Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The staff were so friendly and helpful. The function of the hostel was also really well thought out; for example the storage lockers and buckets to store food in the fridge made things really easy and reduced the chance of food going missing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook and there were always clean tea towels to dry washed dishes. In the bedrooms it was pretty functional as well, as the under-bed storage lockers are quite large and worked really well. Also, the pod beds are really handy and they block out the light even if the room light is on, which makes things much easier if you're coming in late or leaving early and others are sleeping. I was in room 6 which was great-pretty quiet despite being next to the laundry. I think the rooms closer to the bathrooms might be a bit noisier.
Basic stuff: there isn't a lot of space to put things down when you go to the bathroom (toiletry bag) etc. In the rooms there are not enough hooks to hang up clothes that might be wet after a day of skiing. Cleanliness is hard when you have a full hostel of people, but the mattress protector was sort of stained and there was hair at the edges of the mattress-I recommend lifting the mattress out and vacuum the space before replacing the protector.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Great vibe in the common area. Central location about as close as you can get to the ski bus stop. Communal kitchen clean and well laid out with great appliances.
Room was very small, so made it tricky to organise luggage etc. some extra shelves and hooks on the walls would be a big help in a compact room like this (we were in a private room with private bathroom)

The elevator was slow so spent most of the time walking up the levels, communal bathrooms can get a bit dirty during peak periods but staff where happy to help if you told them.

Shower and bathroom facilities are a little limited, be prepared for a wait during peak periods.

クイーンズタウン全体、スキーシーズンの宿泊代金が高いのと円安のためで仕方がないが、窓なし部屋としては、他の国や地域と比べるとやや高いが、立地がいいので仕方がない。ベッドがややスプリングが弱めで沈みこむタイプ。

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026好立地。ドミトリーだがpodタイプで個別の空間があり良かった。スーツケースが入る金庫もあり外出の際も安心。部屋も静か。トイレ、bathroomは女性専用もあり清潔。シンガポールやウイーンでもドミトリーに滞在したことがあるが今までで一番清潔。４階に共同のキッチンもあり、近くのスーパーで購入した野菜や冷凍食品、インスタントラーメンなども調理できる。スタッフがこまめに清掃していて、布巾も清潔。使った食器や鍋はもちろん自分で洗う。４階からは湖も見えました。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切。
女性専用８人の部屋でしたが思ったより部屋は狭かったのでスーツケースを広げるスペースがないが、podは清潔で過ごしやすかった。

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026No rules about noise after hours in place or taken seriously, staff not prepared to deal with noise complain. I had an issue where lots of young people where one person was intoxicated talking loudly and even after talking to the receptionist and asking to be moved even offer to pay extra , no reply was received about getting moved Dorms mate was asked to keep quiet but no proper actions was taken . After my second complaints I had to listen to them making comments like “ looks like I’m leaving with mom “ but they still didn’t stop with the noise for another extra hours , late in the night around 2ish more noise around the room . Complaint were not taken seriously and I had to leave the property before check in time as I could not have at least 5h sleep I don’t recommend the place , the room was very cold , noise and staff not prepared. Stella was great but the one with her was talking to friends while Stella was busy trying to do many check in and the other lady was not helpful Waste of time and money !!!
