Location and comfortable

The lifts have to be some of the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed. They are incredibly slow, wait for ever and very frustrating. This needs to be fixed. You cannot market yourself as a premium hotel and charge the price you do and then have terrible lifts that just ruin the experience.

Location is very good. Bed comfortable, had a good nights sleep, and room facilities adequate. Good to see non dairy alternatives in buffet breakfast without having to request.

Cleanliness is very poor. Floors in room and communal areas really do need a thorough clean. For example floor upstairs in restaurant clearly hadn't been cleaned from previous night .. very dirty and sticky. Quite nasty when your shoes stick to the floor. Breakfast buffet adequate however presentation could be improved upon. Staff lacking basic training, eg had to ask for spoons to be replenished and handed a serving spoon rather than a dessert spoon to eat yoghurt with. Staff on reception at check out asked how our stay was, mentioned the cleanliness issues however he clearly wasn't actually listening as he mumbled some sort of acknowledgment and then said "pardon?". If you don't want to receive feedback then don't ask for it. Would we stay again .. No, which is a shame. Hotel could be so much more if a little effort was put in.

De locatie is super. Dichtbij meeste theaters en daar kwamen wij ook voor. Het ontbijt is lekker en goed

Het personeel is echt totaal niet klantgericht of vriendelijk. 2 mensen boven bij het ontbijt waren vriendelijk. Maar de receptie is echt schandalig. Mijn vriend vroeg bijvoorbeeld gewoon netjes hoelaat het uitchecken was en ze rolde met hun ogen en lachten hem nog net niet uit. De liften zijn echt enorm traag. De bar was constant gesloten voor privé evenementen dus hebben niet in de avond daar een drankje kunnen drinken. Super stom want dit is wel een reden waarom ik graag hier wilde slapen vanwege het uitzicht. Daarnaast was het op 1 avond zo luidruchtig met de muziek dat de lampen in de slaapkamer zelfs trilde en wij sliepen op de 6de en de bar is op de 9de. Wij hadden echt medelijden met de mensen op de 8ste verdieping. Het ging echt nog wel tot later op de avond door. Wij hebben een duurdere kamer geboekt met uitzicht op de stad. Het uitzicht was top aangezien we een hoek hadden, maar daar is ook wel alles mee gezegd. De kamer was echt vies. Er zat zelfs achter de gordijnen op de muur zwarte schimmel vlekken. Het bed was klein en keihard! Ook onder het bed zat een kleed met allemaal vieze vlekken.. de badkamer had allemaal schimmel in de tegels en zo kan ik nog wel veel meer dingen opnoemen. We hebben echt behoorlijk wat geld betaald en de kwaliteit is echt schandalig. Hadden beter bij de Londoner kunnen slapen. Was ik voor 5 dagen 300 euro meer kwijt met z’n 2en maar dat was echt wel een mooi en schoon hotel. Ik snap ook niet dat dit een 4 sterren hotel genoemd mag worden… de foto’s zijn zwaar misleidend met hoe het er in het echt uitziet op de kamer..wij zullen hier niet meer verblijven in de toekomst. Zonde van zon mooie locatie!

The property was nice and well kept. It had really wonderful design which I appreciated. The AC was incredible.

The housekeeping was showing up knocking before 9am which seemed incredibly early. I had to put my do not disturb sign out just so I was not woken up by aggressive knocking at 8:30am.

Fantastic location with beautiful views from the room and rooftop. The bed was also very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My parents really enjoyed their stay and had a lovely time celebrating their birthdays.

The only disappointment was that the rooftop was closed for a private event during their stay, so my parents weren't able to enjoy drinks up there. This was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel, as I really liked the idea of them relaxing on the rooftop and enjoying the views, so it was a shame they didn't get to experience it.

Sabah erken saatte oda servisi tarafından uyandırılmak rahatsız edici temizlik için erken bir saat olduğunu düşünüyorum. Ayrıca odalar baya küçük premium oda almamıza rağmen iki kişi zor sığdık.

The location was amazing, loved the rooftop area, the breakfast was plentiful lots of choice and tasted so good the staff were very friendly

The lift because the hotel was busy the lift was constantly full we waited around 15 minutes just to get in to one with enough room for our cases so couldn’t use the stairs

Très bien situé. Personnel agréable. Le rooftop au petit déjeuner ou pour l’apéritif et diner c’est EXTRA, magnifique vue sur le centre de Londres. Petit déjeuner copieux et en plus du buffet, propose un plat avec oeufs servi minute à table parmi une carte de différents plats (omelettes, poché, au plat,… + accompagnement) inclus dans le petit déjeuner.

