Place was quite and near the coast
Fantastic view of the ocean. In house restaurant has some of the best pizza in all of Ireland
Cute bed and breakfast that we booked for the night before going to the Cliffs of Moher. It’s only a 30 minute drive to the cliffs and in a cute neighborhood. Would stay here again.
wonderful Irish hospitality along the rugged coast.
Near the beach with easy access. Cottage could use updating and good cleaning inside and outside. Plumping on kitchen sink leaked. Tolit is very loud and noisy when used. Kitchen stove has very rusted burners and the dryer does’t get warm enough to dry clothing. The person who checked us in could not help any the problems we were having and never followed up with any information. The staff in restaurant on September 18 was very helpful and kind. Parking on site was available.
A cute and welcoming place to stay when visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Excellent pizza.
A quirky seaside stay… it is definitely dated, but they have done their best to keep it clean. The older staff were engaged and accommodating, but the younger ladies at our check in were not.

Very friendly staff good breakfast
This was such a fun place to stay. Perfect location and good food at the restaurant!
It seemed expensive for the level of quality. It was the most expensive place we stayed in with the least expensive decor
Beautiful ocean views from our family room. We also ate pizza at the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
Charming property with excellent location overlooking the beach. Spacious room, lovely breakfast.
The staff members provided excellent services. I especially appreciate Rebecca and Charlotte for their kindness. The food and lodging were great. The view from the lodging was beautiful!
Y
This hotel is lovely and it’s right beside the beach. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was quiet, spacious and included a small kitchen, washer and dryer. The hot breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the beautiful sea views in the dining area. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be as close as possible to the beach.
Great stay, beautiful view.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The view was amazing and the pizza was some of the best we’ve had.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food here is delicous and amazing. Located dorectly opposite the beach a perfect spot for a getaway. The only negative was the water pressure in the shower which was only a very small thing for the service and area. Will definitely stay again.
Sheets appeared clean but had to brush hair off sheets. Toilet did not flush properly. Room in general felt grungy. Had to kill a bug in the window sill. Bathroom needs a serious updating. Bed was not comfortable and linens were worn. The pizza at restaurant downstairs was very very good. Saved the stay for sure. We stayed one night and I was not thrilled but it was the best we could do for last minute accommodations.
The suite was spacious and comfortable. We were able to park out front of our unit. The staff was lovely, Charlotte, the day manager was gracious and helpful with our room and breakfast. Coffee was good and they have gluten free options. Location is gorgeous, just across from ocean. Perfect location for visiting Cliffs of Moher and visiting anywhere in County Clare.
This was an amazing place to stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were very accommodating as we had to leave before breakfast and they made us a to go bag. We stayed in room 5 which had the most beautiful view of the water and the window opened so you could listen to the waves and sit on the couch and see the stunning view. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
This property deserves a 10 in our books. The views alone sold us. Our ocean view room was fantastic. The restaurant had great food and service. Our night was comfortable and breakfast was superb. We highly recommend this property by far the most view ocean view we have witnessed. Close to Cliffs of Moher as well.
Great location and view. The room was spacious. Staff was great and right next to rhw beach.
Charming welcome. Very chatty and friendly. Restaurant food was nice. Room had a great seaside view, but wasn’t entirely clean.
The ocean is right there. Staff was very nice. Room was large and nice with a picture window facing the ocean. Had a great meal at a near by pub.
Great stay, wonderful staff, beautiful views
Rundown property in need of remodeling. Lights not working above sink in bathroom. Bugs flying around and sewage smells. Mattress super old and uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping in a thrift store. Good things would be the beach view across the street and the breakfast service was great
Great Food, Beautiful Views
Fabulous location. Warm, cosy, very comfortable cottage. Lovely breakfast . Excellent service. Highly recommend.
Great value stay. Wonderful host. Very nice fish and chips for dinner. Recommend
This property was beautiful and the service was above and beyond. This was my favorite accommodation on our Ireland trip and I wish we could have stayed there longer.
Thank you for your hospitality
Hotel was very nice, room was large, breakfast delish.
Everything was clean, beds were nice and soft and the food was great. View of the water was a added bonus.
Very quaint and dated, but I didn't expect a 5 star hotel. it has charm and that was good enough for us.
