Provider-sourced guest reviews.
It as convenient for the purpose our trip
It was such a long walk from the lobby to our rooms
My room reservation was downgraded.
Checking in took sometime, we have to wait fir more than 30 minutes.
The leaky roof in the hallways, and that noone answered the phone for room service, I had to walk to the restaurant to place my room service order
Loved the actual hotel- it is beautiful with an amazing history. We plan on traveling with our family next year and may re-visit We are Australian and loved the pool- but were confused about how to get towels and there was no service in the pool area (drinks or food) The pool was good in the heat
DO NOT ORGANISE A PICKUP/ DROPOFF WITH THIS HOTEL- GRAB IS SO MUCH CHEAPER The pre organised pick up fee is ridiculous! Do not do this- just do a 'Grab' at the airport- make sure you have the App. Unless they are prepared to negotiate a more reasonable price after this review. It's absolutely ridiculous! My actual amounts - We organised a driver with the hotel prior to arrival, and the airport to hotel driver price was Philippine Dollar PHP 2000, I'm Australian so Au $47. When leaving we ordered a 'Grab' (after recognising the ridiculous price) and the total transaction (including the international transaction fee) was PHP 346, Au $8.00. So, a massive difference of-Philippine dollar approx. $1600 ( Au $37). So the total difference is- 2000-346 =PHP- 1654 (AU $38.46) Can't say it any other way- DO NOT ORGANISE AIRPORT TRANSPRORT WITH THIS HOTEL They also need to consider the pool staff- we didn't know how to get our towel and there were no staff to serve us at the pool (for food and drinks) and they also had signs up saying that we cannot have our own food and drinks but they had no staff to serve us, this was very confusing. So ...we can't bring our own drinks and there is no staff- LITERALLY NOT A PERSON TO HELP if you are wanting to swim and enjoy this pool, and you cannot order a drink- because there are no staff in the pool area. So...sounds awesome- accommodation close to city with pool-not what you get!!
The facilities and location
The restaurant.. They don’t serve bacon at all .. LOL
The location is near to the park and restaurants..
Nothing
Le cadre , le petit déjeuner
Le prix restaurant vraiment trop cher , il tombe en loque , bien dommage pour ce bel établissement
Location near the event I was attending.
Trash on the street 50 meters outside hotel - not the fault of the hotel but it mars the elegant stay.
Fantastiskt hotell. Byggnaden är över 100 år gammal och det ser väldigt fint ut.
Frukosten kunde vara bättre.
I booked a three night stay at the Rizal Park Hotel; after I had contacted the hotel about handicap accessibility, identifying myself as a 70 year old PWD (person with disability) that uses a cane. I specifically asked if I would encounter stairs and if yes; do the stairs have a handrail and is there a handicap ramp that bypasses the stairs. I initially contacted Rizal Park Hotel on 29 March and got an email reply on 31 March; “The hotel is generally accessible. We have ramps available for entry points.” This was for my arrival in Manila; I selected a different historical Manila hotel for my four night arrival stay. For my trip departure I contacted Rizal Park Hotel on 27 May and got an email reply on 28 May; “Hotel is a four-storey building equipped with working elevators that provide access to the guest room floors. We also have stairs with handrails available within the property. For accessibility, ramps are available in selected areas of the hotel.” On 28 May I responded via email, “Thank you very much for your detailed accessibility information; your guidance gave me the confidence to make a three night booking.” On 11 June at 3:30 pm I arrived at Rizal Park Hotel lobby entrance; there were stairs without a handrail and No handicap ramp. The guard said to drive to the parking lot back side of the building, where there are stairs with a handrail and a ramp with a handrail. This phase 2 entrance is open 24 hours per day; there are seats to sit inside and 2 elevators to the amenities (swimming pool, gym and guest rooms). To reach the check in lobby you proceed through a tiled corridor, then up an inclined corridor that is without handrails and is both tiled & carpeted, then a carpeted corridor that reaches the check in lobby. Clearly the phase 2 entrance is Not the hotel check in arrival entrance ... when the front entrance guard directed me to the parking lot back side of the building entrance; he did not use his radio to advise the hotel front desk or security that I was arriving at the phase 2 entrance. I was fortunate that some hotel employees that had been moving laundry bins, offered to