Young, sharp and very experienced staff handling everything- very safe!
I booked a car to Pudong airport for coming back to US the staff helped me well equipped with traveling knowledge and detail- experience!
I found this hotel by looking for the best location and it surprised me with quality food, best value and respectful employees!
I only wish I found this hotel by traveling websites.
部屋は清潔で設備も充分、眺めも良くとても快適でした。
ホテルのせいではないですが、Google mapの座標が実際の場所と異なっており、地下街を1時間近く迷いました。
これには本当に困りました。

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026I chose to stay here because of the proximity to Hongqiao train station; it is only a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is modern but basic; decent gym, indoor swimming pool, and an OK buffet breakfast. As far as I could tell there were no dining options in the evening, but there is a large shopping centre a couple of blocks away with loads of restaurants. Convenience trumps quality on this occasion.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2026very decent hotel at a very friendly price point. The location is excellent, walking distance to the speed train station and hong qiao airport. There're a few very big shopping malls within the 1 mile diameter. You can eat, shop and relax without going too far.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026We recently spent a delightful three days and two nights at the Hyatt Place Shanghai Hongqiao CBD. Traveling as a large family of four adults and two children, we were incredibly impressed by the seamless and warm experience provided by the hotel staff.
From the moment we arrived, the front desk team demonstrated utmost professionalism. They were extremely skilled, possessed impressive multitasking abilities, and handled our check-in process swiftly and efficiently despite the busy environment. Throughout our entire stay, the service remained exceptionally responsive; anytime we had a request that required follow-up, the team resolved it with impressive speed.
A truly standout moment of our stay was the phenomenal hospitality we received from the Department Manager, Bryan Du (杜红良). We had just arrived from a long international flight, exhausted, and managing a massive amount of luggage. Bryan stepped in immediately, providing timely, proactive, and incredibly warm assistance. He not only ensured our check-in was completely stress-free but also took the time to patiently answer all of our various questions.
The exceptional care didn’t stop there. When it came time to check out, Bryan went above and beyond by personally helping us move all of our heavy luggage to the entrance. He then seamlessly coordinated the hotel’s business shuttle to drop our entire family off at the train station.
This level of seamless, "end-to-end" service truly proves that Hyatt holds the service bar incredibly high. It is exactly this kind of dedication that serves as a key differentiator for the brand.
We are deeply grateful to Bryan and the entire team at Hyatt Place Shanghai Hongqiao CBD for making our trip so memorable. We will undoubtedly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai!

朝食は､特別ということはないですが､普通に美味しかったです。
虹橋高鉄駅は，目の前に見えていて､歩いて約7分くらいですが，荷物が多い場合，タクシー利用をすると､かなり大まわりして行くので､10分くらい､25元くらいでした。
これくらいしか良くないことを書けないくらい､良いホテルです。

Our first room had a nice view of the city, but would not cool down from 26C or 78F. They were very accomodating and offered us another room with better A/C, but without a view.

Reviewed May 10, 2026Basically the hotel is a great choice for people that want to have a good and calming rest before a long flight or a high speed train adventure, as it is very close to the Hongquiao Subway Railway Station and to the Airport Terminals.
I need to underline that 12-15 minute of walk are needed to arrive to the hotel from the Shanghai Hongqiao metro station.
Breakfast is perfect for both Chinese & Internationals.
Difficult to find something after such a great stay. I would have preferred to have also available liquid hands soap and not only solid at the sink, as it is more convenient.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026Colazione varia e camere comode. Anche il ristorante era buono e il servizio cortese. Check in fatto in anticipo e Sean che ci ha accolti è stato molto cortese e disponibile anche al check out per chiamare un taxi.
Purtroppo le nostre camere si trovavano sotto la palestra e già alle 6:30 del mattino si sentivano molti rumori e tonfi causati dai pesi fatti cadere a terra. Questa cosa era molto fastidiosa se uno avesse voluto dormire più a lungo. Anche in tarda serata si sentivano spesso tonfi dovuti ai pesi.

Достаточный завтрак для поездки на несколько дней (за исключением отсутствия рыбы). Возможность самостоятельной стирки вещей - 2 доллара стирка и 2 доллара сушка.
Время работы бассейна 10.00-22.00 не удобно. Отсутствие сауны.

Staff were friendly and the hotel gym and pool were good too.
Breakfast was amazing with a great variety.
I found it good value.
I have travelled extensively around the world over the past 30 years, and in that time, I have very rarely said that I would never return to a hotel... but here I do.
The aircon in the room did not work, and I reported it. Perhaps someone looked at it but the end result was no change. Sleeping at 25.5 C in a room without windows that open, was unbearable.
I complained a second time and again, no change. All I got was a standing fan and more water bottles.
A colleague had the same issue in their room. Same outcome, except as an asthmatic, his chest tightened and both of us had blocked noses.It can't be healthy blowing warm air around a room with no windows.
So for this reason alone, it's a no from me for a return visit.
It was high quality - good food, friendly staff, excellent room. Close to railway station for morning train. Perfect stopover stay

Not the most interesting area of Shanghai, but convenient for Hongqiao Station and airport, with plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby shopping malls. The main problem was the air-conditioning, or lack of it. The temperature was centrally controlled by the hotel, so could not be adjusted. It reached 28°C outside during the day, and the room was extremely uncomfortable. They provided a fan, but could/would do nothing to allow us to change the room temperature. I don't need a hotel to choose which temperature is comfortable for me.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026This hotel is located on the “Honqiao Hub” with very easy walking access to Honqiao Airport, Train station, Subway station and also to the National Conventional Center. You can go walking to all of these places very easily. Very convenient location for people attending exhibitions at the NECC.

The reception was bad, the stuff behind the counter was not professional and I had to wait for almost an hour to finish check in after a long flight, it was a frustrating experience and a bad memory for me to spend a night in Hyatt place in Shanghai Hongqiao CBD.
The staff provided breakfast to take on the train. They were marvellous!
