Forest House Hotel

Great friendly owners, comfortable beds and clean and easy parking.

Nothing, was great!

Staff were very nice

TV wasn't smart and small so couldn't use streaming sites. Lamps and bedside tables would have been a nice addition

really friendly helpful staff

It was easy to get to

Bathroom basin tap didn't work properly. Doesnt turn off properly in room 11. Very noisy from street traffic. Sound insulation is poor. Ceiling fan did not work. Additional fan in the room is falling off from its base stand. Bathroom basin has brown stains on it.

The hotel is really accessible, has a bus stop right in front alongside hotels and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy.

I booked this property after turning up to the property, the originall booked. I wish I had found this property last year. When I booked to go to the Bon Jovi concert. This hotel was very amazing. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The beds were so comfy, and so were the pillows. We wish we had them ourselves.

There's nothing I found.I didn't like about this hotel

Brilliantly clean and very comfortable beds. Wd ended up staying here because our flight was cancelled. It was an expensive taxi ride from Heathrow but this was mitigated by the fact that this hotel was so reasonable.

Very easy to get to and a short drive to Tottenham Stadium. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely friendly.

Lovely place, with awesome staff 🙂

Great location for Wembley stadium

The parking is tight

Staff were excellent

Nothing

It was welcoming

Their is no ac in the rooms just a small fan

Excellent customer service. The rooms were practical, functional and clean. Good location to town and facilities: cafes, supermarkets and busy town.

The rooms were practical over comfort and luxury. Great for a short stay.

Friendly staff. Large clean room. Relatively quiet given the location on a busy street.

It would have been nice to have a lamp next to the bed instead of having to have the bright overhead light on while reading in bed.

Such a lovely place, very easy to find and kept nice and tidy. The staff we’re so friendly, and the café around the corner was incredible too- Thank you!

Fabulous place slept so well and great staff

Nothing

The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was very clean, and the bed was sooo comfy! The shower had great pressure and the price was more than okay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Room, beds and bathroom were clean, although fridge was not.

The room was extremely hot. We were in the middle of the heat wave, but it was still unbearble. The staff had set up a number of fans before we arrived, but they were blowing very hot air. Leaving the windows open meant that we got the sounds of the north circular all through the night.

Nice and clean, good facilities, good location with various bus stops nearby and both members of staff that I spoke to were lovely.

Only reason I gave it a 9 instead of 10 is because I was there during a heatwave and without air con the room was still a little bit too warm even with the fans they had in there. Not exactly their fault but still something that made the experience just slightly less than perfect.

The location was brilliant for our gig at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium. The staff were very friendly.

The room was soooo hot and we were told that the windows pulled open but they were impossible to open, so we spent a very uncomfortable night. Yes, there was a heatwave though. The shower wasn't very powerful and the shower gel in the room seemed old.

It was in a fantastic place to get to Tottenham stadium for a show. Really easy to find and really nice decor too. We were greeted as we came in and the owner was so nice and welcoming. The bed was really comfy and the room came with a fridge and plenty fans which were a fantastic addition after a hot day.

We couldn’t get the tv or WiFi to work but this was only a minor thing

Lovely staff

2 roims booked- 1 had Broken shower scteen and ceiling fan, bur they did provide a shower curtain and 2 fans instead. 2nd Ensuite access door had staff only on it, so intially wondered where ensuite was.

The Hotel was clean and well kept. The staff were very welcoming and made the stay more enjoyable.

Nothing to report

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower had great power. The room had a decent sized fridge.

Nothing.

Staff were lovely.

The place could’ve been cleaned properly. The corners of the shower were dirty. Needs updating really. Very hot room even though we had 2 fans. Really small room too.

Clean tidy rooms with nice big mirrors

Windows opened when we arrive which was appreciated but a funny smell was coming from outside

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, everything was clean and well kept and we enjoyed our stay

Everything was fine

Need a lamp for less harsh light

The hotel manager is really welcoming and helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for food and transport.

I personally prefer firm mattresses.

Staff are very helpful and wonderful! Our rooms were clean and beds very comfortable, and a good shower! You couldn't wish for anything more.

Nothing !

Location close to Tottenham Stadium

Main centre light wasn't working but wasn't too much of an issue as ceiling lights were working

Staff very welcoming and very helpful lovely and clean nice size room with fridge bed was comfortable plenty plug socket

Hotel was lovely the staff was lovely and kind I will stay here again

I did not like anything at all

Rooms are very small Towels were dirty. There was no information about facilities and no phone extension in room to contact reception and make enquiries. No air-conditioning and fan in room was not working. We expected breakfast when we booked but only to learn at the hotel there was none. I would not come back any time in my life

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient, nicely furnished. Great location. Quiet room.

Room a little bit small, but great for our one night stay.

Secure parking at £10 per day, lovely, friendly staff, fantastic in room as it was very hot, 10% discount at the lovely (and value for moneyalready) nearby cafe. Easy to get to and good location for tube station, shops, bars.

