Das Frühstück ist unterirdisch nur Fabrikfood in Plastik verpackt, nicht mal eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine oder so, nur Pulverkaffee, extrem ringhörig man konnte jedes Husten der Nachbarn hören.

Gut gelegen: Von der 15 Gehminuten entfernten Bahnstation East Croydon ist man sehr schnell in der Innenstadt.

Das Aparthotel hat mindestens vier komplett unterschiedliche Gebäude. Die schönen, neuen Fotos sind von einem kleinen Bungalow im Hinterhof. Die anderen Gebäude sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Daher kommt auch die Aussage „Fake-Fotos“ aus einer anderen Rezension. Wir haben uns von den Fotos blenden lassen. Die Wohnung, die wir gebucht hatten, war in einem älteren Haus im Souterrain, was wir natürlich nicht wussten. Es roch streng und war dunkel. Meine Frau weigerte sich, hier zu übernachten, und eine andere Wohnung in dieser Kategorie gab es nicht mehr. Gegen Aufpreis haben wir dann eine Unterkunft in einem anderen Haus genommen. Diese war soweit in Ordnung. Das Frühstück gab es bei uns erst ab 9:00 Uhr, da in England Ferienzeit war – zu spät, wenn man viel von London sehen will. Die Qualität (Selfservice mit abgepackten Lebensmitteln) kann den anderen Bewertungen entnommen werden. Dass man nach dem Frühstück selbst abspülen muss, wollte ich noch ergänzen. Anbei noch die Fotos von einem der Parkplätze (First come, first served), dem Fitnessstudio und dem Haus von vorne.

Outside area of my room was dirty requested another room but none was available with a double bed. Staff member advised to put a report on booking.com. breakfast was cheap and awful had a gone off banana that was black inside and made me feel sick took a while to find property

There was a horrible stench in the bathroom. No daily house keeping. The kitchen was a mess left behind by other guests, given the expectation that everyone cleans up after themselves.

Leider war nur ein französisches Doppelbett mit nur einer Decke vorhanden. Für zwei Erwachsene etwas schwierig.

En arrivant le studio n'était pas très propre.. poussière, cheveux ou poils dans les joints de la salle de bain, micro ondes sale etc. Le parking n'avait que 3 places.. nous avons du chercher sur le 2ème parkings de l'hôtel (3 places également) pour se garer. Donc si parking plein, nous aurions du payer le stationnement.

Guests smoking Weed wafting into our bedroom was horrendous. Breakfast was a rabble in a small kitchen area everyone trying to get to fridge, kettle etc. Dried pastry and cheese slices summed up the so called “continental” breakfast. No ham or anything g else 🙁

Breakfast was simply cheese slices and dried pastries 🙁two choices boxes cereal; Cornflakes or Nutty Cornflakes. There was fruit thankfully but that was it. Stench of Weed coming into our room was awful: should be banned. No staff about. Only one man popped up in office rarely and a Cleaner floating around but didn’t tend our room: emptied bin ourselves but struggled to find bin bags.

Ideal location for what we needed

Could have been cleaner.shower head was broken. Floor was dirty our socks where black. Fat from cooking by previous guest was over the counter and down the fridge and floor. Had to clean it up myself. Mattress’s need replacing because you could feel all the springs through it, terrible nights Salerno and to top it off got Woken up early at 8:30 by the cleaners laughing and playing music outside our bedroom.

There is far too much noise transference between rooms, meaning noise disturbance all the time & all through the night Room lacked ventilation, even with fan, far too hot when outside was only 18°

The location is quiet, it was an easy walk to the next train station, passing several small convenience stores - very handy to buy provisions for dinner. It was possible to keep the flat reasonably cool during the hot spell, with proper dark blinds and windows that could be left open overnight (glad to be on 2nd floor) and enabled air flow across the rooms. We were lucky to catch the last parking spot in front of the entrance, otherwise it would have been expensive to park on the road.

It would have been good to know upfront that there are several narrow flights of stairs up to the flat, somewhat hard to navigate with a heavy suitcase, but good for fitness :-) Breakfast was basic British, but you could always top it up independently, so no issue. i.e. just minor niggles.

Stayed here for a few days when visiting London for business and a concert - the location is okay, being a 10 minute walk to get to the East Croydon train station. The price, for a London stay is the main selling point.

The breakfast is very limited and the gym is one of the poorest equiped I have ever seen, the room didn't provide any air conditioning during the heatwave (fortunately, we brought our own fan), and the parking was also awkward.

