The hotel property is really beautiful and well maintained and the rooms are quite large. We loved that bottles of water were offered to us every time we got back from somewhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Nanavida property in CDMX where bread and coffee was free so we assumed(and the guy at the reception told us that breakfast was complimentary) that breakfast was included. Unfortunately it was not and we were presented with a bill for the breakfast at the end of our stay even though on a couple of days my wife just drank coffee. Maybe something to note that breakfast is charged extra

La ubicación fantástica puedes ir andando a todos los sitios céntricos de la ciudad y por zonas bonitas y agradables. La habitación bonita y limpia, éramos 4 personas y se nos quedó un poco pequeña, pero suficiente para las dos noches que pasamos. El desayuno muy muy rico, la fruta deliciosa, el pan dulce riquísimo y el chocolate de Oaxaca un placer! Además el entorno del desayuno es muy agradable en el patio con luz y sombra. Nos encantó. El chico de recepción fue súper amable en todo momento y nos ayudó con varias cosas y dudas siempre con una sonrisa.

El agua caliente no funcionaba del todo bien, pero lo solucionaron muy rápido.

Nuestra estancia en Nana Vida Oaxaca fue fantástica, pero si hay algo que realmente queremos destacar es la extraordinaria atención y calidad humana de su personal. Un agradecimiento muy especial a Jorge, en recepción, y a Luz, en el restaurante, que nos atendieron de auténtico lujo. Su amabilidad fue exquisita desde el primer momento: siempre pendientes de nosotros, dispuestos a satisfacer cualquier petición con una sonrisa, ofreciéndonos alguna bebida de cortesía, pequeños regalos y, sobre todo, conversaciones amables que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Viajo bastante y me alojo de media en unos 10 hoteles al año, y sinceramente puedo decir que es muy difícil encontrar una atención mejor que la que recibimos en Nana Vida Oaxaca. Son esos pequeños detalles y, especialmente, las personas, los que convierten una buena estancia en un recuerdo inolvidable. Como muestra del nivel de atención que tienen con sus huéspedes, nuestro hijo se dejó olvidado un peluche en la habitación y, cuando ya nos habíamos marchado, se preocuparon de enviárnoslo por DHL. Un detalle que agradecemos enormemente y que dice muchísimo de la forma en que cuidan a sus clientes. Muchas gracias a Jorge, a Luz y a todo el equipo de Nana Vida por habernos hecho sentir tan bien durante nuestra estancia. ¡Seguid así durante muchos años! Espero que podamos reencontrarnos muy pronto en Oaxaca.

Il nostro hotel preferito di tutto il viaggio! Una struttura davvero bella e curata con tanti dettagli, soprattutto nelle splendide aree comuni. La camera era un po’ semplice, ma spaziosa, con un bagno moderno e tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Colazione ottima, con frutta fresca. Ma il vero punto di forza è il personale: semplicemente eccezionale. Sempre gentile, attento e disponibile, ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolati in ogni momento. Siamo davvero felici di aver scelto questo hotel e ci piacerebbe sicuramente tornarci. Grazie di cuore per la splendida ospitalità!

Una experiencia magnífica de principio a fin. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa y, sin duda, una de las cosas que más destacamos del hotel es la atención de todo su personal. Nos recibieron con regalos y detalles de bienvenida y esa atención se mantuvo durante toda la estancia: siempre pendientes de nosotros, ofreciéndonos agua, preguntándonos si necesitábamos cualquier cosa y ayudándonos y aconsejándonos cada vez que teníamos alguna duda sobre Oaxaca o sobre cómo aprovechar nuestra visita a la ciudad. Se nota que hay un interés genuino por cuidar al huésped y hacer que se sienta cómodo, algo que también demostraron en nuestra despedida con nuevos detalles que agradecimos muchísimo. Nos vamos con la sensación de haber estado realmente cuidados y de haber encontrado un lugar al que volver. Si regreso a Oaxaca, tengo clarísimo dónde me voy a alojar. Totalmente recomendable.

Un hotel diferente, con mucha personalidad y encanto. El personal es extraordinario, siempre atento, amable y muy detallista, haciendo que la estancia sea especialmente agradable. Además, está muy bien ubicado y cuenta con habitaciones amplias y cómodas. En definitiva, una experiencia muy recomendable.

En mi opinión, sería conveniente realizar cierta inversión (CAPEX) en los cuartos de baño. Durante los primeros días tuvimos algunos problemas con el agua caliente y, además, el agua de la ducha se filtraba por la mampara debido a un sellado mejorable. A nivel más personal, el suelo de las habitaciones no termina de convencerme, aunque se trata de una cuestión puramente estética y poco relevante en la valoración general.

The place is very nicely decorated, comfortable room updated with a large and beautiful shower, well located. The courtyard area has nice garden and vegetation. The staff is supper nice and they gave us some complementary gifts when we did the check out. Fruit, bread and a drink were included in the mornings. We forgot an item in the room and they called us immediately. Excellent service!

