Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The cabin was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 young children. Double is really comfy and it was convenient having the toilet in the shower cubicle. The bunk beds are good for small children. I would say if you're bringing older children to book bigger accommodation due to room lay out. I would like to stay the night before next time to enjoy the evening entertainment but as it was the drive home the next day we could only send the kids to get cookies and milk at 8.45pm, definitely could do with being around 7/7.30pm. Will stay again. Keep luggage minimal, avoid a suitcase where possible or store it on the decking (sheltered)
Loved the little quirkiness about it
I didn’t realise it would be so small
Needs a significant touch up
It’s all fine
Loved the decor, the feel and vibe
Basic, no plates or cutlery but has a microwave and a fridge?!
Perfect location and great price for simple clean accommodation
Wasn’t as nice a space as last time I stayed so less self catering options.
Comfortable bed, nice location, quiet.
Sink above toilet far too small to even have a shave or brush teeth. Bathroom smelled terribly (due to damp maybe?).
We were upgraded to a Dino room on arrival because of the rain, the Dino cabin was brilliant, bunk beds and a comfortable double bed, with small shower room with loo!
We could hear the noise from the main restaurant/entertainment site, because we use a sound machine for our daughter it didn’t really bother us! So pack your white noise machine!
The booking process should be reviewed as they don’t tell you exactly what you are paying for. The pictures on booking.com are a bit random and don’t tell you how the facility will be for you to get prepared and make an informed decision of the room you are paying for.The shared toilets/shower were like 50 metres from the room and looked abandoned. The place has some lovely rooms and those are the ones mostly used for advertising so you go there thinking all the rooms will be similar to what you saw on pictures. For someone who is travelling from far and has never been there, this should be looked at.
Good location, lots of different options.
Wasn’t very clean, marks all over the blinds/walls. Mould/disrepair in the bathroom. Kids bunkbed mattresses were very hard & uncomfortable. Could also do with more than one pillow each. Good concept and cute, just needs a bit more upkeep/TLC.
Nos encantó la cabañita y el personal muy amables y atentos.La hora de entrada era hasta las 10 de la noche y sin embargo, nos esperaron hasta la 1 de la mañana que llegamos en Uber
No hot water but was quickly resolved. Microwave stopped working, mouldy fridge and mouldy nets in kids bedroom next to bed and window mouldy, broken skart lead behind tv kept coming out, wasn't very clean, lots of attention needed and deep clean and things need replacing, was expecting it to be better for what we paid, was dissapointed and wasn't acceptabel, was told housekeeping would get told but not much else said, stayed in lost world lodge, urine smell in toilets in the lodge.
The quirkiness
Distance from car park to accommodation
Well deal for money
bed was not comfortable and staff was not really ready to help
Was really nice place , food was nice and location from Woburn farm great , our lodge was really nice
Loved the little log cabins, ideal and also no idea whos cat it was but he kept us company aswell made himself at home 🤣 even had some of our tea
The cabin was nice and cosy
I booked a tepee but upon arrival was told there getting taken down, also I arrived early there was nowhere to sit cafe/resarunt was closeed as was reception and was made to sit outside and wait for 2 hours
Être dans la nature
Les sanitaires étaient situés assez loin de la tente
Spacious
Oven wasn’t clean and wasn’t working door handle to one of the bedrooms just a bodge job so upset my son
Overall atmosphere
Fridge didnt work toilet stunk of sewerage ive now got sore throat second time ive stayed in different cabin stunk that time aswel not able to key lock the door on inside is problematic with infant kettle on side also dangerous no headboard these things should be dealt with
There is not a huge amount to like about Adventurer's Land. It is tired. Run down, badly run and not well maintained.
The accommodation we stayed in was filfthy dirty, unkept and badly maintained. The site facilities are not well looked after or professionally managed. The wi fi did not work in the accommodation. There is evidence of permament residents on the same site that is used by guests. Leaves it feeling strange and unsafe. Stagnent and smelly lake [marketed as a lake view]. Absolutely shocking. Would never want to return. On complaining to the management. They admitted full liability and offered my family tickets to Gullivers Land/to return. When I explained this was not a suitable resolution to go to Gullivers Land as my son has SEN needs and did not cope well on his last visit. I was told I had refused the tickets. With no accoutability for my son's needs or providing a satisfactory resolution of a refund as part of breaching Consumer Rights and the contract as an accommodation provider. Booking.com have tried to resolve this matter on my behalf. The management at Gulliver's Land now do not now reply to booking.com emails in relation to resolving the matter. Whole experience has been terrible- not only been a loss of money due to the accommodation being so unsatisfactory.but also in terms of their inability to follow through with standard, recognised processes for a consumer.
