Easily the best experienced I’ve had in my entire life. The Marriott by Clearwater beach was phenomenal, aside from the scenery the valet was exceptional. Riley was outstanding throughout my weekend, he was MORE than helpful. I would recommend this hotel and service to more than my family. Thank you guys so much and a special thanks to Riley for being such a gentleman and giving us a more than memorable experience!!!!

Our experience was excellent. The staff at the entrance, Felipe and Isabel, were very kind and patient with us. The breakfast was excellent as well. We are leaving very happy.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Great place to stay in Clearwater. Wish we’d done more than one night to make the most of the facilities. We stayed as a one night stay during our visit to Disney World. Hotel was very close to the beach / marina. Hotel staff very friendly. The queen suite was much bigger than expected, would be ideal for a short stay with the kitchen area too.

The bars nearby had music playing loudly until around 11pm, just something to bear in mind if you have younger children.

Great location, staff and amenities

I booked the hotel in February for 2 rooms on July 28, 2026. I arrived at the hotel on said date and there was only one room, despite messaging and requesting the rooms be close together. The staff noted the Hotel`s mistake and made the necessary corrections. I was very pleased at the time. I checked out and received 2 receipts for the rooms. I returned home and checked my credit card statement to find I was charged for 3 total rooms. Now I have to spend time getting this corrected. Very disappointing.

Got stuck in room directly over looking a local bar with live music every night until 2am. The music was so loud no one could sleep. I could hear it plain as day while in the shower. The front desk was rude when I asked about changing rooms they said they could only offer ear plugs. The room was dirty. Outlets next to the bed that didn't work. The fold out couch was unusable and covered in stains. Marriott could care less. The reply was basically too bad stay with us again.

Location, value, cleanliness, and staff all excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and Gloria at check-in was awesome! We had a great one BR ocean side suite and atmosphere was as expected for summer in a beach town. Only small concern was an off property restaurant/bar just below our window played loud live music until midnight every night. Maybe a little less loud and/or as late would be nice, but it is summer in a beach town. Thx - RCR

The location is very convenient—just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to downtown and local restaurants. The breakfast provided was decent.

The stove is quite small, and the exhaust fan was broken. Management never fixed it because they lacked a replacement in their inventory, which forced me to sleep with cooking fumes in the room since there was no window or balcony. Additionally, there are no USB-C charging ports. Since I only had a cable, I messaged management to ask for an adapter plug but received no reply. When I asked the front desk, they were unable to help and simply told me to go buy one at a nearby store. Room furniture needs an upgrade, specially the sofabed, it was not comfy and with rigid mattress

Lovely hotel with across the street access to the beach, wonderful balcony views. Breakfast buffet was top notch. Definitely stay here again!

The room was nice. Location was terrible as far as nighttime. If you book, make sure to ask to be as far away from Cocos Crush Bar as you can. The music is so loud and doesn’t stop until after midnight. You WILL NOT sleep. These rooms should be dirt cheap or at least give a warning.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary. This hotel was excellent . The location was perfect . Walking distance to everything. Very clean and bed was very comfortable The breakfast was great too ! The front desk staff Isabel and Felipe were fantastic!! So friendly and will do everything to make your stay great! This is not our first time at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Clearwater! It's actually our 4th time and not doubt it's not the last. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, well stocked (the kitchen) and just the perfect place to make you feel like you have all the comforts of home while being surrounded by beautiful Clearwater Beach! I don't write many reviews, but after 4 stays, I had a chance to meet an amazing member of the Marriott Team this time around! LISVETH ESTRADA is an absolute gem. Her kindness is genuine and sincere. Our family member has special needs and her entire goal during the trip was to make sure he felt special and valued. She personally greeted us when we arrived with her beautiful smile. She followed up on every request and ensured that each day was better than the next. Marriott...Lisveth is a major reason our family loves your hotel! We'll be back!

Felipe was excellent at the front desk!! The bartender on Thursday afternoon was great!! The food from Coastal was very good.

We had a wonderful stay at the SpringHill Suites in Clearwater! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to the front desk team Isabel, Felipe, and Rebecca. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. They answered our questions, offered great recommendations, and truly made our stay even more enjoyable with their outstanding customer service.

The Hotel was so close to all the beach attractions and within walking distance to the beach which was so handy.

The location was ideal! Short walk across the street to the beach. Surf Style shop right next door had all beach essentials! The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Isabel and Rebecca at the reception desk! The room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing, and quiet. Housekeeping did an exceptional job cleaning the room everyday and replacing towels! The complimentary breakfast was supreme! Waffle makers, cereals, muffins, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and so much more! The outdoor pool was relaxing and enjoyable and the pool area seating was so comfortable!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel from start to finish. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I especially want to recognize Yudelis from housekeeping for doing an outstanding job. My room was always spotless, organized, and welcoming after each cleaning. It's clear that Yudelis takes great pride in her work, and her attention to detail made a big difference in my overall experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. 5-Star We had a wonderful experience staying at the Marriott Hotel. From the moment we arrived, Jose, the AGM, was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. He took the time to find us a great room and explained everything thoroughly, making us feel truly welcome. Nice hotel and a good value. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at one of these breakfast free hotels. Special shout out to Astrid for her outstanding service. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds. The only. Complaint is when the air conditioning goes on it sounds like an airplane taking off.

The air conditioner is too noisy.

I like many other reviewers, booked a room that was supposed to be on the quiet side of the hotel. The website warns you the bar side is loud. I book directly with the hotel rather than a 3rd party so I expect to get what I pay for. I was put on floor 7 directly over the bar. The music is very loud until early morning hours. I did speak to the front desk person and was told they didnt know how that happened however they were over booked and could not change my room. I do believe after reading many other similar reviews that this is somewhat of a scam the hotel is running. There cant be that many mix ups with reservations. Other than that our stay was perfect. The room was clean, well stocked with shampoo, Conditioner and lotion. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are fantastic. We did not have any issues w slow elevators as I've read in other reviews. Location is perfect. 2 minute walk to the beach. Not sure I'd stay here again due to the fact I feel like they scammed me. I believe the room I paid for away from the bar side was more expensive than the room we actually got.

