The rooms are a matchbox. Literally 12*12 felt like Alcatraz. They took maybe 2 days to come clean my room after requesting it.

Very convenient, The staff was very friendly .

Mandatory facility fee (47USD) that they sprang on me at the very end of my stay. No prior warning whatsoever. If I knew what the final cost would be, I would’ve booked a different hotel. Also for $100+ USD a night I would’ve expected a separate bathroom, instead the toilet and shower is in the exact same room as the bed, no additional doors or shower dome

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was an extremely disappointing experience. The staff at what I can only reluctantly call the reception desk were exceptionally unfriendly, arrogant, and disrespectful. I was staying there with my family, and we were all shocked by the way we were treated. The location was also terrible. The surrounding area felt extremely unsafe and was very dirty, with many homeless people and people openly affected by drug addiction. We met some young women from Germany who were staying at the hotel as well, and they told us they were equally shocked by the neighborhood. I was particularly disappointed because I had specifically searched on Booking.com for a hotel with parking. This hotel appeared in my search as offering free parking, which was one of the main reasons I chose it. When I raised the issue at reception, instead of receiving a professional explanation, a male staff member spoke to me in an extremely disrespectful manner and questioned whether I was mentally capable of understanding that there is no free parking in San Francisco. He then claimed that Booking.com was misleading its customers. Regardless of who was responsible for the incorrect information, speaking to a guest in such an insulting manner is completely unacceptable. Even something as simple as receiving the Wi-Fi password was unnecessarily difficult. What concerned me even more was the behavior of a security staff member toward my 18-year-old son. He stared at him repeatedly in a way that made my son feel extremely uncomfortable. My son eventually did not want to go to the lobby alone even to ask for the Wi-Fi password, and my sister-in-law had to accompany him. No guest, especially a young person, should be made to feel that uncomfortable in a hotel. The breakfast was also very disappointing and far below what we expected. My 66-year-old brother was particularly upset and overwhelmed by the disrespectful way the staff communicated with us.

Great fitness center. Very clean, well appointed rooms, which they called "cabins". Good, central location despite lots of derelicts in the neighborhood. Good continental breakfast options and good coffee.

The breakfast room was bizarre, way too small for a hotel that size, poorly lit, under-staffed, and poorly served. There was only one coffee machine for hundreds of people and it often had a line of 10 people waiting for coffee and/or was blocked, requiring someone to inform reception to come and un-block it. No one cleaned up after slobs who left crumbs and spills on the tables, so the neatniks had to clean up after the slobs as well as themselves. There were no pictograms to differentiate kinds of waste for the three different containers, with the predictable result that everyone put everything everywhere. This was the single worst part of the experience.

The property is located in the downtown area so easy to walk anywhere

La struttura si trova al centro di San Francisco, a pochissimi passi da una fermata dei trasporti locali MUNI e BART, compresa la linea diretta per l’aeroporto. È un edificio storico ristrutturato in maniera moderna. Personale cortese e gentile, check in self ma presente un operatore per qualsiasi domanda. La camera assegnata era una “Solo”, secondo me carinissima, dove nello stesso ambiente molto “urban e moderno” si trovano un letto comodissimo, lavandino, doccia, wc, tv, tavolino, e tutti i relativi comfort… per me ottimo! Unico neo, poco spazio per aprire la valigia. Consiglio, per le varie tipologie di camere, di guardare le piantine, per capire come sono disposti gli arredi! Nei commenti si parla molto della colazione: secondo me era onesta per iniziare velocemente la giornata, in quanto c’erano un paio di brioche (fresche) tra cui scegliere, yogurt, mele, un paio di merendine/barrette confezionate, cereali, marmellatine, latte, caffè e the.

Leggermente rumorosa, a volte si sentivano le persone nel corridoio, ma con un buon paio di tappi per le orecchie ci si riesce a isolare completamente.

