Great hotel in a convenient location. Rooms well appointed, clean and comfortable. Clean towels were provided every day. Good selection of breakfast options at the buffet. Large, well equipped gym. Lovely, friendly staff.

The chinese restaurant in the hotel (hotel has buffet restaurant and Chinese and Japanese dining rooms) advertised itself as vegan friendly but wasn't. We were looking for vegetarian options and they had none.

The room was specious.

The hotel is not a luxury hotel, it’s more a local hotel. The welcoming was very uncomfortable when the stuff wanted us to pay an extra 400rmb for a bed to the Family Suit(2 adults & 1 child) and it continued all over the stay when they refused to include the child in the breakfast and lounge(again - we have paid for it in advance). The lounge - don’t count on it.

The hotel is not the newest end, not the most luxurious in the city. However, I have to say I was positively surprised. The suite I had was kept very well. The price value relation is good. Food was decent. Staff was sympathetic and helpful. And the cute Panda I got as a titanium member gift was very well received by one of my daughters. Overall, at the prices they currently charge, an HOTEL which I can recommend.

The room is wonderfully spacious, and the large bathroom is stunning. Everything is very clean, and the bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. This is already my third stay here; I’ll definitely book here again and highly recommend it!

A comfortable, quiet stay in a great location within walking distance of several large malls and many dining options. Service was excellent and the staff clearly appreciated Platinum Discovery members. Minor maintenance and cleanliness issues — one curtain wouldn’t close fully, and housekeeping could be more thorough — didn’t detract from an otherwise excellent stay. The convenient room layout, comfortable bed, and efficient robot delivery service made this a five‑star experience.

Everybody in hotel have problems with English. The spa area is untidy and needs renovation. Quite meager breakfasts.

I had a pleasant stay at Pan Pacific beijing , way beyond my expectation. The staff were very accommodating, polite and attentive. Huge room and very clean.

Локация была для нас хорошей в соотношении к цене номера. Номера чистые, завтраки и еда с хорошим и большим выбором. Шведский стол есть на завтрак, обед и ужин. Приятная администратор в зоне ресторана на завтраки и обеды и ужины.

В начале мне показался грубым персонал, но возможно это было в результате неправильного перевода. К слову когда мы пользовались переводчиком через AI он часто додумывал и говорил слова которые я не произносила, возможно это было в две стороны.

Pan Pacific Hotel was an excellent choice. Both the hotel itself and the service exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very spacious, large, and perfectly clean, which made our stay extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — with a wide selection of both cold and hot dishes, so everyone could find something they enjoyed. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. We also used the spa facilities — the massage was excellent, and the swimming pool was very enjoyable. Just keep in mind that a swimming cap is required for the pool. Another great advantage of the hotel is its location — very close to shopping centers and within walking distance of the Forbidden City. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I like its very modern and customer-centered design of the room, elevator, and hallway. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I love the fact that a big shopping mall is just next door.

Great hotel in wonderful location. Friendly staff however, a little difficulty communicating as very few staff spoke English. Lovely bar with sweeping views of Beijing and delicious cocktails.

Отличное местоположение. Прекрасный классический отель. Отличная уборка и очень хороший завтрак. Ну и самое главное это очень ответственные, дружелюбные и профессиональные сотрудники во всех подразделениях отеля.

Была проблема с оплатой картой Viza, но благодаря стараниям сотрудников ресепшен оплата прошла успешно.

We stayed 5 nights at the Pan Pacific Beijing Hotel. We had booked a Deluxe Suite but when we arrived they told us they had upgraded us to a Premier Suite. The room was very nice with a large bedroom and separate lounge area. Bed was very comfortable but the bath wasn't - it looked stylish but wasn't comfortable to relax in! The breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. Two reasons I didn't give this hotel 5 stars: 1. The location - we used the metro to get around and, for sightseeing, it felt quite a trek to get anywhere. In hindsight, I think the Wangfujing area would have been better, and limited the time we were travelling on the metro. 2. Confusion over the 'privileges' we should have got with the room. In other hotels that we stayed in at we were giving written information on what we got with the room. This did not happen at the Pan Pacific, and when I asked at check in, they said something about a free meal but that was it. I asked if we had lounge access and was told yes, but we never found the lounge! It also mentioned on their website we would have complimentary laundry (2 items a day) - we had two items during out stay and was charged for them - when I queried it I was told it wasn't included. I know we could have tried to clarify the information with the staff on front desk but, with the language barrier, it wasn't worth it, and we still had a nice stay.

De kamer was ruim en proper. De bedden zijn zachter dan gemiddeld in China. Het ontbijt was lekker maar er was wel veel lawaai, tenzij je in de ruimte boven kon zitten.

Het personeel aan het zwembad was niet altijd even vriendelijk. Voor wie het niet gewend is: je moet hier met een badmuts zwemmen dus die moet je ofwel meebrengen of je kan er één kopen in het hotel zelf.

