

清潔で綺麗な部屋、フレンドリーなスタッフさん、川が見える部屋で眺めもよかったです。 疲れすぎてルームサービスのごはんを頼みましたがそれも美味しかったです！朝食も種類が豊富でした。

隣の部屋（カップル）の音がかなり聞こえてきました 。カップルということで、あまり聞きたくない音（言葉を濁すと）が丸聞こえで、部屋の交換を頼みましたが、満室とのことで難しかったです。 わたしは一人旅だったから良かったですが、親子で泊まったりしていたらかなりきまづかったかと。。

للأسف كانت تجربتي سيئة جدًا، والفندق لا يستحق المبلغ الذي دفعناه مقابل الإقامة. مستوى النظافة سيئ للغاية، ولدي العديد من الصور التي توثق عدم نظافة الغرفة والمرافق. كما أن موقع الفندق غير مناسب، فالشارع ضيق جدًا ولا تستطيع جميع السيارات الوصول إلى مدخل الفندق، مما سبب لنا صعوبة كبيرة. ومن أكثر الأمور إزعاجًا أن الفندق طلب منا تسجيل الخروج الساعة 3:30 فجرًا، وهو أمر غير منطقي وغير مقبول. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كانت عاملات النظافة يطرقن باب الغرفة كل صباح، وإذا لم نرد يقمن بفتح الباب علينا ونحن نائمون، حتى مع وضع لافتة “يرجى عدم الإزعاج” على الباب، وهذا يعد انتهاكًا واضحًا للخصوصية. كما أن المرافق العامة تفتقر إلى التكييف، حيث يتم إطفاؤه، مما يجعل المكان غير مريح إطلاقًا. بشكل عام، الفندق لا يرقى إلى المستوى المعلن عنه، ولا يتناسب أبدًا مع السعر المدفوع.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – Exceptional hospitality and one of the best hotel stays I’ve experienced. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. The team provided all the information I needed before I arrived, making everything straightforward and stress-free. Check-in was smooth, efficient and welcoming. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is its people. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but the warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality from every member of staff here were on another level. It never felt rehearsed or simply part of the job—it felt completely genuine. I’d especially like to thank Hannah, the General Manager, and Lisa, the Reception Manager. Both would regularly come over at breakfast to ask how I was, whether I was enjoying my stay, and if there was anything I needed. As someone travelling alone, those small conversations and personal interactions meant far more than they probably realised. They made me feel genuinely welcome rather than just another guest. Lisa was absolutely amazing throughout my stay. She went above and beyond on several occasions, even arranging fresh fruit for me when I asked. We also had some lovely conversations—even about skincare—which made me smile and added such a personal touch to the experience. It’s those little moments that you remember long after you’ve checked out. V, on reception, was equally fantastic. Every time I saw her she greeted me with a smile, was incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything I needed. I’d also like to mention the trainee receptionist (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name). She was excellent—professional, enthusiastic and genuinely eager to help. She has a wonderful attitude and will no doubt have a very successful future in hospitality. One thing that really stood out was that the staff remembered my name. Every day I was greeted personally, which made such a difference, especially when travelling on my own. That level of attention and care is something you simply don’t experience very often. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food. The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with a fantastic view, and the rooftop bar was another highlight. Even the housekeeping team were always smiling, friendly and happy to help whenever I needed anything. I understand there were some renovation works taking place during my stay, but honestly, they didn’t affect my visit at all. These things happen, and the hotel managed them so well that they never became an issue. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore the city while providing a comfortable place to return to after a day out. What I’ll remember most isn’t the room or even the facilities—it’s the people. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine care created an atmosphere that made me feel completely at home. Every member of the team went above and beyond, and that is what turned a great hotel into an unforgettable one. Thank you to Hannah, Lisa, V, the trainee receptionist and the entire team. You should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve created. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. A thoroughly deserved 10 out of 10.

Recommend a 5th floor river view with balcony. Very comfortable and spacious room. 30 min walk to Old town or easy ride on free bicycles available. River in front of hotel made every day interesting, watching boats and fishing going on. Pool was lovely to cool off in after exploring beautiful Hoi An. Breakfast was deli, with many options.. The staff were a stand out and Lisa, the office manager spoke excellent English and was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is fabulous....far enough away from old town to be out of the noise but close enough to take it in when you want. Its not a huge hotel so your not going to be inundated with noise and people there. The staff were wonderful, always asking how our stay is and what we had planned. Upon arrival Lisa gave us suggestions and a map, she was a star. The beds and pillows could be a tad .ore comfortable

The pool was hot. After having thr sun on it all day it was like slipping into a warm bath. Might be worth paying to have an awning that you can pull out ans retract...pools are nice to see feom your room, but they are meant to be used, and on a 40 degree day I dont want a hot pool!