Had a lovely stay in Suite No.1. Lots of room, with handy kitchen facilities. Comfy beds and all areas were lovely and clean. Breakfast was tasty and staff were attentive. Not much choice on the dinner menu for non-meat eaters which was a little disappointing but the veggie pizza was tasty enough.
Service was great and the rooms were clean and well stocked
We enjoyed our stay at the Coast Lodge. The town was amazing, people were friendly and a great view of the water!
Coast Lodge is a charming bed and breakfast located right across the street from a public beach where you can surf and swim, not to mention it's also a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher/Burren. Coast Lodge was our favorite place to stay during our trip to Ireland.
Fantastic location right on the beach with wonderful helpful and friendly staff and great sized rooms.
My family came in late and the staff here were so kind as to keep the kitchen open a bit later so we could grab dinner. We had come off of a long day of driving and it was so nice to sit down and have a nice meal. We informed them we'd be out early the next morning and that we'd miss the window for breakfast, to which they made us a batch of sandwiches for the road. Truly such a pleasant experience here and the rooms were spectacular. Highly recommend!
Lovely Staff, great breakfast, very clean bed and sheets Shower was in poor condition , grout very dirty
Very accommodating and beautiful location.
Location ,excellent food ,great staff .Rooms very unique
The staff was absolutely wonderful and the food tastey. However, the rooms are very outdated, oddly decorated and in need if repair on many items. That aside, the cleanliness level was quite acceptable.
We loved our stay and Charlotte was a delight. She was very friendly, helpful, welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. Would love to stay here again.
Perfect!
Loved the location directly across the street from a fantastic beach. Room was plenty big for our family of 4. Bathroom shower stall is tiny so prepare to bang your elbows. Toilet seat was broken and slid to side dramatically. I informed the staff and they were thankful for the information.
The room was so comfortable, and had a great ocean view. The hosts were so helpful and caring. Great location, close to Cliffs.
Great experience. Great food, service, property, and view.
The views and location. Cozy room and friendly and helpful staff. Hearty breakfast included.
This was our second visit at this hotel. We were a group of 4 in building #1. This unit is large, rooms were clean and smelled fresh, beds and pillows were comfy, bathroom was a good size and great water pressure. Rhe breakfast was delicious! Service is helpful and very friendly.
Excellent views from the room
Absolutely gorgeous views and beach
Quaint hotel with gorgeous view of the beach. Located across the street from Spanish Point. The family room we had was large and beautifully decorated. Rooms came with coffee and tea. We have a brilliant time.
We loved our stay at Cabin #1. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted with dishes, appliances, all that you would need. We could see the ocean from our window and were able to walk to the beach within minutes. The food offered was delicious, we were seated right by the window and ate our breakfast while enjoying the scenery
We stayed in the panoramic room with a stunning view of the beach. We really enjoyed it. It's close to the Cliffs of Moher and this means you can visit the Cliffs either late or early in the day. This is a big advantage of staying here. Also you can have a nice meal at their restaurant.
Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Great location opposite beach.
The room was spacious and had a wonderful view. My husband found the bed to be uncomfortable though. The breakfast was terrific, and close walk to the beach. Staff was friendly and attentive. Close to town, lots of activities to do.
Our stay at The Coast Lodge was one of our highlights of our first visit to Ireland. From check in, receiving a fresh hot pot of tea, to the very spacious and clean room, to the fresh variety at breakfast....all fantastic! Special recognition to Tara and Charlotte, for exceptional service, with a smile! We highly recommend a stay at this hidden Gem of a facility.
It's a great place if you're staying planning on staying at Spanish Point
Tired looking property room.
Quaint property operated by very personable and customer service focused staff and the principle co-operator. Couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. Enjoyed our dinner and breakfast - lots of options that were prepared and presented with care.
Great restaurant as part of lodge. Breakfasts were generous and tasty. Dinners were also very good and prices were what we have been seeing all over Ireland.
Great location, right at the beach. Checking was qiuck. Room was large and comfortable, but dated. Overall great place
I would stay here for the delicious breakfast alone! Service was also great.
Staff friendly. Breakfast ok. NOT a hotel much less 4 star. 2 star guest house. Describing C. L. as a four star hotel is ludicrous and unfair to proper 4 star hotels.
