Location was good for what I needed. Staff were great always helpful and welcoming

Tom at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, and Binh was so helpful in helping us book the busses we needed. We had a room that smelled like smoke because of another guest, and they easily accommodated switching rooms

There is a lobby area to sit and wait with comfortable seats, but it's not set up to hang out and meet other people

De kamers zijn erg klein, niet geschikt voor families. We konden onze tassen voor 3 personen niet kwijt. Geen foto's van de badkamer, maar als je het ziet, begrijp je het ook. Douchen boven de toilet.

The location was great. It’s in the middle of old town. The owner was awesome and gave us a lot of tips for the city. The room is quite small but it was good value for the price.

People is very attandant and try to do rhe best for you, also they want sell all tours to you. We had a twin room wirh balcony but too small for us even have big beds. Its a hostel insife a house...so...its simple.

This hostel is just at the heart of the Old Quarter, yet I did not hear any street noise from my room. You will have a clean and safe place to sleep well. What is most important to me is the exceptional service the staff provide at all times. They were always so friendly, helpful and eager to communicate despite the logical language issues. They certainly deserve a top review. Thank you very much and keep working like this!!!

Hơi buồn một chút vì mình muốn phòng có cửa sổ, nhưng do đặt phòng hơi muộn nên đã hết phòng có cửa sổ rồi. Nhưng không sao, đổi lại được cái phục vụ khá tốt. Mình sẽ quay lại nếu có dịp.

Siamo stati davvero molto bene in questa struttura. Bin ci ha aiutato a risolvere qualunque problema. Lo staff in generale era molto attento ad ogni esigenza.

Floor with cracks and holes, lots of tiny ants everywhere, no plug by the bed or bedside lamp

Mr Tom was an excellent host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well informed about Hanoi. He provided a list of things to do, places to eat, sights to see and things to be careful of. Our stay was made 10/10 by Mr Tom’s hospitality!

This hostel has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which impressed me the most! The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, suitable for young people looking for affordable accommodation in the city center. The location is convenient, close to many attractions and restaurants (Ta Hien Street, Night Market, Walking Street, etc.). I will definitely return and recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for your hospitality!

Khách sạn rất sạch sẽ, vị trí thuận tiện và nhân viên vô cùng thân thiện, nhiệt tình.( Lễ tân sáng chủ động hỏi chở và đón tôi ra lấy ô tô đậu gần đó, rất chu đáo, một điểm 10 cho cách phục vụ của bạn ấy ). Tôi đã có một trải nghiệm rất thoải mái và đáng nhớ tại đây. Chắc chắn tôi sẽ quay lại trong những lần tới và giới thiệu khách sạn này cho bạn bè, người thân.

Malgré toute la gentillesse du personnel l'insonorisation est affreuse! Chambre au 3ème étage et l'impression de dormir dans la rue! ! Avec en plus une porte fenêtre qui ne fermait pas complètement ! Salle de bain vraiment petite et glissante après la douche prise!

Die Lage ist perfekt um alles fussläufig zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr, sehr nett. Mein Zimmer hatte einen großen Balkon, der zu einer belebten Straße führte.

Man sollte wissen, dass man in einer belebten Umgebung ist und das es nicht immer leise ist nachts bzw. morgens 😉.

Alles! Ik kwam savonds aan en het duurde lang tot ze m’n boeking konden vinden, receptionist was druk aan het rondbellen dus duidelijk dat er iets mis was. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik een kamer en dit was ten eerste niet wat ik geboekt had en ten tweede zo ontzettend vies. Overal vlekken op de muren en schimmel. Zelden zo’n slechte kamer gezien. Bij de receptie bleek dat ze geen andere opties hadden dan dit en ik in de ochtend mocht terugkomen voor overleg met de manager, de receptionist deed z’n best maar kon niks betekenen. Ik heb mijn geld teruggekregen en snel weggegaan.

Staff was amazingly helpful and kind, especially Tom, who helped with everything we asked for. Location is also prime.

The facilities are a bit poor but if you are looking for a small place on a budget, it’s perfect.

Great location and very helpful staff! The place is perfect to use as a base when exploring the city.

The bathroom is a “wet room” (shower and bathroom is the same room).

Nice room with balcony, however it’s on a loud street in the old town but that didn’t bother us. WiFi worked well and they offered laundry services.

The location was really good — it’s in the Old Quarter and close to most of the main attractions like street food stalls, shopping streets, Banh Mi 25 😊, and currency exchange shops. The receptionist, Tom, was really nice! Although we stayed only for one night, he kept checking in with us throughout our trip, suggesting lots of things to do and even helping us with some bookings.

