Location was good. Great not having to carry a key card!
The damp feeling of the bedding, pillows were really uncomfortable and very odd having a roll top bath in the middle of the room! Breakfast at the pub next door which is part of the group was dire. Looked lovely, tasted awful. Similarly the lunch and dinner too sadly.
Very good breakfast. Comfortable, clean room. Good location, close to restaurants and pubs in Edgbaston village and close to tram stop.
Good breakfast, spacious room
Breakfast area was noisy
Beautiful place. I highly recommend it!
L'emplacement
High quality place to stay just as expected as a return visitor. Beautiful rooms with high quality linens, towels, bathrooms. Easy check-in and check-out by door code. Off-street parking.
I would suggest that the bed mattresses are updated
Townhouse is tired, Wi-Fi didn’t work
Spacious, clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was truly exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay
Reception was not manned - but this os really not a big deal
Quiet
The pillows
For our family stay we had 3 rooms all of which were good. The small double was actually a decent size. Comfortable stay overall.
Some noise from other guests, not fault of the venue but there is no one on site to speak to about any issues if they arise.
Good room, I think I've stayed in most of them now and they're all good tbh, comfortable bed.
nothing really
A lovely town house, the room was clean, beds were comfortable and helpful staff when we had problems gaining access 👍 Good parking. Would stay again
Nothing
My room was beautiful, very clean and well presented. The checkin procedure was simple and effective. Staff - both in the pub at breakfast and cleaning staff were welcoming and pleasant. I didn’t have breakfast only coffee and a croissant, which was lovely. Car park system is excellent. Loved my stay and would recommend this hotel to any one visiting Birmingham.
There could be a full length mirror somewhere in the room.
The room was beautiful ; lovely high ceiling , comfortable bed, tasteful decor and furniture and I loved the hare theme . It had all the facilities needed . It was easy to access , spotlessly clean and quiet. The lounge with nespresso machine was a lovely addition too . The restaurant in the pub next door was superb and the breakfast was fabulous .
Nothing .
Lovely boutique hotel, with period features complemented by modern decor. Spacious bay-windowed bedroom, large comfy bed, modern bathroom. The keyless entry system worked well and all communication was excellent. Breakfast at the pub next door was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we needed a hotel in Birmingham.
Service in the restaurant was slightly slow on our first morning. But only a minor niggle.
Very friendly, accommodating staff. Very clean rooms.

Location, staff and cleanliness
The room was awful - sink in the room, window in poor condition, net curtain and view onto roof ducting and very scruff outside; this was a room with a view supposedly!
Location, parking, good room and en-suite
Being picky, bed side light too dim, impossible to read anything
We have been here several times in the last few years. The room is excellent & spacious & very clean.

