Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Good location to airport.
It can fit 5 people for family trip. So I choose it.
Not so clean
Have stayed at this Hotel several times and will continue to stay at this hotel. Always very clean, friendly staff and great included breakfast as well as feeling safe.
Breakfast was wonderful. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Food was hot, good, and varied.
Parking, parking, and parking. Confusing.
The employees were very friendly. The location was very convenient to other restaurants, shops and the University of Oregon. The breakfast was delicious! Very clean, which I loved. Overall experience was amazing and I highly recommend.
Very nicely appointed and comfortable hotel room. Hotel is just a mile or so off I-5, making it a convenient stop, although it is a little tricky to find the first time as it is on the 5th story on top of 4 floors of parking - find the tallest building and drive up to the 4th floor. The hotel is associated with an upscale shopping center (convenient for Oregon’s sales tax free shopping) with multiple good dining options.
Fabulous hotel. Pretty lobby with indoor & outdoor lounge space. Great buffet breakfast. Loved the location next to shops. Consistent customer service.
Had to pay an extra $20 for parking that was not included in the description on the website.
Comfortable beds, nice fitness facilities, good breakfast t
The bathroom wasn’t particularly clean. There was hair and some other things in the shower. Also, the hairdryer was cracked.
The facility was fabulous as was the location. The girls at the front desk were fabulous
Pretty expensive
The Hyatt Place Eugene shouldn’t charge for parking.
Loved the cleanliness, the location and the roof top sky bar area.
Clean & comfortable for our family stay! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well.
No complaints
I liked that the room was clean and quiet. I liked the look of the hotel .
I didn’t know about the $100 dog fee. That seems a little excessive to me.
Modern, clean, excellent breakfast.
Nothing, it was great.
Relatively clean and very comfortable (did not appear to have been vacuumed)
Loved the location, however, website I booked on said that parking was complimentary, but I was charged.

Breakfast was good, property is very clean and safe
Air conditioning and tv were not working when we arrived and we had to switch rooms at 10:30pm but the staff was extremely responsive in getting us a better room.
Clean aesthetically pleasing, great location!
the room, and facilities were great.
breakfast was dissapointing. The staff ran out of food, and many people were dissapointed and complaining. The turkey sausage was not good at all.
The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and shopping.
Very clean, nice staff, great location, nice breakfast with wonderful mountain views
The beds in one roon were too soft, but they changed rooms for us without any problems
I loved the sky bar but wish the prices were a little lower. The balcony was beautiful. The room very clean, even the shower which is rare. I wish the breakfast had better juice options because the apple juice tasted like apple cider and the eggs seemed off but overall I was pleasantly surprised by all the options and sides. I loved the buffet style. Coffee was great. I do tend to choose hotels over whether or not they have a hot tub for my arthritis and I was super bummed that it was down. Hopefully it's working next time. Great customer service though, thank you.
We have stayed at this Hyatt numerous times. The hotel itself is very nice, it is getting a little bit older so some updates may need to be addressed and I get that. Overall, the staff is extremely friendly, I was a little disappointed this time because normally they recognize that we are Hyatt members and offer us waters, which we didn't get this time but it's not really a big deal. The checkout service was not working and so I had to text the hotel and they took care of our checkout immediately and were very friendly and prompt. I do have a few complaints about this hotel. My first complaint is the parking, $20 per night for parking in Eugene seems extremely expensive. This is the only hotel/motel we have ever stayed at that charged for parking in Eugene. Which considering they have their own parking garage floors, it just seems a bit exorbitant. It was $18 which I thought was outlandish but now they've raised it another $2 per night. In this economy, when the rooms are as expensive as they are you would think you could maybe not charge the parking fee. My second complaint is the coffee mugs in the room. After seeing the video of the woman washing her underwear in the coffee pot, it's already questionable to use the in-room coffee pot. Now add ceramic coffee mugs. I get that they are more environmentally friendly and I think that is awesome, however, with the fact that we just had a major pandemic 6 years ago, these are highly unsanitary. Especially when what appears to be crusty mucus that was not completely washed out. The other problem with these mugs is that if dropped, like what happened to us, they crack and then someone has the potential to cut themselves. I think going back to the paper cups is a much better idea, I guess you have to choose the environment or people's health. Overall, this is a great hotel but I feel like they might be pushing people away with their choices.
Almost everything
The hot tub was broken and we were counting on this as we walked more than our normal daily routine because we were spectators of the Eugene Marathon
Everything was great!
I stayed here for a few days while visiting my son who goes to UofO. The hotel was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had a large quiet room. I had my small dog with me and the hotel was very welcoming and even gave me a bag with dog treats, bowl and blanket for him. The breakfast was really good. I got it for free since I am a Hyatt member but it was worth the price if you have to pay. Overall a great stay and a great location.
Good location and clean room, though I had to purchase my own sponge and dish soap to clean the dishes in our suite’s kitchenette. Poor internet and Chromecast wasn’t working. Evening shift folks were a bit standoff-ish, morning/day shift front desk staff were kind and helpful. The guy working the breakfast area was awesome and helpful and friendly.