Hotel was not like description on website. Dated, drab and cold and strong smell of fish and chips even in bedroom. Dangerous step down into bathroom and steep stairs to bedroom. Very unsuitable for older people.Did not stay even though we had to forfeit one nights payment. Staff very understanding of our concerns. Should more accurately be described as fish and chip shop with rooms.
There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay Staff was amazing Food was great Our ocean view was most enjoyable
really enjoy the stay
Great location on the beach
Great location, great food and beautiful views!
This is an amazing family run property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an excellent stay. I highly recommend this gem. You will not be disappointed. The location on Spanish Point is spectacular as well. Gorgeous sunsets right outside the front door!
The beds were amazingly comfortable and the attached restaurant has great food and coffee options.
Best Irish breakfast, wonderful staff in restaurant. Clean room and beautiful view! Close to Cliffs of Moher too.
Beautiful coastal property. Dining available. Very. Friendly staff.
The Coast Lodge is located right across a medium travelled road from the beach. Check in was very easy. The restaurant was located just downstairs. The breakfast was made to order and hot. The rooms and lodge are a little dated but in good repair and clean. Due to the beach location, we wish we had more time to spend here.
Terrific location and room rate, wish we could have stayed longer.
This place and the people were outstanding. I wish we stayed here longer. Amazing location, great food, great sleep conditions.
This property is normally just a bit out of our price range, but WOW! We got a great deal and it was worth full price. Service was exemplary. View was absolutely amazing. We watched the tide go in and out from our room. The hotel is slightly dated, but the service far, far, far outweighed it. Treat yourself. This place is worth it :)
Being so close to the beach. Quietness of location.
It was fantastic. Food was Amazing. My room had everything and was also peaceful and quiet. All the staff were very helpful and kind. Will definitely return again in the future.
Excellent all around from staff to facilities. Breakfast was included and made to order.
This place was amazing!!! Young man working was so sweet, made my stay so great. Restaurant down stairs was the best, the jalapeño pizza was so good!!!
Property is old and has had some quirky conversions. Clean. People were nice and food was good at the attached restaurant. Location out on Spanish Point was not so convenient for sightseeing. Beautiful views. Depends on the purpose of the visit.
So, the washing machine is busted, flooded the kitchen floor, which shot the fuse and we were without internet or TV and couldn’t shower since there was no hot water. The property owner we found out gave us a refund of $20 !!. Very disappointed! That said, the staff who work there, Natasha especially was just amazing, she and her colleagues did everything in their power to help us. They are the nicest, helpful, amazing staff we have ever met. My low rating reflects the property not the staff.
Unique which means unbelievable views of the ocean and sunset right on the beach
Lovely well kept B&B with a great view of Spanish Point. Excellent location and close to Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch and surfing and the Burren. Great food and brilliant breakfast.
Great location.
We will be back definitely :)
What a great spot looking out over Spanish point beach. We were in room 5 looking straight out from the large comfortable sofa in the bedroom window. All the staff were really good. Cooked Breakfasts made to order and other meals just as good. The place is so chilled. Loved it.👍
The view from our room was magnificent. The breakfast staff and food was awesome. We had two fabulous days having happy hour on the patio, again are staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks again from the O’Keefe’s
Beautiful view. Great breakfast. But no hairdryer ☹️
This property is directly across from the beach, which is great.
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed being waking distance from the beach and spent time there on a warm day.
Clean and spacious room (suite 1), comfortable beds, great view, and delicious breakfast! The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable-- after all the car troubles we had. Just a quick walk to the beach and about a half hour drive to Hagshead to walk the Cliffs of Moher. We would stay here again!
Staff is not very friendly. Not good with recommendations or answering questions. Understanding everyone is short staffed, still kindness goes far. Worst was Kitchen staff did not wash hands after leaving the bathroom. Easy to walk right across to the beach . So location is the good thing about this place !
Stayed here for a night and ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. My wife and I both had the fish and chips for dinner and thought it was great. It was a large, thick, juicy piece of fish that had a great batter, and the chips were great too. Dessert was tasty as well. I had a full Irish breakfast in the morning and it was great too. We stayed in room 5, and it was very large and spacious and had power outlets in good locations. There was a couch in the room to lounge on and watch TV. The window has a view of the ocean. Large bathroom. Check-in and check out were both very quick and easy. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Great visit. We wished we had stayed there longer!