The hotel was beautifully decorated to fit being in the west end, the staff were really friendly anf helpful, the room was spacious as was the bathroom, i stayed in a disabled access room so it wad a wet room and was laid out perfectly, the matress was abit to hard for me but other than that no complaints at all

1- التاكسي لا يصل للاوتيل فيه تسحيب شنط في زحمة الناس 2- المبني قديم والمصاعد تصدر صوت مزعج مدخل الاوتيل درج مزعج مع الحقائب 3- تم اخراجنا صباح باكر لان فيه حالة حريق لم ياتي اي اعتذار اوشرح من الفندق ولا نعلم هل هو انذار حقيقي ام طواري 4- اي احد يقدر يدخل ويروح للمصاعد او الدرج بحكم وجود بار في الادوار العليا يفترض فيه مصعد للزوار ومصعد للنزلاء يفتح بالكرت 5- الاوتيل في منطقة زحمة والشحاذين والهوم لس ينامون عند الباب مستويات الامان جدا منخفضة اللامانة لم اجرب الاكل عندهم

Location was perfect! Reception staff was very friendly and kindly upgraded us to a Premium room which made our stay extra special.

Check in was pleasant although front desk got cramped when other guests arrived. Room was a decent size considering the hotels’ very central location. Sliding door to bathroom was very stiff and hard to open/close. Rooftop bar has excellent views but staff up there are somewhat hit and miss. Waiter who served us was very “yes” or “no” and lacking in hospitality or empathy (no snacks or anything other than bottled beer yet pints were available on our return later. Odd.) Breakfast was good, decent choices and polite service. In summary, ALL staff need to be pleasant and empathetic when customer facing. Mechanics of rooms need some attention. Location is very good.

The Indigo hotel is just grubby. My room floor looked dirty and I found someone else toe nails on the floor. I raised the issue with reception and they said after an investigation. The cleaning staff were spoken to and they were looking to reclaim their costs. Reception also said I must have moved the bed. I had no apology nor put at easy my room would be cleaned. For the money in central London you would expect better.

Mi hija tenia mal una pierna y estaba con muletas y nos dieron una habitación de minusvalidos amplia lo cual Le ayudaba sobretodo en el baño con los agarres especiales.

Q la ventana no se podía abrir aunque fuera un poco. Pero menos mal q tenía ventana porque las dos noche antes qu estuve con una amiga en este mismo hotel no teníamos y era agobiante.

Prospective guests need to know the massive security risks and absolute lack of corporate accountability at Hotel Indigo London - 1 Leicester Square (IHG). While staying here in March, three of our expensive watches were stolen out of our room. The hotel's digital key lock audit logs confirmed a shocking fact: a housekeeper made a completely unauthorized entry into our room. Immediately after entering, she abandoned her post, left her shift early, quit her employment, and blocked all incoming calls from the hotel and her agency, Omni Facilities Management The security failures did not stop there. The room did not feature a standard in-room safe to secure valuables. Furthermore, during our stay, an unknown individual tried to force entry into our room in the dead of night. If I hadn't physically engaged the privacy latch from the inside, they would have been at our bedside. For 90+ days, we have tried to resolve this professionally with Hotel Indigo, IHG Corporate Guest Relations, and Omni. We answered every invasive question, forwarded our credit card statements, and sent detailed PayPal purchase site verifications. They routinely ghosted our emails for weeks. They finally issued an official claim denial through their insurance company. Their excuse? In my initial email to police and staff—which was taken after being awake for 24 hours straight with jet lag and dealing with the trauma of a room invasion—I estimated the last sighting of the watches at 4:00 PM instead of our exact room departure time of 1:30 PM. They are shamelessly leveraging a 2-hour timeline error to ignore the fact that their own employee committed a felony and fled. They are now falsely claiming a safe was present. We are escalating this to legal counsel. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They do not protect your safety, they outsource their staff to unaccountable third parties, and their insurance division exists solely to find technicalities to cheat victims. The trauma of this breach was so severe that when our travel group booked this exact hotel the following month, we had to stay at a completely different hotel away from our group for two days before our cruise just to feel safe. IHG's complete refusal to take accountability has cost us thousands of dollars in stolen goods and emergency alternative travel expenses.

Definitely wasn't worth the money I spent. The sheets were dirty on arrival. The whole room looks Dirty. When I had a shower it flooded into the bedroom. Called maintenance to fix it, but it still didn't get fixed because the next day the same thing happened. There was a drilling noise and a banging noise. Definitely not, shouldn't have the stars it has !!

We booked expecting to be able to use the roof top bar - we were not told on booking that ir was closed to guests on both days we were in the hotel. The staff just shrugged when we raised this - they could not give a care about it. We booked as we like the roof top bar and vies so not being able to use it either day was annoying and we should not have had to pay full price with this major loss of utility.