スタッフさんは親切丁寧な対応でした。 部屋の清掃も概ね問題はありません。 朝食は美味しかった。 徒歩圏内に飲食店やwinmart（コンビニ）があった。 自転車のフリーレンタルがある（気温が高く、利用していない)。 ベランダで川を行き交う舟を眺められた。

シャワーの水量がやや不足。 ホイアンの旧市街まで徒歩20〜25分はかかる。

Everything, staff were amazing

We stayed in a 2-bedroom connecting room with our teenagers and enjoyed a beautiful river view. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. A special shout-out to Ms. Lisa for her kindness and hands-on approach. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing thoughtful tips and helpful suggestions about places to visit and things to do. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel & spa for 2 nights during our trip to Hoi An,Vietnam. The hospitality is exceptional, with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located within 15-20 minutes riverside walk to the Old Town. Even they offered free bike to ride or they gave free shuttle sevice to the city. The rooms are very comfortable and a river-view balcony is well worth booking. The staffs are helpful,kind and the service during the B’fast is truly thankful. A wonderful & memorable stay for us,highly recommend 👍

Beautiful hotel set in a very quiet area overlooking the river with great views. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you especially John and Min who were the stars! Pool was great with plenty of shade when it was really hot. Rooms were clean and spacious and had a lovely view from the balcony. Breakfast was great! Plenty of choice and great service. The free bikes were so useful too. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The staff lead by their manager was great . They were super helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of selection and it was good to be able to have food at anytime. It’s a fair walk to the old city but easy to grab it. Thanks to Helen from reservations ! Outstanding service. Also to Elfy , Lisa and John .

It's a bit removed from the action. The booking.com map showed the hotel to be closer to the old town, than it actually is. It's 25 minutes if walk, but if you take the shuttle, it takes only 5-7 minutes to the edge of the old town.

The staff was really amazing and super helpful, they did so much to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The property itself was clean and had great amenities. The breakfast was delicious. It was in a quiet area but walkable to town.

The property is a little outside of the ancient town but that's what makes it more on the quiet side, however it is an easy walk or short taxi to the town.

This hotel was the nicest that we stayed in during our trip. The room was lovely with a spacious balcony, comfortable bed, and a very nice bathroom. The staff at the hotel were also extremely helpful, assisting us when our flight was delayed, making sure that the bikes we hired were ready, and welcoming us so kindly when we first arrived. The breakfast was amazing and they even put together breakfast boxes on our last morning as we had to leave very early for our flight. I liked the location as it was quieter than in the old town and was well situated in terms of cycling to the beach. It was also very special to be so close to the river. Thank you to everyone who made our time so special!

Die Lage am Fluss war super. Die Innenstadt war in 20 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück fand ich international - kein XL-Buffett, was auch nicht notwendig war - die Auswahl war sehr gut gewählt.

Lovely hotel and great facilities. Such a quiet part of town and a nice 20min walk to the Old Town. Elly on reception was wonderful. We had some issues with our flights and she went above and beyond to help get us on to another flight that same day. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location - near the town (approx 20min walk) yet far away from the loud noise. Amazing staff and customer service. Appreciated the free bicycles as this made it very quick and easy to get into town and explore the area. Room i got had a beautiful lake view. Breakfast was great and i didnt expect to be sung happy birthday at breakfast which was a beautiful surprise and thank you for the cake. Great facilities for a smaller hotel and pool was lovely.

Maybe the flooring needs mopping between stays as the floor was quite dirty when we walked around in socks Would appreciate 2 keycards as it gets very hot so would be nice to leave the AC on.

Lovely view from our balcony of the river. All Staff, but especially Lisa, the Front office manager. Use of free bikes to roam the local area. My recommendation for future guests for local spa is Sun Spa. We went 3 times in 4 days they were that good. For dining, I recommend Tuan and Little Flower. Both run by local families and the food was fresh and tasty. For coffee, particularly egg coffee, go to Khamy Cafe a few doors down. Beautiful garden setting with river view.

Nothing really. It is about a 20-25 minute walk along the river to old town but we did it only at night walking back as the 9pm shuttle was too early for us. There was a cooler breeze and a nice view of the passing boats so it wasn't hard. You can use the free shuttle, bikes or a cheap grab if you don't want to walk.