assist me with my suitcases. I thought I had prepared for my first visit by reaching out to the hotel to confirm accessibility; clearly the accessibility information was misleading. The safety of hotel Persons with Disability should be taken seriously with complete fact based details. Batas Pambansa Bilang 344 (BP 344) Accessibility Law of the Philippines provides clear guidance. Rizal Park Hotel is a beautiful historic building that offers a unique stay; during my stay there was one working elevator (2 additional ones were blocked off) in the original building providing access to the guest rooms. The hallway carpets had wear and sections patched; the 3rd floor had wet floor signs in the hallway by water that had dripped. My Jr Suite room #338 was in excellent condition; with a very comfortable bed, walk-in shower, refrigerator and view of Manila Bay. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet served in Rizal Cafe both mornings at 6:30 am; there was a good variety of food choices, plus omelets made to order. Both mornings Charlie, dining room staff, was kind enough to assist me in plating my food selections … with a cane in one hand and the plate in the other hand his help was greatly appreciated! What I thought was odd was the breakfast buffet had zero juices; water and coffee were offered, plus an iced tea beverage. In my opinion; Rizal Park Hotel’s greatest asset is clearly their team of employees, friendly & smiling, with some Superstars that were outgoing employees that anticipated your request. Both Jeremiah from the front desk and Charlie from Rizal Cafe were Customer Service Excellence in Action! After breakfast on my 2nd day I decided to cancel my plans for the day and simply rest my right knee. At 5:45 pm I talked via phone to Jeremiah at the front desk; I asked him to cancel my 6 pm hotel Rizal Cafe reservation as I wanted to stay off my right knee, I would just order room service. I called room service and there was no answer. I called back to the front desk and Jeremiah said he would have room service call me; after waiting over 35 minutes for room service to call, I gave up and went downstairs to the front desk. I talked to Jeremiah telling him room service never called me back. I told Jeremiah that I tried to make the three night stay work despite the accessibility issues and now the room service failure, but I was checking out 1 night early. If you are a Senior Citizen or PWD traveling by yourself; there are better safer accessible hotels to select from. Now that the Rizal Park Hotel Management is aware their accessibility information is not completely accurate and specific; hopefully Hotel leadership will address this critical guest safety issue. If the hotel General Manager developed a detailed “Rizal Park Hotel Accessibility Fact Sheet” to send out when they received an inquiry, it would greatly assist potential PWD guests understand potential accessibility barriers.
Evening meal on public holiday was exceptional, the staff and catering was of a very high standard. Attention to detail, attentiveness and service. The food provided in presentation and taste extremely well done.
Dilapidated building though states renovation in progress. Mouldy collapsed ceilings rotting walls and carpet, paint and wallpaper peeling, and that was the ‘ restored ‘ sections. Pool FULL of baby poo, children weeing and adults blowing their noses into the water in front of disinterested staff. Abused for taking sunset photos yet staff friends allowed to do modelling photo shoots at pool. Extremely rude staff all over except restaurant. MOUNTAINS of garbage and rusting scaffolding as view instead of ocean view as paid for. A very sad crumbling mess, cockroaches crawling across foyer floor as staff stood around playing games.
Rooms is Good. But i find it a bit dark at night. the hotel it self they need to put enough lights especially at night. Staff are helpful and was able to answer our inquiries. even it was a short stay my husban and i enjoyed the serenity of the area unlike other hotels that are crowded at the lobby area. breakfast is so so. but over all i am still ahppy with my stay and the hotewl deserved a 5 bubbles
I stayed here because my friend invited me and she is very proud of how the hotel looks like. i must say yes looks a smaller version of Manila hotel but better (not to compare) but i feel safer with Rizal Hotel few pewople at the lobby. sadly, they are not pet friendly knowing the rooms are not carpeted hope soon they will launched a pet friendly room so i can bring my furbabies with me
Excellent Service! Overall is good. Nice to have ma'am Veronica Lazo - very accommodating & responsive and very considerate. I'd love to book there with my family next time.
