Cisza, spokój. Wszystko było super. To najlepszy nocleg jaki mieliśmy w Wietnamie. Nie jest w centrum, ale dla nas to był plus. Wypożyczyliśmy u gospodarzy rowery i dojazd do centrum zajmował nam kilkanaście minut. Bardzo polecam.

We could not fault this little gem. It was immaculately clean, situated in a quiet location but only a 5 minute bike ride to the town and the beach. Run by a beautiful family who couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony and huge bathroom! The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were only too happy to help with information, directions and bookings, while giving us space and courtesy. The pool was a great bonus too. We would highly recommend this place to both families, couples and sole travellers… ten out of ten!

It felt like being part of the family. We loved it. We got bikes for free and they helped us with everything we needed. It is not directly in the center but we liked it to be a little outside of the hustle. And to the center its easy walkable.

Highly recommended in a quiet part of town with many good restaurants nearby. Comfortable with great hosts and a nice pool, good breakfast and fantastic value.

Very Nice Hosts! Nice Breakfasts, you can take free motorcycles and they organised a fairly cheap taxi for us to the airport. Also the bathroom is huge, which i think was the best thing :) The pool is very nice and clean. I can only recommend this place :)

My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the most lovely experience. The family were so friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and we loved having pancakes and coffee by the pool every morning. We felt this was the perfect location as it’s about 20 minutes walking distance from the centre of the old town. Highly recommend anyone to stay here if visiting Hoi An.

We booked 2 twin rooms (we are 3 people, 1 married couple, 1 single) when we arrived we were told they only had one family room that cost the same as the price of the two singles. We arrived late so were forced to accept it despite the family room being advertised as cheaper when I made the original booking. The hosts then tried to get us to cancel our reservation through booking.com but this would have charged us twice as the booking was non refundable. Apart from this confusion at check in the rest of our stay was good

The old-style rarity design 🤩 reminded me of my grandmother's house—cozy and filled with care. It's a quiet place, close to the center, with kind and welcoming people. I’m very happy with my stay; it felt warm and heartwarming here.

Lovely staff, really flexible towards us. They allowed us early check-in, and they allowed us to use their kitchen which was much appreciated.

The location. We were slightly outside the main action of the town, but the biggest issue was the children's school across the road that blared out pop songs at 6am every day. It was impossible to sleep past 6am which was very annoying! Also the swimming pool was unavailable which was a pity because that was one of the main reasons we'd chosen the hotel.

Nice homestay with a friendly lady as hostess. Large rooms and common outdoor area. Good breakfast with some options to choose from + fresh fruits.

Bedsheets had stains and there was some mold in the bathroom. We thought that the bikes were free to use but then we were asked to “give something” at check-out. It’s no issue, we just didn’t know beforehand.

Owners were so kind and made a lovely breakfast. It is a short 20 minute walk to the old town but you pass so many shops and restaurants en route. Free bikes with an easy ride to the beach. Large clean rooms and a nice pool area to lounge.

The breakfast was delicious,, lovely pool was great for families in big rooms. I enjoyed bike riding to Hidden beach the best beach for swimming in Vietnam. Not crowded with good cafe food smoothies. Fantastic tailor could make up shorts well you sun bathed.

The family were very lovely and welcoming. They let is stay longer after che k out to swim in the pool, they offered to help us with any tours/transportation. It was nice to see how a local family interact and it wasn't imposing and didn't make us feel uncomfortable.

The staff weren't really available for any enquires between 10pm-8am and could be hard to find between 12 - 2 during the day as they would nap

All was great. We were a large family group and had 2 family rooms, 2 twins and 1 double. All the beds were huge, and comfortable. We were here 4 nights and were extremely comfortable. The family was wonderful, not a lot of English, but then we had very little Vietnamese, however, it all worked out. It is a bit out of town, but very peaceful and the swimming pool delightful. Breakfast was terrific,, just ordered for the first day and then we could alter if we wanted too. Great! Family ordered large taxis for us wherever we wanted to go, very cheap, and very much fun for all of us especially the kids. Would definitely stay here again, very relaxing at the end of our trip in Vietnam. Organised a transfer to Da Nang airport, which was terrific. Many thanks to you all, we have lots of great memories.

