The room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful.

We had a meal of fish and chips which was totally inedible! We raised our concerns with a member of staff who offered us a desert and and a drink. The member of staff was very helpful.

The staff were so nice and helpful. The mixed grill was very nice. The hole experience staying at a holiday Inn blew me away, I have stayed in some 5*plus hotels and this holiday inn was cleaner.

Some of the workers from a different country must have a permanent cold

Rooms were great ,really relaxed and had everything you could need, and the breakfast was excellent, great choice plenty to keep you going for the day, as well as being able to take some away great value 👍

Literally a small thing, was few stains in the room nothin major but this is only reason they didn't get the 10!! Other than that 1 little thing I highly recommend you can't ask for much more for what we payed 👍

When we check in coming back from Scotland. Room was not fully ready. I need to go back to the reception to complain that the sofa bed was not prepared yet.

Friendly staff, helpful, out of hours pizza very good - was sad I missed dinner, but I arrived too late. Good breakfast, plenty of options. Lovely and quiet overnight both inside and outside the hotel.

Comfortable big bed and good breakfast. WiFi and parking included, very professional and friendly staff especially Michael who booked us in and looked after us during our stay (it was my birthday). I'm sure we will visit again.

The hotel was tucked away on an Industrial estate, so not a good view. The disabled parking is poor as only about 4/5 places and the electric recharge points were nearer to the entrance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice dinner at the hotel that was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and dedicated to helping us enjoy our stay. Breakfast was also great quality and extra bonus of being included with the price. Parking was free and loads of spaces.

There were some signs of wear and tear like marks on the carpet but for the price and with the other positives, it didn’t bother me

hotel is on a commercial estate, very new, excellent facilitie,s , air conditioned rooms, great. fabulous large shower. evening meal was good, bed comfortable and breakfast was excellent, great for a long journey stopover not far from M6. ev chargers fast and slow readily available on site

Entrance , lobby , staff, room all great. Maria was wonderful and very helpful there was 2 other female members of staff i didn’t catch their names but were very welcoming and helpful too.

The fold down bed is bad. It is like a hill high in the middle low at the top and bottom was unable sleep at all and left with a sore back and side.

For a midweek stay, a good clean value for money hotel. Room was excellent as would be expected for a Holiday inn and more importantly air conditioned. Friendly staff. Evening meal quality was good as was Breakfast. Other options in the locality appear limited for Food....and the Hotel Bar is a bit pricey . Excellent EV charging facility, lots of chargers......charging can be within a hotel Package or Destination charger. Ideal for a Business stop over.....

Really clean, modern, good location, out of the way so wasn’t loud or near anywhere busy. Nice staff. The facilities they provided were good.

Everything was perfect! Every member of staff in every department was welcoming and keen to ensure that my stay was the very best that it could be. My room was huge, cleaned to the highest standard and with lovely, fresh bed linen and towels.

Easy to find, great location. Large room was excellent, free breakfast was excellent, having a manned 24 hour reception desk was great for late night check in.

Unfortunately there were some long hairs around the pillows and under the duvet.

It was light and airy with a modern feel. Staff were very friendly and the general feel was much more than it actually cost.

Shower tray Matt was dirty, seats in dinning room were badly worn in corners. Baked beans and fried eggs would have been nice for a breakfast option.

Room was spacious and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities, nice large bathroom both were spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent with a good variety of choices for cooked breakfast.

The hotel was great, very modern, the room we had was really good, the breakfast was good too (although no mushrooms, black pudding or fried eggs). The staff were friendly and polite.

We did have an issue with the TV remote control. The power button did not work but the rest of the buttons did. You could get the TV on by selecting a channel number, but when we tried to turn it off it would not, so at 11:30 PM I was fumbling around the back of the TV to remove the power cord as there were no buttons physically on the TV. We reported this the next day and they apologised. This did not detract from the fact that this is a great hotel.

Room was spotlessly clean, aircon was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good both in the evening and at breakfast with a good selection and some healthier options offered. We booked the ‘wheel deal’ which gave discounted food and drink as well as free car charging.

Hadn’t quite appreciated that the hotel is located in a business park / more industrial area, so without access to a car you are rather a captive audience. That said we had travelled to The Open golf at Birkdale so were quite happy to relax in the bar restaurant area after busy days out.

Semplice ma pulita con camere soddisfacenti e con tutti i servizi utili a disposizione. Ampio parcheggio, colazione inclusa, possibilità di ricaricare macchina elettrica, personale gentile.

Siamo andati in due per vedere l’Open di Golf a pochi km dalla struttura. Visto che c’erano molte persone per l’evento potevano essere un po’ più elastici per la cena con gli orari. Invece arrivati alle 21 e 35 ci hanno detto che la cucina era chiusa alle 21 e 30 come sempre mentre giustamente l’elasticità c’è stata lo scorso sabato nell’anticipare ben prima la colazione prevista da tabella alle 7 e 30. Però ripeto l’esperienza a parte questo particolare (ci siamo consolati con le patatine e bibite dal bar) è stata molto positiva.

Perfect location to watch The Open (golf). The price was very very good compared to hotels in and around Liverpool. So the short journey was well worth it. Decent bar and the room was more than enough.

The Holiday Inn Express at Wigan had the best air conditioning we have ever experienced at a hotel. Cold and powerful, it kept the room at a good temperature, even though it was exceptionally hot outside. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good, and overall we had a fantastic stay.
