Everything at the hotel was excellent.

I was NOT pleased with making my reservation with booking.com. I looked online on the Hampton Inn website and saw the rate of $250 for one night. So, having seen so many Trivago commercials, I clicked on that link which apparently went through booking.com. I was quoted a rate of $189 plus taxes, etc. I thought, oh great, good deal…I sure saved money. WRONG! I called the hotel later (which I should have done sooner) and was given a rate of $173 plus taxes for my stay on 9/10/26. At that point it was too late to cancel my booking through booking.com. So, in addition to having to pay $16 more (which is NOT a bid deal for me), I learned I would not get a credit for staying a night as Hilton Honors Member. I’m not happy with having gone through booking.com and will NOT book through any of its sites.

The entire facility was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff was attentive and friendly; especially Stacy at the Front Desk. She was the cherry on the top of our first time staying in Vermont. We will definitely return back and recommend it to our friends and family.

First rate experience from the time we walked in the door until checkout. Lovely room, great breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff.

We stayed at this property for 1 night while on a road trip through Vermont. It's in a convenient location in the downtown area, with walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Check in was easy and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard for Hampton. We enjoyed the stay and would return.

Manchester VT is a charming New England town with so much to offer. I highly recommend staying at The Hampton Inn which is centrally located, reasonably priced, has outstanding staff and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. I booked 10 rooms for guests for my son’s wedding in Manchester in Sept. 2024, and every guest enjoyed their stay. This year when another family wedding was being held in Manchester, I didn’t consider staying anywhere else. Exceptional staff help make the stay all the more wonderful.

The man who checked us in was excellent. The TV in our room stopped working and he was able to fix it while we ran out for supper.

Pool water was cold & bottom looked dirty.was not crazy about breakfast. Main entries need better quality taste.

The location was perfect, in downtown Manchester, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room was spacious, updated, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, functional and very well lit.

Based on recent travel experience, it seems all hotels are now using a mattress on a platform style bed (no box spring mattress). I find this style bed to be "hard" with no give. As a side sleeper, a hard bed means I wake up a lot because my arm falls asleep (but not me).

Cleanliness

Clerk would not accept my certified service dog as such, violating numerous ADA guidelines. She then publicly embarrassed me in front of other guests, stating that a Psychiatric service dog does not exist, when they actually do.

The breakfast should be extended to 10:30 am on weekends especially attending a wedding in Manchester. Also, check out should be 11:30 in lieu of 11:00. Thank you for considering. Family from NY.

Great check in experience. It wasn't specifically mentioned, but I'm certain we received an upgrade to our room. This is a very nice hotel, near the center of town. Clean, quiet, with a good breakfast. Next door to a decent brewery, so you can't really ask for more, lol.

Information daß das Zimmer nur jeden 2. Tag gereinigt wird wäre bereits zum check-in nützlich gewesen. Von den outlets in der Umgebung haben viele dauerhaft geschlossen - Opfer von Krise und online- Handel.

We have stayed at this property numerous times. It never disappoints. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is typical for a Hampton Inn. Stacy is an A+++ manager.

Furniture is dated but in good condition. Brown should never be a color used in a hotel 😝.

As far as the property overall it was good however; I think that the price was much too expensive especially for the time of year.

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Manchester and the surrounding area. My favorite part was the breakfast! Not only is the variety of options great, but the food is delicious! Many free breakfast options in hotels are sub-par, but this one is my favorite :)

My daughter and I had a wonderful two-night stay at this Hampton Inn while exploring Manchester and visiting Hildene. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. I requested a top-floor room at check-in, and the staff went out of their way to make it happen. After a bad experience with noise at a previous hotel, we were so relieved by how quiet and peaceful our room was - we both slept soundly! The hotel was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast provided a great start to our days. My daughter especially loved the pool and hot tub, visiting multiple times a day. The location is unbeatable for local sightseeing. We’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed there before and the staff was always courteous and the breakfast was always good.

I did not like that six charges came through my Chase account via email alerts that I had six debits on my account in 2 days of staying there that totaled $885.50. then when I checked out they gave me a receipt for $410.50 but on my bank transaction history it said it was an ATM withdrawal. This was a separate reservation for the first two nights I was there February 1st and February 2nd and also they would not give me an invoice for the booking.com reservation which I paid for ahead of time which was $1,045. They just told me that it was like a virtual reservation... Like it wasn't even there... And I thought I should have received a receipt for February 3rd through the 7th. I feel like maybe somebody committed fraud and use the money I paid booking.com to pay for their room. I sent an email to investigate to the email on the receipt but I have not heard back from them yet. My Hilton's member number is 802-362-4000 and the confirmation number for the first two nights February 1st and February 2nd with 828-42806. Also I arrived about 3:00 a.m. on February 2nd which was Monday morning and I still needed a room and I have gone to hotels before that gave me a discounted rate for arriving that early before checking in and she told me she would take $5 off and gave me the room for $150 for Sunday night and there was only 8 hours to go until 11:00 a.m. and then she charged me $155 for Tuesday night. And I didn't feel like that was a great deal but I just acknowledged. She also told me that $50 incidentals for the first two night and $100 for the next four nights would be credited back to my account but I only got emails that they were debited out I never got email alerts from my bank account that they were put back in.. wanting to know why I had so many charges hit my bank account and got so many emails for all these charges and then didn't get any emails saying that have been credited back to my account. I believe I paid $2,341 for six nights there.

I travel to Manchester once a year just to go to the hotel & shop. Its a nice break to early Spring.

I used to like it here, but honestly it’s been going downhill. Thin walls, random mechanical sounds all night, just not great sleep. There were also some weird smells around, including weed, and since the windows don’t open you can’t air anything out. We tried talking to the manager about a couple issues and didn’t really get much help. They were not interested althoug this was supposed to be a non smoking place. Even the breakfast isn’t what it used to be. Kind of disappointing overall.

We come here for an annual winter getaway and this hotel always delivers . The staff is their best asset. It’s always clean , quiet and accommodating. We cannot wait to come back again!

The front desk staff were great. Friendly, helpful and they really went the extra mile to help out an Appalachian Trail hiker who needed a break from the heat wave.

Excellent property and very nice rooms. Walking distance to downtown Manchester with several really good eating spots. Recommend rooms facing away from Main St and facing the back side of the hotel, as they are opening up a new brewpub across the front parking lot. Comfy bedding and quiet rooms. Elevators are in the middle of the hotel. Breakfast was good as expected but somewhat limited eating area (although they offer additional seating in a conference room down the hall).

Great property. Very clean, friendly staff and great location.

It's certainly walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. The breakfast is phenomenal. The only issue I had was that the people above me were extremely noisy and there was really nothing they could do about it until the 10:00 p.m. quiet hour. That meant I listened to crashing and banging and running for 3 hours. I think with that amount of noise there should be something that is said to the folks in that room. Nobody should have to listen to that for 3 hours. Other than that, my stay was excellent.