It was clean and big and a good location.
It was freezing in the room all night. The heater said it was at 70 but was just blowing cold air!!! I DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP THAT NIGHT. Feel like it’s my worst stay in a hotel ever.
The room itself was clean and comfortable and quiet
The room was soooo hard to get to. The elevator was so inconvenient and the room was down several turns of a hallway
Superb experience. Clean and updated room, immaculate lobby. Very friendly staff. Bar in hotel with indoor and outdoor seating. AMAZING breakfast - literally the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had in decades of travel. I only wish they had a digital way to leave a tip for housekeeping as I rarely carry cash. Thank you Oakmont Hyatt Place!
Make sure you ask specifically if that is the total cost when you check in. Also make sure you ask what the parking fee is. The room and food are very good.
Have been coming here a number of years. now it seems like each time we come, something new and negative is operating. Parking fee (not mentioned on website) has increased and formerly did not exist. Breakfast now free for some but others have to pay. No info on website abut who gets free breakfast and who pays. Breakfast options are improved however. front desk staff are friendly but more casual than professional. hot tub not open and has not been available for a few years now it seems. Pool now available apparently. Rooms are nice and parking convenient though expensive now.

Hot tub wasn't working
Great hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Located in a shopping center with lots of restaurants and stores. We didn't have to leave the area to eat or buy snacks, which was very convenient for us.
This was my second stay at the Hyatt Place in Eugene, and also the second time the hot tub was unavailable due to maintenance. It was super cold outside the evening I arrived, so I was very much looking forward to climbing into the hot tub. Didn't happen, so that was a disappointment. Otherwise, the stay was fine. Nothing special. But I do wish the hot tub had been available. Hoping some kid didn't have an accident inside it. If so, I hope the parents were issued a huge fine.
Beautiful hotel, excellent location. The room was laid out well and nicer than expected. The shower and restroom were roomy and bright. The prime location made quick errands for last minute additions to our evening quick and simple. Breakfast was excellent, the service was brisk and kept up with a lively room.
Room was clean and comfortable/.
Breakfast was buffet style and not worth the price.
If you're a Hyatt member........unfortunately this is the only Hyatt location in Eugene. Overall it's a decent hotel with corporate greed ruining the experience. Hotel - Good location, close to local eateries, a Trader Joe's, shopping and look out for the always-excellent Salt & Straw ice cream a short walking distance away. Rooms are generally spacious, housekeeping is consistent and thorough. Parking - Let's reaffirm Eugene, OR is not a major metropolitan city; I get paying for parking in cities like Portland or Seattle but there are less than 5 hotels in Eugene that charge for parking and this Hyatt Place has the unfortunate distinction of being one of them. Parking also used to be more reasonable at $10/night but was recently doubled to $20 for.....no reason? Breakfast - One of the very few Hyatt Places in the world that charges for breakfast! Same quality breakfast as before that you'd find in other Hyatt Place locations (meaning it's consistently good) but now costs $11-per-person-per-day Unless you really really really are a loyal Hyatt member, there are better hotels closer (Graduate by Hilton is a good one).
Hyatt Place Eugene was better than expected. The room was large with a separate seating area, which was so nice for our family of 4. The shops and restaurants around the hotel were a pleasant surprise!
Hyatt Place Eugene / Oakway Center delivered an excellent stay, and I only wish I had more time to enjoy the area. The location is outstanding right in Oakway Center with easy walking access to restaurants, cafés, and shops. I had a quick turn‑and‑burn trip, but it’s the kind of spot where you could easily spend an evening exploring without ever needing to drive. My room was spacious, spotless, and modern, with a stylish layout, comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. Everything felt fresh and well‑maintained, exactly what I look for in a Hyatt Place. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was another highlight fresh options, good variety, and a clean, well‑run dining area. Honestly, this location alone is a big part of why I started choosing Hyatt Place more often. Parking in the attached garage was convenient, though I’ll admit it felt a bit tight with a larger vehicle. Still, having covered parking connected directly to the hotel was a nice perk. Overall, this is a fantastic Hyatt Place with great rooms, strong breakfast, and an unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again next time with more time to enjoy the area.
Hyatt has upgraded their breakfast option which is $11.00 extra but well worth it.
Charge for parking, $20.00
the bathroom light stayed on for a ridiculous length of time after exiting the bathroom. the ventilation system was loud enough to interfere with my sleep--especially in conjunction with the light
It was close to shopping and restaurants.
To far to walk from elevator to our room.
Great place for a staycation! Had my daughter’s birthday slumber party here! The staff was amazing! Close to everything you need for food and entertainment!
Location to work function
1 of 2 elevators was broken down. I came at the same time last year and 1 of the elevators were broken then. Since the hotel has a check in on the 4 floor the elevators situation was a problem. The clean glasses in our room were on the bottom shelf 3 inches from the floor (yuck). They should be higher up. The desk top or bathroom would be better than sitting next to the floor. $20 for parking is a little too much. Should be free if staying the night.
Convenient, great restaurants.
Everything was peefect. Service and customer service was awesome
Stay longer :(
Great location. Easy parking in parking garage. Our one bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable. Mall next to hotel was convenient.
