The room and the bathroom were large and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was good

The staff were disappointing; they didn't speak a single word of English, not even the basics, and a hotel of that category and price should. At breakfast, the food was good but there wasn't a single Western dish.

Receptie, booking informatie niet bekend bij hun, moest in het Chinees proberen iets anders te regelen. Airco op kamer werkte niet.

Generally as expected of a chain hotel. Location is easy for main attractions- but a taxi is needed. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. There is no bar- but there is a pantry with some drinks, snacks and essentials- although limited stock. One or two staff speak English.

AC in room was just too hot (26/27)- struggled to cool down the room at any point. Rooms had residual smell of cigarette smoke. Breakfast- like most in China, had mainly noodles and eggs. Staff were limited, so tables were empty but not cleared of plates/bowls/rubbish.

The little window you open does not cool down the room. The ventilation in the room is very stuffy

The hotel has a good location, good distance from all the attractions, and public transport. Hotel staff very helpful.

The room gets very hot, even with air conditioning on lowest settings. However, staff were very quick to find a solution and provided air coolant.

Good location, good breakfast, comfy bed. Fate from the reception spoke realy good english and was excelent in communication and Service.

Room needs makeover soon for this price. Kind of dirty carpet, bathroom door broken, some Power outlets not working.

The service

The check-in was quick and efficient. The receptionist greeted us with a warm smile and provided a lot of helpful information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions.

Very nice hotel and good service.

The interior design of the hotel was very distinctive of the local tribal culture. Room was clean and the morning buffet breakfast was very sumptuous with the taste catered towards international travellers. The hotel was also near local eateries for travellers to explore local delicacies.

Clean, supervising staff were helpful, restaurant food good, nice decor.

There was loud construction from 7am til 7pm every day on one side and the hotel was across the street from a military base whose soldiers woke us up every morning with loud yelling and marching every 30 minutes starting at 6.30am. It would have been less noticeable if the rooms actually had air conditioning as advertised, but their air conditioning was portable and had to be requested. Since the a/c wasn’t that cold we left the windows open at night for cool air but then all the outside noise woke us up. The gym consisted of a walker and one dumbbell, and the restaurant didn’t open until 8pm, but we could talk our way in after 7pm. The beer was warm and the best they could do was offer it with a glass of ice. The fresh fruit was good and funny enough very cold so why not beer. There are no English speakers on staff so be sure to have a translator app. It is also difficult for staff to be flexible, in our case, we needed one room for one day and another for four days but we couldn’t decide who was in which room. Anyway, they were nice on the way out. There were ashtrays at the elevator on every floor and some people just carried lit cigarettes into the elevator.

Struttura piacevole e ben arredata. Purtroppo il personale non è in grado di mandare avanti in maniera appena accettabile l albergo. Nessuno parla inglese tranne una sola impiegata presente solo la mattina. Appena arrivati sotto una pioggia torrenziale il taxi non è potuto entrare davanti l albergo perché l area di transito era ostruita dalle auto dei clienti cinesi e non sono venuti ad aiutarci con i bagagli e ci siamo letteralmente bagnati. Il ristorante è molto scadente il personale non parla inglese. La struttura è invasa da esclusivamente da famiglie cinesi urlanti e il personale non fa nulla per far rispettare la quiete dei clienti. Room is hot and uncomfortable . Room temperature not adjustable , Central air condition blowing hot air of 38*C . We have to call the maintenance , the housekeeping to check and inspect . In the end they brought 2 portable air coolers , and the room is barely comfortable . Wifi is not secured and we have serious difficulty or unable to download videos . Bathroom and water basin water temperature very difficult to adjust . TV not friendly to international travellers as there are very limited foreign channels .

A bit run down

Friendly staff, welcoming you Large room, sofa as width as the window, desk, clean and much lights that makes the room cozy. Great bed and (rain) shower. Great breakfast with a western and Chinese food options Overall beautiful hotel decorated in the style of Shangri-La.

Friendly tip to dry your breakfast plates before serving. No napkins on buffet neither the tables during my stay.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The staff is exceptional! They went out of their way to speak English and assist me with at every turn

lack of western food

This is a type of hotel you should not anything special from. No in-room dining after 9pm. The breakfast selection was relatively poor, and it was very cold in the breakfast room (don't forget your coat!).

比我們晚入住的中國旅行團，吵鬧的不像話，反應服務中心多次，處理了將近二個小時，最後竟然是要安靜規矩的我們換房，而對吵鬧的中國人束手無策，非常令人生氣。

香格里拉市内にある外資系のホテル ホテルはロビーや内装がチベット風でとても素敵でした。 ただ ホテルをエキスペディアで予約する際に徳欽とホテル名の横にあり、徳欽にあるホテルと思って予約してしまい徳欽についてから実は香格里拉にあると分かりとても困りました。 徳欽の表記は、予約の際に混乱を招くので香格里拉にして欲しいです。

A new, clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and bathroom. The location is great with eateries, pharmacies, convenience stores a street away. Walking time to Old town is around 25 mins. The buffet dinner at the hotel is great. We paid RMB78 for a hot pot buffet dinner during our stay, excellent value!

Way too cold in the common areas, particularly the restaurant where all the staff and guests wear winter coats inside. Better written information on the restaurant etc would be appreciated by English speakers.
