On-site parking is available for limited cars.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We have been advised by the Queenstown Lakes District Council that major wastewater infrastructure works will be carried out on Robins Road, where the hostel is located.
As part of these works, both lanes of Robins Road will be closed up to Hamilton Road (directly opposite the hostel) from mid-January through to early April. Following Easter, the road will reopen to one-lane traffic, with traffic management in place, until late May 2026.
Vehicle access for affected properties within the work zone will be maintained via the northern end of Robins Road, near the Hamilton Road intersection.
Construction will take place Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Some Saturdays may also be impacted, and there may be brief periods of night work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, these works are beyond our control.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Afløbet i brusekabinen virkede dårligt så der kom vand over det hele desværre. En god ide til næste gæster ville være at tænde for varmen før de kom for der var sørme koldt da vi kom 😆

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Amazing hostel with a super warm, social vibe – you instantly feel welcome, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s games, bingo, movies, or just hanging out and chatting in the kitchen or common area. Everything is very clean (the kitchen is even cleaned several times a day), and the staff are incredibly helpful, offering great tips as well as their own discounts for restaurants, bars, and activities like the Skyline Gondola. The location is perfect, with free parking on site and roads around the hostel, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Skyline Gondola, the town center, and the harbor. I loved it so much that I came back again just a few days later!
During peak times, the bathrooms can get quite busy, but I never had any trouble finding at least one available.

The parking area is quite small, but we were still able to park when we arrived around 2 p.m., and got one of the last spots. The room looks clean, but there are over 20 people sharing 3 bathrooms, so sometimes you have to wait a long time, especially in the morning
It’s a bit noisy — I was woken up early by other people’s alarms. The curtains aren’t long enough, and the stair area isn’t covered, so light comes through and there’s not much privacy.

Viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung inklusive Rabatt für Hostelgäste bei einigen Aktivitäten und Restaurants etc. Ansprechpartner für Notfälle 24/7 im Hostel erreichbar. Gute Lage, ruhige Gegend, fußläufig schnell im Zentrum. Drei Küchen und somit immer genug Platz. Bäder sauber. Waschmaschine und Trockner in einem der Bäder vorhanden. Einige Gäste mit Langzeitaufenthalt. Gruppenangebote (Filmeabend, Pubquiz, Grillen etc.)

The beds only have a half curtain. My mattress was so worn and dipped in the middle that I left with back ache. My room was also hot and smelt funny. There aren’t enough bathrooms so you often had to wait for the bathroom (especially in the evening) and there is no spare loo roll kept in them. Hostel is in a good location but is not as central as others. Seems like there are lots of long term people so felt like I was intruding.

The drain in the bathroom wasn't that good. Every time we wanted to meet staffs to ask something, we needed to wait.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026L'ambiance est hyper chill. L'espace canapé/salon est vraiment très relaxant, très calme, ça permet vraiment de connecter avec les gens. L'hostel est super propre tout le temps c'est agréable, le personnel est adorable. Et l'hostel est calme et reposant !
Peut-être avoir des rideaux complets sur les lits pour vraiment avoir son intimité seraient appréciable.