Terrible customer service and dirty room. Check-in: I was told the king 1 bedroom I booked months ago was full. I specifically booked this room type because I was told it was on the quieter bayside. Got stuck with a queen which was overlooking the bar/club outside which is crazy loud all night. We got moved to a studio for 1 night since it was more quiet. Moving rooms with a toddler and all of our stuff was a huge inconvenience but we were refunded $50 for the price difference of the room. Cleanliness: upon moving into our new king room the next day, my toddler found an open glass gallon bottle of vodka on the floor. Management comped our parking costs. The furniture in the room was filthy and stained. In need of deep cleaning. We have stayed in several Residence Inns, this was the worst experience. And not once did anyone apologize. Better off looking anywhere else.

Great hotel completely ruined by the bar next door. Blasting a concert till midnight, then DJ party after that. None of us could sleep. I went down to the front desk to ask for a different room, but none are available. If you want to be able to sleep at all, don’t stay here.

I went to the bar of the hotel to have a Cocktail Old Fashion and the barman didn't want to serve me in a proper glass, he told me only in plastic cup because apparently people go away with their glasses. I told him I will drink it at the bar but he told me no that they stop to serve with real glass cocktail which is ridiculous, especially inside the establishment. I ask him why so the wine is served with real glass and cocktail no but he was bit lost in what to answer to me. So I decided to take the cocktail in the bar next door where they served in real glasses. The breakfast was overcrowded, nobody to control and organize it. It was the worst breakfast I had and food was really tasteless.

We had a great experience staying at the Residence Inn in Clearwater Beach. The location was great, and the staff was superb. We were there during a very hectic time of year, and the workers were excellent. They were attentive, proactive and great to deal with. The room was in great shape, and we had a beautiful view of the bay from our balcony. The pool was very active, but the staff made it feel orderly and under control. We also had very nice experiences with the looby bar, the breakfast, as well as the fitness center. All were in great shape and super useful. For a vacation in Clearwater Beach, I would recommend this hotel as a solid and more affordable option than some of other oceanfront options that may be twice as expensive for a stay.

The hotel was clean, and the valet staff were excellent. However, if you have an oceanfront room, don’t expect to fall asleep before midnight. A live band at Coco’s plays directly outside the windows, and the noise is extremely loud. This is something the hotel should clearly disclose on their website during booking. Had we known, we would have chosen a different hotel. We ended up lying in bed with pillows over our ears, struggling to fall asleep. Overall, it made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

The best service I’ve had in a long time. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect! Loved the breakfast and the band at the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I traveled here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience! The hotel was very nice and clean. It is very close to the beach and shops, all were within a block of the hotel. There is multiple beautiful waterfront views and a nice big pool overlooking the water. The valet was amazing, Brian the manager who greeted us and checked us in was so helpful, he also gave us ideas for a great anniversary dinner. We will definitely be back!

Went to the Hotel for a cute valentine’s. Laila was my valet, very lovely and kept things professional yet friendly with us, she helped with any questions we had about the area in clearwater beach and she was very detailed. The hotel itself is so clean and everyone was so great and nice here! The starbucks connected to it was also filled with nice and lovely people, they took our orders and swiftly made our drinks and helped us with any questions we had! Michael was especially great for his service!

We have stayed at the adjoining Springhill Suites and enjoyed our stay this time to the Residence Inn. The same facilities and breakfast just a different room standard. The Residence Inn suite was really good. A very comfortable bed with a kitchen and seating area very tastefully decorated with a layout that really works. Lots of charge points and all you would need for a short stay kitchen area. We visited for a concert at the Capitol Theatre across the causeway. An easy Uber or Suncoast Trolley away. Breakfast with a large sports team contingent was pretty crazy but honestly we should have just gone earlier. An excellent range of hot and cold buffet items, really good scrambled eggs. Plenty of seating but this can still get overwhelmed after 8am I would estimate at weekends. In summary, a first class choice steps from Clearwater Beach. Would return without hesitation.

Just got home from our vacation and i could say that this place was a pleasant experience! Just a few steps away from the beach. The hotel staff was friendly and we decided to valet our car and our first impression arriving was amazing! Especially Eric in valet. He was so kind and made our process so much easier with our parking. Will definitely be coming back again!

My wife and I had an amazing time celebrating our 19th anniversary during our two-night stay. The hotel is beautiful and excellently located. Upon entering, you can see and smell the freshness of a clean hotel, giving it a genuine 5-star feel. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious and generous. Our room was spacious, clean, and perfect for any occasion. I would also like to express my gratitude to the two ladies at the front desk, Nancy and Isabel. They provided exceptional service, making us feel comfortable and welcome with their pleasant smiles. They listened to our needs and explained all the hotel benefits, as well as recommended places to eat. Their attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. My wife and I applauded their efforts and definitely plan to return because we felt like we were treated like celebrities. Additionally, I would like to thank Jose, the manager, who was incredibly nice, helpful, and professional.

Location was excellent. Staff was awesome. Especially Erica from food services. She had such a great attitude, always laughing and smiling. A great way to start your day just by being greeted by her. Everyone that worked there was so positive and very helpful. It definitely made the stay there more enjoyable.

The cost of the parking. When we made reservations we only found that there was parking. There was no clear communication that parking was almost $40 per day. No discount or anything for guests after what you pay to stay there per night. But we still plan on staying there again. Just experienced sticker shock.