It was clean and spacious
You have to take the elevator to check in
This hotel thinks they are high end and fancy, they are not. You enter the hotel with an elevator. There is no front desk to speak of. The elevators don’t always work. Parking is $20. Breakfast is $11 a person. I’ve stayed at so many Hyatt’s and have always been a fan. This one was bizarre.
Location is perfect! Loved the stores in the center. Staff is great! Hotel clean! Breakfast was amazing! Staff serving breakfast made you feel welcomed and attentive! Can’t wait to stay again.
One of two elevators was broken so the wait was super long. Rate was super jacked up for game day and didn’t include breakfast or parking.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and nice. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the movie theatre. Enjoyed our stay.
We called to verify the hot tub was working and was told it was not. We didn't want to stay if all of the amenities were not available. Needless to say $20 to park. They charged us anyway. Big hit for folks on SS.
The staff was very nice! We didn’t get there till 12 am and the one staff member that greeted us and signed us in was extremely nice! The hotel was very nice, loved the shower.
We used to always stay here when we were in town. The cost has been rising and not worth the $250-$300 a night fee and now with them charging for breakfast it was probably our last time there. It needs to be updated. Bed was way too soft. Breakfast is NOT worth $11.
Best staff ever
Clean and comfortable
A very convenient and comfortable hotel to stay in while having a conference near U of O. The shops and a wonderful brewery provided a nice atmosphere to unwind in the evenings. I especially love how clean and cozy the rooms were -- spacious, quiet, and well-cooled. I was able to take the stairwell to the hot tub and pool without having to walk through public hallways and riding elevators in my wet clothes. The breakfast was amazing and a great value for money. I appreciated the serving of warm and well-prepared oatmeal with a large variety of toppings--I ate that for consecutive mornings, together with an omelet and bacon. I felt cared-for at this hotel...truly.
Nice location. Staff very friendly.
Only one elevator worked of the two available
Love it! Safe, quiet, clean
Great service
The staff was phenomenal and the entire place was so fancy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was noticeably fresh!
Parking was a bit of a hassle
Big room, well appointed. Good breakfast at a reasonable cost, steel cut oatmeal, great shopping and excellent restaurants steps from hotel.
Not a fan of charging for parking when there is plenty of parking spaces.
Nice hotel that is located in a very good area and central to a lot of amenities. Great if you are visiting the University of Oregon.
Loved the secured, covered and monitored parking garage. Beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was so nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. Located in a shopping center with lots to shop and dine in walking distance. Our room was very spacious the only complain was that the AC was super noisy. It whistled all night and that areas a bit annoying.
Eveyone we encountered was excellent
Our flight was delayed until very late so we stayed the night in Portland and when we got to the hotel the next morning, we were told our suite was given away. Not a great experience. Also, we found blonde hair all over the dark carpet so housekeeping clearly had not vacuumed.
Best customer service and breakfast of any Hyatt Place! We’ve been to many and often the breakfast has rolled oats instead of steel cut oats but still gave a sign that says steel cut oats. This place goes the extra mile by serving Vegan sausage and 2 kinds of egg bites, premade omelette, and 15 toppings to go on your oatmeal or yogurt. Why don’t all the Hyatt Places do this? This place sets the standard! Great job Hyatt Place Eugene!!!
This hotel is my favorite in Eugene. It’s super nice with a great price. Amazing restaurants right underneath the hotel . Convenient and safe parking.
Although the property is conveniently laid out by restaurants and shopping. it is extremely difficult to get in and out of the property. The check in process is terrible and only certain elevators allow access to your room. Because you need to take an elevator to check in. I'm taking my bags all over the place only to find out. I need to go back down to my car and park in a designated level on the property! This property is terrible!!!
Excellent property with good amenities nearby. Extremely helpful and responsive staff who addressed a few questions I emailed before we arrived. We loved that we could walk to Autzen Stadium to cheer on the Ducks! Will definitely consider staying again.
Clean
Convenient location near the freeway and Oakway open-air mall, really nice bathroom. The breakfast is much better than competing hotels.
The parking garage setup is confusing, even staying there a second time.
A gathering of business friends met there for one night. Great to have so many dining options right outside the door. And appreciate the Sky Bar staying open for that one last celebratory toast!
Not impressed with being in a handicap room.
Really bad instructions getting to check in
Pool was closed
Spotless and nicely appointed.
The matress was really bad.
A great hotel in a location near restaurants and shopping. The hotel is very clean with a friendly staff that are always willing to assist and answer any questions. The hotel is clean, comfortable with a great housekeeping staff. They work very hard making the rooms clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!!
Location was great
It was very loud. Almost like a generator was outside our window. At check in, the third party booking didn’t carry over so I almost had to pay twice but after talking to 2 different employees it was taken care of.
On-site bar and outdoor patio great. Location very good. Not so good, rooms have no drawers to put away clothes. Suite kitchen no amenities a ton of empty cupboards, no toaster or real coffee maker. Not enough towels and terrible broken uncomfortable couch/bed. Pool out of service and breakfast ridiculous overpriced nothing.
