Location is ideal for the main area of Blackpool beach/ Pleasure Beach theme park etc. It’s a quiet road set back from the main beach road of Blackpool, but just one road back so you could walk to a lot that Blackpool has to offer if you are adventurous and fit/ enjoy walking. There is a lift inside so helpful if you have mobility issues however, do not use the stairs at all if you do have mobility difficulties as they are giving away in places so feels quite scary to try to ascend/ descend on them. The one employee/ owner/ person we met after calling them on the mobile phone (no one is based on reception) was friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store around 5 minutes walk away if you need anything (as the hotel facilities are pretty much closed). There are 5 parking spaces outside of the hotel but it was quite easy for us to find on street parking.

The hotel is very tired. The rooms are all very dated with one very small desk lamp (like from the 80’s, with a bendy plastic neck) as the only softer lighting in the room otherwise you have to have about 12 down-lighters on at all times. The blinds for the windows are vertical blinds with many of them missing or broken/ damaged. The first room we were given, by the friendly person that came to reception (there appears to be no one on reception as there is just a board with two mobile numbers to call), was on the first floor and the door lock was damaged, appearing like it has been broken into previously. As we entered the room, there were to high up small windows which you couldn’t see out of as they were frosted. You could not see out of them at head height anyway. We returned to reception and called the mobile number again as, as mentioned, no one is on reception. The man immediately provided us with another room, located next door to the first room, however other than the two windows, there was little improvement. The bathrooms have been refurbished at some point however the rest of the room lets it down so much. We don’t like to have all the “big lights” on until bed but there was no alternative. The pillows did not have pillow protectors on them, with brown marks and slobber marks over them. The carpets were so dirty, to the point I found my flip flops from the summer still in the car so used them the entire stay so as to not have to walk on the carpets. The bathroom basin tap dripped all night despite our efforts to stop this. I would say, in our opinion, this is ok for a contractor to get their head down (with your own pillow) but not much else. There was a bar mentioned when booking however, on arrival, there was a sign saying it was under refurbishment, but it looked more like they chose to close it after the summer, which was disappointing.

Great location close to pleasure beach and shops aren’t too far away. There was a kettle and tea/coffee provided. Lots of soap and shower gel which was a great addition. Breakfast was lovely but breakfast area was a little run down and dull. I felt like I was sitting in a school canteen, and the staff were nowhere to be seen if you needed help with anything.

I really liked the hotel however cleanliness was the main issue. The young male receptionist wasn’t very enthusiastic to be at his job it wasn’t a great welcome to start off. The room balcony was broken , bedroom roof had damp spots from the room above as the roof was starting to bubble under the plaster. Mattress felt like I was lying on springs at some points. Make up marks on the wall at the mirror that needed cleaned off. Tv was located above the single bed which to me screams health and safety hazard especially with the low hanging wire and it looked like it has fallen previously due to refitting marks on the wall. However my main issue was the dried in snot on the bathroom wall in 3 places, not sure how the cleaner missed this as I noticed it instantly it was absolutely disgusting to see. The room door didn’t close properly you had to almost lift the door to try shove it closed which there is no way I could have done myself if I was alone. Last thing was we were in the family room with a baby and the main issue was getting the pram into the room, it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre the pram round the tight bends without crashing into the wall or taking the baby out to lift the pram into the room.

The room was a good size, clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big and spacious and stocked up with toilet rolls and amenities. Staff was one person running the hotel and restaurant. The lift was a good size. Parking just outside rhe property was free. Parking in the streets nearby was free, some are permit parking so be aware of that.

The breakfast was shocking. Burnt dry scrambled egg, missing on rhe breakfast was bacon, fried egg, beans, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes, all stated as included in the full English breakfast. Just two varieties of cereal, also yogurt, bread for toast, orange juice, apple juice, that's it. The tea and coffee was really bad. I'm sure it was a one man band running a full restaurant and hotel as it was the same guy checking us in. We did book for October staying in this hotel but have now cancelled.