An aparthotel in Croydon, most of the guests were Black British. We had a spacious, well equipped and new suite. Very good connection to central London by frequent trains. Fast internet. A couple of free parking spaces.

Noisy at night, especially during the weekend, with loud music, banging doors and smell of cannabis. Poor breakfast consisting only of packed products, no ham or vegetables. The floor was not clean. Not everyone will feel well in this place.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel. We hadden een 2 persoons studio geboekt, waar geen airco in zat, dus konden we bij de receptie om een upgrade vragen, deze was 25 pond per dag. (Is wat aan de prijzige kant voor wat je er extra voor terug krijgt. Een airco + een grotere badkamer en een iets grotere kamer.) Je hebt als je optijd bent, gratis parkeervakken en station East Croydon ligt op 5 minuten fietsen, waarna je met de trein in ongeveer 30 minuten in Londen bent

Ik vond de prijs kwaliteitsverhouding echt een groot minpunt. Het ontbijt was geen ontbijt zoals je deze van een hotel verwacht, het was eerder een B&B ontbijt, waar je na afloop ook nog eens ZELF moest afwassen. Dit alles voor rond de 900 euro voor 1 week

Doors being slammed early in morning and late at night what looks like its used as tempory accomodation and very little sign of people using it as a holiday accomodation. very narrow between buildings to drive down and the most pathetic speed bumbs half way down

Spacious. Clean. Airy. Loved the peaceful ambiance. They gave us free teas, biscuits and water on arrival. Loved the fact that they had a mini store in the hotel where you purchase things.

Some staff were excellent and really welcoming (first night). Others were less helpful and not as welcoming. Think it should be also specified that parking is on a first come first serve nature.

Only criticism of the hotel was very small driveway for cars to get to parking spaces and doors slamming early morning with people leaving hotel (maybe could do.with soft closing mechanisms) but overall hotel was very good indeed.

Space was clean, affordable and a short walk from Croydon East station. Bed was comfortable and pillows nice and firm. Wi-fi didn't work for checkin, but thankfully somebody was there to help us out. Breakfast was a self-serve kitchen area where everyone helped themselves from the fridge. Everyone cleaned up after themselves which was great

It's worth paying extra to have a room in the Garden Suites. I didn't realise this was a separate option, so we ended up in one of the loft rooms in front building which was much smaller and didn't have air conditioning. It was fully booked so we were unable to switch rooms. It was 28 degrees so we were very hot! A fan was provided which helped a lot but we had to have it blasting all night. Garden Suites are much larger, have air con, balcony space and a nicer kitchen area.

Het hotel zit op loopafstand van het station, en in 20 minuten ben je in London centrum.

Wij hadden een appartement, maar wat betreft schoonmaak viel het best tegen. Veel zwarte haren en ook nagels van vorige gasten op de grond, vlekken op de bank, en in de wc was het niet goed schoon. Er was ontbijt, maar voor een 4 sterren hotel wel heel basic (brood om toast te maken met kaas en jam en voorverpakte croissant of chocolade broodje (die je in supermarkt verpakt kan halen). Iets van versgebakken broodjes of een ei of vleeswaren zou een toevoeging zijn. De locatie maakte het weer goed, en we waren verder hele dag op pad, dus alleen voor paar overnachtingen was het te overzien.

Die Parksituation ist nicht sehr gut, breitere Autos können nicht die Parkplätze im Innenhof benutzen. Die Einfahrt ist mit "Hüpfer" ausgestattet, dass man auch immer schauen muss dass man sehr viel Gas gibt um drüber zu kommen. Ich die "permanenten Bewohner" des Hotels, waren der Hauptfaktor wieso die Bewertung schlechter ausgefallen ist. Neben dem häufigen Grasgeruch, wurde auch häufig laut geschriehen und die Türen zu geworfen. Oftmals mitten in der Nacht.

The place was modern, clean, with a small kitchen and basic utensils. The TV was not in the right place to view comfortably from the bed. The ensuite & shower was small however functional. It was good value for money if the room and temperature was bearable, as the outside was far cooler than the inside.

