Not a major thing, It’s beside a busyish road so can be a bit noisy with passing traffic. Breakfast is an option which is good but we were made to feel it was an inconvenience by one of the hosts so we opted for breakfast elsewhere after that experience .

No sound isolation in the hotel makes it really hard to sleep without waking up at the slightest noise from outside or inside the hotel/surrounding rooms. Also, my room had a garden balcony which attracted a lot of mosquitoes. Without an air conditioner I had to keep the balcony open because of the warm weather, but this also meant getting mosquito bites pretty much throughout my whole stay.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Goede centrale lokatie, hadden twee balkons, essentieel voor ons rokers. Zeer vriendelijke Patron, echt familie-hotel. Locatie tussen het centrum met het strand en de wijk met vele restaurantjes. Parkeergarage om de hoek voor 25,- per dag, wel geduld hebben is erg druk.
Op het kleine terras boven de voordeur buiten beetje WiFi, drie meter verder op grote balkon totaal geen ontvangst, dus binnen ook niet of nauwelijks.

Per fare colazione era necessario prenotarla la sera prima, ma non era scritto da nessuna parte e non siamo stati avvisati. La mattina seguente al nostro arrivo siamo scesi a fare colazione in consapevoli di come funzionasse e la signora anziana ci ha sgridato dicendo che non potevamo perché non avevamo fatto richiesta. La camera aveva ragnatele e la doccia sporca, salviette mai sostituite ed infine la reception non è presente ma al suo posto c’è la sala tv che utilizzano i proprietari come salone personale

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026It’s a charming, family-run 3-star hotel. Its biggest strength is the location as it’s right in central Biarritz, with the beach, Les Halles, shops and restaurants easily walkable. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and owners were very friendly.
The main drawback is that some of the décor feels a little dated and the facilities are relatively simple.

Le petit déjeuner est préparé chaque matin avec des produits frais et de qualité (copieux!) La chambre est suffisamment grande, propre et lit très confortable. Sdb spacieuse. Une petite terrasse extérieure très agréable pour profiter du matin au frais! Les arrêts de bus sont à 1min à pied en traversant le jardin public, très agréable pour s'y poser qqes instants !

Al estar en el centro hay bastante tráfico en ciertos momentos y las motos son muyyy molestas

staff is no where to be found if you need toilet paper, towels, taxi etc.. but all three of them are there to bust down your door if you’re 5 min past check out. you’re absolutely on their schedule and it makes you feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. super unfortunate.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026We had a delightful ground floor room complete with small patio and a wonderful fish pond, which was very restful. The hotel was very central, within a short stroll to shops, restaurants and beaches. It was lovely to be able to take breakfast on the shady terrace.
We weren't expecting it, however a fresh fruit salad for breakfast would have made this the perfect hotel.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026The location was really great, an easy walk to anywhere I was going. The room was a good size, and so was the bathroom. I didn't opt for breakfast, but it is available.
No air conditioning. Fortunately, the staff got me a good fan which made the room work with the heat. It's much hotter much earlier in Europe, so just keep in mind if you might require AC or not.

The room was perfectly clean, and the bed was deliciously comfortable. We felt completely at home and totally relaxed. Would recommend to anyone visiting Biarritz to book.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Location of hotel is perfect for Biarritz. Only a few mintues walk from beaches, restaurants, shops. Airport bus stop at the Jardin Public across the road. Owners of the hotel are so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Hotel was exceptionally clean also.
Nothing to dislike. Some noise from the road at the front of the hotel, but that was not the fault of the owners.

Very near the bus stop just across from the Jardin Public which serves all directions. Very helpful and friendly owner and his lovely mother. Excellent breakfast.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Hôtel familial très propre (odeur du linge frais pour la literie vraiment agréable!) et immense chambre avec un beau mobilier Art Deco.Très calme avec une jolie vue sur un square et arrêt de bus pour la gare à 5 mns. Quartier calme mais à 10 mns du bord de mer.
Pas de plateau café- bouilloire mais cela se comprend pour éviter d'abîmer les meubles ou la moquette. Et c'est un immeuble d'un certain âge, les sols grincent. Mais cela ne m'a pas du tout gênée.

Reviewed May 1, 2026The location of the hotel was great for us, we spent 24 hours in Biarritz before flying home from a holiday in northern Spain and it was ideally located for us to get the bus to the airport. We also could easily walk around to the seafront and the shops. The staff were very nice and accommodating (sorry I didn't catch their names!) and gave us the biggest room they had. I think it's a family business with the owner who spoke great English, and his mother who didn't speak English at all but made a delicious omelette for breakfast and I muddled along with my rusty french when attempting to pay for breakfast and the city tax! We could leave our luggage there after we checked out. They had a cute little dog!
The decor is definitely dated but it has charm! The hairdryer was a bit low power but did the job.

Ce n'est pas une rue bruillante mais l'insonorisation reste assez faible. Nous n'avons cependant pas entendu nos voisins de chambre, seulement les portes s'ouvrant et se fermant.
Le débit de l'eau du pommeau de la baignoire et beaucoup trop faible...