The location was ideal and the balcony was good but apart from that the hotel is in very poor condition we were in room 10 the bed was broken and dipping all down at one side, the room was frozen cold when we said to the reception was told that the boiler wasnt working ,there was no hot water from sink had to boil kettle for water to wash ,the breakfast was terrible what food that was there was burnt and very dry basically inedible,was not told prior to arriving at the hotel bar was closed which was very disappointing as no shops were even close for a drink ,the tables in resturant was all sticky and very dirty ,the cuttlery was dirty the glass jugs for milk was all broken at tops which was very dangerous and sharp the whole place was filthy throughout very poor condition to be honest the place needs shut down it was absolutely disgusting

I liked how close it was to the pleasure beach with easy access on the tram,the staff were really friendly and helpfull when you could catch them and the cleanliness of the hotel.Breakfast was also included in the rate and decent WiFi

The room was so cold due to the heating not being on,the toilet seat wasn’t even connected to the toilet and on the first night the bathroom window wouldn’t shut at all so due to the bad wind the bathroom door was banging all night.The blinds were also broken/fallen apart.The bar was closed for refurbishment so we couldn’t purchase any sort of drinks/snacks as advertised and there was no shop nearby.the breakfast was also not as described and there was a lack of cereal for kids.

The welcome was friendly, staff helpful and found us extra pillows, bed was comfy, towels lovely and room clean.

Very tired decor, frayed carpets on corridors, cobwebs in areas, appeared to be only 1 member of staff on duty at breakfast so was a bit chaotic. Not clean enough, mice/rat excrement on the carpet in the room, sink didn't work, dirty bed sheets and we had to leave at 2am with a 4 and and 1 year old as they was drug taking and banging from the room above the whole hotel stunk of cannabis this was going till early hours. We managed to get a room at 2am at Hampton by hilton which is £20 more a night and its spotless the comparison is light and day however the hotel Upon leaving agreed to refund us the 2 nights there was a few families and couples doing the same it just wasn't good at all, the bar is closed aswel it is being changed into a Indian restaurant i cant comment on the breakfast as we wasn't there my breakfast was amazing at Hampton by hilton however.

Plug socket made phone charger get very hot (tried in different socket and plug was fine) Dirt/ dust/ rubbish inside radiator. Dirty skirting boards. Broken loo roll holder- sharp sticking out metal. Dirty marks and food or blood on walls. Bathroom floor not cleaned (plastic on it upon checking in). Pillow stuffing completely spilling out but hidden in pillow case. Paint coming off all over the place. Mattresses pinged every time you moved on them they were so worn out.

The room was untidy litter behind cupboards and bed , bed was uncomfortable due to being broke , broken plug sockets no privacy at all especially in the bathroom where the window is right near the toilet over looking houses behind who can see right in as not a frosted glass window with my 6 year old in the room as well who didn't get any sleep due to what sounded like all the other guests in the hotel banging all night kids running up and down the corridor till 2 o'clock in the morning, paper thin walls banging from every area jumping off beds , couldn't even watch tv as no aerial due to it being robbed previously so couldnt even put the tv on to mask out the noise , cleaner just went round with a can of air freshener just sprayed the room then that's it hotel smelt , trip hazard right outside our room big metal piece coming up from the floor where my 6 year old nearly fell on it.

Place needed a good overhaul. It was scruffy, room had holes in plaster, carpet threadbare in places, bedding had dirty marks in it, bed had a caster missing off it in the middle so looked as if the bed was going to collapse. Awful place to stay wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Nothing like the pictures on the website.

Staff (apart from 1 lad) were unprofessional and unhelpful and had no regard for quality of the stay. You can hear everything from surrounding and above rooms so don't expect a decent sleep. Bar was closed for the 2 nights/3 days i was there. No staff on reception. Housekeeping had been before i got there but didn't see them again. Photos do not represent the condition or services offered. Would never book this place again.

There is building work going on indoors in the lounge and bar making it a safety hazard. Fire alarm went off at 1 am on Tuesday and the owners did not know what to do.

The hotel was fine but alarms going off at 1am had to leave and would like a refund but they are not answering my calls really really poor customer service will never book again.