I have an appointment in US embassy so I decided to stay. room is spacious, although i haven't chance to try my breakfast (hopefully next visit) and the pool. the hotel is good and the staff is amazing
Nice customer service and the check out is smooth thanks to sir rushdee and sir kurt
If you want to explore the historic place of manila it is near to all historic locations, like luneta, national museum, pasig river esplanade, manila ocean and intramuros . They also have infinity pool and spa which is very good! The front office is also accommodating! If you want peaceful and historic place to stay if you must book this hotel
The hotel offered a comfortable and delightful stay. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-kept, and the personnel regularly displayed professionalism and hospitality. The ambiance was pleasant and peaceful for guests. Noise levels were typically low, allowing for a relaxing stay, while occasional sounds from adjacent neighborhoods could be heard during peak hours. The hotel's location was quite accessible, with easy access to key attractions, transportation hubs, and businesses. In terms of value for money, the hotel provided high-quality amenities and services at an affordable price. Overall, it provided a pleasant guest experience and is recommended for both leisure and business travelers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
All staff are very accommodating and friendly💙
The hotel is clean. Colonial feels and Relaxing. Staff are welcoming. Sadly not so sure if i will still be coming back since I will be base in LA.
The hotel lacks of something that my parents and i are wondering. but the reason the hotel is good is the people who are always willing to assists. we are planiong to go back on September duting my birthday. i am hoping to see the same faces who assisted us during our stay.
I had a wonderful experience at Rizal Park Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Special thanks to Sir Kurt and Sir Rushdee for being incredibly accommodating, professional, and attentive to our needs. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The hotel was very elegant! The staff were extremely professional, courteous, and accommodating. Everything was so clean and lovely. The history of the building was also very interesting. The breakfast was so tasty, and offered many selections. We will definitely stay here again!
There was nothing which we didn’t like!
I recently stayed at Rizal Park Hotel and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely unbeatable right across from the historic Rizal Park, within walking distance of Intramuros, Manila Cathedral, and other key landmarks. It’s so convenient whether you’re here for sightseeing, business, or just a relaxing break. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending classic Filipino heritage with modern comfort. The lobby is grand and elegant, and every corner feels well-maintained and clean. Our room was spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished with a large, comfortable bed, crisp linens, and all the amenities we needed. The view from our window overlooking Manila Bay was breathtaking, especially at sunset. What really made our stay special, though, was the service. Every staff member we met from the front desk team to the housekeeping staff was warm, polite, and genuinely eager to help. They greeted us with smiles, answered all our questions, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, too. The hotel’s facilities, including the pool and lounge areas, were clean, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great location, rich history, excellent service, and great value, Rizal Park Hotel is definitely the place to be. We’ll absolutely be coming back on our next trip to Manila and will highly recommend it to friends and family!
We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The staff were attentive and very accommodating throughout our stay. All of our requests were followed and handled smoothly, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—highly recommended!
Reservation was fast; senior and children friendly; personnel are courteous; very clean environment, and ample parking
The design is old but well-maintained. The ambiance and lighting are awesome, and I really liked the floors. Both the front desk staff, housekeeping and the guards were accommodating, making us feel very welcome. The room also had a nice flooring, and the numerous hanging chandeliers were a big plus. Neither the hotel nor the swimming pool felt crowded. Although the pool is small, it's quite nice and offers a view of Manila Bay and the ships. However, we have a few observations that need to be addressed. First, I saw a large black rat in the buffet area, which was very alarming. I informed the kitchen personnel but she simply said they couldn't control it. Second, the front door was difficult to open and we were only provided with one key card. There were no shavers and shaving cream on the first day. My room lacked a refrigerator and had a broken cabinet door. The telephone was also faulty, interrupting my calls to housekeeping. Finally, our room did not have a good view. Despite these issues, it is generally still a good hotel to book.