Loads for young kids.
Easy to find, clean and tidy.
only stayed for one night not sure it would be big enough for longer.
The staff was very kind, the check-in is at 4 PM, but they were allowed to leave our bags at the reception. The bunks are good for short time, like in the camping, only for sleeping.
Small bathroom.
Amazing staff location and different apartments
What’s thrre not to like
Amazing stay like alwsys
Great little stay, somewhere different, great location, peaceful and relaxing!
Nothing.
Good atmosphere. Close to attractions Interesting themes
Bathroom cramped, sink attached to toilet system felt unhygienic. Activities on site limited. Restaurant food bareable. Unable to fill kettle.

The kids liked the bunk bed
The bedding had a very bad smell, water pressure was very low
Comfortable main bed , microwave
Single bunks very hard, shower leaked all over the floor
Had no breakfast
Food in restaurants the prices , was pretty high. Asking £15 for pizza.
Erm, possibly the greeting from the member of staff, very welcoming, informative and helpful
I thought I had booked a tent, I was put in a shed/hut, it was uncomfortable, dusty, the electric didn’t work on the bottom half, it was too hot, overall terrible night sleep, would not book again,
Good value near where we wanted to be room for all of us was a fun little room
No hot water
Location to Milton Keynes Bowl.. short drive.
Tepee tent wasn't the one advertised in the pictures.. alot smaller that what was shown. Facilities quiet far away and filthy, toilets blocked toilet, we paper on the floor, sanitary towels stuck on walls. Bad smells. Ended up checking out after an hour.
Quirky cabin with plenty of space in a lovely setting. With porch to sit outside. Spotlessly clean and comfortable inside with fridge and microwave. Bribg iwn plates, bowls and cuttlery as only two cups, two plastic beakers and 1 teaspoon provided. Which i thought strange as has fridge and microwave. Very peaceful and quiet at night time.
No plates bowls or cuttlery
Location
Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest in the corners and didn’t smell the nicest
We loved this cute stay in the heart of Gullivers! So much to do even though we weren’t actually going to the theme park. An arcade, movie night and entertainment for the kids each evening. Toasting marshmallows, musical bingo (we won!) and cookies and milk at bedtime for the kids! The chalet itself was cosy and clean with everything you need. A lovely balcony overlooking the lake. We had a bathroom but the shared facilities were also exceptionally clean too.
The bar was a little chaotic and there aren’t loads of food options but it has all the basics!
Good location and good for kids.

Absolutely gorgeous place ..could do with a little more here and there but everything was good and staff were great ..very friendly
Need a kitchen area closer to tents, also put a kettle and toaster in it would be great..have to pay extra into farm if book on booking.com ...needs better entertainment in a bigger room Also fix the pool..needs to be open was gutted
The location was excellent and the stay
Could of been separate location for couples
Location was perfect for us, free parking was a bonus. Lots of activities on for younger children. Good quality, fluffy towels provided.
Room was compact which made it very hot especially in top bunks so none of us slept well. The window only opened a small amount so couldn’t get much air in. Shower was boiling and we couldn’t get it cool enough to use. Generally in need of a good clean, especially the bathroom.
It was just right
The price
The staff were useless. We asked for a trolley only to be told "if there were none out, then they were in use." This was at a time when there were only a handful of people at the park. The staff in question thought it would be more important to sit down and chat to each other than go behind the gate and get a trolley. The park in general needed to be cleaner, you could see small pieces of rubbish everywhere, like there was no pride in it looking nice for any of the staff. Staff were really scruffy, again no pride...just iron your clothes and don't have half your shirt un-tucked. A lot of amenities at the park were turned off, shut or no longer in operation. (Amusements, shop, toy diggers, splash zone) The toilet in the bathroom of our cabin absolutely stunk of urine, like it hadn't been cleaned properly over time. The smell was unbearable until we used our own disinfectant wipes and gave it a proper clean. And lastly the pin for the car park gate didnt work once. The first time I pressed the buzzer the receptionist had the audacity to say "are you the guy thay just checked in, make sure you're pressing the star first" which I was and I wouldn't be calling if I hadn't tried that. Despite it not working continuously throughout our stay, no one seemed bothered to try and fix the issue
Comfy rooms for a nights stay
We had a comfort room (Jungle safari) which had bunk beds a double bed and double sofa bed. It was tight for space but more than suitable for what we needed with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was clean, more than enough bedding and the balcony at the front was nice to sit out and look in the morning. The site is easily accessible and great facilities on site for younger children such as play parks activity centre. Plenty of parking. Please note there is no cutlery or crockery and only a microwave available. Unfortunately we didn't read the small print to know this which is our fault but be prepared if you are taking your own food. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't eat there.