The public areas look tired and the rooftop bar was closed to the guests in the evening due to private functions.

Do not stay at this hotel. We stayed in late March. When we checked into our room we could not find a safe and assumed our valuables would be safe in our room (stored in the middle of a duffle bag stored out of site). We met friends for lunch in the afternoon and while we were out housekeeping entered our room, stole three expensive watches, and then left the premises never to be seen or hear of again. Hotel Indigo takes no responsibility because they outsource housekeeping. IHG takes no responsibility for Hotel Indigo. The housekeeping company immediately sent the claim to their insurance company who after four months just denied any accountability because no one actually saw the housekeeper in possession of our watches even though they acknowledged the mysterious circumstance of her immediately disappearing. This is obviously a criminal ring which seems to be protected by the housekeeping company, Hotel Indigo and IHG. If you have anything of value, do not stay there!!! At this point we will be turning this over to the lawyers.

Great location, friendly staff and good clean rooms. I stay a lot at this hotel and would recommend it. The roof top bar and restaurant has great views over London. Staff on reception are friendly and helpful, it’s quick to check in.

Very strange and negative experience here. We had found rooms available as we were looking due to our booking elsewhere being unsatisfactory. On arrival, the lady at reception didn't even look up at us. We asked if we could see a room and were told abruptly that there were none available. We explained we were able to see rooms were available online which was responded to with a shrug before looking away from us. We asked again which elicited a sigh and no further eye contact made. We possibly would have booked but were unable to get any response from the lady on reception and so we just left.

Für das Aufbewahren pro Gepäcksstück 10 Pfund hab ich noch nie erlebt und finde ich dreist. Gleich zum Empfang ein richtig schlechter erster Eindruck. Auf die beiden Aufzüge wartet man eine Ewigkeit, zudem war dann einer davon über zwei Tage ausser Betrieb. Die Wände sind extrem hellhörig, wenn die Reinigung im Nebenzimmer über, unter oder nebenan arbeitet hört man es nicht nur extrem laut, es fühlt sich teilweise an wie ein Erdbeben, dass sogar die Wände zittern. (Kein Scherz) Das Frühstück war nicht besonders, der Kaffee richtig schlecht. Der überzogene Preis dürfte nur der tollen Rooftopbar geschuldet sein, die Drinks aber auch sauteuer

Stayed there for 3 nighty on a business trip. the hotel is at Leicester square right in the middle of everything important in central london. Very good tube connections, hundreds of restaurant at every price point and China town is just adjacent. The staff welcomed me and upgraded my room. the room is in a very good condition, very clean and the Air conditioner worked flawlessly. The restaurant at the top floor serve very good breakfeast and in the evening is a lively bar. noise can be an issue from outside but that's the price you pay to be in the middle of the west end and everything, but after midnight it calms down. I highly recommend it for anyone coming to London for sighseeing and tourist attractions.

A very mediocre hotel to say the least. Reception staff was pretty unfriendly and unhelpful at check in. Was was decent but location is on top of a busy square so it was very loud in the room. Restaurant on the roof has great views but breakfast was terrible. Overall not worth the money at all.

Booked a premium Queen room because we didn’t want a room where it’s so tight it’s hard to move around the bed. The premium Queen rooms on the listing looked like they had decent proportions so we booked this. In the room we got I had to climb over the bed to get into it (tiny passage and wall mounted tv blocking the way anyway), it was so narrow! There was space by the door and bathroom instead. Contacted the hotel on multiple occasions to clarify there wasn’t a mistake with our room allocation but eventually they got back to us to say our room is technically 20sqm so qualifies as premium Queen. Personally we felt this was dishonest and the room we had should not have been classed - and charged - like so. Also to note, one bathrobe as standard for bookings for two, and while the soundproofing from outdoor noises was good, the sound of slamming doors inside woke us up multiple times a night.

The worst hotel experience ever — avoid this place! If you’re considering staying here — don’t. Every time we walked past the front desk, there was someone complaining about something. The manager, Hash, was completely unprofessional and ineffective — not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. They say fish rots from the head!!! The location was unsafe, noisy, and so unpleasant that on our very first day we asked whether we could be moved to another hotel within their chain. We booked a premium room and, as a Diamond member, were promised an upgraded room on a higher floor with balcony. We were told to pack, check out, and check back in — only to find out the room wasn’t available. This happened twice, forcing us to repeatedly pack and unpack. We were on the edge and requested a refund so we could move to another hotel. Denied. The fridge in our room also didn’t work, despite me having medication that required refrigeration. They claimed it was fixed, but it stopped working again, likely ruining expensive medication. Cherry on top: on checkout day they refused to store our bags unless we paid an extra fee. Completely unacceptable service and extremely poor management.

