the room was beautiful....spacious bedroom with a closet for hanging clothes. bathroom off the bedroom. free breakfast included between 7-9 in the common room. home cooked full scotish breakfast, plus a buffet with cereal, fruit etc. located on main street walking distance to stores restaurants. Evelyn and Charlie were great hosts always willing to help in any way. We would definately recommend this house.

can`t think of anything....maybe if you have mobility issues it might not be good because bedroooms are up a flight of stairs.

Very conveniently located for the university, and Evelyn and Chris were excellent hosts. The bed was comfortable and I had no problems sleeping.

Great and convenient location with a direct bus to and from the airport and the city centre right outside. The breakfast options are fantastic and the room is clean and cosy. Evelyn and Charlie are lovely, and I felt very well looked after!

L’emplacement était top, à côté d’un arrêt de bus, mais nous avons tout fait à pied (30 min du vieux Aberdeen). La chambre était très bien, et tout était propre Énorme coup de cœur pour les propriétaires et leur accueil, leur petit déjeuner était excellent et ils vous demandent directement si vous avez des envies/regimes particuliers.

Le lit grinçait beaucoup lorsque nous nous retournions pendant la nuit

The hosts were so friendly and were very communicative. They checked in with us when our arrival time changed just to make sure we were still coming. The breakfast was fantastic. We loved our stay here!

Delightful guest house in Aberdeen, whose hosts Evelyn and Charlie contributed towards a wonderful four day visit. The guest house is in a perfect location, within walking distance of the places I wanted to visit, including Old Aberdeen and the city centre. My room was very comfortable, with very clean facilities and there was a lovely choice of breakfast every morning. The hosts were very facilitating of food requests and also went out of their way to provide me with breakfast on two mornings when I had to leave early. All in all, I had a fantastic time in Aberdeen, revisiting a city I love and made all the better thanks to Evelyn and Charlie!

Evelyn and Charlie were super people, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Ideally located for me personally, and an absolutely fantastic breakfast.

The bin in my room hadn't been emptied upon arrival, (see pic), and the mattresses are just about due for renewal, I stayed in the triple room, (3 single beds) and none were satisfactorily comfortable, I laid on all 3 and chose the one which was least uncomfortable for me, (Goldilocks springs to mind🤣). Other than that which I'm sure will now be rectified, a fantastic place to stay, I scored Arkaig Guest House 9/10, but would have been a straight 10 had the beds been comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Stanza molto pulita e colazione fantastica. I due proprietari sono davvero molto accoglienti e ti preparano una colazione davvero eccellente per qualità e quantità. Se ripasseremo da Aberdeen sicuramente torneremo qui.

The only thing was that I had to park my car about 300 meters from the house.

The staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was lean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, a wide range of choice and accommodated any food allergies which was great.

The room was a little smaller than I thought it would have been and the ensuite was quite challenging in terms of space but manageable to a point for length of the stay.

I had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and everyone was welcoming and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you for making my stay in Aberdeen so enjoyable!

Evelyne & Charles sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Ich fühlte mich sehr willkommen. Der Parkplatz ist hinter dem Haus. Für das Frühstück gibt es ein Buffet. Für den Weg nach Inverness habe ich sie um Rat gefragt und der vorgeschlagene Weg war traumhaft! Vielen Dank für diese Route!

The shower was difficult to regulate and shower head placed too close to the wall so difficult to get under the water

Heerlijk, uitgebreid schots ontbijt. Gezellig ingerichte B&B. Vriendelijke hosts. Grote collectie (reis)boeken waar we nog wat inspiratie uit haalden voor onze roadtrip. Auto makkelijk te parkeren in de straat om de hoek. Het centrum is op loopafstand (half uur), maar er is ook een bushalte voor de deur.

Friendly and helpful hosts, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I was able to use the microwave and plates etc and fridge for my evening meals. Very close to the University "old town' area and buses just outside the door.

Charlie and Evelyn made us feel at home and we're extremely helpful, we arrived wet on our motorcycles and allowed us to park them in their garage and dried our very wet waterproof clothing for us ready for use the next day. The room , breakfast and advice on where to go was 2nd to none. Will always try to stop here in future as my 1st choice.

Charlie and Evelyn are very friendly hosts- and have thought of details to provide for the comfort of guests. Breakfast options were exceptional! Loved that there was free parking!

Could have been cleaner- dusty in some places, and there was a water bottle from previous guests under my bed. But the place was clean where important- bathroom was sparking!

The breakfast was great. It is a bit outside the city centre but not too far. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. If I am ever back in Aberdeen I will definitely stay again.

Das Frühstück war sehr toll, es gab Schottisches Frühstück und Kontinental zum gleichen Preis. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt! Die Verkehrsanbindung war super, der Bus hielt direkt vor der Tür. Eine tolle Unterkunft!!

Evelyn et Charlie sont très très gentils et accueillants, ils sont de bons conseils et aussi très arrangeants. Le petit déjeuner était un délice. Les chambres sont calmes, très propres et bien agencées. Les lits sont confortables, nous avons super bien dormi :) L’emplacement est idéal car c’est à 15/20 mn maximum en bus direct depuis l’aéroport, la station de train ou le centre, c’est au milieu de tout avec un arrêt de bus en face qui vous amène directement partout. C’est aussi accessible à pieds très facilement des principaux sites. Nous recommandons +++ pour visiter Aberdeen et sa région (mention spéciale au village de Stonehaven et Dunottar Castle, à 20mn en train).

Superb hosts, couldn’t do enough for us

I genuinely had a lovely time at Arkaig guest house. The hosts were lovely, and the hospitality was amazing. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, which was lovely. I had a lovely breakfast, which had a great variety of options to choose from. The B&B was in a great location, too, as I had good access to many great tourist attractions in Aberdeen. It would be lovely to stay here again when I visit.

Gospodarze byli bardzo pomocni i troskliwi, na bieżąco rozwiązywali wszystkie zaistniałe problemy, reagowali na prośby. W obiekcie serwowane jest pyszne duże śniadanie. Pobyt przebiegał w miłej atmosferze, można było się poczuć jak w domu.

Nie było oczywiste jak uruchomić prysznic, na szczęście Evelyn szybko zareagowała na telefon i wszystko wyjaśniła.

Came to stay for just one night but I’d definitely come back! Evelyn and Charlie were really friendly and made me feel welcome. Got a free room upgrade which I can’t complain about. The beds were comfortable and warm, and the room itself had everything you needed. The cooked breakfast was among the best I’ve ever had! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Aberdeen, the service I got far exceeded the price I paid for it!
