the place is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the over-all ambiance environment is nice, definitely will go back
I love staying in your hotel the ambience is so relaxing and the staff is bery accomodating and kind. Surely come back. Thanks you.
We had a great stay at Forest Lodge. The staff is simply the best. The front desk staff are very professional and friendly from the moment you check in. The rooms are well kept. Overall a memorable experience.
nice room i always enjoy staying here when going to baguio these hotel is my favorite place to stay than any other hotel i stay in baguio
We recently booked two rooms at The Forest Lodge, and once again, it did not disappoint. This has officially become our preferred hotel every time we visit Baguio. What we loved: Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Booking multiple rooms was seamless, making it a perfect setup for a larger family group. Access to The Manor: One of the best perks is the proximity to The Manor. Our kids absolutely loved the evening activities in the garden area—it really adds a magical touch to the stay. Consistent Quality: There’s a reason we keep coming back; the cozy vibe and reliable service make us feel right at home. The Forest Lodge remains our top choice for a relaxing and fun-filled mountain getaway. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
This is my second time stay and surely will be the routine every baguio trip. Price for the quality. You will love the view, amenities, you’ll like the whole place in general. Staff is amazing too, specially our room attendant jomar
We came here hoping to escape the city noise and heat. At check-in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Christmas decorations were still up and genuinely pretty. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the stay. Within minutes of entering our room, we discovered the toilet didn’t work. When we turned on the kitchenette lights, we were greeted by 20–30 cockroaches. Baby roaches were actively trying to crawl into our open luggage, coming from under the worn, dilapidated carpet and the wooden cabinets. The furniture throughout the room was extremely outdated and in poor condition. We contacted the front desk and were moved to another room. This room had its own issues. The shower was so narrow it was difficult to even get inside, and it was visibly dirty with black mold in every crevice. The towels were old, stiff, and smelled unpleasant, and no washcloths were provided. The “pull-out sofa” isn’t really a sofa bed at all—it’s just a box that slides out from underneath. To top it off, the hotel blasted holiday music until around 10:00 PM, and the noise carried straight into the rooms, making it impossible to relax. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is not the place. I would not recommend staying here.
Well, still the best hotel in Baguio. The ambiance at this hotel is perfect. Service is top-notch! I want to commend Vanessa from the front office and (I forgot his name but I think his last name is Toribio). They really showed what is a customer service is. When you work in the same industry you know when the person is faking it or genuine in their sevice with these two (Vanessa and Mr. Toribio) I really felt the genuine service they provided to us during our stay. Kudos to your team and looking forward to return on this hotel.
We had the best experience staying in Dorst Lodge. Beds are comfortable, room was spotless. Staff are kind and we are allowed to check out late. We will definitely come back.
Our January Baguio annual trip is a family core memory for us. We love staying in the CJH area for relaxation and life reset 😍 Staying here is always a great experience for us. We love staying here for a more low-key and quiet time. To cap it off, we have easy access on their other hotel for a more boisterous environment, as we see fit 😉
Amenities were incomplete. I didn't have towels, sink was clogged and drains very slow. It took a while almost an hour for the front desk to check back with me and tell me that my room is ready, that is after I followed up. Check out was inconvenient as you have to go to front desk in person and wait for a about 10 minutes again for them to check the room and process your refund.
Had a great experience staying in the hotel for several times but on our last stay, we had an issue on our request for non-loft type room for kids’ safety ahead of time as confirmed from ms.pia but not intially given hence waited for more than 1 hour for the room. Received apology from ms. Chloe. Need to improve communication as i already informed that i had 2 different bookings on 2 consecutive nights for convenience but still called me several times and deactivated the key card after 1 night.
Superb stay and service, as always. A holiday isn’t complete without The John Hay Hotels staycation. ✨ Highly recommended for a luxurious holiday escape.