Nothing!

Really friendly staff, easy to park at the property. Rooms are a good size and were very clean. It was a 20 minute walk to Bounds Green tube station so not too far.

Friendly staff Clean and lovely smelling toiletries Nice touch with coffee facilities and fridge

Noisy location overnight street noise and traffic

Other than the lady who greeted us and showed us to our room. None of it. Horrid.

Bed bugs infestation on the mattress and complete lack of care. They admitted to just replacing the mattress we slept on. Implying we’d brought the creatures with us. Also essentially admitted they replace the mattress likely because they knew they had an issue. They should’ve had professional guidance on what to do. Complete joke.

The lady who checked us in was really friendly and chatty! Loved that there was a fridge in room and they provided a fan for the room which was a blessing for a 31 degree day! Had a great night's sleep, the lady told us when we checked out that it was new beds so they have been updating their beds. We were visiting for a concert at Alexandra Palace which is a comfortably-paced 40 minute walk away. Lots of shops nearby for picking up snacks etc. Pretty easy to get into London from nearby Palmers Green station.

The room didnt have bedside tables on either side which wasnt great during the night. Booking.com says the room comes with a hairdryer but it doesnt, you have to ask for it. The bathroom had the shower almost above the toilet which was weird but I understand needing to use the space you have.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and great location for getting into London.

Staff were very friendly, especially on arrival helped with bags and parking etc. Room was clean and beds comfortable, microwave etc was an added bonus. Good location

From a girls point of view maybe could do with an extra mirror, by a socket for hairdryer/straighteners, and maybe extra pillows on beds.

Staff were so friendly and lovely. Great location and room was on the smaller side but we great for the price

Shower was a little dirty near base but overall really clean and tidy

Remodeled, nice and modern finishings, everything worked, reliable wifi, sparkling clean, quiet and safe. The staff went above and beyond to show care and consideration. Highly recommend!

The price in comparison to other nearby.

Very noisy traffic noise outside. Local restaurants and cafes not that enticing! Ended up with fast food..

All good

Clean comfy bed

My family stayed here since our original booking was unavailable and it was very late at night already. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even helping take the bags up to our room. It was nice to have a fresh shower right in the room, complete with towels.

It was unbearably hot and there was not even a fan. There was a ceiling fan, but we could not figure out how to turn it on, despite trying every switch, pull cord, and the remote.

Friendly and helpful staff

Clean high quality room

All good

Nice and clean, parking was useful within a gated area. Staff were amazing

We had a room at the front of the property on the road which was very noisy especially as it was very hot and the window needed to be open.

We stay at Forest House 3-4 times a year because it is very near our daughter's house. We love the friendliness of the staff, the immaculate rooms, the parking, and the comfy beds. The only challenge is my husband's mobility issues and when I can book in plenty of advance notice, we are accommodated on the ground or first floor.

It would be lovely if the windows opened a wee bit more on hot nights. I'm very grateful for the ceiling fans!

Comfortable ground floor studio. A bit noisy from street and backyard activities. Overall good value for money

Čistý prostorný pokoj se spoustou vybavení, velice milá recepční

Postele byly trochu úzké

Staff were initially friendly and location was good for transport links in to London.

The room we were first offered, was on the ground floor and the windows didn't lock. When we asked about this, we were offered a different room on the first floor which we accepted. Unfortunately when we went to bed, we soon realised that the bed was infested with bed bugs (there were many bugs of different sizes). Obviously we couldn't stay under those circumstances, so we ended up leaving and driving home in the middle of the night. We were not offered alternative accommodation or a refund at this time. We immediately sent an email to the hotel explaining the situation and asking for a full refund. This was not answered. When we then phoned the hotel, we were met with excuses and evasion, and no apology was offered. A full refund was also refused. Only when we contacted Booking.com did the hotel eventually apologise for the inconvenience and finally issued a full refund.

Locația bună

Salteaua nu este de calitate

The staff member who checked us in was lovely, helpful, and explained everything clearly. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with heating, a fan, TV, fridge, safe, and plenty of storage. The bathroom was great, with a spacious shower. The heating worked perfectly when we needed it, and the bed was really comfortable and good quality.

As I’m a light sleeper, I found the bottom floor quite noisy at night due to traffic. Also, some beds are low down – worth noting if anyone has a bad back, though this wasn’t an issue for us.

A 0-24 oras check in nagyon tetszett es a biztonsagossága a helynek.

Staff are very helpful, warm and welcoming. The location for a show in ally pally was ideal for me. Bus stop right outside so easy to get around. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed is super comfortable.

A little noisy

It was good

Staff

Friendly happy staff , great location as only 10 mins to the tube

Room was extremely warm even with the fan on n extremely loud in n outside the room late as night .

My copanion wnet out for awhile and he seems know thngs more than me as he tols me he left already. Othare than this issue. Everything is goof.