Unfortunately the room was incredibly HOT, (we stayed in no 10) with no air conditioning, even with the floor fan that we found in the room (now we know why), as it just circulated hot air, & despite the small window being open it was unbearable as we got very little sleep. As we checked in late and was only staying for x1 night we thought we could manage. We were wrong! The bed was not the comfiest & overall we had a bad night's sleep! Breakfast was basic, and self service, with a fridge that had, sliced white bread, cheese slices, yogurts, milk, jam & butter inside. There was cereals, juices and a selection of croissants, brioche & pain au chocolate to chose from as well as Tea making facilities, a selection of alternatives Teas otter than PG would also have been nice. Parking is extremely tight & you have to go through a narrow entrance between the houses, as it was full we had to park outside where there are restrictions, as it was Sat evening into Sunday we were OK.

The receptionist staff was very helpful.

This property is great, have stayed here a bunch of times, location is great and had really great experiences until my last 3 visits which have been very disappointing. I started to become a loyal customer here and feel as if the service has gone completely down from when I first started going here.

I don’t usually do bad reviews but I have had 3 not great experiences. This is such a shame as it generally was my favourite spot to go. So my last 3 visits have not been the best. I’ll start with my recent visit as this visit was disappointing at the very least. We checked into an unclean room; dirt in the shower and sink, towels over the hanger cabinet, previous occupants bin left by the kitchen area, bottles on the balcony, the tray they left in the room was an absolute mess with crushed biscuits and weirdly the bed was made? Which we assumed the sheets were not changed to fresh sheets as it wasn’t made how it usually is and given the state of the room it was quite obvious. When I spoke to the manager I was sad that he didn’t show any remorse to the situation and asked me “what do you want us to do about it?” “Do you want it cleaned?” Well of course but it would’ve been nice to have an apology which is surprising because the staff are usually really nice and on top of their game but this was horrible for me as it’s beyond unhygienic to give someone a room that has not been cleaned. My previous two experiences I was put in two different rooms. The first experience was that the room gave a whole different feel, wasn’t as comfortable as the last stay with the TV being on a swivel bracket but didn’t turn enough so we can see the TV properly which was annoying (it was a crazy thing to complain about as it wasn’t too bad but this kicked off the bad experiences from there). Second room was based on the top floor and upon first glance one of the numbers was missing from the door and the key hole was broken off. Didn’t matter as the door was left open anyway. When I went into the room, it was an absolute sauna in there and looked as if no one has slept in or dusted that room all year. The fan had soo much dust on it that we had to do our own cleaning to make sure we weren’t covered in it and the bed was the worst!

Séjour de 5 jours que j'ai trouvé un peu long du fait de la chaleur et des bruits venant des chambres voisines (Télévision volume à fond). La chaleur est insupportable la nuit et le ventilateur fourni fait beaucoup de bruit. Il faut donc choisir entre subir la chaleur et subir le ventilateur. Distributeur de gel douche défectueux signalé dès le premier jour mais rien n'a été fait.

It was clean and modern and spacious.

I paid extra for a garden view but it was just full of weeds. On a couple of days (out of five) there was funny smell in the bathroom like a damp smell from the shower drain, I think. One night, it was particularly noisy from adjacent rooms with a familly with kids screaming and shouting until about 1:30am. I only had breakfast one morning, as I felt that the selection of food on offer was pretty basic and not that appealing.

2 single beds were put together to make a double, there weren’t bolted together so they moved a lot during the night with my partner, worse nights sleep ever! Strange stains on ceiling

The room was tired and worn out. The fridge was very noisy. The shower was old and worn out. Nothing looked like the pictures.

There really isn't a lot to like about this place.

Firstly on arrival the parking was a complete shambles, the car park is situated at the rear of the property and the width of the entrance is really really tight even for the smallest of cars. Added to this whoever thought necessary to add speed bumps needs their head looked. I was also extremely surprised to learn that the deposit of £200 for possible damage wasn't just a holding deposit but that they actually take the full amount from your bank account and then only return it after 3 to 5 days after departure obviously money making scheme to earn interest off peoples money. Still waiting for it to be returned... On to the actual apartment nos 6 on the first floor of the building to the left of reception. On opening the door the place was stiffingly warm so much so that they had left every single window open. The shower was filthy with dampness on the walls , the toilet etc hadn't been cleaned or the shower tray was also dirty. There was so much damage throughout to the wall , all doors , worktops and the bathroom tiles were damaged and broken, The two fans that they had supplied for the bedrooms were absolutely disgusting and I honestly think they had never been cleaned of dust, they were vile. None of the pots had been washed, the cutlery also hadn't been dried before being put back in the drawer and the microwave had no rotary plate, we also had no kettle, and although the table had been set for 4 there were only 3 chairs....the pull down blinds, I'm guessing these were meant to be black out blinds and everyone of them were soiled and god only knows what the stains were , there were actually mucus and flem on them and god knows what else