We stayed in a big room for my family. Every thing was perfect. Clean room and kindly staff. My son enjoyed the swimming pool and my parents enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Very closed to shopping malls and restaurants. As a five stars hotel it really Worth the money

On our 1st ever trip to Beijing and travelling with my wife and 2 teenage daughters, we decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Beijing and selected a Family Room. There were not a lot of photos available on the booking website and details overall were scarce so hopefully this review helps. Consistent with the other reviews, the location really is ideal. Subway stations are a short 5-10 minute walk away and the Joy City Mall right next door provided not only great shopping but also a plethora of dining options. This neighbourhood actually has many malls and is very vibrant with activity. The main tourist attractions are also within close proximity. The Hotel staff overall was friendly and accommodating (even helping us load a bit of cash into Alipay). It is primarily a few front desk staff that speak a bit of English. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good mix of Western and Chinese cuisine. The room itself was spacious enough for the 4 of us. The family room offers a full king size bed with 2 singles in the adjoining space that can be separated by sliding doors. The beds are soft and cozy. There is a small fridge in the room but no kitchen or laundry. One pain point for us was the fact there is only 1 shower requiring a rotation for the 4 os us to get washed up. The 2nd smaller bathroom is small and similar to a powder room. Storage for clothes is somewhat limited and we were forced to live out of suitcases lying on the floor. The room was clean and orderly although it is clearly evident that a refresh and modernization will be required in short order. Overall it was a positive stay and a hotel that my family and I would likely stay at again on subsequent visits. I feel the hotel is worthy of its 4.5 - 5.0 star rating and value for your dollar is good.

Japanese Restaurant

Buffet Restaurant average food and closed lunch time early and taking food away before we had finished. Very few staff spoke even passable English. No Happy Hour which is common in the Far East. Terrible hotel driver who was not at airport on our arrival, drove badly, and even bumped into car in front because he was looking at his phone

Pas de réponse au mail envoyé à la réservation. La plupart du personnel ne parle pas anglais. Après 6 nuits (soit environ 144 h) au tarif plein d'une chambre qui n'est pas économique, il faut insister lourdement pour avoir un cadeau de 2 heures sur le check out : ce n'est pas commercial. Aucune remise, aucun cadeau. Grande déception.

Great hotel to stay in, all the staff will very helpful and efficient. There a shopping mall just beside the hotel, there is also a food store seem like open 24 hours just opp the street. Highly recommended this hotel.

With over 8,000 hotels to choose from in Beijing, choosing a global chain like Pan Pacific comes with certain expectations. When those expectations are not met, one can’t help but question why the premium was paid. While this hotel is well located and outwardly equipped with all the trappings of luxury, it is very much a case of impressive hardware paired with largely absent software. Service throughout our stay was inconsistent and transactional, with little effort to make guests feel genuinely cared for. Upon arrival, we were a family of nine, including both elderly parents and young children. There was not a single seat offered during an already lengthy check-in process - where is your lounge area? Do people have to stand around all the time? While I could have overlooked the lack of seating, the process dragged on unnecessarily, and staff were unable to assist us efficiently despite our GHA Discovery Platinum status—which, regrettably, seemed to carry no recognition here. We were offered a room upgrade but declined in order to remain on the same floor as the rest of our family. In return, we requested breakfast for my immediate family of five. Only two breakfasts were provided. This is particularly disappointing given that we had booked a FAMILY ROOM designed to accommodate five guests. As a hospitality organisation, selectively feeding some occupants of the same room but not others is difficult to justify—especially when one of them is a young child, unlikely to “bankrupt” a breakfast buffet. The situation became even more baffling upon reaching our room. A FAMILY ROOM sleeping five guests was equipped with only ONE bathroom. When we requested a room change, we were informed that no family rooms with two bathrooms existed. This is a crucial detail that should be made explicitly clear at the time of booking. Five people sharing a single bathroom is hardly a luxury experience, regardless of how plush the towels may be. For readers considering this hotel: if you are booking for four or five occupants, this room configuration simply does not work. Matters worsened when my elderly father fell ill and required medical attention. While the front desk helpfully suggested a clinic and arranged ride-hailing, it did not occur to anyone to call ahead to confirm that a doctor was available. As visitors unfamiliar with the area, we relied on the hotel for guidance. In freezing -8°C weather, with a bronchial cough, my father arrived at the clinic only to be turned away. While I don’t place full blame on the hotel, a more proactive and empathetic approach would have made a significant difference. In similar situations at lesser-known hotels, we have received far more attentive care. We took these missteps largely in stride, but the final disappointment came when we were informed that we could not earn loyalty points because the booking was made through Trip.com. The business ultimately still goes to Pan Pacific—these are your rooms and your loyalty programme. That said, you’re welcome to keep the points. I’ll be taking my loyalty elsewhere.