È stata l’unica struttura che dopo un paio di ore dal check out ha rimborsato subito la cauzione. Ottima colazione per gli standard americani (ci sono i cornetti che vengono riforniti ogni volta che terminano), pulizia della camera ottima e personale gentile. Dimensione stanze. Colazione con poca varietà, spesso gli articoli erano terminati e ci voleva un po’ di tempo perché venissero riforniti. Per il numero di utenti una sola macchinetta erogatrice di bevande è troppo poco. Si genera coda . Meglio 2 punti di erogazione diversi per acqua calda rispetto a caffè? (proposta). Seppur la posizione sia centrale alle zone d’interesse, è problematica per uscire a cena passeggiando, causa le situazioni di disagio sociale.

The water station was exceptional, and the cleanliness of the facilities was genuinely next level. We had mixed expectations after reading some of the reviews, but honestly, I think this hotel has been grossly underrated. I would 100% recommend staying here and would happily return. The location is close to the Tenderloin, which I know can put some people off, but honestly, unless you’re expecting a Disney-princess-level experience, you’ll be absolutely fine. It really isn’t as bad as it’s sometimes made out to be, and there are hotel staff and security around the property throughout the day. If you’re expecting five-star standards, then you’ll need to book a hotel in that price range. But for the price we paid, I genuinely don’t think you’ll find much better. Great value, clean facilities and a surprisingly good experience overall.

La localisation: en voyageant avec des enfants, le quartier n’est pas du tout adapté. Avec des agents de sécurité dans l’hôtel et devant Le petit déjeuner: beaucoup trop insuffisant, sur les 3 jours il manquait toujours quelque chose. Pas de boissons chaudes pour les enfants, pas de jus de fruit. Des viennoiseries trop sucrées et les croissants étaient en rupture. Pas de parking et le personnel a l’accueil nous a mal dirigé vers un parking hors de prix. Heureusement que l’agent de sécurité a pu nous donner des conseils.

I was given the wrong size room without being told the hotel was overbooked or any mention of me being in a smaller room than I booked. I booked over 4 months in advance and was never informed beforehand they wouldn't be able to fulfill what I had paid for. Furthermore the hotel did not tell me at check-in about this and when I pointed out I was given the wrong room they were very dismissive and offered a rate adjustment or a cancellation of the remaining nights. The same day I confirmed their website was still allowing bookings for the larger room type which they were supposedly out of for the same days. Shady practices or shoddy practices at best. Definitely avoiding

The receptionist spoke to me as if I were an idiot because of my poor English. And there were no sanitary pads or tampons in the room.

È inoltre dotata di tutto il necessario: shampoo, bagnoschiuma, balsamo, phon, ferro da stiro. La colazione basica e solo dolce, ma con diverse opzioni a disposizione, ottimo il distributore di acqua calda e caffè da poter usare durante il giorno.

La varietà della colazione è migliorabile. Non avere una porta che separi il wc dal resto della stanza può creare qualche disagio.

Great location, reasonably priced, and clean. Rooms are very small, but I don't plan on spending a lot of time in my room when I'm visiting San Francisco.

It was Market st and 7th. Much better than few years ago, San Francisco's mayor did a good job, reducing homelessness. So, it's better than before but still homeless/drug addicts around.

The internet service was down for almost two days of our stay. Very SIMPLE breakfast. a bit of cereal, milk, no cheese. Don't expect a hotel breakfast at all!

Hotel is actually a glorified hostel.no bathrooms or showers in the rooms. Worse yet, no elevators! Girl at front desk was very difficult to reach, as you must call the front desk to get back into the hostel.and she suggests seemed to be elsewhere, sometimes waiting 10 to 15 minutes to get back inside!

L'hôtel est très propre, très bien équipé et le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un vrai plus.

Si la situation est pratique me quartier en revanche n'est pas fameux. Nous ne sommes pas attardés autour mais nous n'avons eu aucun problème.