Nothing at all to dislike

We are travelling on a budget and this was hands down the best property we stayed at in our price category. The room was exactly as pictures, very clean, spacious and comfortable, very well equipped, AC worked perfectly. The room was cleaned daily and anything missing (water, toilet paper) was replenished. The pool was very refreshing with enough space to chill. There were six breakfast + 4 drink options, the breakfast was delicious and was always prepared with extra care - the vietnamese bun was hot, vegetables were added and a little bowl with salt and pepper was provided. Bicycles were available for free and laundry and scooter rental was reasonably priced. The location was amazing, it was a little oasis of peace and quiet but less than 10min bike ride to center. There was a supermarket around the corner and good restaurants within a 10min walk. The owners spoke very little English but with the help of Google translate they always did their very best to answer our questions and fulfill our requests - it was like staying at your grandparents :)

Pools was quiete clean and bigger then expected. Room and bathroom were specious and clean. Good air con. Good value for money.

-We texted a few days before that we are taking night bus and if we can check in earlier like 8 am. They texted back "no problem". But we we arrived lady said to come back at 1 pm. We asked if room is not ready or what, that we contacted few days ago about cheking in earlier. Was hard to communicate with her but overall she let us in. We ask if she want us to pay extra and she said " up to you" .That's was so aqward. We ofc decided to give some extra. - even if we put sign on doors " do not disturb " a lady did enter and did some housekeeping - there was no soap provided, so we bought one. While clening our room they thrown it away and did not replace with new one - breakfast very simple, we asked for hot coffee and we got ice one - even if all reviews say that bikes provided are free, the lady told us to pay 30 k if we want them

The staff friendly. Pool lovely refreshing. Room was big, clean,, we had a Small balcony but no chairs on it. Air con cold. Small bar fridge. About 1.8km from the old town. Could use bicycles which was great. Also organise motor bike rental at a great price. Washing on site also good but not the cheapest. Breakfast good 4 choices, had to choose 1. Place was clean.

On arrival in a taxi that cost 350K vnd from danang. We where greeted by staff saying no room. No offer of another place at first. Was in shock and upset. She said will get taxi to take to sisters place 1km away. They lied saying toilet broken we ended up in a place with no window, no pool no breakfast. Small room. No fridge.. They said room would be ready in the morning. They collected us after we reminded them at 8.30am. Room was not ready guests not checked out!! So toilet not broken! We couldn't check in till 12pm at the earliest. So we borrowed bicycles and ventured out for the day. The room was lovely, clean, large when we got in eventually. If they hadn't gave our room away 1st night id have given them 9 out of 10. But the in convenience and upset of having to move hotels was really disappointing. It was a long weekend so we couldnt even find a decent place last minute to move else where. So as long as they dont give your room up I'd definitely stay again. I even had confirmation few days before to confirm our artival time. Yet room had been given away!

Very helpful and sweet owner, they helped us with the booking of a sleeper bus and scooter rental. Doing laundry also at the villa. Breakfast was really good as well We had a really great time there, 5 Star recommendation

The accommodation is lovely. Rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast is good - tasty banana pancakes, or eggs in different forms. You can borrow bikes for free and the family, who owns the vila and takes care of you is also happy to arrange a scooter rental if you want. The vila is a bit out of the centre, so you will need either to rent a scooter or take Grab back home.

Our room was occupied by somebody else when we arrived, so we agreed to stay in a different room for one night, but then there was more confusion with the rooms so in the end we stayed in another different room for next couple days. The family was very kind and the mum of the owner made us a dinner to make up for that. I am sure we were just unlucky.