Selected late checkout before arriving, no one informed us on checking in that it needed to be paid for before the morning otherwise i happily would have. Reception came banging on the door twice waking us up at 10am telling us we needed to go to reception to pay for it now. Then a 3rd cleaner also tried to enter our room. The whole point of £30 for late checkout was to be able sleep! I don’t know why they wouldn’t just charge us at checkout?
Location to the venue we was attending and the amount of room in a tipi
Showers were not the cleanest and hardly no hot water or toilet roll
Πολύ καλοί οι άνθρωποι εκεί θα ξαναπάω την επόμενη φορά που θα πάνω με την οικογένεια Ουαλία θα μείνω σίγουρα σε αυτούς.
Foarte curat, echipa prietenoasă. Extrem de multe activități
Nu cred ca as avea reproșuri
The room was clean and it looked really good. My daughter loved it. She was really impressed by the sink-toilet combination, and I was happy that we could save water.
Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep all night because of bangging doors and yelling all night - the neighbours. Just my luck.
Liked the theme of the room, it made it fun and exciting for the children.
Excessive noise from teenagers, graffiti in room on sides of walls and under beds.
Nice location, small property and useful
The bathroom wasn’t clean enough and the sofa bed wasn’t suitable to sleep on it And the tent had not electricity. I think it is necessary in darkness
The staff and the experience.
The shared bathroom showers were not great. The shower was cold and uncomfortable. Not much facilities in the shower cubicles to put your towel, clothes, and toiletries while you shower.
We have stayed here for the past few years when we travel to milton keynes and can't fault it.. rooms are fab.. plenty to keep kids entertained.. very reasonable on site restaurant and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.. would highly recommend for anyone travelling with kids..
Ideal location for everything in Milton Keynes. It's accommodation with a difference.
Kids chasing the swans
Clean
The prices were very inflated because of the F1
We had a good stay at The Adventurers Village. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It's also a great place for families with kids, with plenty to keep children entertained and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we would happily consider staying here again.
There was no Wi-Fi available, and the room initially had no hot water in the bathroom. However, the staff were very friendly, apologised for the inconvenience, and quickly offered us another room, which we really appreciated. Their helpfulness made the situation much better.
Such fun, amazing price for a single adult explorer to enjoy the Beach hut and relive childhood. I used to stay here when I visited the Open University around 2018. I have not been back since. It breaks the journey between Yorkshire and Brighton (family and my new home), so hoping to come back. I had no idea the surrounding park was so large. I cannot wait to explore more but the heatwave made it impossible.
Be handy to have a couple of plates, knives and folks in beach hut. I wish that splash park was open given the heatwave for an adult traveller. I guess I am asking too much.
It was very Spacious and clean
That I requested a cot for my 1year old and they didn’t get back to me message and my request and still nothing …when I went back to ask for one no one was around so my child ended up in the small double with me and my husband so an unsettled sleep
Well situated for what we needed. The beds in the TP’s were surprisingly comfortable.
On check in they didn’t know where our TP was situated. The staff weren’t keen on being at work. Anything we asked for wasn’t working or coffee machine had just been cleaned so couldn’t be used to make a Tea. Shower facilities were horrendous. No hot water in any shower. Not enough space to get changed without getting your clothes wet. No power outlets for hairdryers etc. Generally not clean.
Absolutely brilliant
Can’t say anything bad to be honest
Peaceful, quiet, relaxing
Dead bugs on the table, widow sill, bed side cabinet. My phone dropped behind the pillow and went down the back of the mattress. The filth there ,used cotton buds, sweets, dust, hair and 🤢🤮
We had a lovely cabin. Nice and big, lots of space.