Todo muy bien por 4 dias hasta que se fue el Internet todo un dia. Al preguntar cuándo llegaría me dijeron que no tenían idea, asi que pregunte si podía irme a otro lugar las dos últimas dos noches con reembolso. Me dijeron que si sin problema ya que era una falla de ellos. Pero al pedir mi reembolso llevo ya varios intentos y sólo le avientan la bolita a booking. Y los de booking también se lavan las manos...

Die Lage des Hotels, direkt neben Stationen von BART und Muni, ist gut. Etwas Abschreckend sind die vielen Obdachlosen und Drogenabhängigen in der Nachbarschaft. Tagsüber ist es sicher, jedoch haben wir im Dunkeln versucht, schnellstmöglich von den ÖPNV-Stationen ins Hotel zu gelangen.

Unsere Zimmer waren sehr klein, jedoch sauber. Es gibt keine geschlossene Abtrennung zu Dusche und WC, stattdessen lediglich ca. 2m hohe Trennwände, sodass Geräusche usw. aus dem Badbereich direkt ins Zimmer dringen. Der Mitarbeiter am Eingang, welchen man nicht Empfang nennen kann, da es einen Self-checkin gibt, war desinteressiert und saß in einer Ecke. Fragen wurden mit möglichst kurzen Antworten beantwortet. Das Frühstück bestand aus wenig schmackhaften Croissants und einem süßen Gebäck sowie Äpfeln und abgepackten Müsliriegeln. Es gab Kaffee und heißes Teewasser, Säfte oder Trinkwasser wurden nicht angeboten. Ein Fahrstuhl war während unseres dreitägigen Aufenthalts die ganze Zeit defekt, der zweite fiel am letzten Tag aus (wenig hilfreich wenn man mit 4 Kindern in der 9. Etage wohnt). Ein Hinweis auf den dritten Fahrstuhl, den wir durch Zufall am anderen Ende des Gebäudes entdeckt haben, erhielten wir von dem Mitarbeiter nicht. Als jemand, der beruflich sehr viel global reist, ist es mir unverständlich, wie dieses Hotel 4 Sterne erhalten kann.

The Location was great and with breakfast, the lounge was great as well, the location is very easy to go with, public transportation was just in front of the hotel and most of all it seems the location was safe to stay compared to Europa Hotel, please do not attemt to stay there its sketch neighborhood and the place is filty and smells weeds inside the building, we did not even last for 20 mins and needed to cancel our booking

the room was so cramped and small for three person, the place was great and clean but the bed configurations and the size of the room is so small to move arround even for two person

The room was so unique and fun! We loved the feeling of the hotel and the unique qualities. The lobby was also modern and fun but in a noticeably historic building.

Our huge issue with this property was the lack of parking available on site. We had to park a few blocks away and walk. We walk all the time, this was not a problem. The neighborhood was not safe to walk with two young girls and myself. There were people blowing smoking weed and blowing the smoke intentionally at my daughters. One man also took his pants off right in front of my 9 year old. She said "everything was ok until I saw the Butt!"

Room was well appointed with good quality furnishings, the fold up bed was good, and plenty of power outlets. View was great down towards the Civic Centre. Breakfast was included. Location, location, location. It is SO central. The train is 1 minute walk away, the beautiful Civic Centre is over the road. I spent a lot of time at conferences in the Moscone Centre and it is a short scooter ride or a pleasant walk away. Ubers can drop you off almost at the front door and the people were really friendly. Great to hear so many different languages in one place during breakfast - and especially the excitement with World Cup matches happening around the USA.

The room was good, but very tight. I stayed for a week and felt locked in a little and I was just me. It would have OK for 1 , 2 or maybe 3 nights, but it would have been tough with 2 people. Breakfast was light and very sugar/carb heavy and very much a need to get in early or you miss out. One lift was not working when I arrived, and the following day the other lift broke down so I had to use the stairs from LEvel 9 and this proved tough and changed what I did in the day.

