Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent, very close to the Vatican.
I was also uncomfortable with being asked to provide my card details at check-in. I later read reviews on Google Maps from guests who reported being charged penalties to their cards. Fortunately, nothing was charged to us, but please keep this in mind.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Location is good. The cleaner is very helpful. The reception was quick in responding to calls since she was not at the premises most of the time
No reception when we arrived in the morning around 10am. Luckily the cleaner was around who opened the door for us to sit for awhile . He told us the reception would come back at 2pm till 6:30. So, we went out for lunch and when we were back at 3:30pm. No one was there. Luckily we could contact her through the phone and she opened the gate and door for us remotely. Only one thin bed sheet was provided as the blanket and it was definitely not enough for the night.

Kwaliteit van het zetelbed is wat sneu in zo'n kamer, kamers zijn ook heel gehorig naar de buren en gang toe. Blijf vooral weg van het ontbijt, dat is wat zielig en zijn prijs zeker niet waard.

Reviewed May 7, 2026I traveled with my 80 year old mother and it is an ideal location closer to everything. Few minutes walk to the Vatican and St. Peters Basilica. Taxi stand is right across the street. That was extremely convenient. Quick walk to Borgo Pio for breakfast or dinner. The staff member that cleaned the rooms was extremely helpful and I nice. I wish I had written down her name to give credit here.
Couple of times, I had to walk to 5th floor and bring the elevator down for my mother. She is 80 years old. Some people left the elevator doors open when they got off ( despite several large signs saying to close the elevators doors). It's one of those old style (cool) elevators. You have to close all four doors for it to work. Good thing I was there. If it was somebody who is disabled or elderly and absolutely needed the elevator, that would have been a problem. It is not the fault of the hotel. There are other people who live in the building.

Hersey iyiydi ancak girişte kredi kartı numarasını almalarini çok olumsuzdu. Sonuçta bu bilgi özel ve verilmemesi gerekiyor eğer ödememiz yapolmasaydi vazgecerdik.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut; In wenigen Minuten ist man am Petersplatz. Auch andere Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, ohne Bus oder U-Bahn zu benötigen. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet, das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet (täglich von 8.00-10.00). Auf persönliche Wünsche wurde sehr gut eingegangen. Es handelt sich bei der Unterkunft um eine ehemalige Wohnung, die zu Gästezimmern - jedes mit eigenem Bad - umgebaut wurde. Es gibt daher nur 6 Zimmer.
Ein wirklich ruhiges Zimmer in dem Sinn ist nicht möglich, da im Zentrum gelegen und von Straßen umgeben.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Devo dire che il punto forte della struttura è la posizione: a due passi da Città del Vaticano e da Castel Sant’Angelo. Ben collegata dal punto di vista dei trasporti, la fermata della metro Ottaviano si trova a pochi passi dalla struttura, con essa si raggiungono in pochi minuti i monumenti principali della città (Piazza di Spagna, Colosseo, Fori Imperiali). La zona poi è molto tranquilla e sicura anche la sera.
La camera è dotata dei comfort di base, ma manca il bidet che per noi italiani è di vitale importanza, la vasca davvero poco pratica, è totalmente aperta se non per un vetro che copre pochissimo e fa fuoriuscire moltissima acqua durante l’utilizzo della doccia. Le stanze non sono insonorizzate, da una camera all’altra si sente qualsiasi rumore e stessa cosa vale per la zona della strada principale (almeno dove era situata la nostra camera), se si ha il sonno leggero è difficile riposare serenamente.

We stayed in winter and unfortunately the room was freezing cold during the night. There was no duvet on the bed just an heavy cover and absolutely no extra quilt or wool blanket in the wardrobe. We turned on the heating at 24 degrees but it was useless, we could not sleep at all. There is no one at reception during the night so it was impossible to get some help.

Room is specious and I had street view which made it more interesting. we stayed only one night coming from Spain, and it was the right choice for us.

However, the room did feel a bit used up and could use some maintenance. Some of the doors need fixing and there was mold in the shower. Also, although we booked a 3 person room, it felt like the 3rd person setup was more like something added last minute instead of an actual 3 person room.

W pokojach NIE MA ABSOLUTNIE żadnego wygłuszenia. Słychać każdy głos sąsiada, dmuchanie nosa, czy drobny szelest, zamykanie drzwi, czynności w łazience. Pierwsze dwie noce jak byli sąsiedzi nie przespane - PORAŻKA.

Not enough of power points, would not give an extra coffee sachet I was given the smallest room, I was told the room was for three, just about fitted the two of us. The kettle would not cut out, as a result the handle got very hot. Need extra blind on one bathroom window to prevent light coming into the bedroom early morning

It is closed to the bus stop or Metro if you want to go to Rome. It is a good and clean hotel. It looks it has been upgraded to modern looks. You hardly see the receptionist. So, I think it is not a hotel that you use to get. It is more like a high end B&B.
