Hotel Oazis Butuan

Comfortable beds and good location staff were amazing beautiful pool area great value for what we paid

The hotel was going through some renovations as it is a bit dated. The plumbing and bathroom fixtures in our room could do with some modern upgrades. We only stayed 2 nights but there were spiders and mosquitoes in our room. Overall it is a 2 star hotel.

The internet never really worked properly. I spoke with the front desk and he informed me that his internet was working.

What I didn’t like was my past trip and this one, the pool had to be shut down for a majority of my stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean as well as the rooms. I will definitely be staying here the next time I go to the Philippines.

My third stay at the hotel. Very satisfied.

The hotel is look good good people good service. I’m satisfied.

.

The room we had was nice. The pool was great. The lobby was hot. The roosters next to the building is too noisy making it hard to sleep.

The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The room was very big. The service was friendly and good.

Beautiful property, Nice pool, Staff is friendly, only dislike is i wish the water pressure could be better and the exterior could use more cleaning.

Very nice property, setback from the road quiet not a lot of barking dogs, or throwing roosters. Nice pool area, good breakfast.

Tv not working, low water pressure, no bidet

I enjoyed my stay here!

Breakfast was delicious and free. Wifi connection was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. For a one night stay it exceeded my expectations!

I made multiple calls just to clean my room. Housekeeping was slow, but overall the place was okay.

Front desk was challenging at first, but the issues were resolved. Get up early for buffet type breakfast. Pool enjoyable. Cloth, paper type slippers, no pool towels. No robes.

People are helpful

Great place. Owners are proudly Christian

Oasis Hotel in Butuan is just your average hotel with nothing really that shines. The staff are very helpful and are very willing to give you any assistance and the rooms are good with the only complaint being the cockroach which greeted us on entry and was quickly dispatched down the toilet. The air conditioning was good but noisy, as are all these wall type aircons, but it kept us cool. The beds were nice and comfy and tea/coffee facilities are provided but not the coffee/tea. We dined in at the restaurant and the food was good and tasty and mostly suited to the Filipino taste which was also the same with the free breakfast. The dining area was not air conditioned so was a bit uncomfortable but we asked for and got a fan which really improved the experience. The hotel is fairly old but has held up well and well worth the price of an overnight, or two, stay.

Food for Breakfast is not as good as expected.

First bad review I’ve ever left. First of all there was a 30 something dollar “service fee“ which brought the price of the room from 60 something dollars to up over $100 US. Which is a scam and I would have let it slide if it weren’t for the bad conditions at the Hotel it’self. I’ve stayed in other hotels in Butuan that were much cheaper and much nicer. This hotel had standing water in the shower. A large random unexplainable trip hazard going from the room into the bathroom. The water takes forever to get hot. For whatever reason the Wi-Fi just did not work. It allowed me to scroll through social media but it’s like it was so weak that you could not surf the Internet, which is strange I don’t understand why it was like that, but it was like that. Cable TV didn’t work. No phones to call the front desk. You have to use your own cell phone. If you have a US phone of course you’re not able to call the front desk. I was frustrated the whole time I was there. I don’t recommend this place especially not for the 30 something dollar “fee“ scam they hit you with. There’s another hotel called Almont Inland Resort right there in Butuan with much better food, nicer rooms, Wi-Fi that works better service cleaner and way cheaper.

The stay was adaquate......the breakfast had significant opportunity to improve. The hotel looked like it was barely surviving.

The room was filthy dirty. Not mopped or swept. Air quality was dusty and unclean. Food was limited and not cooked thoroughly. Bloody inside the chicken pieces. Much of the food on menu was not available. Lots of flies and birds in dining area. Front desk and dining staff was friendly and helpful.

Old and dirty, no in room phone always have to go to the front desk to ask what i need.

Narrative stated complementary transportation between airport and hotel, however my wife was charged an excessive fee. Don’t promise what you do not provide

Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights. But it's super...... it's not Shangri - La, but everything was great.... very friendly and helpful staff... clean hotel, everything you need. Very nice interior and exterior. The room with balcony is very nice and has everything. The only thing is that the fridge should be bigger and the shower head in the shower should be descaled... but these are small things... I have booked another week for December... !

I like the property. The only continuing issue is that the wifi connection seems to disconnect alot and the passcode given only lasts a while. It constantly states to many users.

Great view

Good place to stay

Pool and facilities under renovation. Expedia might want to point that out, as its FAQ saying it has a pool isn't updated. Wifi is fairly useless, which is unacceptable for this caliber hotel. They continue to charge full price. Notice their ratings dropping and the place was quite empty where other hotels are full. Get a clue owner.