Great as always except for very rowdy occupants in the room next to ours until 1AM. We called Front Desk twice having come from Manila, we were tired and wanted to sleep. They had a balcony, we didn’t. So we can hear them right by our window. They never stopped even when called by Front Desk and so I felt like the policy could have been implemented with more efficiency. Other than that, this will always be a favorite destination for me and my family. We go twice a year, sometimes even three! :)
Always an enjoyable trip! Ideal for rest and relaxation and the staff are always helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended for family trips and important gatherings.
If you want a relaxing and hassle free vacay in the summer capital city of Ph, always choose Forest lodge Staffs are very nice, location wise and even the food are so good as well Worth the price
We had fun from the grand lobby design up to the sumptous food and clean and well maintained room. Our only issue was they were not able to accomodate our big group for dinner..their restaurant has limited space
Our stay was outstanding, from making reservations until check out including valet. The only concern is need to have enough water pressure in the shower area. That’s it. Will be coming back 2026 and for surely recommend this place to friends and relatives.
Attentive staff, decent lobby and room, food was ok, but they really need to double down on tending to details- toilet seat and sink faucet loose and wobbly- minor annoyances. Room door did not fully close, and you don't realize it- serious security issue. Ordered room service for dinner one night, salt provided in a small bowl, with chunks of some black contaminant. Gotta sign a receipt to borrow an umbrella- ridiculous. Checkout took over 10 minutes- inefficient; glad we left very early. Tried to charge us for minibar items we didn't consume- sloppy (or dishonest). Overall, mediocre at best. If we go to Baguio again we will try a different hotel.
Thank you for considering my booking that was booked on the wrong date. Hotel staff are very accommodating and very considerate on my request.
Nice and relaxing place inside Camp John Hay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great natural surroundings. Some facilities could use a bit of updating, but overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Had a wonderful stay at John Hay Hotels. Special thanks to Cath at the front desk for being so accommodating and helpful. Her professionalism and warm service made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
Best location for unwinding, away from the city’s noise. Perfect hotel for everyone. Rooms are clean and spacious. Service and amenities are superb.
Very accommodating. The staff from.thr lobby of John Hay hotels formerly forest wings.. Friendly and very approachable especially Sir MJ. And the staff serving our meal. JOB WELL DONE.
This place is wonderful! From the aesthetic designs to cozy rooms, and to the warm staffs, it was an amazing experience. The staffs are very accomodating and attentive to our needs. Everyone in our team enjoyed our stay here. Also, you will never miss the Christmas vibe in this place. We loved every details and touch of Christmas here. Definitely the best place to rest and connect with the people you're with!
Always consider the Forest Lodge as my place to stay when in Baguio. Good ambiance and excellent service. I will again consider booking with TFL in my next visit to Baguio with my family. Hope that there will be additional discounts for regular clients. Thanks
Very nice location good atmosphere Nice room Affordable rates Very clean room Manageable noise level Excellent service Excellent amenities
Had a great stay at The Forest Lodge! Cozy room, friendly staff, and perfect Baguio vibes. Highly recommended! Thank youu.
Great service from the whole Forest Wing Staff. Special thanks to Jelena for accommodating our requests and assisting us in every inquiries. Thank you to Dexter for driving us around.
Our family had a wonderful time. Stayed for four days and three nights in the Deluxe room at Forrest Lodge. The view from the balcony was amazing. The kids enjoyed the Christmas light show and movie night! The hotel staff were very accommodating. Special thanks to Twist’s staff who helped me with the surprise birthday cake for my daughters. Our stay could have been perfect but the room lacked a few items: no hair conditioner, no bath robes, complimentary items include only sachet of coffee and cream and mineral water, a free snack or welcome drinks could have been nice. Will still consider to come back though because of the location and view. Overall, it has been a memorable stay for our family.
I had an amazing stay! The Christmas vibes were perfect, and the staff was incredibly warm from the moment we arrived. But the highlight of my trip was the exceptional service when I had an allergy flare-up. When I requested medicine, they immediately sent a nurse to attend to me, and they kept checking in on me throughout the day. It’s rare to find a hotel that cares this much about their guests' health. The experience was awesome, and I cannot recommend this place enough!