Stayed here for 2 nights had i had a great stay at Rizal park hotel. Front desk receptionists are very accommodating and warm especially kurt and rushdee. Housekeeping also did a great job at cleaning my room. I will come back to stay here again
No internet or TV for most of my stay. Staff very friendly but not capable of assisting. Management clearly missing. Only 1 elevator works.
Terrible hotel. Poorly managed. Water was dripping from the ceiling in many places. It may have been a nice property in the 1970s, but is totally run down now due to lack of maintenance and care. Staff are oblivious to the situation. See my photos, which speak for themselves. The restaurant does not belong to the hotel and you have to pay your bill separately there, can't charge to your room. The hotel has no bar or lounge where one could have a drink. I had to check out two nights early due to a political rally that resulted in road closures in the area, and I would have been stuck at the hotel. Despite promises to refund the unused nights, after more than three months I have not received the refund. The hotel remains unresponsive. Stay away from this property.
Old World Charm located in the heart of the country. Clean, orderly, well apppinted rooms. Quiet. Far from the noise of the boulevard. Food is great.
I called this hotel multiple times to cancel my son’s reservation, but no one answered the phone, which is very disappointing, especially for guests calling from another country. When I finally reached a clerk, I explained that my son, who is in the United States Navy, had a reservation from January 26–30, 2026. His ship was unexpectedly diverted to the Persian Gulf due to the Middle East crisis, so he asked me to contact the hotel on his behalf to cancel, reschedule, or request a refund, as he couldn’t do it while deployed at sea. The clerk directed me to Agoda.com, where the booking was made. Agoda then instructed me to contact the hotel directly for a refund or reschedule. I called again, only to encounter the same issue—no one answered the front desk. This has been extremely frustrating. I hope the hotel improves its responsiveness, especially for guests with urgent or special circumstances.
My wife and I have stayed here before. We love the location and the value for money was worth it. The Housekeepers were lovely, there was a particular gentleman who went out of his way to help us get a fridge and a safe, i feel bad because asked his name and I've forgotten it.The Front and gate securities were really helpful and friendly. Front desk were amazing, specially John. The Chinese Restaurants staff weren't as friendly though. The other restaurant staff opposite that though were actually amazing specially a boy I was speaking to.The gym and pool staff upstairs were exceptional. Rizal Park Hotel has a historical vibe. We really love the room and the ambiance. All in all We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends.
We had our wedding reception, preparations and pre-wedding video shoot here. All was streamlined and well-coordinated. The staff members especially with the banquet section have been very accommodating and sensitive of our vision and requests. Thank you for such a great experience! Kudos to Ms Adel and Ms Lorelie Joy for being hands-on always. 😊
Pool was not free for the whole stay even though lead to believe it would be. Breakfast buffet was terrible and the most expensive in all the places we stayed. Suspicious looking white stuff and dried edges on what I think was cold meat to replace bacon(no bacon in a place where Pork is served everywhere), burnt omelette, dried brown slices of apple was the only fruit offered in a country known for its variety and great taste of fruits, no juice, bad coffee with powered milk and no other option to this, weird dry canapes? instead of ingredient options to have with eggs, condiments lacking and traditional Philippine options didn't look great. Thin walls, could hear a concert for 2 whole days form park nearby, we had to leave the hotel or have earphones in to get some peace. Really disappointing experience.
Très bel immeuble et bien situé
L’immeuble n’est pas bien entretenu. La piscine ne fonctionne pas et des marques d’inondations aux plafonds sont fréquentés. La nourriture n’est pas excellente alors que le cadre ancien l’est !