Pool was closed and building renovations were made. We were in rooms next to the renovations and the smell of the paint and varnish was overwhelming. The fitness center could use more equipment

Staff are very helpful and friendly, but no hot water for the shower, the room was clean enough to be ok but i recommend they look into the mouldy silicone at base of shower and curtains to the windows are quite dusty

Great hotel with beautiful scenery & pool for family vacation.

The staff here is World class, like no other. A must stay, and at the desk Giana was fantastic at check out. I have been here multiple times and am extremely impressed with everything, especially the staff.

First the Wi-Fi is terrible. IF you stay connected it is so slow. But you don’t stay connected and constantly have to re-enter the code. The room was filthy and the staff unresponsive. The breakfast wasn’t good either. Nobody monitors the food so I had to make multiple requests for more food to be brought out. The bathrooms by the pool are disgusting and likely haven’t been cleaned for weeks. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work and neither did the safe. If you have bad knees be warned there are no elevators only stairs. The room was full of ants. The noise starts about 6 am in the hallway but staff does nothing to correct it. If there is a wedding they seem to forget about all the other guests. I would never stay here again.

Great service

THE GOOD ASPECTS OF THE OAZIS FOLLOW: Beautiful lobby and pool; Decent (by Filipino standards) buffet breakfast with excellent waiter service; Easy check in with service-oriented porter for luggage delivery. THE NOT SO GOOD FOLLOWS: Couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work even after consulting front desk and receiving new passwords and sign-in instructions; Executive room below average in amenities, Examples: very small refrigerator; no instant coffee or tea (this is always provided at most hotel rooms in Philippines); no microwave in Executive room (the most expensive room at the hotel); no safe to secure valuables; compared to the best room at a competitor hotel about 1.5 KM away, the room was much higher in price with far fewer amenities and space. If I return, I will not reserve the Executive room.

Staff were nice and helpful. I just had our sheets changed upon check in since I saw strands of hair on it.

Stayed for a week. Had to ask several times tonhave my room serviced. Only once did they change the sheets and tske out trash. That was on my last day.

Very poor housekeeping

Accessible in the center of Butuan City

As its pandemic, i went directly to take a bath, realising when i was doing shower that no towels were put inside our room. Good thing i was with somebody to do the errand. Bathroom sidings and floor untidy. Spider webs can be seen on ceiling. Room Floor untidy, not visible to the naked eye but can be seen on your foot when walking barefoot. Biggest hotel though in the area. Nice pool, and wide parking.

Staff not very helpful. The room was nice with good view of the pool.

The service was very good they are will to cater to your needs

Second time staying there and both rooms were both great for the price and always clean.

Great rooms, great staff, great service. Nothing negative to say; very pleasant surprise, recommend it without hesitation, will stay here again.

The staff were professional and polite. They were extremely helpful. Overall, the facility is very good. One thing to improve is the breakfast offerings.

Hotel is excellent, well presented is all ways , great security , pool facilities are good , staff friendly and responsive to the needs of guests, breakfast is not good for Philippes not good for western diets

Our rooms (a Deluxe and a Standard) were quite spacious and located on the ground floor, with easy walk to the restaurant and lovely pool area. The swimming pools were the best thing about this hotel. I brought in guests from another hotel to dine with us. They had great menu and coffee selection.

Phone system is terrible! Holes in walls between the air conditioner and the wall I requested reservations on certain room Number that didn’t happen Plus this hotel is charge happy about everything! Watch your wallet!

Modern, clean, convenient, nice pool and amenities. good parking

Big rooms and nice swimming pool. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

New clean but most of all quiet. Requested and received a room away from the elevator and function halls. The pool was closed by the staff about 10 pm I believe. Breakfast was a little bit lacking. Would loved to have seen an omelet station such as the one they have Almont Inland Hotel directly across the road.

I paid for a suite, not only did Oazis staff pull a fast one and rip off my mother and father in law, they put them in a regular room and didn't bother mentioning that they weren't getting the suite. My niece found that the suite was vacant. When I called them they didn't apologize and mention how dishonest they were. They tried to offer 500 peso or a free meal in return to which I declined. I called up Hotels.com to resolve it and now have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Can you believe a Filipino business ripping off another Filipino living in the same city? How could one sleep at night?

This is supposed to be a new hotel, stayed there for a few days and for the price, definitely not worth it. They don’t even have a chair in the room. The first room I was in was infested with ants, in he staff tried their best to clean it which didn’t help so they ended up moving me. The back of the building had garbage which you could see walking from your room to the restaurant. Food was ok. Won’t be going back.