No spoon and fork. And no aircon , but the weather is OK and nice.. And the staff are nice.. And the room are OK and are so clean also
Forest Wing John Hay Hotels (formerly Forest Lodge) is nestled within Camp John Hay, where the refreshing aroma of pine trees still lingers. The rooms are impressively spacious and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, the absence of air conditioning in all rooms is a notable drawback. Even during non-summer months, temperatures can become uncomfortably warm, and the provided electric fans struggle to alleviate the stifling heat. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel excels in hospitality. The staff are exceptionally courteous, well-trained, and eager to assist. A special commendation goes to Dominic Canajar of the front desk, whose thoughtful gesture made my 93-year-old mother’s birthday quite memorable. He surprised her with a room adorned with balloons and a celebratory cake, showcasing genuine care and attention to detail. Kudos to the management and staff. While the lack of cooling systems may deter some, the warm service and tranquil setting make Forest Wing a charming choice for those prioritizing hospitality over modern amenities.
Thank you Vanessa for assisting us on our accommodation, check out was smooth and Vanessa is just so helpful giving me tips on which best rooms to book for our next family visit more lovely surprises, The Forest Lodge Team kudos we pretty much enjoyed your stay, secufitu staff and waiters are all warm and friendly as well ❤️
We stayed here with family while visiting Baguio. The service and staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel was situated on a beautiful property. Excellent overall stay
Location was great Atmosphere was pretty great except but it is far from before it feels more like a hotel now rather than a home rooms is great value of stay 6/10 you should include a breakfast buffet cleanliness was 10/10 service was fast not so much of the amenities
Nice view. Nice location to run (runner here). Relaxing. Great place for families and couples celebrating special occasions.
Location is great surrounded by the pine trees, room was spacious, very friendly staff, value for money is quite reasonable. I admired the hotel’s exquisite Christmas ambience!
Overall good hotel. Good food. excellent service and great amenities. Location is really nice. Interiors are perfect for nice photos
The experience was good. Views are great from my window. The food was exceptional and was fairly priced for a high end place.
The staff was very accommodating. All queries and concerns were addressed promptly. Staff finds ways to make the guests’ experience pleasant.
Friendly staff, cozy hotel, and clean room. We also love all the Christmas decor here. My family and I always love going back to Forest Lodge!
Love the new management, a definitely better and elevated experience compared to before! Staff were so helpful especially Kenjie at the front desk who helped accommodate our requested catered to our travel needs. Excited to come back soon!
We stayed in their deluxe room with the forest view. Overall experience was so smooth and perfect. If you want to relax and have a stress-free stay, this is the place to be. Everyone will welcome you with warm smiles on their faces. We will definitely come back, and next time with our families.
Location is absolutely perfect — everything you need is close by, making our stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. The service was truly impressive; the staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, which added so much to the overall experience. I genuinely appreciated the warm hospitality and smooth check-in process. Because of the excellent service and the great location, I would definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay!
Room was clean and maintained, though there was noise (very manageable) coming from the water tank/heater). Also, having a double lock would make guests more secure.
We had a wonderful and memorable stay at The Forest Lodge! Special thanks to Ms. Jelena Orense for her exceptional service and for upgrading our room for free — such a thoughtful gesture. I brought my mother, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, to celebrate her 60th birthday. It was her wish to return to Baguio, and I’m so thankful we made it happen. It was also my siblings’ first time visiting Baguio from Davao Oriental, and they truly loved it. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so comfortable meaningful. Highly recommend!
The location was perfectly safe and I can recommend talaga The atmosphere pretty cool Rooms - malinis at komportable at Malaki ang room
Relaxing and wonderful stay at Forest Lodge. Very cozy ambiance, feels like Christmas everyday when you stay at Camp John Hay Hotels. Customer service is outstanding and very accommodating.
Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. I really liked the room because the bed was perfect, the view was amazing and the entire room was nicely decorated and clean.
Had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, and the amenities were great. overall a very good experience.
Such an amazing time with the family! We traveled with our young kids and they enjoyed the trip a lot. The room was clean, and spacious enough for our group. The hotel staff were all delightful, helpful and very pleasant. Plus the lobby was adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations! We will definitely stay here when we go back.
Rooms are spacious and clean. All staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating: The food at the restaurant needs improvement. It’s not bad but not great :-) We’ll definitely come back!
We stayed in a pet friendly room. We were 3 pax but we chose to get 2 rooms since we wanted privacy and both beds were just double size with no sofa bed. We had our own parking in front which was convenient. Generally we were happy with the space! Pets weren’t allowed in general areas but that was fine. The general areas (especially the shared garden with manor) was so nice with the Christmas event ongoing. Our only qualm was that we were called at 10pm because our dog was supposedly barking, waking us up from our sleep, even if they didn’t double check it was our room.
My family and I always go to Baguio. But this is the first time we stayed at The Forest Lodge. Price wise, I was able to book it directly on its website with a very good deal. We stayed in a one bedroom suite located at the fourth floor. The view is so relaxing. The room does not need airconditioning at night but it is still very cold. We love that it has a mini kitchen with microwave and sink. We were able to reheat our left overs. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The room is very spacious for a family of six. My husband and I had a few drinks at the lobby lounge (St. Patrick's). It was small but cozy. Ala carte breakfast is good, specially the spanish sardines. But as for the breakfast buffet, it was a little bit disappointing because the choices are few. And lastly, my kids love that the Forest Lodge is just beside The Manor. They were able to enjoy the Christmas Village at night. As for the location, Camp John Hay is the best location for us if we want to have a vacation in Baguio. CJH is quiet, has lots of pine trees, and has safe trails if you want to do some morning walks. Overall experience, staying at The Forest Lodge is one of the best vacations we ever had in Baguio.
the forrest lodge was great!! it was me and my family's first time. for the price, the staff was very accomodating! the ambiance was great and warm, the rooms were clean and proportionate, lastly the location is great! camp john hay by has the best environment. perfect for night drinks, morning walks, and daytime adventures. the forrest lodge's location has short walks near tsokolate de batirol, food places, and berry mamaa!! the forrest lodge is great for all ages, it's very clean, and it's always timely relevant. great for a short family get away.
Always the best place to stay whenever Im in Baguio❤️ accommodating and friendly staffs. Cozy and clean rooms. A great place to relax and enjoy Baguio.
June 24 night, we dropped our friends who are currently checked in. My spouse is planning to book the next day. So my spouse inquired for the rate, the frond desk told us it is 5300. She thought it is a good deal. She told the front desk that she will just wait for her husband (me) to arrive, just parking our car. Then when I arrived to pay for the reservation of the booking, the rate suddenly went up to 6k+ pesos. They end up giving us the rate at 5700+. We are very disappointed. We just got the booking to be with our friends.
Our favorite place to stay in Baguio. Always a pleasant experience here at The Forest Lodge. The staff, the food, and the overall experience is great!
Our room was very clean and well-maintained — the staff cleaned it daily even without us asking, and we always had fresh towels. The lobby smelled amazing, with a nice powdery scent. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our loft-type room was spacious, with a living area downstairs and two bathrooms, which was really convenient. The only downside is that it’s quite far from Session Road, so it’s better if you have a car. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay!
It was a great experience. Highly recommend the one bedroom suite. The ambiance is very relaxing and the weather is great. Additionally, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you The Forest Lodge! Til next time. ❤️
Excellent hospitality, everyone was helpful and polite. Room was cozy and well-maintained. Would definitely go back!