Ligging
First of all, the 1 star I gave is only for the hotel staff. They were polite, accommodating, and welcoming. That’s it. My family and I booked a 2-night stay to celebrate New Year’s, mainly because the hotel is near Luneta and we expected to watch the fireworks. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us well, which gave us a good first impression. However, things went downhill once we headed to our room. The elevators were not working, so we were forced to use the fire exit stairs while carrying our luggage and with a child with us. We had no choice since we were already there. The room itself was actually nice spacious and clean. What we liked most was the balcony with a mini garden facing Luneta, which made our New Year’s celebration enjoyable, especially during the fireworks. Unfortunately, on New Year’s Day, we experienced another major disappointment. Around 9:00 AM, the room started to feel very hot, and we later found out that the air conditioning was turned off. Seriously? On top of that, we planned to go swimming, only to find out that the pool was closed. So to sum it up: No air conditioning No pool Broken elevators There was simply nothing left for us to enjoy. Because of this, we decided to cancel our second night and check out early. It’s really unfortunate because this could have been a 5-star experience if we hadn’t gone through all these issues.
Centrico . Trato personal
Instalqciones antiguas. Piscina no operativa. Desayuno no adecuado a 5 estrellas
La gentillesse du personnel, propreté de la chambre, confort de la literie
La vue sur un mur, piscine fermée
Beautiful architecture and the reception staff was friendly. They agreed to a late checkout as our flight was late night.
Terrible housekeeping, the aircon in the room didn’t work and the temperature was set to 30 degrees and we had to call the maintenance person to fix it at 2.30 am, only got fixed after 3 am in the night. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely terrible service, the staff didn’t know basic things on the menu, kept coming back and saying things were not available. They gave us the bill before we were half way finished with our meal. Although the restaurant staff was friendly but wasn’t able to help with some basic information. Additionally, the pool was not functioning during our visit which was bit disappointing Outside the hotel they had some strikes going on, so it was impossible to get cabs to the property. Consider long waiting times.
the room is clean
no ref
The front facade is the only thing that is beautiful... the rest is bad...
First the hotel is OLD and shanty and their food is as old as the hotel... its cold, dry amd definitely not palatable!!! They don't charge cheap so it is very depressing to have that experience for that price. totally dont trust the photos!!! If you're expecting a hot shower you'll be disappointed.. we let the front desk know and promised to have it resolved in 15 mins and hours after tried calling them again promised to change our rooms where theres hot water running but never happened. There's more to say but i leave it at that.
Tolles hotel und gute Lage und sieht sehr schön aus
Alles sehr gut, gym könnte größer sein, aber für hotel gym mehr als ausreichend
Stunning Hotel, reall old colonial vibe and lovely clean rooms with amazing shower.
The surrounding area is a little far from the centre of Manila, so not great for walking to the shops, the hotel will arrange a Grab for you, however 😀
Ambience and vibes of the lobby
Location. There are many events held at the premise and we got caught in road closure and I was late for my work appointment.
The history was incredible.
The kitchen was filthy and we were not served. The floor in front of the kitchen was so greasy that it was dangerously slippery. Then during breakfast they were painting the walls around the food.
1. the staff were all very courteous, accommodating and very responsive to all our complaints. 2. parking was very spacious 3. nice and cozy lobby, hallways and interior design of the hotel was a breather.
1. no cable tv during our stay and for a new year's eve staycation, if the hotel has no activity to offer like fireworks display or treat for their clients, at least a working cable tv is essential. 2. unfortunately, the elevator going to the swimming pool viewdeck was under maintenance, we have to take the 3-storey stairs to watch the fireworks over the metro. 3. no personal ref in the room 4. buffet breakfast has limited choices 5. towels need replacement
Nothing
Extremely poor hotel and very bad service provided. Dirty areas, very bad smell everywhere. The hotel looks very old and the breakfast was awful. We even saw a few cockroaches in the bathroom, one even died in the room!
good
The building itself was aesthetically beautiful since it has a history. Clean. Comfortable and accessible to nearby attractions. Plus, the view from the pool, the sunset was very nice.
