Stay Inn Taksim Hostel

It honestly exceeded my expectations. The place was very clean and safe. The whole experience left a great impression and I will definitely be coming back, inshallah. Highly recommend it!

Location was perfect. Rooms were very clean. Lockers are perfect.

Rooms were not spacious enough. Sanitory items were broken.

Unfortunately it wasn’t clean and the noise was very loud from the neighbors ( Night clubs ) . I wish they can work on the cleanliness of the bathrooms and fix them.

The staff was polite and welcoming, and the location is convenient. I also liked that it’s a non-smoking place, which makes the atmosphere more comfortable. The prices are reasonable and match the service provided. However, cleanliness could be improved a bit. Overall, it was a decent experience. WiFi 10/10

It can be noisy at night, but it’s still possible to get some sleep. Also, there is only one restroom per floor, so you often have to wait a long time — sometimes even up to an hour. That was honestly quite disappointing and inconvenient.

Quarto pequeno

bad

bad

Accessibility and convenience and great fellowz working there Umut and others

Bad bathroom no kitchen bad common area

Everything was fine.

I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately my experience was very bad. During my stay, a fight broke out at the hotel and there were even gunshots. It was very frightening and felt extremely unsafe. I was very scared and did not feel protected at all. For a place where guests are supposed to relax and feel safe, this situation is completely unacceptable. Guest safety should be the top priority, but it clearly was not here.I cannot recommend this hotel because incidents like this make the place feel very unsafe.

Staff were very nice and helpful

Bathrooms were a broken mess. Missing shower doors, missing brackets for shower heads, toilet seats breaking off. Loud alarms from doors going off anytime someone enters

The bed were comfortable and everything were fine in the given price

The washroom area is very less and can be little more clean.

Good location friendly staff cheap if you don’t mind sharing a dormitory

all ok

sicuramente consigliato!!! posizione eccellente, molti pub nelle vicinanze.

friendly staff who try to make your stay more comfortable.

they provided me an early check-in, it was very nice cause i had a 8h-flight and was so tired.

Good hostel!

-

Noise outside Lots of warer in bathroom Broken showers Not enough hangers to hang my jackets

Extremely dirty (bathroom especially).

Good location but bad is not comfortable

Everything is fine, except for a small problem with the shower

The shower hose on the 2nd floor needs to be replaced.

Everything was perfect! Umut is one the friendliest hostel managers I‘ve met, the room was cozy, with only 3 more people, with all the necessary equipment such as lockers and curtains.

Just a small inconvenience - no shower gel in the bathroom.

Rien !

Lounge has sofas and desks to work from. The 2 bedroom female suite was comfortable. Nice hostel to relax after a day of walking around the city

Be careful walking up the stairs. You may bump your head on the concrete design when going up and down the stairs lol

Good location, but it’s better to sleep with earplugs.

The rooms are very small. If all the beds are occupied, I can’t imagine how there’s enough space to fit everyone.

Good location, close to shops and tourist attractions, and not noisy. Super attentive staff.

They could improve the electronic sound the doors make when opening and closing.

Location

toilette and service close to the bed. No shower

perfect location, very friendly stuff, rooms got everything you need for a short stay :) plus feels very safe

the location is perfect but veryyy loud and at night it’s a bit hard to sleep from all street sounds

Location is very good.

Room was a bit noisy. Door needs some oil.

Overall, this hostel has very clear strengths and weaknesses. Pros: Good location near Taksim, convenient for transportation One of the owners is genuinely warm and welcoming, often offering Turkish tea and making guests feel at Overall: This hostel may suit travelers who prioritize location, budget, and room type. However, for solo female travelers arriving late at night or those who value safety awareness and basic human warmth, I would recommend caution and preparation. There is clearly room for improvement, especially in night-time communication and staff service awareness. Whether that happens depends on how much the management values hospitality itself.

They offer a female twin room, which is not very common among hostels in Istanbul and is a plus for female travelers Things to be aware of: From Wednesday to the weekend, the surrounding area becomes a happy / party zone, with music and noise often lasting until 3–4 a.m. (this is mainly an environmental issue) I arrived alone around 1 a.m., with no mobile signal and unable to access WhatsApp messages, which made it difficult to find the hostel When I contacted the staff for help, I was told that I was “disturbing” him. As a guest, I apologized immediately. The next day, due to exhaustion, I completed registration later, which the owner said he understood Although the staff did send messages via WhatsApp, in a situation where I clearly could not read them and was arriving alone late at night, no further guidance or confirmation of my safe arrival was provided After check-in, my phone had no battery and I asked about charging. I was told the staff member was already off duty and did not wish to be disturbed. The attitude felt rather cold Despite staying for nearly ten days and working daily in the common area, this staff member never initiated any interaction. Interestingly, I once offered him an orange, while another owner would proactively offer Turkish tea. The contrast in attitude was very noticeable

La ubicación muy bien, no tuve desayuno. Buena atención de los funcionarios.

Deben mejorar ciertas cosas

The location

The bed wasn't comfortable and loud

Çok merkezi, çalışanlar şeffaf ve yardımcı..

Şehrin ortası , çok gürültülü..

Çok güzel

Heç bir şey

Good location, clean and comfortable. Adequate for the price

Would have been nice to be able to make a beverage when having a few hours rest before going out again. Noise from the adjacent rave bar/night club made sleep almost impossible till well into the night. I was glad I had earplugs. The room window failed to shut fully. That could have helped deaden the noise. A chair in the room would also have been helpful. The noise destroyed any chance of me recommending this hostel to other travellers. Very lucky to get a 7 rating, probably should have gone for a 6, but the staff were helpful.

No think

😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Very close to the center

The staff are not friendly, I sent messages on booking and WhatsApp but no one answered. The toilet is small and stagnant, the tap is broken, not clean. The curtains for the bed are quite small. There is no curfew so tourists are very noisy, I have stayed in many hostels around the world and this is the worst. The room is not soundproof so there is a lot of noise from drunk people outside. I came here and paid for it but I think it is not worth it no matter how cheap it is. I will never come back here!
