Had a really positive stay at Hyatt House, its my 2nd time back here! Special thank you to Max 刘星权 for going above and beyond. We did have a small inconvenience with the laundry—unlike some hotels where it’s complimentary, we had to pay coins to use the machines, and unfortunately the dryer didn’t work. After spending hours trying to sort it out late at night, Max stepped in to help us resolve the issue, which made a huge difference and allowed us to finally get some rest. Really appreciate the support and thoughtfulness—thank you again!

チェックインの時デポジットで中国元4,000をするように言われてしました。 宿泊費の合計が中国元2,796.07なので多すぎると思います。 差額はペイバックしてもらえるのか確認しましたが、何時ペイバックするのか回答がなく不安になります。

Location was great, it's just a 10 min walk to the Hongqiao railway station with access to the metro and high speed trains and is accessible via a footbridge. Its also close to the expo center. The hotel has self service laundry on the 2nd floor for just 30 Chinese Yen, you can wash and dry a full load. I had the breakfast buffet which was great, a lot of variety with both Western and Chinese food. They also have an on-site restaurant that serves lunch and dinner with decent variety including vegetarian options.

The menu for room service is limited and I thought the portion sizes were small. I also had trouble communicating what I wanted because of the language barrier but was finally able to get my order in.

Spaziosità dell’appartamento (era un Hyatt House). Qualità dell’arredo. Organizzazione del layout. Panorama dalla stanza. L’enorme superficie vetrata verso l’esterno. Vicinanza ai Mall, con molta scelta per quanto riguarda cibo e shopping.

La colazione aveva pochissima scelta sulla parte dolce (mancavano per esempio le confetture). Raggiungere l’hotel dalla stazione di Hongqiao è stato lungo e complicato, perché il passaggio sopraelevato pedonale risultava essere totalmente chiuso (non è comunque colpa dell’hotel.

1st choice accommodation in Shanghai. The staffs and managements are friendly, The food there are fresh and delicious.

Very comfortable and well-maintained room, good pool, great daily cleaning and room service staff is very prompt in delivering items. Daily breakfast spread was good with reasonable varieties. Location is a little far from city but the hotel is walkable to train station and line 2 is convenient to get to places.

If the location is abit closer to the train station (e.g. lesser walking) and to the city (lesser travelling time), that will be great but this can't be changed. The comfort of the hotel makes up for it. Hotel staff is friendly and easy to communicate with (in Chinese).

Hyatt House Hongqiao is perfectly located near Hongqiao Hub which has abundant shopping and restaurant options. importantly, Hyatt House is within walking distance of the NECC Exhibition Centre as well as the Hongqiao Railway Station. The staff at Hyatt House is friendly and helpful, and helped to make my stay an enjoyable one.

Large room. The hotel is right next to the main train station of Shanghai, which is helpful if you need to catch an early morning train as I did.

I wasn’t sure if I asked for a non-smoke room. But I felt I could smell a little bit smoke in my room.

The wifi service was very bad. This was the only problem.

We stayed for one night and had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and modern. The stuff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent! Walking distance to the railway station. Will definitely stay again next time! Thank you.

The air conditioning in the room was not cooling the room , so I called reception who sent an engineer to check but as he could not fix it they sent me a fan ! in the morning when I complained to the manager he very simply told me as the room was on the front part of the hotel so due to the sun it’s not possible to cool the room ! If that’s so Then it’s only fair they should at least inform the guests about it at the time of check in . I had paid extra for this room , it’s the minimum that is expected from a hotel with the Hyatt name .

Room was really beautiful, like in the pictures, breakfast is really nice. unfortunately the pool was closed in the second half. with a very short notice (on the day it closed) so i didnt have the chance to visit it. Dinner could be brought to the same level as breakfast and it could be made easier to buy the groceries for foreigners (without chinese tel.nr.) that was kind of tricky. other than that it was perfect

The staff was very helpful and changed my room where I can be comfortable (air circulation and 21 C)

My original room was heater only and the room can’t go lower than 25C and only get hotter. Room has no window to open. If I turn off the hvac there is no air movement and it’s just too hot

Very nice luxury hotel for an affordable price. I just wish they had more vegetarian options at breakfast. Other than that, excellent.

The bed was great, the room was excellent, very quiet.The breakfast was excellent. The concierge was helpful. Caught Didi to the French concession, and the trip to the Pudong airport was very smooth via the tollway. Had a small gym, but sufficient for our needs. The CBD was close by, and good shopping nearby. Would return if given the opportunity.

Convenient and good for a short stay. Since it was a short stay, I did not have many strong impressions, but there is one issue that stood out. The room had a noticeable smoke odor, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Although the room was labeled as non-smoking, I understand that in China it can be difficult to avoid guests smoking in their hotel rooms. I believe better management of non-smoking rooms would enhance the quality of accommodation.

I travelled to a few cities in China in this week and it happend all hotels booked are Hyatt. Surprisingly, in this mega city of Shanghai, this is the worst Hyatt hotel I ever stayed. The service is like 2- or 3-star hotel though the amenities is slightly better. Like what other have commented, you don't feel the warm service at the front desk, breakfast cafe, and elsewhere. Something seriously wrong with the training of this particular Hyatt hotel, as the rest I ever vhecked in really served as 5-star hotel. I remembered the front desk serviceman named Carson was so cold that I felt like checking into a detention centre as he kept scrutinising my passport. When he handed over the room card together with a pack of toothbrush kit, I was really stunt and not sure whether to return that pack to him.

The room is very clean. The breakfast is excellent with so many choices. The location is super convenient, only 10 minutes walk to train station. Highly recommended!

It is within walking distance to Shanghai Airport but all six of us couldn't navigate our way there. Wasted two hours and ended up getting a Taxi. Just get the taxi it is only about $5 aud

This place is near to Necc expo and next is lawsons kfc Starbucks McDonald and two big malls The Hub and Paradise walk where we can get everything from food to car