We asked if we could use one of the Bbq pits to cook a bbq safely and we were told yes. Then a member of staff over reacted and started making a scene that we had a started a fire and came with a water bucket. Really unnecessary. Luckily was resolved quickly and our sizzlers escaped a soaking.
It was near to Gulliver's theme park
The whole place needs some TLC it's dated & shabby. The accommodation was not clean, it needs a deep clean - corners thick with dust, sticky floor, Mould in the 'wet room' you could see it & smell it. The restaurant only had 3 adults choices on offer & 2 kids meals despite a double sided menu. The bar didn't even have soda water. The building had no air con so the staff were understandably sweating which isn't appealing when ordering food! We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 as we couldn't face the second night there. It could be a lovely inviting place,.it just needs some improvements & some of the staff need to go on a customer care course to be more friendly - most struggled to crack a smile. Its theme park accommodation aimed at families so a smiley, friendly face is kind of essential!
Breakfast was very very basic and while some of the staff were very professional others were a bit clueless.
Better coffee facilities in the restaurant and a more interesting menu.
Incredible value, very clean, good fun, characterful place.
Very little not to like.
Sorroundings
The kitchen area, no diswashing liquid, the microwave is rusty, the room is hot on summer,
Nothing
The size of the room, the lack of facilities that a good place would usually have, the staff's manners, etc.
It was clean and spacious
Convenient location
Limited food menu
Peaceful, quiet location
Hot, smelly, hard beds & dirty sheets bathroom stank
Cheaper cleaner fans in room more comfort
Location and lighting at night time.
Too many bugs at nighttime.
Perfect location for getting to silverstone for the grand prix weekend. Much cheaper than staying at the site.
Chalet was a little outdated but didn't affect our stay.
Not a lot, location was good for what we needed it for, and it was fairly quiet
Cramp, hot, no doors on the rooms or even bathroom so no privacy. Mattresses were so thin, it wasn’t particularly clean and what was advertised wasn’t what we had as a room! Wouldn’t recommend as was also expensive considering it’s a wooden hut effectively. Also no ac or fans so it was hot in there!
It was calm
The bathroom were not very clean and the shower was not usable. We couldn’t change the temperature so not nice.
La variedad de opciones de alojamiento
La ubicación es la que es... Un poco a tras mano si no tienes coche.
Location was great, staff welcoming and friendly
Very tired and run down, beds in tent uncomfortable and basic and costly per night for what it was
Nothing
Bathroom, kitchen, tent, Don,t have breakfast.
It wasn’t clear on booking that we would be in a tent. We were expecting a room/chalet but then shown a tent in a field with no lighting, electricity and bare facilities. The staff let us upgrade one night but no capacity the next night so we didn’t stay and went home.
It’s dirty very small hard beds
Small dirty hard beds
Nice green place in American style. You feel yourself like being in a country house. Comfy beds. You have your own microwave, kettle. Wifi is very fast. Free parking
Check in time was inconvenient. Till 22 only. If you come later, you need to pay 50 pounds extra. Bath and toilet are literally the same place. You have a shower and everything including a toilet is wet. Not very convenient.
Good location, clean bedding
Ice cold showers
Came there, just looked and didn't like that tent, maybe it's ok somewhere in mountains or at the seaside but not for 60 pounds per night in Milton Keynes. Asked refund, emailed to the customer service.Promised refund during 24 hours. Still no money.
Cosy fun comfortable bed
Shower update
La atención amable del Personal
Poor level of maintenance in the room
Non water pressure, leaking shower
Great fun options for over night stays
Kids nighttime entertainment not offered in the week
Close to Gulliver land
Gulliver land was closed. No cutlery, TV was broken and had no signal, TV remote was also flat. No wifi. No aircon or fan. No condememts or tea and coffee. Door lock was broken.
It was a nice place for the children to enjoy
Nothing really all was great
Didn’t realise when I booked adventure village that it was actually on site so that was an added bonus. Room very spacious. My 3 young children loved their night away
Bowls in the room for cereal 😂
It felt secluded. Loved the wildlife.
We had trouble finding the entrance. Signage could be improved.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved our lodge and the location next to the little play park was great! The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for a night's stay before Gulliver's land the following day. It was quiet all around us too and the lodges were spread evenly apart. We would stay again.
The only negative was that there weren't any available fans for the heat, so we had to bring our own.
The whole experience
I'm gutted that I'm trying to book a couple extra nights but don't know how to do it