El personal es sumamente atento. te reciben con regalitos , te despiden con regalitos. Duarante la estancia tienes a tu disposicion dulces y agua. el desyuno te atienden personalmente para preparate lo que gustes. Muy limpio el cuarto y el baño. Nos dimos un masaje relajante que estuvi increible.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en el Nana Vida Oaxaca. Como grupo de 5 personas, reservamos dos habitaciones dobles que, a petición nuestra, estaban una al lado de la otra. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien decoradas, muy limpias y eran funcionales. El desayuno incluido era sencillo, pero delicioso. Había fruta fresca, jugos naturales, pan dulce y café o chocolate, a elección. Si se deseaba, también se podían pedir otros platillos por un costo adicional. El patio interior ofrecía un espacio ideal para pasar el rato por la tarde o al atardecer. Cada vez que pasábamos por la recepción, siempre nos ofrecían agua mineral embotellada u otras bebidas sin costo alguno. Además, había botanas y dulces típicos del país. Siempre respondían a nuestras preguntas con amabilidad. El hotel tiene una ubicación muy céntrica; se tarda solo unos 10 minutos a pie hasta el Zócalo, la iglesia de Santo Domingo o Jalatlaco. En general, realmente no faltó nada. Para nosotros, un 10 de 10!

Quizás el hotel no sea el más barato, pero volveríamos sin dudarlo.

This hotel is wonderful, an oasis in the heart of Oaxaca. From the moment we checked in we were well looked after by the extremely friendly and hospitable staff. It is a gorgeous setting with beautiful art throughout the public areas and the rooms. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot.

The hot water in the shower was a little temperamental.

Amazing location. Walking distance to everything. Still quiet at night. The staff is super friendly. Sitting in the morning in the courtyard reading a book they will come and serve you coffee and fresh fruit. We are a family of five from Denmark and had two rooms for three days. We can recommend the hotel to anyone!

The welcome gifts (soap, bracelet for my kid, taste of mezcal) were such a surprise and made us feel special. The departing gifts (shirt, coffee) were so unexpected! Thanks for going above and beyond.

The only reason I gave a 3 for my comfort is because the bed was a little hard for my preference - but everyone is different! My husband and kid were happy with the bed.

My family very much enjoyed our stay at NaNa Vida. The rooms are lovely and the open courtyard is a delightful spot for breakfast or relaxing during the day. The location is close to the central area without being totally crowded or overly touristy. The staff were very extremely nice and helpful.

Staff was incredible, always helpful and very nice. Especially Christian at front desk was amazing. Also the security guard working overnight was a great help (i forgot his name). They made sure we had everything we needed. Staff/Hotel even gave us a couple gifts which was very nice of them. We needed some toothpaste since i forgot it at home and they provided that with no extra cost. breakfast was delicious as well. Hotel looks beautifully maintained and the courtyard is so nice to have breakfast in.

I am pretty tall and the bed was a little small for me. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Lo que más nos gustó es la ubicación.El hotel está bien ubicado, en una calle céntrica y cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas. Es una casa bonita, con decoración rústica y en las habitaciones hay piezas de artesanos locales. Las camas son cómodas y amplias. Tiene un patio muy agradable donde se sirven los desayunos. El personal es sumamente atento y amable. Se nota el esfuerzo del hotel por agradar, dan un detalle de bienvenida y también de despedida. Pedimos cambio de habitación porque la que nos tocó era oscura y muy cerca de la cocina y nos dieron otra sin ningún problema, además de bonificar una noche por un fallo en el servicio de internet durante la estancia.

El baño de la habitación es bastante básico,no tiene presión de agua y huele a tubería. Señal wifi débil, aunque según nos indicaron debía de tratarse de un fallo puntual. Precio alto para la calidad de las habitaciones y del desayuno, se vende como hotel boutique pero no está al nivel de lo que sería un hotel boutique en otros lugares. Se corresponde más bien con un hotel sencillo con encanto. El personal, aunque amable , se nota que no es profesional de la hostelería, tanto por la indumentaria como por la forma de atender.

The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fresh options. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

The only minor issue was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Beautiful property and very helpful staff

Nana Vida stay was excellent with a great room, clean bathroom, and a great location close to everything. The atmosphere was so calm but luminous of culture and always felt safe. The staff greeted us with a super friendly demeanor and were always attentive of our needs. They gave us a map of all the places we should visit around town and even a gift at the end of our trip. We had a great stay and a good value for my few days stay in the hotel. I will be back!

After 'doing heritage Yucatan', we wanted a completely different non-historical hotel experience. NaNaVida completely fitted the bill. We loved the clean bright, young, vibrant, slightly off-beam vibe in the hotel in the common areas and rooms. In particular our spacious room had great modern furniture and colourful contemporary artwork by local artists, which contributed both a calming and energising atmosphere. The room and bathrooms were very clean, and stylish. It was also charming to have a bench outside the room overlooking trees and the central courtyard to sit in the cool of the evening.. The courtyard - used at breakfast - was shady and a good place to sit and read or plan your day. The hotel is on a busy street, but once through the gate and through to the foyer area and courtyard it was very quiet especially at night. It was conveniently located - walking distance from the major sights - cathedral, main square and near some of the best restaurants. . The staff were a young team who were very attentive, friendly, and spoke very good English, who were happy to interact with us, giving the place a slightly 'clubby' feel. We liked the arrival gift of soap in interesting scents. And we were so pleased that they found us a kettle to use in the room, and provided ice in the evening to cool tired feet.