The hotel, staff, and room was fine. The location is exceptional and the view from the roof bar is awesome.

The 9th floor bar and restaurant is rubbish. The place is understaffed. They constantly ran out of glasses, plates, cutley. We had a party of 6, went for a lunchtime drink when it was almost empty. Slow service. We returned about 8.30pm for a birthday celebration. The service was abysmal, the staff were not busy, but 3 were content to wait for the one behind the bar served drinks. They then decided at 10pm to close the bar, plenty of patrons still around. The following morning at breakfast it was worse. 4 of us ordered together and mine arrived 25 minutes after the other 3! Poached eggs like bullets and a muffin that looks like it was toasted 3 days earlier. 2 coffee machines, only one working, no cups, teaspoons. We will not return, it isnt 4 star, or even close

The worst thing your money could buy. Bad service, bad hospitality, and bad food. You have to ask for the basic amenities that should be available in zero-star hotels, and to your surprise they don’t afford it to you. The only good thing about this hotel is location.

It was in an excellent location. My room looked down onto Leicester Square and it was buzzing day and night. I loved it

Lifts were slow. There is a very popular rooftop bar restaurant so the lifts were used for those customers. The only other thing was ( older woman traveling alone) security. With so many customers coming and going there was not anything stopping them wandering around the corridors of the residents rooms

We booked a double room. The room we were given was extraordinary small for 2 people. There was a 6” gap down the right side of the bed to walk down. The bathroom was small. Really not big enough for two people and very disappointing. The bar staff were quite friendly. The restaurant staff in the morning were fairly uninterested in serving the customers, with the exception of one lady who was very helpful and proactive (Indian lady - didn’t get her name unfortunately, but she was very good) The reception staff were worse. Gave the impression of being completely bored out of their minds! We won’t be going back!

Customer service was not very good, abrupt staff who didn’t even smile. Hair in breakfast of my colleague. My room had no attention to details cleaning, scuff marks, mould in shower. Dirty pillow case, dirty towel in room.

- Les espaces communs voire la chambre sont pas mal poussiéreux - Globalement l’hôtel aurait besoin d’un refresh. Les ascenseurs sont dans un mauvais état, on les attend hyper longtemps - Le petit-déjeuner ne vaut pas son prix - La wifi dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas très bien - Globalement, coûte très cher surtout parce qu’il est en plein Leceister Square

Only good thing about this hotel is the view but you can't see it at night as the bar always has a private party going on - 2 years running we found this. Breakfast compared to last year took over an hr, cold and hard. Obviously been under heat lamps and not cooked fresh as stated. No cups (had paper ones) long queues for 1 coffee machine. No spoons, dishes or plates. No orange juice or honey. When asked for items to be replenished ie pastries and fruit - they never came. Tables were not cleared off. We were supposed to have complimentary drinks on arrival but the restaurant staff knew nothing about this. When finally agreed I had to open the bottles myself, poor it and take it to 36 people outside. A good start to my holiday. The staircase was locked so anyone with a lift anxiety had to suffer! Staff rude and reception staff didn't look up from their phones. Will not be going again! Good location but that's about the best you get.

The chairs in the dining room were filthy and worn out. The view was great but the chairs were uncomfortable and low lounge chairs instead of dining chairs and were so close I was touching the person sitting on the next table. Very awkward.

O Staff da receção não é o mais simpático- estão ocupados - ou simplesmente a conversar, deixam os hospedes À espera que, não saúdam quando entramos (e a receção fica a 2 metros em frente à porta). Perguntámos se tinham um adaptador de tomada e a resposta foi apenas: "Compre na loja ao lado" Avisamos que chegaríamos pelas 02 da manhã e pedimos se seria possível - mediante pagamento- ter algo no quarto para comer- não foi possível, " comprem nas vending machines"- mesmo tendo pago pequeno almoço para o último dia e não tendo sido possível fazer essa refeição por o voo ser demasiado cedo. o Restaurante/ Bar tem uma vista lindíssima mas as cadeiras e sofás estão encardidos de sujidade. A limpeza do quarto é muito mal feita- não levantam chávenas usadas, não limpam o vaso sanitário - tivemos de reclamar da higiene e limpeza. o Quarto ficava ao lado de uma divisão de arrumos, cuja porta batia a noite toda sem qualquer cuidado pelos quartos ao lado. Reservamos um quarto duplo- deixaram penas um par de chinelos e um roupão, sabendo de antemão que seria ocupação dupla.