Pool is not heated. My daughter and cousin got sick bec of too much cold water. Telephone is ringing but no one is answering and it took time to respond to our request, we had to go down the lobby to personally ask for our needs. My mom also got locked inside th bathroom since the knob is broken, and it took like 30mins before someone went up to assist us. I also understand that weekend is packed but I asked for late check out since its my daughter’s birthday but the lady in the front desk didn’t allow us to extend just for an hour. Too bad we were not able to go to ocean park which is the main reason of our stay since water in the pool is too cold we travelled from San Pedro, we were tired, but my daughter was very excited to jump in the pool. Sadly, she got sick bec of it.
Not much…
Out of three elevators only one was working The whole place seems to be fouling apart Very limited breakfast You get only one towel no heard towel
I like the ambiance because it’s an old structure that was previously renovated. Feels like home although during my stay i already noticed a lot of areas that need to be maintained. An entertainment area like a casino or bar should have been reopened.
The building near the American embassy has to be restored and maintained properly. I just had one encounter with a girl staff at the reception who booked me to a musty old room at the back even though i purchased the room accommodation 3 months prior to my stay. But i was re assigned by another male staff to my dedicated and reserved room during my complaint.
Nice, clean, friendly staff
Breakfast not enough selection of food. Overpriced!

La gentillesse du personnel, les buffets, la piscine
Rien
The hotel itself is nice, well presented, and visually appealing. The rooms were clean and the property has a pleasant overall look.
From a tourist perspective, the location isn’t great (although this isn’t the hotel’s fault). The hotel appeared to be short-staffed, and there was a strong damp smell in the ground-floor lift area. The rooms were extremely cold and difficult to regulate, even with the air conditioning turned down or switched off. The shower water temperature was only just warm, and the room service and food quality were disappointing. At check-out, a room inspection was required, but we weren’t informed when it had been completed. This left us waiting while our taxi was already outside, and we had to go back and ask, which was inconvenient.
Vrlo uljudno osoblje, sve čisto i još su nam donijeli ogrtač za kupaonu jer smo imali izgubljenu prtljagu. Bio je Božić pa je sve bilo prekrasno okićeno .
Nema toga
Colazione pessima Struttura vecchia decadente Anche no
The new building area (room is Ok), amenities Ok, pool n sauna Ok. Old or vintage feel is Ok
Junior suite view is the concrete pavement. Embarrassing. Holes on the ceiling because of water dripping. Breakfast venue not good reception, ambiance not good, food not good, servers/cooks for omelette are kids - maybe OJT.
The reception and front area staff were great, always made us feel welcome. The hot water availability in the shower was super. No mini electric hot water heater that malfunctions every 2 minutes. The location was nice as it was easy to get to from just about anywhere in Manilla.
The breakfast was not very good, I got egg shells in the scrambled eggs twice. No chiller / fridge in the room.
Some of the staff were great in looking after our stay. I really appreciate their sincerity.
There was a protest happening on the day of our arrival near the hotel. We couldn't be dropped off any where near the hotel. We had to drag our luggages after a long flight to the hotel for about 30 minutes. I do think the hotel should have communicated with us about this. Also when we informed, the reception didn't take this into account.
Nice and quiet location
The hotel is dated and falling apart
Staff were very pleasant and the reception area was done up very nicely with a christmas tree that looked stunning. Fairy lights outside the building looked awesome at nighy.
Building and rooms are very old and tired. There is a bad smell of dampness in many places throughout the motel, with water ingress and mould evident in several places and water buckets placed on the floor collecting drips from the ceiling. Many floor tiles were loose in our room and also throughout the motels walkways. In the attached restauarants there was often more staff than patrons and the service was usually reactive rather than proactive. The included breakfast buffett at the cafe was very limited and not many options for those not Philippino.
The swimming pool in the rooftop terrass is lovely, and the location in front of Rizal park and a 15 minute walk to the Intramuros (old town in a Spanish style). The SM shopping mall is also close (best with a taxi or Grab or tuk tuk). The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The hallways could use a coat of fresh paint, but its good value for money. The breakfast was limited and the eggs are deep-fried in too much oil- better try the breakfast noodle soup.
