The room The rest has gotten very bad

Smoking everywhere. Could not play cards without smoke being blown into your face. Same on slots. Same just walking anywhere on casino floor

Atmosphere

Not a totally smoke free casino. The non smoking area could use more slot machines for that area to accommodate people that do not smoke. You can still inhale the smoke due to area or space is wide open. Otherwise I give it thumbs up!!

Room was sparking clean & tastefully furnished. Nice view of the bridge & surrounding countryside. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff.

Carpark was dirty. They need to go around it with a high pressure water cleaner. Restaurants/bars in the building are ridiculously overpriced. We ended up walking down the road to the local Mexican , which was actually very good. Restrictive pool hours ( 10am to 8pm ) do not suit if you are only staying overnight.

They charge a hundred dollar fee claiming u get it back when you leave and they dont refund it also when I got to the room the toilet wasn't working properly and it took them several hrs to get a maintenance person to come fix it

The Scarlet Pearl is by far 1 of the nicest places to stay. The rooms were immaculate & very luxurious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had fantastic water flow.. The staff were all very friendly. The security is something to get used to having to show your ID whenever using the elevator, but you definitely feel safe. Also we ate at the Vietnamese cafe in the casino and it was fantastic.

This hotel is remarkable. I highly recommend it!!

Breakfast was good. Please is nice. Under the Oaks could stay open a little later.

My non-smoking room was definitely not non-smoking. When l walk in it had a smell of smoke ,but I said to myself it was my imagination, we left and went eat. When we got back I said not this room I not non-smoking but I didn't complain or ask for a new room we had all unpacked even our CPAP. When I woke up the next morning took off my CPAP and I could tell it definitely was not a non-smoking room.

My room was very nice. I had a corner king size suite. Emmy was very nice and informative!!!

I dislike having to add guest to my room. It’s so inconvenient to stand in line with one person checking everyone in just to add a visitor to my room.

The pool was dirty. There was dirt and sand in the bottom of the pool. There was also a foul shrimp smell nearby.

If you are not a VIP person, PLEASE DO NOT stay at this hotel. I was treated as if I was not as important as the VIP people that walked in. As I was standing in line, the hotel registration clerk completely looked over me and asked for the next VIP person as if I was not standing there. Keep in mind this is my first time time at this hotel and she did not explain anything to me until she saw my frustration.

I love the security guard checking your ID before letting you get on the elevators! Made me feel very secure considering I was traveling alone

The staff were polite but some almost in a condescending way. I couldn’t understand the Filipino staff due to how loud it was from the self playing piano and slot machines. We called in advance for check in at 2pm and were assured it shouldn’t be an issue, but arrived and no rooms were ready. We got prechecked in and were assured it wouldn’t take too long: we didn’t check in until 3:45pm. The kiosks didn’t work (tried for 45 min) when we tried our player cards for free play so we waited until the next morning, then the staff scoffed saying it was too late to redeem the points and I should have redeemed them the night prior or within 12 hrs. They did mention the free play could be loaded again, but only by the manager, which was fine but by that point I was ready to go.

We were traveling across the country and came upon this Hotel/Casino so we stayed for the night. Security and staff were awesome! It was a pleasant stay.

Location and the lack of good coffee bars.

Too cold and the fact that there’s no house keeping daily and you have to ask for everything you need. With the money you pay to stay there, you shouldn’t have just (2) bottles of water in your room!!

We have stayed there several times and everthing was as previous visits. However we were asked to vacate the property after 1st night. One of our dogs showed aggressive behavior toward another small dog. I believe she thought it was a cat.

I dont feel as if we should have had to vacate. I believe that your hotel is large enough that we could have kept distance from each other. She has not ever showed aggressive behavior before. We have never had any prior complaints against us. No actual physical attack or harm took place just barking and lunging toward the other dog.

The pool area was bland and boring. It was located near the front of the hotel and lacked shade and a bar. Security at the elevators was unanimously annoying to the people in oroup. They were all courteous but having to stop and show an ID / drivers license every time just rubbed us wrong....especially when you could often go to the ground floor below the lobby and walk right in.

I want to begin by saying OMG!!! The Scarlet Pearl Hotel is AMAZING from check in to check out. The hotel decor is BEAUTIFUL and is very very clean every square foot, the lobby, hallways, rooms with very very comfortable beds and bathroom is so big and it makes you feel you’re in exquisite spa facility, the comfy chair stool and makeup mirror in bathroom was on point! My family and I over the years have stayed at many many hotels on vacation but, none of the hotels has come close to our experience at The Scarlet Pearl. Our room had a partial ocean view just breath taking, and the motorized blinds in the room was a very fancy touch. We came to Biloxi to bring our daughter that turned 21 in June to the casino for her 1st time. I am super excited I chose this hotel, she was able to have an out of this world 1st time experience and a super wonderful memory. When we pulled up to hotel’s check in entrance, the bellman came out with luggage cart and unloaded our luggage from trunk and put luggage onto cart as I went to front desk to check in. Front desk receptionist was so very nice and pleasant professional informing me where everything was in hotel and we all received $20 to use in casino. When we were done checking in bellman said right this way,he proceeded to the elevator to our breath taking so spacious room . He showed us closet that had the iron and ironing board in it with the motion light that popped on when you opened the door, then he demonstrated how to use the motorized blinds he opened them and we looked out unto a beautiful partial view of the ocean, he then unloaded our luggage from cart, he was very nice and professional and did a marvelous job. I called guest service twice during our stay and the guest service operator was so sweet each time and she asked did I need anything else after I requested face towels and coffee creamer then again for toilet paper, they came with items both times in less than 2 minutes .We Loved everything!!!’!!!!

We didn’t like not winning at casino lol but, my daughter broke even and she was the reason we were there so. That was a win for us that she didn’t loose any money.

The rooms and hotel have brilliant facilities. All the staff we met in the restaurants, casino, cafe and security were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are amazingly clean

Property was beautiful, very clean and the staff was great. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food was great at the restaurants. Large very clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Great location, great security for the hotel elevators.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. It just took us a couple of trips in the elevator to get used to having our ID ready and our room card ready for the elevator.

The pillows are impossible to find any comfort. Softer pillows are needed!
