Its very basic and dated.food is a Greene King and was very standard.

The bathroom is old the everything looks old needs air conditioning

Die Zimmer sind relativ groß und wirklich sehr sauber. Alles in allem war das Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend für uns und es war auch sehr ruhig zum schlafen. Das Essen im Pup war wirklich sehr gut, toller Service, sehr freundliches Personal und auch die Preise waren wirklich angemessen :-)

Leider war das Kopfkissen eher unbequem, aber das ist ja sehr individuell. Was für mich auch nicht so schön war, war das es am Waschbecken zwei Wasserhähne für heiß und kalt gibt - heiß ist zu heiß und kalt ist halt kalt, wenn man sich die Händewaschen möchte....!

Shower water pressure was poor .

The room was pleasant, with extra pillows available The bathroom was clean, with toiletries provided. Checking in and out was simple. Pub food on the premises. Staff were all very pleasant.

The bathroom was very dated with a peachy coloured suite and mismatched toilet seat. The smoke alarm flashed brightly every few seconds, which was ok in the light but very annoying during the night. It was so bright and noticeable even through closed eyes. Walls are obviously quite thin as I could hear people talking during the night.

Moisissure et rouille sur la baignoire. Accent mis sur le PUB et pas l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner continental à revoir, viennoiseries rassies, yaourts et fruits pas toujours disponibles.

Staff were excellent , cannot praise them enough, from the desk staff to the cleaners they were friendly, helpful and made us feel really welcome. Room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable i would definitely stay here again

The outside area, more directly, the pub beer garden was a disgrace. Litter everywhere, kids running around squirting ketchup and vinegar at each other and other customers in the vicinity..

Lovely family pub with clean spacious rooms. Food and staff were really nice. Highly recommended.

Has seen better days and is in need of a major refurbishment. No aircon made things somewhat uncomfortable on one of the hottest days of the year.

All the staff very helpful and friendly as they went about their work. Special thanks to Paula in the bar and all the cleaning staff. Sterling job!

The post code on Bookkng.com was wrong - it took us about 20 minutes to find the hotel

Staff were all Lovely and clearly working hard.

This is not in a nice Greene King, it's in a ropey Hungry Horse so manage your expectations. Food in pub was fine. Decor in hotel corridors was shabby. Bathroom was peach coloured like it had been there for about 40 years and there is no air con in the rooms. There also seemed to be a bloke living in his van in the car park which was a bit unnerving and odd. If all you want is to put your head down for a few hours it will do but I wouldn't book it for a leisure stay. Also at breakfast all the pastries were out and there were flies all over them, perhaps a net I've them would be good.

Good location for our needs

Difficult to find, sat nav couldn’t find it. Parking difficult, Very hot in rooms , inadequate very noisy fan in room was broken and had to mend it myself, no drinking water available in room, bath slippery and no bath mat . Windowsill covered in dead flies, black mould in the bathroom seals around the bath, very dated decor. Breakfast ok but felt rushed as they were trying to tidy it away just after we sat down at 8.30am.

The bathroom in our room was quite mouldy, with mould visible on the ceiling, tiles, and even on one of the bath towels. Thankfully, we were only staying for a short time. A positive was the pub attached to the hotel, which was convenient for dinner. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, although we found the staff in the pub to be quite rude and unfriendly. We stayed during the Formula 1 weekend and had booked well in advance. In hindsight, we would have preferred to stay somewhere newer closer to the train station. The rooms were also very hot, which made our stay less comfortable.

We have stayed here before. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Location is very good for us. Beds are so comfortable and big. Bathrooms are dated but so clean, we cannot fault the facilities. Staff are so helpful and friendly.

Stayed here before as it's good value for money in a great location. Staff are always welcoming & room was clean, bed was comfortable, great water pressure from the shower. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was even a fan in the room as it was hot. The Hungry Horse next door also does a great breakfast & lovely helpful staff. The prices for drinks & food is also great if your on a budget.

Staff were super friendly and helpful,close to the m1 and having a pub and hotel together was a godsend, area is lovely and quiet

The plug in the sink didn't seal so didn't hold the water in, very annoying if you want to shave and the toilet was very snug between the sink and wall

Breakfast is limited to very sugary items or meat. Doesn’t suit everyone.

The broughton hotel was lovely and clean had every thing we needed, was great to be able to get reasonable priced good food and drink it was not far from centre mk, ikea etc

I loved the breakfast. It was quite filling. The room was clean with clean beddings, extra pillows, clean toilet area. It was all nice. I could make tea whenever and the Chanels on the TV were sufficient. I could watch World Cup easily. Very good. The ladies at the breakfast point were very friendly. The location is also nice. It was easy and faster to get to the center. I loved the fact that the place is quiet. Very relaxing

The WiFi in room 3 was terrible. It kept tripping. I could barely do any video calls. Audio calls were also hard. I had to get out to get on a call which made it very uncomfortable. The lady by the bar was so tough and hard to approach which made me hesitant to go get drinks from her. When my room was cleaned, I noticed that it wasn’t vacuumed.

Bed was only a double, most hotels have Queen of King size beds these days.

Friendly staff, turned u a bit early but was allowed to check in, which was quick and efficient Clean facilities, room was cleaned every day,good location and food was great, good value for money.

The bed, I understand you need to have hard wearing beds, how ever if you like firmness ( as in stone) then the bed will be perfect for you I found it to be really uncomfortable, im a side sleeper and I did find the bed uncomfortable, but everything else was great. I would stay again if needed