Recently visited this hotel for a 1 night stay, and needless to say I was disappointed with this stay. When first arriving at the hotel, the outside looks good, could do with a paint however a very nice building! However, once you get inside, there is a pungent damp smell throughout the hotel. This is clearly caused by frequent damp patches on the roof which is surround with black mould. You could even see wet drips on the floor under these! The wallpaper is also falling off the walls. I have heard it’s been like this since last year so clearly no effort to fix these issues! Desperately needs refurbished as the buildings currently a waste! The halls which were very long I could only describe as creepy, the old decoration and dullness looked out of a horror film. Breakfast, I have to say was disappointed with this as well, food just wasn’t great. Electrical issues also throughout the hotel, no safes are working and also issues with air-conditioning. 1 of the 2 lifts also not working. Our balcony door locked, however, didn’t seem to lock well. This had shared access to a garden with other rooms which could easily be accessed by them so it didn’t feel overly safe. On a positive, the staff looked extremely smart in suits, and were also fairly helpful and welcoming. So overall, not a great visit here, definitely will be better options in Manila so would avoid here until refurbishments take place.
場所が良い
初日はお湯が出ない。 ハウスキーピングが遅い。 廊下が雨漏れしている。

Muf, schimmel. Algemeen zeer slecht onderhouden
Where do I start by saying thankfully only a 1 night stop over stay. Opted for this hotel as looked different and had a lovely old fashioned vibe. Hotel roofs leaking everywhere you go, even had a drip from ceiling land in my breakfast plate so needless to say didn't eat it. Wallpaper falling off walls, carpets thread bear Lifts broken Foosty/damp smell throughout Pool area no sunbeds to relax only broken chairs 1 toilet roll , 2 small towels, 1 small shampoo and conditioner Dated rooms, no fridge, midnight flight and not allowed to keep room on, safe not working, patio doors don't lock Breakfast awful, no where to buy even a juice, no bar Rooms were noisy from road and moving around hotel Please look elsewhere so not book this hotel will spoil your holiday.
I am sorry to give this fine old building a poor review, but the former Army and Navy Club needs some repair. There were buckets collecting water dripping from the ceiling in the corridors! I know the management is tackling this problem. The staff ( with the notable exception of trainee, Ryan) are not as well turned out or enthusiastic as some of their counterparts in other local hotels. The breakfast buffet is poor. Very little fruit available and what there was, looked tired. Mainly caters, understandably, for local tastes.
The location is fine for visitors wanting to visit Old Manila or who have business in this area. Otherwise, stay in Makati. Staff tried their best.Poor value for money.
Tasty breakfast. Courteous staff. Amazing sunset from our room with a sea view. Great to have a pool and gym and stay in a beautiful historic building.
The Internet was down for part of our stay.
Great location, friendly staff.
It was pretty run down and old building , it needs a lot of maintenance. There was a kinda damp smell throughout the hallways and a couple walkways. Staff were friendly albeit abit slow.
Since 2023, I have been visiting Manila annually to attend a convention, which has allowed me to stay at various nearby hotels, including some of the more upscale options. I chose Rizal Park Hotel because of its proximity to M Hotel, where the convention is held. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, I was greeted by exceptionally courteous staff. Everyone welcomed me with a warm smile. The Concierge team was very approachable, and the check-in process was swift. They even offered to bring the receipt upstairs to save me from waiting long at the ground floor, which I found very thoughtful. The room was clean and cozy, and I really appreciated the interior design. On the second day of my stay, my colleague transferred from another hotel to Rizal Park Hotel. Upon his arrival, three staff members immediately assisted him. That sense of attentiveness and teamwork creates a truly positive feeling. What truly stood out to me was how peaceful and quiet the place was, giving me the restful, undisturbed sleep I needed every night. It made my stay all the more comfortable and refreshing.
