-The rooms were clean, hotel was safe, and reception were polite and helpful. -The hotel is around the quiet area but I would come back again because this is a wonderful decision in Venice. The centre is crowded and loud. And you can even got to other areas by either walking or taking boats. -There are lovely restaurants around (15 min buy walking). -Instead of breakfast, we got pastries from nearby bakery (look for Majer). -There is a lovely small garden you can relax after a busy day and buy some gelato from hotel restaurant.

Location is great, very close to train station and grand canal. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and let us have an early check in. Very hospitable and friendly welcome. Warm reception, smells nice. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean with great amenities. The breakfast was a 10/10 experience. Loved our stay. Would definitely come back once we're back to Venice!!

The hotel is modern and very clean. It is ten minutes walk from the main train station. Close to many attractions. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help.

The hotel is relatively clean, new, and functional. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is convenient, as it is close to a train station and provides easy and direct access to the airport.

Our room on the first floor was extremely warm because the AC was not working properly. In addition, even with the windows closed, there was a significant amount of noise coming from the external AC units located directly underneath the room. There was also an incident during our stay where the maintenance team damaged the main door leading to the shared hallway of the two connecting rooms we had booked. Finally, after one of the room cleanings, the bathrooms developed a very strong and unpleasant smell, possibly coming either from the drainage system or from the cleaning products used. Overall, the hotel has several positive aspects, particularly its new facilities, functionality, friendly staff, and excellent location. However, the issues with the air conditioning, noise, and bathroom odor noticeably affected the quality of our stay.

Very clean and easy to get to from the station. The room was very comfortable with amenities you could pay for including a yoga mat and a stocked mini fridge.

駅から徒歩で10分かからないぐらいの好立地で、朝食やシャワーがよく、特にベットが最高で疲れがとれました。フランスからイタリアを周遊して最後、ベネチアに来ましたが1番良かったです。施設も新しく匂いもいい香りで、このホテルはおすすめです。

冷蔵庫があまり冷えなかったことくらいです。

The hotel is modern and in a great location down some side streets but close enough to the centre. Pros - AC works well, good amenities like hairdryer, robe, slippers etc. Cons - the shower is not that great. It's not powerful and a couple of times I used it, it wasn't very hot. The breakfast could be better. I was expecting better after reading the reviews before I came. The best thing about it was the juicer machine where you can make your own fresh juices.

ホテルの入口と、そこから数十メートル、変な香水の様な匂いが常にあり、不快だった。チェックインに朝訪れた時に、カウンターに水筒を置き忘れてて出かけてしまった。夕方戻ってきた時に受付担当者が変わっていて、確認したら無いと言われた。翌日、水筒を忘れた時に対応してくれた女性に再確認したら、「忘れ物置き場にあるはず」と言われて期待したが、結局見つからなかった。ホテルスタッフに盗まれた様に感じてしまい、信用できなくなった。他にも、早朝シャワーでお湯の温度が調整できなかった事や、スリッパが無かった事も、残念でした。

The location was excellent and very convenient. The hotel was extremely clean, and the lobby area was beautiful and stylish. The room was also clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The elevator was not working during our stay, which was inconvenient. Also, I think complimentary bottled water should be provided in the room every day. Unfortunately, this was not offered.

We really loved our stay at the Avani Rio Novo hotel in Venice for a week. First of all the location was amazing, right in the center of Venice , within walking distance to all important historical landmarks , next to the canals, lovely narrow streets and scenic bridges and with many restaurants, bars and cafes in the surrounding area. The hotel is modern , clean and the rooms very pleasant , quiet and comfortable. Everyday our room was being cleaned and towels replaced which was nice. The air conditioning worked really well keeping the room cool as the weather was particularly hot in the end of July. We really enjoyed the happy hour evenings organized three days in a row with complimentary food and a bar with drinks , beautiful music and a lovely atmosphere. The staff was friendly , helpful , very polite and professional. We would definitely return to this hotel and would like to recommend it if you’re planning a vacation in Venice or even for a business or other type of trip if you’d like to be in a fantastic location, it is great hotel for a reasonable price.

Fairly short walk from the station - much quieter area of venice with lovely open spaces. I did feel slightly nervous in some areas on the way but not the hotel’s fault! The hotel was my dream hotel - i personally love a hotel that makes you feel rich without the price, and for venice island in summer, the price was such a great value for money. There were free tea and coffee, a wide range of toiletries, a dressing gown and slippers (my personal selling point) as well as a ridiculously large bed which was so comfy, a lovely little clock and light, desk, Tv, I could literally go on. The staff at the desk were lovely and chatty, and were some of the most personable people we met on our 4 country/5 city trip. We paid for the breakfast and it was the best breakfast again that we had all trip with a fantastic variety, and my partner and i agreed the best quality food. The front garden was lovely, and their happy hour (though quite surprisingly!) was a great offering. They even had a gym! I genuinely wanted to spend as much time in the hotel as I could… moreso than actual venice..?!!!! Great end to the trip. I didn’t even mention how we got to venice early, and were able to check in 3 hours early - life saver!!!!!!!! Also the lighting was amazing. Only minor gripe was the aircon wasn’t as cold as we’d like it, but it was only minor!

We had a wonderful stay at Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel. The hotel is modern, stylish, and exceptionally clean. The location is excellent just a short walk from Piazzale Roma and the train station, making it very convenient while still being away from the busiest tourist areas. We could easily reach the main attractions on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, specially Alina. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options to choose from each morning. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay at Avani Rio Novo again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern, and well-located hotel in Venice!

Location was easy to get too, plenty of places to eat and drink near by, 5 minute walk from transport

The hotel is new and has attentive staff. The spacious rooms have excellent beds and pillows. The breakfast service is okay, but overall, I would highly recommend it.