I had an amazing stay at Forest Lodge Hotel! The place is cozy, clean, and perfectly captures the charm of Baguio. The staff were warm and accommodating, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance, location, and service are all top-notch. I will definitely come back again—highly recommended! 💚
Good vibes, best place to relax.. food is good.. friendly staff… have free shuttle out side.. walking distance to cafe de batirol and starbucks.. near nike outlet and other food stations
Great place, the staff was so attentive, great location with a great verity of restaurants nearby that are can easily accommodate
Water was dirty at first. Ceiling fan was not working. Overall good experience. Food was nice. One of the best steaks i had. Staff also accommodating
Quiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Followed my special request to have 2 pillows per bed and to give us a room that is far from where the generator is located. This is our view from the 3rd floor.
We had a good stay here at forest lodge. Fancy place to stay given the price (value for money). Very relaxing and has good food choices in The Twist restaurant.
It was a great experience. Hotel was great. I know Baguio tends to be on the colder side but maybe Air Condition should be an option?
clean room NO air conditioning - the room temp was not comfortable bec of this. food from room service was not satisfying
As a frequent guest of The Forest Lodge, I’ve had the pleasure of attending several events here over the years, and it has consistently proven to be a perfect venue: combining comfort, elegance, and excellent service. The most recent event I attended was the URCC, held at the CAP venue since the usual 19th Tee was fully booked. Despite holding our event in a new territory, everything went smoothly, thanks to the assistance of Khim and Darryl of Conventions team, who were both very accommodating and proactive in endorsing us to the proper personnel for our group’s concerns. Special thanks also to Sir Philip and Sir Lucky for personally checking in on us and ensuring that our group was having a pleasant experience. Your thoughtfulness and professionalism truly stood out. I would also like to commend the Front Office Head & team for the professionalism shown when one of our members needed to reschedule their hotel booking. Although the original date could not be accommodated due to full occupancy, the request was handled efficiently and courteously, and the booking was successfully moved to another date. The level of hospitality and attention to detail at The Forest Lodge never fails to impress. Thank you for continuously maintaining such high standards of service. I’m already looking forward to our next visit and future events here.
To be assisted from booking to check-out with such an excellent level of service is truly superb! Who wouldn’t look forward to holding an event at The Forest Lodge, knowing that it is one of the best hotels in Baguio? I attended an event last September 18 as our cooperative celebrated its 6th anniversary. Khim consistently monitored us to ensure that all event requirements were met — from securing gate passes so we could transport our materials inside John Hay, to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Thanks also to Mr. Darryl and the rest of the Conventions Team for their attentive assistance in addressing our group’s needs. One concern, however, was with the food service by Le Chef. It seemed that the number of guests was not properly accounted for, as some of our members didn’t receive their glass of iced tea despite it being part of the F&B package. Additionally, coffee refills were declined even though we requested for an overflow, which we had also paid for. Nevertheless, my appreciation goes to all hotel staff 🙂 from the bellmen to the front office and housekeeping, who never fail to greet us with a cheerful “MABUHAY!” It truly uplifts the spirit to return the smile. The rooms are clean, cozy, and perfect for resting after a productive day. I’ll definitely be coming back and continue to recommend The Forest Lodge as one of the best venues in Baguio!
Rooms are big, neat and the price is reasonable. Bathrooms are clean and it has enough space to keep clothes and personal stuff right across the bath room. The mini bar is also well-stocked with the essentials.
I felt secure during my stay.
Hotel Service Staff are all warmth and accommodating. Amenities were clean and relaxing. Food are beautifully presented.
We had a wonderful stay. From checkin to checkout the staff (all of them) were very accomodating. The room was really comfortable.
Love how peaceful it felt like in the property felt like. Just need more deep cleaning. The shower heads were dirty, could use some bleach soaking.
It was wonderful and great staff
Very relaxing place. And the staff/employees are very accommodating. The experience was great and will certainly go back to The Forest Lodge Hotel together with my family. So that they will also know what I meant a relaxing place. And will absolutely love it.