Very little. A small thing - we requested an extra case stand and we would have loved to have had a fridge in the room without changing the designed look of the room. Only a swimming pool could have made it even better! But there is currently no room.

Beautiful boutique hotel in central Oaxaca city. Lovely clean rooms with unique art, and a wonderful garden courtyard for breakfast. Will be staying here next time we visit.

This is a cute little hotel with a tropical vibe due to its leafy central courtyard full of birds and mango trees. The staff are all very friendly and professional. They gave generous welcome and parting gifts which was a nice touch.

Our room was a bit smaller than I was expecting and the breakfasts were limited (the continental free one) although they did offer cooked options if you paid.

This is a lovely, centrally located and traditionally appointed hotel in Oaxaca city. The staff was extremely friendly, with Luz and Evelyn distinguishing themselves by their helpfulness when my daughter fell ill. Located close to a number of excellent restaurants, as well as to the Zocalo and numerous points of interest. The continental breakfast that was included was very good, too. A five out of five star experience!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, with all the city’s amenities and sights right at our doorstep. The service was outstanding, with staff always willing and ready to help with any request, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Mexican omelette. We’ll definitely recommend staying here!

Hard to put into words how good the customer service was at NanaVida, from the gifts they give you at check in and departure, to the constant (helpful) doting and questioning over your needs, to the great turnover service. Everything was really really comforting. Breakfast was phenomenal and authentic. There’s a massage company that rents space in the hotel. Staff were helpful organizing trips and things to do in the city and surrounding area. Toiletries and AC were great and made the room comfortable for us Americans. Would recommend staying in this area as the better bars/restaurants are all nearby and it’s a tad quieter than the true center of downtown The only issue I can think of is the wifi in our room was not good at all, but with all the exploring Oaxaca has to offer it wasn’t a big deal. We will be back!

Beautiful room, staff were kind and friendly and were incredibly helpful! The room was well stocked and cleaned well every day. The little details of a candy bar and a present at the end was lovely. Only concern was slightly poor water pressure in the shower.

We had an amazing experience at NaNa Vida! The hosts took very good care of us and made our stay easy with the breakfast, help getting taxis and recommendations, and lots of generosity. The location was great - we could walk easily to the Zocalo, markets, and historic parts of town. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Oaxaca!

Our three-night stay at NaNa was wonderful from start to finish. We were initially concerned about having a ground floor room facing the courtyard, but it turned out to be surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Evelyn and her team were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and dedicated to making our stay comfortable. The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely grounds that are clearly cared for with great attention to detail. We truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality.

We loved the style of this hotel, it was like staying in an art gallery. The room was very comfortable (& quiet) and the staff were adorable. We really appreciated the little gift on check in and enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day serenaded by birdsong in the cosy internal courtyard.

Very well located with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfasts were freshly prepared. All the staff were very attentive, all the hours of the day. The beds were comfortable, showers are solar powered with a backdrop of chirping birds in the morning. Great value.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in NaNa Vida Boutique Hotel! We were within walking distance to excellent restaurants, Centro, and places to visit. The staff were exceptionally attentive to our needs/requests. Luz, Umberto and Christian were super helpful! The breakfast always good! Fresh, fruit, pan dulce, coffee, etc. We highly recommend this hotel, and plan to return in the future!

I've been to both this Nana Vida and the one in CDMX and the highlight of the hotel is the great and attentive staff. This one in particular is a really cool place with a nice internal terrace, and extremely well located. The room was spacious and very clean.

Really well located, well maintained, and very quiet. You get a complimentary breakfast with coffee, fruit, and juice. The rooms are decorated with local handicrafts. The hotel pays great attention to detail, and the staff truly makes you feel well taken care of.

I booked a deluxe double room because I was traveling with my parents and wanted enough space for all of us. However, when I arrived for check-in, I was told that I would be placed in a different room that was supposedly “exactly the same.” Unfortunately, it was noticeably smaller. I was then informed that I would only be moved to the actual room I originally booked on the last night of my four-night stay. Despite this, I was charged the deluxe double room rate for all four nights, even though I spent three of them in a standard double room. I found this very dishonest, as the rate should have reflected the type of room actually provided. The explanation given at check-in was related to their internal software, but it was never clearly explained that I would be staying in a standard room while paying for a deluxe one. This was very disappointing.

The ambience was very calm and beautiful. Definitely a gem! A very homely place with great service. Luz, Umberto and everyone at the hotel made our stay memorable and stress free. Bottled waters and sodas were always offered which is greatly appreciated!