Good location near Piazzale Roma, easy to find, and the AC works. Garden can get noisy with social events, though quiet on off days. Small room—okay for two petite travelers, tight for larger guests. Decent bathroom with wet/dry separation, but weak shower pressure.

Se non fosse un reato, la prossima volta che visiterò l'Avani Rio Nuovo porterei via i cuscini: sono davvero unici.

En General el Hotel, está bien ubicado desde el terminal de trenes, así que es posible caminar hasta el hotel sin problemas cruzando algunos puentes. El Hotel es muy práctico, habitaciones cómodas, tiene un buen desayuno y totalmente recomendable.

Zimmer: modern eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, Zimmer nicht überladen, man findet genug Platz für das Verstauen von Koffern und Schuhen. Kasten mit Safe, Kleiderbügeln und Laden für Shirts und Wäsche. Kaffee/Teebereitung möglich, kleiner Kühlschrank mit Getränken. Bad zweckmäßig - auch mit einer Ablage unter dem Waschbecken. Lage: gut gelegen - in der Nähe die Wasserbusstation, die Parkgarage Communale und auch Restaurants. Ist man gut zu Fuß, kann man zum Markusplatz gehen. Frühstück: Luft nach oben; wir waren jetzt das dritte Mal im Hotel - das Frühstücksbuffet ist immer kleiner geworden. Es ist aber ausreichend. Wer Alternativkost sucht, findet es hier nicht.

Frühstück: für Veganer beim kalten Büffet nichts vorhanden - kein veganer Aufstrich, keine Margarine, keine backed beans ... es gibt nur vegane Croissants und einen veganen Kuchen. Auch auf Anfrage keine Margarine möglich! Der Österreicher frühstückt in der Regel nicht unbedingt nur Süßes! Hier ist noch Handlungsbedarf!

An absolutely beautiful hotel. Outstandingly clean. Staff were lovely. They do a happy hour which is a drink including a great selection of food (aperitivo) with a live band which adds to the atmosphere.

Best breakfast

Excellent location

Location close to the bus stops / main transport hub, only about a 6 minute walk. The room was nice, good view. Breakfast was substantial. The walk to Rialto Bridge was about 20mins. I stayed 2 nights and used the proximity of the hotel as my primary reason for the stay. I did a day trip to the Dolomites and it was easy to get to the pick up point.

Hair in the toilet but wasn’t bad.

I like the location,cleanliness and politeness of the stuff.

The only negative point in my view was the loud music from DJ just outside the bar ,it was continuous till late and we couldn't rest because of the noise,I think it wasn't necessarily to have a loud music in this beautiful hotel.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und konnten bequem im Parkhaus San Marco parken, von wo aus das Hotel in nur etwa 8 Gehminuten erreichbar ist.

Wir haben uns in dem Zimmer aufgrund eines unangenehmen Geruchs nicht wohlgefühlt. Zudem funktionierte der Lift nur sehr langsam.

Spotless clean. Individual apartment and 2 mins walk from apartment but dragging big suitcase through gravel (only for 2 mins) to gate) was hard work. I wish the gate was easier sign posted even though just gave all possible signs and directions it was my fault I dragged suitcase all way to lock box whereas you can leave it by beginning of gravel and get key then enter. I checked in late so my fault. Actually 5* great place €1 to Venice centre bus station. Great location xx

A fantastic hotel in Venice! Its location is unbeatable—close to the bus station and requiring very few bridge crossings, which is a huge advantage when travelling with heavy suitcases. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

No complimentary water bottle in the room and at first they gave me double bed instead of twin bed. They nanaged to change my room.

Goed hotel met een zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke staf. 1 minpuntje anders hadden ze een top beoordeling gekregen en dat was de povere airco, we hebben zelfs een andere kamer gekregen na dat ik reclameerde maar toch was die ook niet toereikend om de kamer op een aangename temperatuur te houden.

The location is very good and everything in the hotel is new and nice, also the city view from my room was beautiful. Also I want to note wonderful breakfasts with huge choice of meals and cold prosecco. My days had an amazing start!

Unfortunately, my transfer from the airport was late and a porter service, which was promised me to help with a luggage, didn’t come at all.

Für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gutes Frühstück. Personal beim Frühstück sehr freundlich.

Betten eher so so lala. Und die Fenster sind extrem ringhörig, so dass man die halbe Nacht das Gejohle der Nachbarn anhören musste.

Melhor hotel que já estive na vida, fica mais afastado do Piazza San Marco, mas pra mim foi uma vantagem, San Paolo é mais tranquilo e tem de tudo e o Hotel é um absurdo de conforto

O restaurante não tem muitas opções para jantar, mas isso só é um problema para quem não quer sair do hotel, mas tem muitos restaurantes, bares e gelaterias bem proximos o que melhora a experiência em Veneza

I had to wait a few hours to check in because my room had to be cleaned but other guests came in a couple hours after me who had the same room type and they were immediately checked in. That isn't right to me.

Le prix des chambres est assez cher , d’autre part nous avions réservé une chambre du jardin et Booking huit jours avant m’a proposé une chambre avec vue sur le canal pour 15 € de plus par nuit, je l’ai accepté, mais qu’elle ne fut pas notre surprise lors de notre arrivée en fait, au lieu de voir le canal, nous avions vu sur un arbre et l’immeuble d’à côté. Ce n’est pas très honnête de la part de l’hôtel. Mais je pense qu’ils l’ont compris, c’est pourquoi ils ont fait un geste

The location was easy to any form of transportation. Easy walk to the arts district and water taxis. I don’t think you can find a quieter location in this modern of a hotel. Very convenient to Resturants at nearby plaza.