Booked to stay here two nights, the first night of our stay we were awakened by the 🚨Fire Alarm🚨 at 01:10 we were told at that point by guests in rooms adjacent that it was an alarm fault they were told. The alarm went off numerous times(Around 30) until it stopped around 03:30. No one told us anything(Staff), zero information passed if it was a fault or a real fire or just someone smoking in their room. I had to go down to find at 03:00 and was told it's fine to go to bed just a fault. In the meantime it is an exodus, people are packing their cars up & fleeing, those with young children and disabled in fear for their life. No word of a lie this is a 👹"HOTEL FROM HELL"👹. We had stayed here two years ago and it's very clear to see it has been taken over and not even ran to the standards of Faulty Towers, as at least that would be funny. This place is 😱 frightening 😱 my wife was not comfortable on our arrival there are people just loitering around reception. The rooms are tired, degraded, needing TLC, clean-ish cracks on walls wallpaper hanging off, were by no means snobs but there are minimum standard levels of living & this is close to the minimum. Never stayed for breakfast as we left at 09:30 checked out and booked another hotel nearby for a sleep. We were told we would be refunded by the manager for the night we did not use and he understood why we were leaving. Was told to contact Booking for a 💳refund. Booking says that the hotel will not respond now to their emails or calls. So out of pocket also U will never receive a refund from these people gave them three days no response still💰. If you value your money ,safety, sleep and mental health & infact your wellbeing 🚑AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Friendly staff, breakfast was good alot of choices and kept being refilled if something was running low.

There was hair in the bed. And fire alarms went off at 12:55am wasn't sure if someone was smoking or there was a fault but it kept going off so didn't sleep well after that.

It was close to the pleasure beach as we had wave rider tickets for the weekend.

Unsafe, unsanitary, and a terrible experience for a family. We checked into Room 18 and had to leave immediately. On arrival, staff double-booked our assigned room and disagreed with us before removing another family from it. When we entered, the room was filthy, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the cot requested for our infant was not provided. Most alarmingly, the balcony fence was completely loose and insecure, presenting a severe safety hazard for a small child. Also the door didn't close properly and you had to bang it and it left a huge gap at the top. The conditions were unusable and unsafe, forcing us to abandon our stay instantly. We did have tickets for the waterpark Sunday which we have managed to reschedule for next Saturday. Luckily.

The hotel was very rundown and unfortunately we would not recommend it. The bar/reception area was in complete disarray. Staff were literally lying around, while drinks bottles and glasses from previous days were still left on tables and the floor. Parts of the area appeared to be partly dismantled, with tools lying around — including Stanley knives — which was particularly concerning with children around. It certainly wasn’t somewhere you would want to sit and spend any time. Our room itself was okay, but the bathroom had a lot of mould, particularly on the shower curtain. There was no hot water from the shower, while the water from the sink tap was scalding hot. Breakfast was very basic but bearable. The common areas generally felt old, rundown and unclean, with strange neon lighting in the hallways changing colour every few minutes, which did nothing to improve the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is in serious need of refurbishment, better cleaning and much more attention to the communal areas. Definitely not somewhere we would stay again or recommend.

Dont bother contacting the property with any issues, they dont get back to you. Booked for my daughters birthday.... There were no blinds at all on one of my windows. Could see into my room from other properties. On the other 3 windows, the blinds were shoddy and didnt fit properly. No curtains, so very light in the room. No fan, so very warm. No air con. The bar facility and communal area was closed im assuming for maintenance - no apologies for this, werent informed of this prior. Had 2 neurodivergent kids with us, so chose a property with communal area. Breakfast was subpar at best. The room itself was not well presented, and the first chair I picked up to get past was sticky and dirty. No pastries. No fruit. The sausages were that youd get at a chinese chippy. The eggs were smoothered in greese. And they served chips for breakfast (yes, chips! 🙄). The tinned tomatoes were cheap and cold. The breakfast was the only thing I was looking forward to after an awful night sleep, left feeling let down and disappointed. Still waiting for a response nearly 3 weeks later.