I stayed in room 12 which was a lovely room. The room was well presented & had everything you could need. The shower was v good also. I had a lovely meal in the adjacent gastro pub. Staff warm & friendly.
Everything was perfect
Tasteful decor Quietness
2 years ago, I had room 5, which exceeded expectations and was stunning. I was surprised that room 9 was considerably smaller, still very nice so, but the comfy yellow armchair in the picture was replaced by a very uncomfortable little wooden chair. Not much options to sit comfortably in room 9 As the room was smallish I put the the suitcase on top of the wardrobe, when I found out, there hasn't been dusted for a while and spects of fluff came down, but otherwise the room was nicely clean, TV: poor reception
This was a lovely room and we loved our stay here. We felt it was really great value for money and we'd definitely stay again. Parking and checking in and out was really straightforward and easy and the bed was very comfortable.
Not a lot really.
Location great. Very comfortable accommodation
Air conditioning a bit difficult to work out
Air conditioned and quiet, comfortable room. Well equipped. Decent shower. Very nice breakfast although portions were very large. Good location in a nice part of town
Decor could do with a lick of paint and a shaving mirror would be nice.
Nice location and very quiet room.
I’m a bit tall and the shower was splashing water everywhere
We didn’t have breakfast
Exceptional breakfast
Everything good expect room window view was blocked and no view to street or backyard
Spacious, clean, excellent location, breakfast, air conditioning, comfortable bed, parking
Nothing
Clean large room tabs fly decorated
Nothing to dislike
Convenient, clean, comfortable all in great condition.
Everything was great
Great location just out the centre but with direct train. Stayed here before and return. Edgbaston is a great little hub of community. Went to the artisan market and the theatre. Breakfast was delicious and room airy.
A very slight musty/damp smell but put it down to an old building
Beautifully designed, comfortable room in a top location. Pub/restaurant next door is great
Lovely and clean. Air con on one of the hottest days of the year. Lovely decor. Tea and coffee available with extras in reception.
The TV only showed BBC 1 and 2 other channels were distrupted and WiFi was useless.
Excellent, well appointed room. Fabulous bed and sheets. Breakfast in the Pub is laudable for the choice and it being cooked to order, however was a little over cooked on this occasion. Very attentive staff providing excellent service.
Not much. If they could find a way to register the car for the car park rather than having to go back to it with a "note" would be a slight improvement. Shelf in the bathroom needs adjusting as it is sloping towards the sink so items slid off.
Beautiful rooms, well equipped and clean. Great location. The staff in the pub next door were so helpful, accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was as exceptional as described!
Nothing
As we have stayed here many times before we were delighted with the room - large, spotless with a lovely bathroom. The accommodation is situated in leafy Edgbaston and within easy walking distance of the city centre and Utilita Arena. Breakfast is amazing and is served at the pub next door.
On a personal note the bed was far too soft for me but I accept that that is very much a personal choice.
Homely feel
Location , free parking , very clean
Temperamental door lock
Boutique rooms in great location. Very clean
Nil
lovely room great breakfasts and restaurant menu and car parking. Easy access to centre on nearby metro tram and to local Sporting facilities.
Spacious room
All was good there was nothing we disliked
Very convenient for our purposes.
No interaction with any human being. Entirely impersonal and automated. Wireless didn’t seem to function but no-one to tell. No assured car parking though we did get a space. There’s a sense of diminishing responsibility about all of this. And it isn’t cheap.
I loved the elegance and decoration in this beautiful hotel . Parking was easy , staff in the pub friendly and attentive.
Nothing
Liked it alot, bit wierd having no staff to welcome you in etc but that's another box ticked off. Parking adequate, rooms big and welcoming, shower was excellent. Restaurant next door was good, great staff in there for evening meal and breakfast....recommend
I've no complaints
Easy to self check in. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable bed.
Location and style
A bit small and the TV signal was poor
Great location and nicely done
Nothing. If had to be picky the toilet was not cleaned so well on arrival. But only a minor thing.
We have stayed here before and hopefully come again
I think we were given a disabled room , but the couple we brought with us had a nice room.
Tutto in generale. Comoda per viaggi in auto e a mezz’ora a piedi dal centro. Difronte alla struttura cè un ottima pasticceria. La struttura ha anche un pub davvero bello. Mi è piaciuto anche il caffè a disposizione h24.
Ease of access. Decor. Quiet.
Everything was excellent and I have recommended to both friends and work. I was travelling early so breakfast was rushed due to the 7.30am opening of the restaurant.
Parking was fine for me but I can imagine if there were many guests it could prove difficult.
Always a good place to stay, clean and comfortable
Minor but TV was non-functional, no channels at all.
The pub next door (associated with the High Field Townhouse) had a good breakfast that was included in the room rate, the staff were very friendly and the place very nice.
no complaints.
Beautiful hotel, lovely decor and very comfortable bed and excellent facilities. Loved the bath in the room, and the finishing touches with lovely soaps and tea and coffee. The adjacent restaurant was brilliant, it was a great setting and excellent food. We had breakfast there as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This property was in an excellent location- I needed to visit the hospital nearby and this was such a comfortable and convenient stay. Coffee shop opposite and so much nearby - would highly recommend and stay again.
Maybe just that my parking ran out and I had to pay to extend it after checkout. Other than that, the property owners were prompt in replying to my query.
Very well appointed room with a large bed and plenty of space. Good quality furnishings and bathroom products. A comfy communal area with tea, coffee AND fresh milk. The pub/restaurant for dinner and breakfast was amazingly accommodating for our group. Breakfast was substantial, varied and very tasty. Dinner exceeded our expectations. We would stay again without hesitation. There was absolutely zero noise from the road. Buses and trams can be caught within 5 mins walk - the area is very quiet and safe. Parking was easy and plentiful.
The room was a really good size, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Access works smoothly.
Everything works fine but the shower in the bathroom is quite small.
The staff in the pub were friendly and the parking was easy.
Everything is contactless and very efficient, fab breakfast!
I tried to confirm several times that I was bringing pets but received no response
Room was very clean and spacious with nice standalone bathtub (Room #5). Breakfast menu is great with lots of options, including smoothies for takeaway. Nespresso machine in main lounge and room had it's own coffee and tea station with biscuits & glass bottled water. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was excellent with very solid water pressure. Beautiful property with lots of parking, location central to Edgbaston, Harborne & the University.
Pillows are lumpy and very, very soft. Room was very loud facing the street with single pane glass windows...hard to sleep with constant street noise throughout the night. I'd book a room facing the back of the hotel (courtyard). Also, outside, above Room #5, there is a blaring safety light for guests leaving/entering the property that shuts off late at night, and the curtains don't cover it. Didn't appreciate a brightly lit room until 11:00pm or so.

Good location to an event I was attemding
Struggled getting tv reception in room 12
Nice hotel room and cosy
Bathroom window was see through so not great for privacy
We loved the decor, comfortable bed, cleanliness of the room, hot shower and small touches like nespresso pods in the shared lounge, access to fresh milk. Parking was also easy and great location.
Really comfy beds and a cracking shower and the room is lovely
There is no staff so you don't really get a personal touch however the biggest gripe was an unidentified sound that didn't stop all night. It wasn't especially loud but one of those consistent things that drive mad.
It was beautifully decorated and designed. Our room had everything we needed for an overnight stay and it was really comfortable.
Elegantly decorated.
Nothing.
Lovely decor and there appeared to be a nice range of teas and coffees in the reception area although I never tried them myself. Clean and comfortable bed. Check in and self access easy
The bathroom floor was icy cold and there was a bit of paint peeling in the bathroom where the condensation obviously collects but I appreciate ventilation can be tricky with older buildings and original features.
It was excellently presented , warm, clean and comfortable.
Nothing
Perfect position. Close to quite a few places to eat and drink. A nice walk with the dog to Edgebaston reservoir
Very difficult to shower without soaking the floor as we had a disabled room.
It's super clean, they have a fridge in the lounge with fresh milk & coffee machine . Very quiet in the night .
The TV didn't work at all , & we couldn't see any electrical point to put it on. It was 10pm & the site doesn't have any one to ask . In the morning l asked the housekeeping lady & she didn't know how to do it either. We have stayed 2 times before in a cheaper room with no trouble.
I was in the small double but I didnt think it was that small and it had a quirky layout that I liked. Breakfast at the pub across the way was included and was excellent and way better than expected.
Coffee bags were not nice and tv didnt work very well due to poor signal.
Excellent clean, comfortable rooms and very welcoming for those travelling with dogs.
Decor , high ceilings , excellent shower very comfy bed
Paint peeling off wall in bathroom
Excellent accommodation great location