A perfect place not far from the ancient town and a 15 min cycling to the beach. The room was really big and comfortable. The banana pancakes on breakfast are amazing and the family is so sweet and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with the most amazing family running it. The outside area is like being in the South of France. Super pretty! The family were so helpful and lovely with us, we ended up staying 2 extra nights. A great location too, just a 10 min drive away from the Old Town

Lovely home stay within walking distance to old town, or a short bicycle ride (which were free) lovely kind family, breakfast was included. The king size bed was very comfortable, which was a bonus. Vietnam beds are rock solid. The pool was so nice and clean.

Wifi was a problem for us the first night but once we spoke to them about it, it was then working for us. Otherwise not much to fault.

Very nice family run holiday home. Location is very good in between an Old town and the beach which you can easy get to on the bicycle that is there ready for you. In the morning they serve nice breakfast and you feel like on the contryside it is nice and quite. There is shop right on the corner from the villa and very good noodle Phó restaurant if you need quick food or drink. Good value for money as well

The location is great. The property is beautiful, clean and mostly the hostess is extremely kind, helpful, a pleasure to be around her. One of the best places that I’ve seen. I strongly recommended.

There isn’t anything not to like about this property

The best thing about this hotel is the lovely family that own and run it! We stayed 4 nights and they were so friendly throughout our whole stay. The breakfast which is included is a great portion and very tasty. Our room was large and comfortable, and the pool was nice to have to chill and cool down! It was super handy to have the free bikes, as it is a little way out of town.

You can hear noise from outside early in then morning, but otherwise it was a perfect stay!

Family run Small Villa/Hotel. the couple are very friendly and they let us check in the room at 5:15AM for 300 000 (£10) as our nightbus us arrived early and we woke them both up very friendly and helpful. Pool & rooms are clean and it’s out the way of the busy roads and crowds. Free bikes to rent to cycle into the town 5/10 minute ride

Second time visiting the property. A place I will always remember. A home away from home. Near the walkable rice fields. 15min from the beach by bicycle. 10min from the old town. Great swimming pool. Very clean. Just outside of inner city hustle and bustle. Lovely family run business. Definitely will come back.

Everything about our stay was fantastic , from the first step into the property till the time we had to leave. The staff went out of there way to help us with day tours to transport and generally make us fell like family, the villa was clean comfortably and everything we needed to enjoy our stay, We highly recommend Gia Lam Villa Hoi An and can’t thank them enough for making our stay exceptional. Gia Lam Villa is a lovely place with really helpful staff and beautiful garden!

Couldn't sleep, woke up every hour in the night! Felt like something was watching me! Hotel feels haunted. Just my thoughts.

The stay at Jessica's Place was great. The room is big and clean, the location a bit outside which makes it quiet at night, the breakfast is Vietnamese Soup and (good!) coffee and fruits. Jessica helped us booking the bus to the next town, getting a Tour to My Son as well as translating on the phone in a minor emergency. She also offers laundry service. And the shower worked well. The garden seems very nice, sadly weatherconditions didn't give us the opportunity to test it out that much. I guess during dry season it's even better, since it's close to the beach and should be close enough with a bycicle!

Only two small recommendations: Since it should not only rain when we visit Hoi An, but should rain more often in general, a place to hang wet stuff (except the wooden cupboard) would be nice. And to me, the bathroom door wouldn't need to be a milky glasdoor. I know this is popular at the moment, but always weird to me - no matter in which combination I'm traveling.

Owners are delightful couple, making the stay here very comfortable. He readily booked a taxi for us whenever we hit the pubs in the evening. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful, akways providing info on food, massages, sight seeing and made bookings for the Bamboo Show FOC. Had an extra large attached bathroom, much bigger than my home bathroom.

No nightlife within walking distance

An amazing villa run by a very warm and friendly family. Set in a good location and great value for money. My third time here and I'll definitely be back!