We were told it would be no problem to book in early at midday initially- but on the day we were told we had to pay £10 per additional hour Also we would of liked them to help call us a taxi, they did not offer to call one, or give us a local taxi number small rooms - no window in bathroom so very hot

Bed was very uncomfortable, window shutter handles broken on both, toilet had awful smell, fan was awful was very noisy and outdated. Breakfast was passable not much to choice from

Great location, room was a nice size and came with everything that was needed, staff were able to fix any problems that arose.

The whole vibe, lovely communal areas, lovely staff, rooms are tastefully done with good quality fixtures and fittings. Bed was nice, good pillows, nice shower and fab to have a fridge! Supported by friendly staff weeks before arrival with answers to all of my many questions. On arrival the people we spoke with were all really really lovely and welcoming. We did not use the facilities such as breakfast or the little shop but they looked to be fab! Very nice! It was lovely to be supported with early check in even though we did not expect it! Silly but I loved the little key lockers to check out!

1 thing and by no means a complaint as it can't be helped or fixed... but I was terrified getting my car down the narrow driveway to the car park!

I booked a two‑bedroom apartment and arranged an early check‑in, which was confirmed. On arrival, I was directed to a three‑bedroom apartment, which was not what I booked.The apartment was in very poor condition. It had a strong smell of smoke, the building’s front door did not lock, and it stayed open throughout the evening, which made us feel unsafe. The walls, doors and general interior were dirty, and the bathroom toilet‑roll holder had been ripped off the wall. We also couldn’t open the windows because people were smoking cannabis outside, making the environment completely unsuitable—especially as I was travelling with my 10‑year‑old daughter. Overall, the property was not clean, not secure, and not as described. We felt uncomfortable during the stay and left earlier than planned due to the conditions.

Sehr hellhörig, Zimmer extrem warm unabhängig vom Wetter. Badezimmer war dauerhaft über 30°C, keine Regulierung möglich. Keine Klimanlage im Zimmer, nur Ventilatoren.

Accommodation was clean and tidy

Parking was not good and to get to the back was really tight. Also the room was soo hot, the window would open properly and the fan didn't help much.

Manager his a terrible person. First far too expensive second he charge £10 pounds for check in a room wish was ready to go. Total 166 pounds for a £50 room breakfast is the worse I ever seeing in my life. Terrible.

Location of the property is great

1) Weekend breakfast from 9am is poor - 7am minimum should be the standard. 2) The lack of Air conditioning is a real issue during the summer, making is very uncomfortable to sleep. A fan is provided but it isn’t the best. 3) The blinds on the window were broken.

We were going to a concert in Crystal Palace Park so booked here due to the proximity to the park. It was an excellent choice. The apartment had one bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. Due to the extreme heat the apartment was very hot. We asked for a fan and this was immediately provided. The breakfast times were longer than expected with a wide variety of foods provided on a self-serve basis. The food was plentiful and included sachets of porridge, bread for toasting, several cereals, cheeses, yogurts, butters, jams, pastries, cold juices, hot drinks etc. I was pleasantly surprised with not just the variety on offer but the quantity and quality too. The booking and checking in process was seamless. Finally the two staff members we dealt with were a credit to the company. The were very friendly and professional. During the checking in process we were immediately given a bottle of cold water each due to the very hot temperature which was a really nice touch. If you are looking for somewhere comfortable to stay at a very reasonable price including a good breakfast then look no further.

The hotel/apartment was very clean, lovely tea/coffee and biscuits provided and the staff were friendly. Check in and out were seamless and they accommodated a slightly earlier check in as well.

Room was extremely hot, unbearably so. We understand that the weather in the UK at this moment in time is hotter than usual, however the room itself was boiling hot to the point we felt sick and dizzy. We were provided with a fan, which just blew hot air around the room. The corridors and other parts of the hotel seemed a lot colder In comparison. A staff member did come into the room and assist by opening the window further and rolled up the blind, however sleeping with a very large noisy fan on with the blinds open was not really helpful. Unfortunately neither of us got very much sleep and left before breakfast just to get out of the heat as it was much cooler in the sun outside!! A staff member advised that their lodges are air conditioned, I would potentially invest in air conditioning in the other rooms as well in this case!!