This place could be better if all the rooms were renovated and it didn’t smell like a public bathroom
The Forest Lodge is our home away from home. We go up to Baguio as often as we can just to stay there. The rooms, the service, the food, the facilities and the grounds are excellent. I wouldn’t change anything about it and I hope it stays that way into the future. Truly value for money.
Forest Wing, formerly known as Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay, has always been our go-to hotel every time we visit Baguio—whether for leisure or business. The service has consistently been impeccable, and we are always welcomed with warm smiles from the staff.Special thanks to Sir Dominic from the front desk, who never fails to go the extra mile to ensure our stay is memorable and hassle-free. His professionalism and genuine care truly make a difference. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such high standards of hospitality. We look forward to staying with you again soon!
Wonderful stay - great service and very clean !!
Awesome!
Our team from the University of the Cordilleras Juris Doctor-3C, had the best experience conducting our year-end activity at Forest Lodge’s hotel suites and their exclusive helipad area. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The suite was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished, offering a cozy yet refined ambiance perfect for reflection and celebration. The cool Baguio breeze and scenic views completed the experience. The helipad was the highlight of our activity. It was a breathtaking open-air venue with panoramic views of Baguio’s pine-covered hills and cityscape. The scenery was perfect. "Ang mga clouds ay nakakabighani at nangu-ngusap sa view ng Helipad." Thank you, Forest Lodge, for being part of our JD-3C little victories and milestones. As we move forward with our dreams, we will always remember our hotel experience with you. We will surely be back. Salamat po sa napaka warm and kind na management and hospitality team
Facilities and staff
Amazing Stay with Friends! We were especially impressed with how tidy everything was! The overall vibe of the hotel was fun and relaxing, perfect for our group getaway. We enjoyed the amenities and found everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was lounging around or heading out to explore, the hotel made a great home base. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and welcoming place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!
The staff were really nice to us. This is one of the best after semester parties that we had as a class not only because of the friendship that we have but also because of the generosity of the hotel. This hotel really embodies the Baguio spirit. We were free to enjoy the amenities and never had any bad experience throughout our stay. I am aware of its popularity among my circle of friends but I have never imagined this kind of hospitality. The place has a strategic and magnificent view. I can still recognize the distinct scent of the trees carried by the breeze, reminiscent of when I was young living in the streets of Baguio and Benguet. Really, thank you for the experience.
Had an amazing time at the helipad, baby! Played some fun games with my grad school classmates, and the staff was just as enthusiastic. After we invited them, they joined in for 1 game, which really elevated the whole experience. The rooms were great as well. Soft bed and pillows, with a great view.
Huge room! My children enjoyed playing hide and seek. My youngest said, she wants also to celebrate her next birthday here. Hoping she will not change her mind though. Staffs are kind and polite. We enjoyed our food from the coffee shop. The lobby is wide and welcoming and the smell of lobby was like perfumey.
Staff: all polite and accommodating with our needs Room: floor was dusty, my son was crawler, he just needed to be clean before we leave and housekeeping was kind to tidy up the room. Bathroom: the tiles caulking was discolored, sink drained was yellow. We just have to scrubbed first before we use it, water was leaking on the floor at the water closet, just realized at the 3rd day. Beds were all clean and comfy to sleep Crib/cot: was provided, my little one slept good and no bed bugs Sofa: my son got bitten with bed bugs. On our 3rd night my little was having low grade fever from teething so we stayed at living room and slept on the big sofa. In the morning fever was got but he was all
STAFF: The staff led by Elsie and Mae are excellent house keepers. They let us check in early and answered to all our requests. They are easy to communicate with. Very nice people. The rooms are well presented and cleaned well by the staff. LOCATION: The location is good. Walking distance to the secret garden, JH museum where Gen John Hay lived. Very interesting. Amphitheatre and many cafes and restaurants around the area. Some you can walk and some just 5-10 min drive. ROOMS: I have read so many comments about this place written on a different site (not tripsdvisor). If I have been diligent enough to research first, I would have not booked this place. The rooms smell like SEWAGE. When I looked at the previous reviews since mid 2024, it was already an issue by guests. So this is not new to the owner but nothing been done. Also, the doors in our ensuite bathroom in our room is so hard to close and you have to bang it which annoyingly wake up the person sleeping like me who is a light sleeper!! One of the bathrooms the bidet is leaking so it created a bit of a paddle on the floor which made the bathroom looks dirty and yak! And the water pressure in the shower is too weak and the hot water not heating too hot to the right temperature. With the price we pay and all the issues we encountered, I will NOT recommend this place.