The only downside for us was that the room was on the 3rd floor with no lift, so we had to climb the stairs each time. It was a bit uncomfortable for us since we were traveling with family and kids for carrying luggage, but I can’t really complain for the price we paid. It’s a great place for couples or backpackers.

Aircon worked well. Awesome location in the old town. Our room was relatively quiet.

Our room had a leaky ceiling- may not be a problem in other rooms. Very small room. When we left the bus we booked through the hostel made us share a VIP cabin-we are not small people. Thought we had booked two seats in a non VIP bus. Was a uncomfortable ride to Sapa.

I initially booked for Aug 20-22, but I was able to extend my stay until the 24th. The staff were amazing. Shout out to Tom and James especially for giving tips and locations for sightseeing, and great recommendations for the best local food spots. They also made it easy to extend my booking, and organised airport pickup for convenience. The accommodation is also central in the Old Quarter--it's literally walking distance everywhere unless you want to visit the city area. Highly recommended this place as it has everything you need--especially for solo travellers.

Only thing that caught me by surprise is the lack of an elevator. I was able to get around this personally, but if you're bringing a lot of heavy luggage, then it might be something to consider. Otherwise, it's a place I would personally be returning to for value and convenience.

the property was so wonderfully central! 15 minute walk from everything! super clean and nice simple rooms! But what made the trip was the wonderful staff! we arrived at 1am having booked the hostel incorrectly for the next night and lovely Chris called around and found us a room a 10 minute walk away! Our flight was then cancelled and the wonderful staff let us keep our bags at the hostel all day while waiting for our new flight! They also proved an extensive map and list of everything good in the area with opening times and distance! genuinely 10/10 service

The staff and especially Tom was extremely helpful in booking us tours and giving us local recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. They provide really fantastic customer service. The location is fantastic and very central. The price was well worth it for us!

Everything was good for us. For others it may be worth noting that there is no elevator (we were on the fourth floor) and that, as is common here, using the showers wets the entire bathroom.

Very small room without window, bit old and smelly. Clean considering it is so old. Good budget option for backpackers.

The bed was big, room size decent, the price was reasonable and the location was good, the staff were super lovely and helpful.

The bathroom smelt really badly of cigaretts or something else but it wasn't good. There were no windows which could have meant the benefit of darkness at night but the light from the hall seeped in through a greyed out window to the stairwell. The internet cut out a lot.

Need to call out that some rooms are on 3rd floor and no lift means hauling luggage up that is super tricky but the guys really helped there as well.

room was not as advertised. had a strong mould smell that would only go away if we had the fan on. once that was on though it was fine. fridge also didn't work and they said it'd get fixed but didn't.

The location was immaculate. The staff were very helpful, and no words exist to express my gratitude for letting me check in a few hours earlier after a long bus trip. I loved the bohemian sense of the rooms. I'd definitely stay here again.

Couldn't get the shower on the right temperature. Also if you want to go out or come back late at night, you have to wake someone up, which is awkward. I felt really guilty for making someone wake up to let me in. My foot for room 402 was right next to a door which led to another floor up above, and sometimes it was hard to open.

Wonderful place to stay, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Tom in particular ensured we had a lovely stay and took very good care of us. The room was clean, with good aircon and it was in a great location.

Room had a lovely fresh fragrance. It was very peaceful.

No lift to the top floor - but the staff were happy to carry my backpack so that cancelled it out.

Beautiful and confortable Hôtel with very good situation to visit Hanoï. A lot of restaurant near to the hôtel and Liam was a very good person who help us a lot (advice, transport...)

Very good location in the middle of old quarter. Clean and comfortable room. We stayed 6 nights and had a very pleasant stay. But most of all is the the staff (10/10!), very friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Tom who helped us to find a way to get to the airport, us 4 and our 4 bikes !

I was in a room with no windows which I normally avoid but in Hanoi they are better as they reduce the noise. Plus the rooms without a window in this hotel are away from the street. Bed was fine, bathroom clean and functional. Wifi good and noise levels low. Good information about local attractions given on check in.

Aircon was a little fickle, tiny bottle of water provided. Bed linen was paper thin and towels small and scratchy but then it’s a budget hotel in Hanoi so can’t expect too much.

The interior is already pretty worn, room was not as pretty as in the pictures. On the floor they put another layer of flooring and there were some holes. Didn’t look really nice, but that’s okay. We also had a strange smell in the room, which came from the floor or bathroom, not sure.

Ti-An was a great person and helpt me with everything. De location and the facilities where good, especially for the price you pay!