I had a great stay at YOTEL San Francisco. It’s clear that the hotel is well managed, and I’d especially like to recognize the General Manager, Paige. Her leadership is reflected in the overall guest experience, and it didn’t go unnoticed. The rooms are clean, modern, and have all the basics you need. They’re not huge rooms where you’re going to throw a party, but that’s not the point. If you’re in town and just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep, this hotel is a great option. The location is another big plus. It’s directly across the street from the Civic Center BART station, making it easy to get around San Francisco without a car. You’re also close to plenty of restaurants, attractions, and everything the city has to offer. If you’re looking for a clean, convenient place to stay with easy access to the city, I’d definitely recommend YOTEL.

Location is great for seeing shows at the Orpheum Theatre. Easy to find but make sure to check the area for parking if you’re driving as there is not a dedicated parking lot. The civic center area does have a lot of homeless individuals so be cautious and don’t travel alone at night - otherwise they didn’t bother me during the day. Close to public transportation. The room was clean and while small in size the space was well utilized. The smart bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The heated towel racks were a nice touch. I would definitely stay at this location again if I was doing stuff in the area.

I really can’t wait to come back the agent named mark was one of the most kind and patient person I ever met customer service was excellent I really enjoyed my time here and definitely staying here again when I come back to stay

Loved the room and facilities. My airline lost my luggage and the staff were very helpful with checking me in late, providing me with some essential toiletries, and receiving my bag from a courier the next day. The room is small but very well thought out. I will definitely stay here again.

Would have loved a small fridge in the room. The location is good in terms of public transit, but it was pretty loud at night. This neighborhood is a little bit rough, so be prepared for that.

I’ve been visiting here once a week for the past four weeks, and I have to say they are simply the best! I highly recommend this place. A special thank you to Mark at the reception for being so excellent.

Hotel room was grande! Staff who assisted me did not seem well trained at all. What annoyed me was hidden fees! $75 deposit per night! Fees I was never told about. Stayed there 3 nights,so am extra $225 I my total. Plus, I had to wait for 4 days to get deposit refunded! Was told online we could check in early. Checkin is normally 3pm. Also, another hidden fee, there was an extra $50 for really Checkin! Which we were Newberg told about! So they got us for an extra $3 00 on hidden fees!

Hotel was wag right across the street from literally 100 or more homeless who loved to party, shoot up and smoke out ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Sidewalk was there bathroom. We had a magnificent view of all this from our hotel room. 🤬😫

We stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was an amazing experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. We had a small issue during our visit, but Mark handled it promptly and professionally. His kindness, dedication, and genuine care for his guests really stood out and made us feel well looked after. A special thank you also to the housekeeping team and to the houseman, John, for their hard work and attention to detail. We would be delighted to stay here again!

My first Yotel experience and it will not be my last. It was clean and nicely appointed. The building was beautiful and right across the street from a bart stop. Check in was super easy and we stored our bags at checkout due to a later flight. The pricing was great as well.

Nothing, it was one of the best stays I’ve had in a while.

It was the perfect location for the event we were attending. It was very accomendating putting us on the same floor as the other party of friends that we were with. Very clean they threw a great party on Sunday with music and food.

The receptionist was very blunt and rude. The security of the hotel did not look like they would be able to do anything if there was a security issue. The area is full of drug addicts and homeless makes it scary to enter and leave the property. I think better security stood on the outside as well as inside would make me feel safer. Out of the windows you can see 10s of homeless people. People were playing music really loud in the rooms near me till late at night when I had an early flight. I tried to call reception and the phone in the room would not dial.

A great place and location—it’s super clean and the staff is nice.

I would have given this place a 10, but, the 2 times I’ve stayed here, the ice machine does not work—at least the one in the 4th floor. I thought it was out and making more, but I tried at 4am—and still no ice.

I log the lighting it was the best part and the showers was amazing.

You dont feel safe due to neighborhood - The room was so small. I couldnt open my luggage. The breakfast is not satisfied. (Classic American Breakfast) There is no lock for bathroom or toilett in the rooms because of glasss design doors.