Staying with them is nice. Only the breakfast has limited selections and amenities are lacking. But the staff are very accomodating. The excellent service of staff truly made a great difference. Looking forward to come back here. It is great place to unwind.
Highly recommended! We would definitely go back. Room was huge and neat, my kids really enjoyed our time in the hotel. The customer service was absolutely the best! Everyone was courteous and attentive to the guests. Thank you for making our stay memorable!
I like the location. Needs upgrading the room.
My stay at The Forest Lodge in Baguio City was a refreshing blend of comfort, nature, and a touch of classic charm. Nestled within the Camp John Hay area, the location is serene, surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air — perfect for anyone wanting a peaceful break from city life. The lodge itself is spacious and inviting. Our room was clean and cozy, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offered a beautiful view of the forest. The beds were comfortable, and the interiors had a warm, cabin-like feel that made the stay even more relaxing. Basic amenities were provided, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable. One of the best parts of staying here is the accessibility. It’s just a short drive away from popular tourist spots and restaurants, yet it feels like you’re tucked away in your own little sanctuary. Plus, being inside Camp John Hay means there’s a lot to explore — from walking trails to quaint cafés and scenic picnic areas. The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. While there’s no in-house restaurant, the nearby dining options within the camp make up for it. Overall, The Forest Lodge is a great choice for travelers looking for a peaceful and nature-filled Baguio experience, whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family on vacation. 🩷
- Tahimik - Mababait ang mga staff - Maluwag ang room - Mabango ang rooms and the entire hotel - Masarap ang Foods Nila as long as you have budget :D - Malapit sa Batirol which is our favorite resto in Baguio city - Maluwag ang parking X Lumang LED TV ang gamit so don't expect na makaka watch ka ng netflix or other online platforms
Every time my family and I go up to Baguio we make it a point that we book at The Forest lodge Baguio because of many factors. The new rooms of the Forest lodge were overwhelming (cleaner than before). I would say from booking to arrival and to the front desk the employees of Forest lodge were exceptionally nice, courteous, helpful and very welcoming to our needs. We will definitely make the Forest Lodge our priority stay every time we come up to Baguio.
The staff in the restaurant, the front desk, reservation and housekeeping were courteous and helpful. The room, beds, sheets, pillows and towels were clean. The room is big and the balcony is nice for us to view the forest, the fog and the sunset. The beds are queen size. The room rate is just right. The foods in the restaurant were delicious and the prices and servings were reasonable. The service was efficient and commendable. We really had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Thank you very much to everybody who attended to us.
I had the most incredible weekend birthday celebration at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay, and it truly made my time in Baguio unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Gretel at the Front Office went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her helpfulness and courteous attitude stood out immediately, and she even surprised us with a beautiful cake setup in our room, adding a personal touch to the celebration that I will always cherish. Additionally, Sam at the bar was an absolute gem. He provided the best drink recommendations, ensuring our choices perfectly paired with the delicious food. His knowledge and expertise truly elevated the entire experience, making our evenings so much more special. The Forest Lodge itself is a serene and charming place, and every detail, from the warm hospitality to the stunning surroundings, made my birthday weekend one for the books. If you're looking for the best hotel in Baguio, The Forest Lodge is hands down the place to be. Highly recommended!
